First, there needs to be a dozen-odd 'crews'....who review the game tape after each game. If you traveled/turned-the-ball-over.....they need go back and deduct a quarter-point for each occasion.
If you watch the typical game....there must be sixty occasions where you observe the crappy-play.
Second, flagrant fouls. Same crew.....you see a flagrant foul.....you assess a four-point deduction for the team, and you suspend the player for three games. You have five of these over a season....season-long suspension.
Third, ref's are barely doing the job. Bring in NBA refs for one season.
Without a shred of evidence yet based solely on decades of similar 'overlooking', I automatically suspect 'some' judges/umpires/referèès are B&B (Bribed and Blackmailed).
