In various statements over the past two weeks....there's been this big hint that Twitter will go and work up a foundation for podcasts. Content makers are the ones who will benefit....if this occurs.
So the warning basically goes to YouTube....if you were stupid enough to continue strong moderation....content makers will move over to Twitter, and probably make the same....if not more.....money.
Five years ago....no one would have really discussed the podcast world. I'd say between Rogen, Scott Adams, and Matt Walsh.....I've converted over to being a weekly addict on podcasts. There's probably an hour a day now that I average on listening to analysis and thought.
If Twitter just took one-third of the podcast 'kingdom' that YouTube runs? That's enough to change the dynamics of profit for YouTube, and probably start worrying the moderation crowd.

ReplyDelete* a homogenized sanitized YouTube version, and the other is
* Real-World on the Rumble platform.
Violence and the appropriate response is rarely pretty.
