This 'Civil-War' Strategy?

 Well....as silly as it sounds.....Trump would win in November (maybe marginal victory....maybe an overwhelming victory, like 40 states in his favor).

Then you would approach early January, with the arrival of the House and Senate, who might under odd circumstances have a Democratic majority in each (I'm having serious doubts on this angle).  The House would meet and disqualify Trump on day one of their meetings. They'd hand this to the Senate on day two, and Trump would be disqualified from becoming President.

Vance?  No one says of this situation, but he might say it's a all-or-none deal, and refuse to participate.

What happens on 25 January 2025?  Well....without Trump or Vance...the short-term fix would be to appoint the Head of the House (Jefferies).

My humble view of what follows?  At least twenty states would refuse to participate in any business....recall their House/Senate members, and massive chaos would occur.

Wall Street?  I'd suggest a massive fall in stock values over a one-month period.

It's just a weird scenario to discuss, and would require a bottle or two of whiskey.  

I suspect Jefferies would last about 30 days max, and the replacement President probably will be forced to resign by early March.  

When Pressed For A Response

 If you are a kid....say ages of ten to eighteen...and you have some teacher or person of authority asking you a question you can't answer.....here is how you respond.

You look intently at the person...give them 10 seconds of silence, and respond....'I grew up in a middle-class family, middle-class neighborhood, and just RAMBLE on.  

Talk some BS over 'life is unfair but we proceed on'....mixing it with 'they don't really eat dogs and cats in Springfield'....throw in toward the end....say 'all can be well, if we just try harder'.

Moisten your eye a little, and avoid grinning.

If the person acts puzzled.....just repeat the whole statement a second time.

Don't worry....we are a dumbass society, and perfectly capable of accepting statements like this.

Math Chatter

 

I remember this day....around the 6th grade, where the logical way of handling the problem...COULD NOT be explained to a group of 25 kids.  It took maybe 2 or 3 sessions, and then  eight of them had some grasp of the (*-*) problem.

Even 12 sessions later....there were still 10 of us in the room without any idea of how to solve the problem.

I always thought this should be a two-line problem:

(8-5)=X

2 plus 5X = Y

This agenda to disallow 2-line problems?  Well....you'd think it'd make more sense. 

But the other side of this....more than 50-percent of people need a problem to relate to.  This would be like saying the store has apples at x-price and needs to make Y-amount of profit.  

It just always seemed like math teachers were anti-business types and wanted the math equation to avoid any connection to commerce or capitalism.

The end-product?  Well....math should have never been rocket-science.

Just A Humble Thought

 As the smoke clears on 6 November 2024....I generally expect now for Trump to be declared the winner.  Yeah, there will be six states with counting problems, but I suspect those six will clear mostly for Trump.  So the analysis will start up and these five reasons declared as Kamala Harris problems:

1.  Tim Walz was not a plus-up for VP candidate.  Between the goofy behavior, his wife, the military record deal, and handling of the riots in the state....he didn't improve the 'ticket'.

2.  Kamala Harris, in the eyes of roughly 25-percent of American voters....was a unknown.

Other than standing around for 4 years as VP.....a lot of people simply couldn't say much of what she did....which was remarkable.

3.  Flipping Joe Biden to Kamala Harris at the last minute?  This will  be talked  about for decades, and deemed a big mistake.  

Joe should have said back in the fall of 2023.....he was not running, and allowed the primary system to work, as designed.

4.  Whoever in the White House made the decision to allow the economy to go off in a crappy way for the past year or two....deserves some blame.  Same story with the migration  strategy.....they goofed up and allowed problems to mount against Joe Biden and Kamala  Harris.

5.  Finally, starting all these legal matters against Trump....probably was one of the weirdest strategies ever.  

But adding to these situations....the key factor that changed the race?  Twitter being bought by Elon Musk.  You could analyze this a thousand times....and the original crew thinking they could damage Twitter enough that it'd never recover....were remarkably wrong.  In the end, without much thought....they made Elon some Jesus-like character, and he was up to the task.

Intellectual Chatter

 Someone wrote a piece on Twitter, and suggested that a whole generation of fake-intellectuals have grown up in the US, and probably 10-percent of society wants to impress you with their fake intellectualism.

I've been pondering over this idea since I read this idea last week.

The idea is that these people went through high school in the past 25 years....most attempted to go through college....maybe a quarter of them dropped out by the end of the first year....still thinking they were 'gifted' and still tried to impress the public.  The rest?  They sharpen their chatter...wanting to get you bought into their BS.

I grew up in the rural south and we always had a couple of gentlemen in the area who read US News and World Report, National Geographic, the Nashville Banner, Argosy magazine, and Life.  On their porch, they represented this weird form of intellectualism.  These are guys who hadn't gone off to college, or read Plato, or studied Roman history, or could give you more than one paragraph on evolution (if they got onto this....was the Scoops Monkey trial).  

These porch guys were generally 'IT'.....they were fake-intellectuals but you felt  somewhat impressed by the chatter.

My problem  with the current crowd....the ones who appear on NPR, Fox, CNN or MSNBC....is that  you feel like they don't even measure up to the porch-guys.  You get four minutes of 2-star BS.....there's no real convincing argument, and your finger is angling toward the MUTE-button constantly.

Yeah, I sorta miss the porch crowd.  They at least read their material and could give you a decent 2-minute argument. 

So this brings me to the population problem.....that we have around 30-million intellectuals in America....of which....probably 90-percent are fake-intellectuals and just wasting your time on their chatter.  You'd like to hit mute, but sometimes it's your neighbor, or your co-worker, etc.  

It's an odd problem....but it's not worth getting all stressed out about.  On the fortunate side?  Well....there's just one Elon.....not 10-million Elons. 

The Problem in Bringing in 20-Odd Thousand Haitians

 I sat and pondered upon this yesterday.

Of all cultures in the world....Haiti is this one odd group....where the average IQ of an adult is 75 (Americans are at 98).  Just for the record, in case you were wondering....engineers are at 115 (average).

So, if you were a gov't guy and figured...what-the-hell....I'll bring into a community of 60,000 residents.....20,000 Haitians, who are marginally functional (figure the word half-wit fits)....how do things progress in the next decade?

Can the typical  Haitian drive a car....if his IQ is 75?

Can the typical Haitian work in a plant or factory....if the IQ level is 75?

Most Haitians only speak Creola (French-based language)....the odds of 20,000 easily picking up English...if the IQ level is a problem?

Its a funny problem and with serious consequences over the next decade.

Q-and-A

 1.  What happens with the accusation that ABC News rigged up the debate with Trump/Harris?

Well....there is a affidavit to say ABC quietly agreed to truth-challenge Trump (not Harris)....an that Harris knew the extent of some questions to be asked.  This is from an insider to ABC.

If the Trump crew challenges this in court....there's problems for ABC if a 2nd witness comes out and agrees to the basic problems.

ABC would lose profit, and face some minor consequences.  

Hard to imagine they'd be this stupid (meaning management).

2.  This second shooter on Trump?  Based off what I read this AM....he's a pretty naive guy....mostly pro-Ukraine and pro-Harris.  Jail-time?  He's going to end up with 20 years easily.

Funny part to this story?  He was a recruitment guy for Ukraine.....trying to talk Americans into going over and fighting for them (at least in 2023).

Other funny thing?  Well....FBI says they are investigating this....but state of Florida said it's on their soil, and they will have their own investigation going on.  FBI might actually have to put some effort into this now.

3. Has Russia now lost as many men in the Ukraine-war....as the US lost in WW II?

Well....Russia doesn't really say the numbers, but if you accept Brit analysis of the war....yeah, they've passed the losses of the US for WW II.
