Well....early in the 1920s....you had fascism start up in Italy....National Socialism start up in Germany, and Francoism start up in Spain.
Oddly enough....to counter this...at the left side of the spectrum...various social political parties start 'clubs'. Its safe to say both the SPD Party and Communist Party of Germany had elements that were developed as 'thugs'....who were supposed to oppose the bad evil Nazis.
There is a belief as 1932 came along and the Nazis were in charge of the government....this element of both the SPD and Communists....left Germany and spent the next decade in the USSR. After the war, they were set in various ways to return to Germany....as the face of Antifa.
As you go through the 1950s/1960s of Germany, there was class warfare going on, with university students brought into the 'club' of Antifa.
There were various upstarts in France, Italy and across most of Europe in the 1970s and 1980s.....bringing violence as a tool for the 'common working man who was suffering'.
In this era of 2008 to 2020? In a number of cases, the US Antifa attached itself to black inner city, and this puzzled blacks because it was mostly a bunch of educated white intellectual kids....who were into destroying communities. In some odd way, they resembled intellectual klan groups.
Do they have leadership? No. If you find a group of a dozen.....there might one leader of the group, who seems to have cash flow. So far, no one connects the dots....to say a foundation or authority exists.
Interest within the US Marshalls or FBI? That seems odd too.....like they are simply refuse to view them....while spending a lot of time with the Proud Boys.
Final word? As long as they operate in urbanized communities where weapons are frowned upon in open use....they probably will get their strategy done. If they appear in southern communities where weapon use is encouraged....their strategy is doomed.
Whoever brought them to Atlanta....probably isn't from the state of Georgia....just my humble guess.
There seems to be a consistent thread of groups acting as the enforcement arm of the Democrat Party going back to the post-Civil War era when the Ku Klux Klan was formed in 1865. It was formed to resist the Republican Party's Reconstruction policies designed to establish political and economic equality for Black Americans.
ReplyDeleteAntfa is the polar opposite version of the Klan.
ReplyDeleteAfter a century of Klan intimidation we have seen new groups emerge as anti-American and Marxist oriented. One of the two groups currently is Antifa and the other is Black Lives Matter.
ReplyDeleteAntifa is a leftist militant group and their goal is not fighting for freedom, but for a communist revolution. In case you've forgotten it was Joe Biden who praised Antifa when he kicked off his presidential bid in 2019.
No sensible person disagrees with the statement “Black lives matter.” But this phrase is masking the real intentions of the group.
ReplyDeleteThe founders of BLM were three radical Marxists : Alicia Garza, Patrisse Cullors and Opel Tometi. Garza appears to be the most influential of the three and she attributes much of her beliefs to Deborah Chesimard , a radical feminist and Marxist revolutionary who escaped from prison in 1979 while serving life for the murder of New Jersey State Trooper Warren Foerster. She escaped to Communist Cuba where Fidel Castro gladly gave her political asylum.
Antifa wears all black and face masks. The klan wears white and hoods. They are both mobs of white folks that target certain groups, with brutal force based on identity.
ReplyDeleteThe KKK is a reaction to the existence of people they don’t like. Jews, LGBTQ people, and people of colour being the primary groups of people who are on the receiving end of their ire. On the other hand, antifa love and support these type of people and groups. Except, the Jews. Apparently Antifa has a problem with Jews.
ReplyDeleteOriginal-klan (for the sake of the argument) had a local intent to correct corruption/threats in this little piece of Tennessee (I know the area well).
ReplyDeleteKlan version 2.0 (coming later) was more of a tool of politicalized groups (mostly rural Democrats)...to shape-up perceived threats and intimidate people.
Between the late 1800s and up to 1920s Klan....they always had a perceived enemy of the 'people'. It's a gimmick or brand...to show a message. Antifa became the same in various countries. Their general difference was they hated capitalism or anything connected to it. In the past five years....cops, store-fronts, and journalism are the bad-guys and part of the Antifa-target.
The Klan loved capitalism, but hated blacks and LBGTQ. Antifa hates capitalism, but loves blacks and LBGTQ. Polar opposites of each other in terms of their likes and dislikes.
ReplyDeleteRep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-Ga.) announced Monday she is introducing legislation that will designate the far-left militia group Antifa as a terrorist organization.
