My Gut Feeling With President Biden

I sense that the November election will bring in more than enough Republicans to re-stack the House....probably 30 seats more than the Democrats.  I also think at least three Democratic Senate seats will flip (NH, NV, and AZ).  Georgia is a pure 50-50 bet.  Oh, and Alaska?  It'll flip....but to another Republican.

January in the House?  I'm willing to bet at least three hearings to start, and an impeachment probe to start up.  Figure Jan, Feb, Mar and April will be used to investigate the allegations purely on President Biden.  May will be the Impeachment, and the project goes to the Senate....where it'll be a 50-50 situation.

I think that two Democrats will side with the Republicans, and some conviction will be pushed to the 56 vote level.  The impeachment will halt....but then some state AG will pick up some tax issues with Hunter, and take this to the next level of charging him.

The rest of 2023?  A fairly miserable experience for President Biden, and I think public appearances for the second half of 2023 will be marginal.

The fact that so many Democratic Senators laid down their courage for President Biden?  It hurts them in 2024.  I'll predict at least six of them give a signal that they've had enough and will not run.

Hunter spending time in fed jail?  I'm of the opinion that he might get a year in prison, and spend less than 30 days there....before getting pardoned.

By the end of 2025, no journalist will speak of 2023....it'll be mostly a forgotten part of our history.

About IQ Scores

I noticed this report from 'UNZ' today and it's worth a minute of discussion.

As each decade has passed....the mean IQ has decreased.

Doesn't matter if you talk graduate degrees, bachelor degrees, or high school diploma.

Intentional or just an accident?

They only go back to the 1960s....it would be interesting to see things related in the 1930s and 1940s.

Are we just a bit dumber than we were in the decades prior?  It begs the question.

One Odd Aspect of the Shooter 'Kid' From Illinois

Local cops now say.....there was a 2019 event in the family home with the 'kid'.  He would have been 18 years old at that point.

Event?  The cops are called to the home....the 'kid' is acting in some bizarre way....threatening family members.

Yes, he's actually threatening to kill some folks.

At this point, they settle things down....take his sword, his dagger, and 16 knives (yeah, he had a good collection).

They filed the police report.

So when it came up to the universal background check.....he passed. Naturally, your opinion is HOW?

The Illinois folks can't answer this, without spilling the beans that only certain crimes get you a red flag.  Threatening to kill....probably isn't on the list.

As for what happened here on this incident?  The more you read on the 'kid'....you realize that he was a full-time stoner, and probably had smoked pot (strong pot) every day for the past decade.  So when he exploded and made the threats.....it wasn't really him speaking....it was the ultra strong THC.

This shooting will disappear within the next 24 hours.  I don't think anyone from the state authorities will want to openly discuss 2019 event, the red flag business, or the warnings.

Here's the thing.....how many incidents over the past five years have occurred in the state....that should disqualify idiots from gun purchases....yet the report never got into the system?  100,000?  If so....is the background check deal a bogus thing?
