How The Red Flag Deal Will Go

 By October, I expect Senate/House action to occur....giving some 'Red Flag' situation 'life'.

So this is what will occur over the next three years.

Various married folks will find divorce in their path, with the spouse attempt to get a sweat deal....by hinting they will dump information to get you on the Red Flag.  Folks will tape the threat, and then say 'no'.

A week later....cops will arrive at the house to tell you that you are under a Red Flag and can no longer have guns.  You get a receipt for the weapons and a description.

You now call a fancy pants lawyer and head into divorce court....where he runs the tape of the threat, and suddenly.....the judge looks at her and the mess left to clean up.  Her lawyer says let's pause here, but the judge says a week is all you get.

The wife comes back then to admit she made a false statement to the police and the judge says....go and make a clean new statement to get the husband off the issue.

You show up at the station in a week....to discover your guns 'gone'.  No one knows much of anything. 

You go back to the lawyer, and now a half-a-million lawsuit starts up....against the wife, the lawyer of hers, and the police.

Over a three year period....over 40,000 cases will occur.

The legal profession is now under a threat.....going into the hundreds of millions.  

Several law groups meet the senators, and they agree....the red flag garbage is killing the legal profession, and cities are having to account for all the guns that disappeared while under police protection.

By 2027, the red flag law disappears entirely.....with close to 1-trillion in legal action/damages going on.  

Oddly, at least three-hundred robberies, shootings, and murders....were committed in this period by the gun confiscated by the police and 'disappeared'.  No one can explain the incompetency situation with the police.  

5150

 Around 80 to 90 percent of Americans.....if you use the term '5150'....they have no idea what it means.  If you use the term around a California person....they have a reaction.

5150 is a legal term....involving the California Welfare and Institutions code.  It relates to the welfare/safety of people (adults).

Under the code of 5150 legal....it says “a person with a mental illness to be involuntarily detained for a 72-hour psychiatric hospitalization.” 

So if you present a danger to yourself or others....you get the 5150 treatment.

The term 5585?  Same deal, but for juveniles.

It's generally believed that around one-quarter of society.....has some type of mental issue each and every year....some minor....some major.  Some are caused by an event....some by alcohol use....some by drug use.

So I looked it up for a pre-Covid situation in California....under the 5150 situation.  For 2019, it was 17,736 folks who were brought in.  Roughly half (8,424) were signed over to a 14-day holding situation.  360 folks were held for 30 days.

But here's the funny thing.....the listing (here) lists county-by-county numbers.  Urbanized counties are the only ones that ended up with numbers.  Yolo County for example....zero....it's the western part of Sacramento and mostly rural. Plumas and Mono?  Zero.....mostly rural as well.

The places with high 5150 counts?  All urbanized areas.  

The 5585 gimmick?  Same story....virtually zero in rural areas.  

After a while, it begs the question if rural counties are just overlooking nutty behavior or if you seem to have unstable people more in urbanized areas.   

Observations

 1.  Just odd....CDC raised the Monkeypox 'threat' to stage II.  Then they instructed folks to go back to mask wearing.....yeah, no joke.  So far, people who've gotten it....had skin-to-skin contact, so you'd think long-sleeve shirts and gloves would be recommendation.

2.  All this sexualizing business....will lead to some point in early 2023 where 12-year old kids demand the right to marry without parental consent.  

3.  Lot of chatter about some national/federal weapon buy-back program.  Some even putting numbers up around $1,500.  If this were me....I'd look over my collection and the crappiest assets I have....I'd sell to buy newer ones.

4.  I noticed some report from the bay area (SF)....that from all of the public charging stations for E-cars.....about one out of four was non-operational.  Nationally?  It'd be curious ask just how bad it is.

5.  Just something that you notice after a while.....people don't want just the truth.  They want some reassurance (continually) that x-comment is true.  Over and over.

They now realize that a 4-line comment spoken on Monday morning....may go to revision three by Wednesday night.  Some odd evolution that you wouldn't have had 20 years ago.

6.  Just odd, if you go look up Taylor Lorenz on Wiki.....the birthdate listed is "21 Oct...c....1984/1987".  Translated?  It's not clear which year she was born.  

She's a top journalist for WaPo.

'C' in this case is meaning things are unclear about her birthdate.  Yeah, it's a bit odd and it makes you wonder if there's some problem with her age which she doesn't want to talk about.

7.  You know things are getting bad when you spend at least 30 minutes a day evaluating people at the gas station, Quicki-Market, burger joint....for mental issues.  

8.  Texas state AG looking at Twitter now....for bot-information?  Problem here is that if he puts anything on the table to suggest it's more than 15-percent.....SEC is dragged into a 5-star mess.
