Five Things We Might Want To Explore And Put Into Effecct

 1.  Start a 'red-flag' program.....only on young men (ages 13-to-21).  You do X or Y....the authorities come to your house and take you for a weekend sand-bag event....where you fill 1,000 sandbags over the weekend, and get a lecture that you accomplish a second 'red-flag'.....we up the weekend number to 2,000 on the second visit.  

2.  Shutdown all social media and cable-TV for 48 consecutive hours once a month.  

3.  Force all high school students to write a mathematical formula on the cost projection, the borrowed money, and how many months are required on paying the money back.....before you can sign any paperwork for a student loan.

4.  As quick as this baby formula crisis occurred....it just stands to reason that a paper diaper crisis is next, and we ought to have plans to haul in Brazilian diapers...if necessary.

5.  One of the selling points of the AR-15 is the light-weight situation.  Perhaps to make the anti-gun folks happy.....lets make it slightly more than the M-1 (the choice rifle of WW II).....at 11.6 points.  Yes, basically doubling the weight.  You'd be required to take your AR down to the gunsmith and a lead weight (say 10 lbs) would be 'welded' upon the weapon. 

What Is Heaven Banning?

 I had to look it up and it's fairly complicated.....so I'll try to simplify this.

Hypothetically-speaking.....no one is saying it's real or existing presently, but the odds are in favor of it's existence.....you take a regular guy who says a lot of brilliant things on social media.  

Yeah, like that Elon guy.

Then you insert this AI 'bots' who follow the guy, and they inject commentary (negative in some way) to reshape others (real people) to feel less so about the guy talking/chatting.

So the AI bots would remove the significance of the real person?  Yeah.  

Presenting decent arguments?  Well....no one is really suggesting that.  In fact, I'd question how you present debate with quality material....out of thin air.  

A lot of code writing?  Tons of it.

So this is all hypothetical in nature?  Yeah, that's the general idea.  

Yeah, About That Star Wars Stuff

 Not that I really care....but there's a ton of negative 'hype' going on about Sar Wars movie/series efforts.....to be focused on diversity or fake diversity (depending on how you see things). 

The chatter?  Well....mostly complaints going on (24 hours a day) about how woke Disney has turned into.

Me?  Once the 'Return of the Jedi' wrapped up in 1983....I felt it was 'done' and it's a pretty crappy story effort from 1999 on.  

Bunch of aliens....layered upon various layers of diversity, and it's just not worth discussing.

I've tried to make sense out of the band showing up in DC.....getting headlined at the White House.

Frankly, it makes no sense.

But on the positive side....the boys all look 'drug-free', wholesome, and none have ever been arrested for bad-boy behavior.

Ten Things

 1.  I think the situation in school shooting at Uvalde, TX....was so chaotic....that the normal leadership (within the police department) could not function.  So they sat and waited, and waited, and waited.  You can shake your head, but there are moments like this in life where you just need a leader to stand up....view the mess, and guide you through some harsh reality.

2. SF school district (California) has made the decision that the term 'chief' in a job description cannot be used.  They having meetings (plural) to find a word to replace 'chief'.  I suspect after a month of discussion....they will discover that among the 250-odd English words that could be potentially used.....all of them have negative aspects as well.  Eventually,  they will settle on the word 'skipper' (because of Gilligan Island fame) and say that the dozen-odd people affected will all be skippers in the future.

3.  There are occasions now that I tend to notice people who think they are intellectuals.....suggesting it's beneath them to speak in some way so that non-intellectuals can understand them.  So they carry on for a while with jabber-talk, which makes marginal sense....while people hit the mute button when realizing the guy makes no sense.

4.  New data indicates that around a quarter of people who 'were' going to retire in 2022.....have now decided things are too expensive, and are going to wait a year, or two, or three, or four.

5.  New study shows that up around 42,777 alien civilizations possibly exist and will make contact with us within the next 2,000 years.  Should we worry about this?  

6.  On gun control regulations, Chicago ranks number one in the nation.  Is there any evidence that the regulations have been effective?

7.  Whole lot of chatter yesterday about President finally concluding that inflation is like some '200-lb piece of elephant crap on your front lawn'.  Now?  Well....lot of chatter about taxing companies more....to hand out more 'cash gifts' to the general public.  

8.  Theater managers now talking about a pop-corn shortage.  Probably a dozen Air Force cargo planes on standby.....to find pop-corn in the world and rush it to America.

9.  Around 21 black Biden-administration staff members have left, or will be leaving shortly. Commentary leads to 'promotion-potential' and general frustrations.  I suspect they all walked in on day one believing in a bunch of BS, and woke up six months later to reality.  You need not worry.....another 21 black folks are being likely lined up for replacing this crew.   

10.  Study concludes on 'long-Covid' situation....that depression and anxiety played key-roles if you felt you had long-Covid.  If you were prone to the two issues....you had a higher chance of long-Covid.  Shocking some folks?  Oh, I'd suggest that various additional studies will be done and other viruses/health issues.....will lead back to the same two problems.  

The Hunt For the Supreme Court Leaker

 It's apparently got interesting.

Court marshals are now at the point of asking individual clerks for the justices....to hand over/allow cell phone records to them.  

Nice way of doing this?  Yes, and several will do it without much worry.  It'll leave a handful refusing to play along and you aim directly at them.

But they added this 2nd thing.....to sign affidavits that they didn't release the information. 

So, you get this form that says.....you were careful and didn't give the info to some news group.  You sign and say yes.  

It's a legal document with the marshals....so when it's proven to be you....they can add another charge (figure a year in prison) for your 'incompetence'.  Pretty nifty if you ask me.  

The General Ten Gun Control Ideas

 1.  Raise the purchasing/ownership rules to age 21.

The illogic here is that you volunteer into the US military and are given the weapons as a 'matter of trust earned'.  How would you explain X and then Y?

Would the gangs and under-21 criminal gangs continue to use weapons?  That's the general idea that you are stuck with.

Adding to the illogic....if they aren't to be trusted....why allow them $100k loan potential for college debt, or allow them the right to vote?

But if you wanted to accomplish something with maximum public support....getting little to nothing in resolving the issue....this would be the key idea to embrace.

2.  Remove all semi-automatic military assault weapons from the nation, period.

This idea floats around and has three key problems.  First, the AR-15 is not a military assault weapon....no military in the world has purchased as 'such'.

Second, you'd be talking about a minimum of 25-million....if you go to all of the general characteristics.   This would require compensation to occur....in the range of $15-billion minimum.

Third, just how many would accept your 'order'?  I'd guess fewer than 30-percent would cooperate, and some national 'raid-your-house' situation would develop, with people very uncooperative from this start-up.

3.  Seize all weapons.

You just won't find more than 10-percent of the nation that really sees this as a potential answer.  

4.  Start a mental exam requirement.  

On the face of the idea.....might have potential except for the fact that one-third of people holding weapons today....might not pass the exam.  To be honest, if you applied the same exam to holding Senate/House offices or the Presidency....I'm guessing fifty of these folks would be going home.

5.  Require a completion of a gun-safety course, and an occasional refresher to occur.

I think 99-percent of people would accept this idea, but there's zero proof it'd reduce incidents.

6.  Expand background checks.

This comes up and no one has a clear explanation how it gets more intense.  Some people zero background checks occur today, which is false.  You could go and mandate a credit check but that doesn't resolve much of anything.  

7.  Mandate smaller ammo clips/magazines.  

Considering how many magazines already exist in the nation.....it's doubtful this has potential.

8.  Make more 'red-flag' laws.

But this would go back to mental stability and if 'Joe' was truly dangerous.....it's not just enough to deny him a gun.....he needs to be in a fenced-in facility.  You aren't willing to do that.

9.  Arm teachers.

Maybe a good idea, but at least a third of them (my estimate) don't want the responsibility, and could not put down a student.  

10.  More guards in schools.

Well, for about a quarter of society....they don't want to see guards in schools.  You also have the problem of hiring some unqualified people for a remarkable role in protection.  You don't want to hire up 500 Barney Fife characters.  

So, here's some plain blunt truth.....out of 300-million people in the nation, you can figure that in terms of pure-evil like this young guy.....there must be at least 10,000 of his 'kind' out there, and just waiting for one day to go-off....wanting to end the lives of twenty-odd people. 

On top of that 10,000.....you probably have another 300,000 meth-heads around the nation....guys who are willing to kill you over a item of value around $250....to cover the cost of tomorrow's drug of choice.  Home invasion is their game, and your life isn't that important. 

Convincing people of more control?  Your one chance was in the 1990s before meth and home invasion came along.  A fair number of Americans today won't agree to much of a change.  

Finally, as the fog lifts off this recent shooting and the way that the local cops handled it.....general trust in the police to be there to save/protect you?  I think that element lost a good bit 'shine'.
