KMCC Resturant Review

For those who haven't been grasped it.....the new Ramstein "Taj Mahal"....which we kindly refer to as the KMCC....is now open. The KMCC was to be this experience of shopping, eating, and sleeping within the Ramstein area.

So today, I choose to use my lunch-hour and taste the fine dining of the sports bar. So I went over, and walked in. The waitress wanted to introduce herself....which I didn't care one way or another about "Mandy". I was there for the food.

So I decided to go cheap and quick.....I ordered a simple club sandwich and fries. Then "Mandy" asked me about the drink....regular or small, and I said a regular Coke. Then it hit me....she was German. So naturally, I asked how big a regular was. She responded...a liter. That's a regular? That's way more than a guy needs for lunch. Luckily, I was thinking.

So then, I waited. And waited. And waited. And waited.

Forty-five minutes went by, then I was served.

I'm used to a simple club sandwich. It's ok to have mustard on the plate...spicey mustard....because it goes with the club sandwich. Maybe mayonese goes along to a minor degree. But here was a shot glass on each half of the club sandwich with ketchup. Then somewhere in the midde was another shotglass of mayonese. To be kinda honest....this was awful damn soggy.

I sat there....peeved already because of the amount of time wasted, but this was one of the worst sandwhiches that I've had in years.

So I paid the $14 and left. The funny thing is that I could have gotten a $8.50 combo meal (same club meal) at the golf course, and it was 4-star compared to this deal.

Frankly, that's probably it for me and the Sports Bar. There's still the Grill to go but I'll try that next week.

Note: I walked almost a half-mile from my car to the front door.....because there's no real parking near the building. It's acceptable....because at best....I might only go out there once a month.
