Five Odd Things In The News

 1.  The Biden Administration is discussing regulations for cryptocurrency.  Odds of this working?  I'd give it less than a 10-percent chance.

Why this discussion? Back in 2013, there were 50 of these worldwide.  Today, it's believed to be in the 10,000 range.

2.  World Bank now talking 2023 major global recession?  Yeah.

What has been going on for past year?  Don't ask.

3.  Where all this secret document business is going with the Mar-a-Lago?

Once the appointed 'master' completes his survey.....he's going to have a list of documents that President Trump stamped unclassified.  At that point, the judge is going to turn to the DoJ and just tell them to hand those documents back to Trump ASAP.

One can only speculate here, but it might end up being close to 100-percent.  At that point, the whole raid 'game' will become a joke.

I will make this prediction....several of the DoJ lawyers are going to quietly hand their resignation papers in and leave the group before Thanksgiving.

4.  Pretty wild idea brewing with several major US cities....where they would get a program going where empty hotel rooms would be made available to homeless people, and normal hotel guests would be next-door to the homeless crowd.

I would anticipate those cities would see a drastic reduction in tourism (almost overnight).

All of this will trigger lawsuits over loss of profits, and trigger some cities to see less tax revenue (via hotels and tourism decline).

5.  The Pentagon last year (December timeframe), hired up a educational 'diversity chief' (mostly for overseas schools for American kids).  Well...in the past couple of months, someone went and dug up Twitter comments from this person hired, where they got all hyped-up and spoke racist comments.

Vetting being non-existent?  Well, you wonder how the system worked and no one asked about past commentary via social media.
