Just Humble Observations

1.  Where is the stock market in 100 days?

If you had $100,000 invested back in January....it was probably hitting $72,000 back three weeks ago, and near $88,000 right now today.

Just me saying this, but I think most business operations will be open in the next two to three weeks, and the stock market will settle.  At the 100-day point, you might be near $94,000 of value, and slide through the rest of the year near that....with dividends coming in.

Here's the thing, under a poor President, with high negativity by the news people....your situation would be twice as bad, and it'd be three years before you even got back to the $90,000 level.  The bad news here is that your 401k plan did take a hit, and it's part of the long-term goal to just keep playing.

2.  Will this idiot governor for Michigan get 'recalled'?

Yeah....it's a pretty sure bet at this point.

The sad thing for her....had she just paid attention and done just a couple of things....she would have been a noted figure for 2024 or 2028.  Now?  If recalled....she's finished.

3.  Whats with all this ID chatter?

Some idiot wants to believe that people (they never specify who or where they are) don't have an ID.

So, you take Alabama (3,765,887 adults in the state in 2020, new Census figures).  There are 15,500 folks (2013 numbers, average) sitting in Alabama prisons.....so they don't have an ID (we can pretend that).  That leaves us with 3,750,000 folks left who are over 18 and ought to have an ID of some type.

So you go to the belly of the 'beast' (Birmingham) and wander around....to find around 400 folks there who are mostly homeless and frankly don't need an ID.  Throughout the rest of the state?  Maybe 1,600 more folks.

The bulk of the state....99.9-percent of people, probably have a ID of some type.  If you wanted to make this interesting, for folks who don't have a license.....offer up a free state ID, and then offer folks a $10 Bar-B-Q coupon as a free part of the deal.

Yeah, this is mostly all BS chatter to say folks don't have an ID.

4.  Any truth that fresh air and natural light stall the virus?

Well.....there's this study done.  They say if you have air flow through a room (like your windows open) and natural light (not bulbs)....it matters.

Now, all of these farmers will tell you the same 'wisdom' and say that's been known for over 200 years.

5.  Are voters getting all chatty about a President who feels their 'pain'?

Sit and pause over this.....you can ask a hundred folks about their 'pain' and get 100 responses.

Some will tell you it's intensely private....thinking you are talking over their hemorrhoid problem, or the spanking they took from the next-door neighbor lady.

Some will tell you it's being handled by a fancy psychological doctor, and mostly dealing with stress or depression.  Their wife ran off, or their dog died recently.

Some will confess through four beers about their 'pains' and you will eventually wish you hadn't asked.

Then finally, you might find five guys who just wish the President could feel their 'pain', but they think he's too involved with lusty stuff with the wife, or he just can't understand problems like Hillary could have.

Yeah, when some dimwit reporter talks like this 'pain' thing....he's mostly on a BS topic.

6.  Can most Americans spell Hydroxychloroquine?

NO.

7.  Do you ever get fed up with the reporters at the White House Press Conference?

No, but I wish that Trump had a button on the podium and if he hit it.....some sidedoor would open up and two clowns would emerge and toss a cream pie at some CNN reporter.

8.  Is there any chance that meth or opioids are selling at a lesser rate right now?

No one is suggesting that.  Begs the question of where folks have the money, and the higher risk factor of dying, from the virus and meth use.

9.  Is there such a thing as 'essential'?

Some folks would suggest that NCAA football is essential.  Some would suggest that casinos are essential.  Some would suggest that churches are not essential.  Some would suggest that Starbucks is not essential.  Seems to me that this is a terrible thing to get into a discussion about, unless you got a bottle or two of gin as we discuss the matter.

10.  Are we now finally all done with the Biden-Burisma 'chatter'?

Well.....NO.  If you follow the Senate talk.....there's going to be a reported issued on Burisma in mid-summer.  At the very least....Hunter will look look like a used-car salesman acting as a CEO of a typewriter company.  I doubt if Joe comes out of this report looking good.

However, within six weeks after that report.....then we will be done completely and no one in five years will remember the word 'Burisma' and Hunter will be some reality-TV star in the hills of Idaho.

Just Humble Observations

1.  Isn't this idiotic that Bush political strategist Rick Wilson is now endorsing Joe Biden, who he dumped upon for almost an entire decade?

Well....no one is really asking Rick for advice.....nor does he appear much on TV.  So if you wanna be noticed.....you gotta say something crazy.

2.  Is 'Doctor Doom' on his way out?

I expect the news conferences to lessen by the end of next week (maybe three per week) and he'll disappear entirely by the end of May....back to his job, and probably retire by the end of 2020.  If Trump disliked the guy....he'd be fired already.

3.  Do police need to monitor church parking lots, and take tag numbers?

Maybe it's just me, but I think you could lay off 40-percent of the police in the nation and get the same level of response and security, with less cost involved.  All this tag-number 'taking'....just makes them look like some 5th-grade pretender cops.

4.  Any truth to higher pollution rates triggering higher infection rates of the virus?

Yes.  And this ought to trigger you to ask if NY City has air pollution that folks haven't ever chatted much about.

5.  Wouldn't it have been better for the Democrats if Twitter had never been invented?

One can take a long speculative look at how Twitter helps to pass 'come-backs' by GOP/Trump enthusiasts around, and it's sharpened the the Trump-machine to absolute maximum level.

6.  Is there anyone left who cares about celebrity opinions?

I know the people in Hollywood, and New York think otherwise, but we are at a point where three-quarters of the nation frankly.....don't give a damn....about what 'such-and-such' says on politics, the environment, the economy, or technology.  They should stick to their show or movie-traffic, and try to stay sober and 'clean'.

7.  What is the real average on toilet paper usage?

Science people analyze this kind of issue, and they say a house with 2.5 people uses around 409 rolls  per year.  Frankly, I find that a bit excessive.   But if you use this number.....then you need to purchase 40 rolls every single month.

8.  How screwed up is the Postal Service, during this virus period?

It's like one of those Scooby-Doo mystery episodes.....you really don't know.  They claim if just 10-percent of the employees gets the virus....all of the functions would start to fall apart.  Some say that if a single day was not achieved on the mail-delivery system.....massive chaos would reign across America.

Could we go to a four-day-a-week delivery, and have the service people open the Postal Center on Saturdays (all-day)?  Most folks say they'd have no problem.

If there was some 'gift' to keep them afloat.....how much would be necessary?  Three-billion?  That's why the whole seems more like Scooby-Doo than a real business operation.

9. What's the main difference between the way in Germany that people reacted, and the way in the US that people have reacted?

Well....around 50-percent of Americans refuse to participate or play by ban-rules. Then the same crowd brings up the Constitution, and starts talking 'rights'.  You just don't have that type of chatter in Germany.

10.  Is there going to be a 'bailout-program' for the news media folks in this next package that the House develops?

Some people say in a strong way....yes.  It might go up into the 500-million range.  Evidence or facts?  Almost none.  It's just chatter.  The problem is that people in general (going on for a decade now) are reading less in terms of newspapers or magazines.  They are also cutting out CNN in a big way and the 3 major networks to a lesser degree.  The question to ask here.....if the trend continues after the virus goes away......will there be a second, third and fourth bailout-program going on.....for decades?

Why The 1920 Election Matters Today

There are three big and negative events that occur in 1918/1919, and the nation is faced with the Wilson administration leaving.

The Democratic Party choice?  James Cox, governor of Ohio, and the VP was FDR (yes, shocking that you don't hear much about this).

The three events that put Cox into a difficult spot?  First, the war....which Wilson had promised that it would never occur.  Second, the Spanish Flu situation had terrified the nation.  Third, a recession had started up in 1919, and lingered on into 1920.

The Cox/FDR team could not sway the public, and the GOP choice.....Harding and Coolidge easily won (37 states, 404 EC votes).  Cox/FDR were only able to take 11 states and 34-percent of the national vote.

In this present situation, it's hard to see anyone giving economic balance to the Democratic Party and bringing people out of the virus period.  For this reason, I think Trump will go the route of Coolidge.

Trump's Action

It's not page one news, or even page five news.....but on Friday of last week....President Trump sent out a memo to the Homeland Security Secretary (Chad Wolf).

The memo basically says that when a deportee has been refused by his home country to return.....Wolf is to notify the State Department, and from that point on....no visas will be issued to people from that country (for any reason).

No educational visas, no tourist visas, nothing.

What'll happen now?  It'll take six months for this to sink in.....as various individuals from wealthy families typically would arrange for 'junior' to attend college or the wife takes her 10-day shopping trip to NY City.....it'll be refused.  Then these folks will ask their government what the deal is about.

Somewhere along the middle of 2021, I expect a number of deportees waiting in line to return to their home-country.....to suddenly get notified to prepare for the trip back home.

In simple terms, this should have been done twenty years ago.

Remembering the Timeline

In case the news people ever get you confused, just remember:

- The House Impeachment articles were passed on 18 December 2019.

- The articles were not taken to the Senate until 16 January 2020.

- The Senate got procedural rules on 20 January 2020.

- The opening of the Impeachment hearing started on 22 January 2020.

- The Q and A session in the Senate started on 28 January 2020.

- On 5 February 2020, the hearing was concluded, and the charges 'dumped'.

You might have various news journalists attempt to confuse you.....so just remember the timeline.  But let's remember the virus timelines here:

- It's on 31 December that China says there's a serious virus at work in Wuhan.....to the WHO.

-  On 3 January, the CDC boss reacted and sent a email to the Chinese CDC operation....offering help.

- On 6 January, the CDC (not the WHO) ordered up a Wuhan travel notice.

- On 7 January, the CDC opened a incident system to share and respond on data.

- On the 11th of January....the CD issued a Level I travel warning on Wuhan.

- On 17 January, the CDC started having public screening at US airports that had travelers from Wuhan arriving (3 airports nationally).

- On the 20th of January, Doctor 'Doom' announced a NIH effort was underway for a vaccine.  This is 3 weeks from the day that China admitted there was a problem.

- On 23 January, the CDC asked for a “special emergency authorization” via the FDA.  This was to ensure states could use the new test for the virus.

- On 27 January, President Trump sent an offer to the Chinese President.....asking if they needed help.

- On 27 January, the CDC issued a major warning to all Americans to avoid all nonessential travel to China due to the virus.

- On 27 January, a White House Coronavirus Task Force started up.

- On 31 January, the White House declared a public health emergency.  With this came a complete China travel restriction and suspended entry into the United States for foreign nationals who pose a risk of the virus.  With that came a halt to all flights from China into the US, with only seven airports allowed to conduct some type of travel arrangement.

- 6 February, the CDC-tests were shipped out across the nation.

- 12 February, thirty countries got the US kits.

- On 11 March 2020, the WHO declared a Pandemic.  One can argue that evidence existed in early February for this declaration.  But it really didn't matter.

If you receive any suggestion to the otherwise, it's fake news.

Just Humble Advice That I Hand Out

1.  Did the Surgeon General really utter 'Pop-pop' and 'Big Mama'?

Yes.  But lets be honest, the guy is black, and in the black community....you use certain phrases.  It's the same way in the Latino community, the redneck community, and the Beverly Hills community.  The reporter who got all hyped about this....probably hasn't been around a real black community in twenty years.

2.  Is there anything to really discuss about this 'red-pill' versus 'blue pill' stuff?

Basically, this is a trend where you wake up as a true Democrat, get some tingly feeling, then feel lied to (to some degree) and just admit to your barber, wife, neighbor, or fake-Facebook friends that you got 'turned', and now can vote for Trump.  The phrase used is 'red-pill'.

Are there Republicans who, who got all tingly and took the 'blue-pill'?  Some, but it appears (my numbers) that there are around 100 red-pill folks for each one single blue-pill people.  Either the Democratic message is marginal, or the Republicans are asking too many questions.

3.  What should I do with my Corona-money from the Feds?

Spend it....wisely.  Don't spend it on wild women, booze, or weed.

4.  I'm standing in a NY City where nurses are wearing garbage bags for protection.....what's wrong with this?

Well....the hospital has a logistics guy who marginally does his job and probably ought to be dismissed.  On the other hand, this might have been one of twelve signals that you need to call up cousin Lonny and have him pick you up....transporting you overnight to Ohio, where 'care' is much better.  Promise Lonny a portion of your Corona-check.

5.  Did the NY Times really print a story describing our current condition as being in a 'dystopia' (meaning an imaginary period of sorrow/woe with suffering throughout the landscape and things are almost in a apocalyptic situation).....thus requiring socialism as the 'cure'?

Yeah.

Folks in California would suggest that the writer for the Times might be on a pretty good weed trip and having consumed a fair amount of gin.

6.  Should I bet on the House of Representatives opening up for business in May?

No.  I think a quarter of them (especially over the age of 50 and having a unhealthy lifestyle)....are a bit fearful of attending meetings or hearings.  I might also suggest that the House won't be open until after election-day.

7.  Does anyone remember impeachment?

That's the funny thing.  If you were to bring in a hundred folks and do a current events quiz.....at least a quarter of the group have forgotten the impeachment already, and by November....probably up around 70-percent will have forgotten.

8. This Australian 'miracle' pill deal.....what's the deal with it compared to Trump's 'miracle' pill?

Well....around four decades ago, because of a number of folks having headlice problems in Australia (don't ask why).....they developed this compound and made it into a pill.  Oddly, if you hand out two day's of the dosage...in the bulk of folks with the Coronavirus.....you wipe out the virus (no, not 100-percent but the numbers appear like 95 percent) by the third day.

Naturally this begs questions.  The original virus leads back to bats.  Is there a possibility that the bats have a lice issue?  No one talks much about that, but you have to wonder....if Bat-lice are really the culprit here.

9.  Is the virus triggering financial problems with the Post Office folks?

Well....the Post folks have been in dismal financial issues for several decades, and rates keep climbing....with the Feds giving some cash to make up the difference.

Trump might say fine....here's some cash, but I want you guys to operate ONLY four days a week.  This might trigger a huge Democratic backlash.

10.  If there is a second Corona-check issued....how much should it be for?

I propose a $15,000 voucher-card which you have ten days after receiving.....to have spent.   In reality, I expect another $1,200 per person to occur in mid-June.

11.  Is it true that Boston went and created one-way sidewalks, and you get tickets if you fail to walk the right way?

Yeah, it's true.

12.  Is this new slogan by Trump (".....invisible enemy") a bit crazy?

He started to tweet it a week ago and you see it mentioned at least once or twice a day.  Let's be honest.....Corona is not your 'friend'.

13.  Are mute-buttons across America being worn out during this period?

I would imagine at least thirty times a day....folks are hitting the mute-button.  About half the time that Doctor Doom appears, I hit mute now.  With Joe Biden....it's near 90-percent mute for me.

14.  Whats with this Surgeon General that Trump has (Doctor Adams)?

The guy is brilliant and articulate.  He connects to regular people, and gets to the point.  Whoever is running in 2024 for President....ought to strongly considering bringing this guy along as VP.

15.  Can city or state officials shut down churches?

They can instruct a church to offer social distance rules....meaning a 500-seat church would be limited to probably 150 folks.  They could suggest a out-door situation where you drive up....stay in the car.....getting a radio-speech (short distance) from the minister.  But to purely shut it down or hand-out tickets?  No....the Constitution didn't offer waivers for the government (federal, state or local) to 'control' things.  In this case, it's merely getting people angry enough to vote against the mayor or governor (oddly, they are all Democrats that I've read on so far).

16.  Any truth to this rumor that the Steele guy who wrote the Trump Dossier is hooked to the Russians?

Well, here's the thing that stands out as a fact.  The FBI reached some point of wanting to assign a value to the dossier and needed to know background on Steele.  So after they asked the CIA folks.....the problem came back that they knew in a absolute sense that Steele was connected to various Russian characters and they didn't give him much of a value (at the CIA level).

In simple terms....they knew that too much of his info was 'misinformation'.  So this should have soured the FBI guys enough to drop the whole thing.....yet they didn't drop it.

At this point, the AG has to decide.....are these FBI guys that STUPID, or just corrupted?  Either way, you'd have to either fire them, or put them under major supervision for the next five to ten years.

17.  Was there a memo in January that came out to the White House to warn of severe consequences because of Corona?

This is debated.  Someone handed the info to a insider to the Trump circle, and he inserted a brief paragraph into a memo.  Where he got the info.....is a debate item.  How many memos are created and forwarded to the President is also debated.  To be honest, there might be fifty pages of text written daily and most Presidents simply don't have the time to analyze these memos to the degree required.

Then you come to the 'what if' question....if he had read this and analyzed this completely.....we would have shutdown all air-travel back in mid-January....to everywhere and freaked out the House and Senate crowd, and had all journalists hyped-up that this was totally unnecessary.  You win some.....you lose some.

18.  Did Iceland actually test 10-percent of their population on the virus?

Yes.  But with a population of 364,000.....it's not a big deal.  So what they found is this one simple fact.  Fifty-percent of the tested group had results of 'positive', YET showed no symptoms.  So it begs the question....will there suddenly be some massive showing in five to fourteen days of the virus in Iceland?  Or will there be a large segment who have a cough and minor ailment.....never realizing that was the full impact of the virus.

19.  What's it really mean if the AMC theater-chain goes bankrupt?

Well, it's a big argument here.  Lets say they fully close down in the next month.  At the current pace of things, I don't expect theaters to really re-open in April or May.  Even in the summer months.....the threat of the virus will be there.

So I'm expecting a lot of the AMC operations to never re-open.  You may find by September that fifty-percent of all theaters across the nation are wiped out and non-operational.

Some type of new public delivery system will likely occur by Xmas, with people staying home and watching a streaming service.

20.  Did the Surgeon General really tell blacks not to drink, do drugs, or smoke?

Well.....yeah.  Don't worry.....99-percent of blacks will laugh over the suggestion and continue on.  They aren't that crazy.

Just Humble Advice I Hand Out

1. There's a rumor that Corona is a Chinese-virus which only kills 'infidels'.   True?

Well, some Islamic women over in Kurdistan have been told this by some Mullah, and they've pumped out the advice that it only kills non-Islamic folks.  Just me saying this.....but it sounds like some retired CIA guy decided to create a fake 'fact' and speed up the death count of Muslims.

2.  The head guy of the WHO is NOT a doctor?

Yep, shocker huh?  It'd be like putting a Tulsa barber in charge of the Fed, or hiring up a new CEO for Ford who was a Briggs and Stratton mower mechanic.

3.  The Philippines on a average Easter weekend....would have a fair number of pretender-Crucifixions.  Will those occur on schedule?

No.  Nation-wide order because of the virus....no fake-Crucifixions.  However, Flagellation's are still on the approved list and may continue.

4.  'Most' Americans to get their Corona-check by Friday of next week?

Well, that's a substantiated rumor that the government stands by.  Basically....they are saying if you had your bank-account tied to your last tax submission.....your check will arrive.  Otherwise?  You might be talking about several weeks.  If you didn't submit any tax paperwork over the past year.....you might have an issue.  The possibility that a dead-guy will get a Corona-check?  If you passed away in the past three months, it's pretty good odds that the check will appear in the account.  Some of you dead folks will be kicking yourself.....you didn't get the $1,200 in time to spend it on something wasteful.

5.  Was that Army field hospital erected in Washington state a waste of time and effort?

The Army folks will readily admit that it was a damn good exercise and everyone had a good time for two weeks....waiting for customers.  Other than that....yeah, it was a waste of effort.

6.  Fizzing as a symptom?  What the hell is fizzing?

Well.....there's a list of lesser symptoms for the virus, which include loss of smell or loss of taste.  Some NY people are saying they had this unusual symptom.....like you stuck your finger into a 110-volt socket and got a 5-percent dose of a discharge.  A tingling would be the best description.

Noticed in Wuhan, Spain or Italy?  No.  So I kinda lean toward this being physiological suggestive symptom that some CIA guy started around NY City.....to see if enough people would latch onto this fake symptom and pass it around until the NY Times or NY Post printed the story.

7.  Did Doctor Doom actually suggest a 'certificate of immunity' saying that you had the virus, and therefore are 'clear'?

Yeah, he did suggest this.  Who would issue this?  It hasn't been answered yet.  Would fake certificates start to exist?  Probably so.  Cost factor?  I'll bet on $125.  Course, your veterinarian could probably write the note and sign and stamp it with the same prestige for $35 (note, your dog might even get a 'worming' with the $35 deal).

8.  Is it true that nudists in Europe were told it's ok to be on the beach, but they need to wear face masks?

Yeah, but only in Czech.  Some folks are asking if your lacking tan around the mouth will be obvious.

9.  Is this vote-by-mail idea going to take off?

I would forecast that twenty states will have it up and running by November.....oddly all of the states that Hillary carried in 2016.  I will also predict that all twenty will have lawsuits going on because ballots failed to arrive, or non-residents were allowed to vote.

The bigger deal is that more than 10,000 dead folks (by the Coronavirus) will have voted even though they've been dead for more than 90 days prior to the election.

10.  Are models that corrupted or screwed-up?

Listen, intellectual folks and PhD wizards get honored each and every year for creating fantastic models.....that say something (maybe not the truth).

There are folks who are already modeling up the NFL season approaching and saying the Cowboys will have the best team in the past two decades.

The blunt truth is that you don't live your life by a model.  If you were lucky enough to be married to some gal who bakes muffins from scratch, mows the yard in a shapely bathing suit, never says a word about your bad habits, and allows you an extra slice of bacon each morning....it wasn't a model that gave you such 'luck'.
