My Gut-Feeling Over Eric Swalwell

I believe if you go back to Eric...at age 15....he was bumping up against girls, and doing lots of stupid crap, but never seemed have police involved.

I think he went  to college....and did the same thing.

I think he went to the House, and did the same thing.

How many women did he hook up with?  Probably over a thousand, and half of them probably didn't appreciate the hook-up.

What he does now...if the House kicks him out?  Well....that's the big question.

Run for office?  Maybe as some mayor?

Yes, I Was A Burn-Bag Guy

Around the summer of 1981....after intel-school for the Air Force....I arrived at Barksdale  (Louisiana) and one of my five primary duties....was burn-bag handler.  So in the back of the vault....we kept this pile stashed away, and about every eight weeks....dragged them all down to the burner in the rear of the building.

It was crappy work (you hated August most of all for the heat).  You typically started around 9 AM, and by 11 AM....it was mostly burned, and you were raking ashes to dump.  You'd go through two Mountain Dews.

In 84/85....it was mostly a shredding experience.....every 8 weeks....about four hours with two other folks.  At some point, the big burn occurred, where we had around 150 bags of plastic crap and they wanted it burned at the Landstuhl medical facility (med-waste).

In Panama, for 86/87/88?  We had a half-ass burn unit which worked sometimes....and sometimes not.  Two of us would be standing there in the noon-heat.....both sipping a beer or two...until the burn was done.

By 1994, I was noted at a rank where the burn-experience was not required.

Five Thoughts

 1.  I've come to the point of believing that at best....Kamala Harris had a IQ of probably 80-to-85....meaning she was borderline. How she got through college?  She was able to impress her instructors in some fashion.

2.  Some Iranians have Star-Link (Elon's stuff) and can communicate with the outside world.  I noted over the weekend....commentary to indicate that only half of ATMs in Iran function....but there's typically a limit of 15-to-20 dollars in local currency coming out. Cash-flow in Iran is now at a harsh level.

3.  A couple of Demo states looking at taxing folks as they leave/exit.  Just suspect....some folks are just going to up and disappear....without saying anything much.

4.  Noted over the weekend....some new App invented....'talking-to-Jesus'.  You'd hook up, for about a dollar-per-minute....have a chance to converse with Jesus.  Not saying if it's legit or not.....but it might be a trend (talk-to-Moses, talk-to-Fred Flintstone, talk-to-Satan).

5.  Noted over the weekend.....Canada says it is preparing the entire country for a major global war that could erupt (shortly).  Who with?  Unknown.  Where funding would come from?  Also unknown.

AI Chatter

I sat and read through a couple of pages of a 'paper' written by two researchers from University of Penn and Boston University.  Title?  "The AI Layoff Trap"..

What they got into....there's layoffs going on....with AI coming to replace the folks.

These laid-off employees used to spend money.  Now?  They don't.

The economy is designed for people to have money....spend money, and not really capable of evolving.

So the companies that laid people off....will likely go bankrupt down the line....because there's cash flow with the economy with no purchasing power. AI certainly isn't going to buy a bass-boat....spend five days in Aruba....or ever need a $88k Ford pick-up.

What the report leads to.....these top level managers have to grasp the situation and  realize the impact approaching. Great quote....."Fire workers.....Lose customers.... Lose revenue.... Collapse."

There's also this other odd 'twist'....if people are eliminated from jobs....purchases decrease....sale tax-revenue starts to crap out....states and cities can't manage their yearly spending, without more new additional taxes.

There's a tidal wave approaching, but it's probably too late to say or do much of anything.

What Was The Movie 'The Arrival' All About?

I've watched the movie two times now.

So the story goes this way:

Aliens have arrived, and shockingly enough....can't get their message across.

American Army brings in this language lady, and they waste about 80-percent of the story....going back and forth.....marginally getting a hundred-odd phrases connected.

The Americans....in total fear....urge killing the threat.

The gal suddenly has the clear message...somehow, the aliens come from 3,000 years in the future, and their world is under some threat (they never say who or how), and only by getting Earth-folks involved and helping them....in 3,000 years....can this alien folks survive.

I paused at this point....thinking, well....how do they know this works?  Seems like  it'd be a guess if Earth-folks were helpful or not.  Seems like it could make the situation twice as bad.

Anyway....that's the final outcome, and you are left to wonder....did we screw it up?

Five Humble Thoughts

 1.  With two or three exceptions....I can't watch NBA basketball anymore.  On average, per game, there's at least twenty 'traveling' violation...which the ref's never call.

2.  Hunter Biden is claiming he is $17-million in debt....no way of ever repaying it.

3. You just sit and wonder....four years of the Biden-crew, and zero interest in Epstein or the files.

4.  I asked Grok (AI) if a recession is existing in the US.

It eventually came back and said 'NO'.

The labor market is adding jobs.  GDP growth is going on (slowly).  Various forecasters are saying a trend is seen but in late 2026....suggesting the Xmas season may be awful crappy.

The states in a spiral?  Well....California, Illinois, Washington, NY, Michigan.....the states 'owned' and run by the Democratic machine.

The rest of the nation....mostly in positive numbers.

5.  CNN?  It's mostly a sail-boat now....with the sails missing and drifting. The first week of October?  It can't  come soon enough.

Five Humble Thoughts

 1.  Here in 2026.....even though living standards appear to be improving....there's this gut-feeling that overall happiness is in some way....declining.

Or is it a case that the happiness 'scale' is frozen and hasn't moved since the 1980s?

2.  You might want to pay attention to the postal system....it's under one of the biggest crisis's of the past forty years.  This week....they (the bosses) halted pension plan  payments temporarily.  We are at a point where we need a 'Elon'  to revamp the system.

3. Was reading yesterday.....the Federal workforce is smaller today than at any point since 1966. Oddly, we don't seem to be suffering.

4. A normal mid-term election (coming up in 7 months)....revolves around your pocketbook/economy, healthcare (both cost and access), immigration, negative crime numbers, and perceived threats to democracy.

This year?  It'll revolve around five 'other' things: the threat to impeach Trump, marginal accomplishments by the Democratic Party, perceived downward economy in five to ten 'blue' states, crazy political videos shown freely on Twitter, and possible UFO 'truths'.

5.  Ninety percent of society want a lifestyle and landscape that seems to be affordable and proven reliable.

Numbers Story

This AM....I read through a portion of a study....done in 2024, statistics show in the US....1 in 3 adults age 18-34 still live with their parents.

It's done by states, and yeah...Demo-states....dominate the list of highest percentages, while red states are less.

It's an odd problem.

You might have wrapped up community college, or regular college, and found that whatever job prospects you imagined five years ago.....have flatten-out and gone dismal....with rent way out of your league.

So it begs the question.....in 2030....will the numbers in Demo states increase....say to 50-percent?

If you were a 60-year old parent with two of your three kids...in their thirties....still lingering....what's the strategy to get them out?

The other question to ask....did you get really stupid and get a occupation or skill....that won't cover rent or buying a house?

Alien Theory

For about six months....I've been following commentary by Palmer Luckey.

He's a tech-geek....kinda like Elon.  He's also the founder of the defense-technology firm Anduril Industries, who seems to be getting a fair amount attention.

This week....he had an opinion on UFOs/UAPs that he shared.  He says that UFOs come from the past (way back).

He suggests....they are technology from an ancient breakaway civilization that survived some type of cyclical event, and that they are piggybacking on the current civilization....to use us as resources.

Interdimensional aspect....well...yeah....it would connect to that idea.

If it were true....the question is....should we get tangled up into this....helping some group that didn't make it in their time-period?

On my weird theory 'index' (1-to-10)....yeah, this is a solid '10'.

Within this idea....could we be dealing  with both the 'good-guys' and 'bad-guys' at the same time?  Yeah, that came into my mind.

Four Observations

 1.  Around 2023....I was on Ramstein....taking a coffee break in the 'mega' mall.  Two NCOs (early 30s)....were discussing their impending PCS back to the US, and the topic came up....medal action.   Both were getting accommodation medals, and both had seen/read the text.

The one critical comment out of this?  One of the two was getting a medal....where the stuff he did over four years warranted the medal....but 20-percent of the text related to 'crap' he'd done for Covid.  He asked for them (the leadership) to remove that part....but it'd already gotten to the approval point.

I won't use the term....'worthless'....but in some way, he didn't want it on his accomplishments.

2.  I hate to say it....but TV from 1969 to 1973....was probably better than 90-percent of the BS  you see on TV today.

3. I've reached the point where I don't see the UK in the top dozen countries, and by rejoining the EU (now very likely in 2027)....financially-speaking....they probably be at the same level as Greece.

4. This Ghost Murmur tech-crap that the CIA showed off.....tracks people by their heart-beat....not just 10 feet, or  100 ft, or ten miles.

Within ten years....it'll probably be used to note precisely how many people live within each state.

Five Political Observations

 1.  Maybe in California....Gov Newsom's 'act' sells....but if you walked most southern states...it's a joke.

Looking at 2028....limited accomplishments for Newsom, if he is the winner of the primary, it's a downward spiral for his campaign.

2.  AOC for 2028?  Her weakness is debate, and you'd  require a lot of 'fence-mending' by news journalists to explain her word-salat.

3.   CNN was carrying the bulk of brand-selling for the past two decades for the Democratic Party.  If they are neutral now....a new brand-seller must emerge.

4. If Trump dissolves all fed taxes for people making $100,000 or less.....it's an enormous burden to overcome that 'brand'.

5. Thomas Matthew Crooks (Trump-shooter), just curious....not a single news source wants to go and dig into his background/story.

FEMA, Aliens, Teleportation, and the Waffle House

Gregg Phillip....FEMA official (up in the chain) gave a interview...he was on some phone, and BAM....he was picked-up...teleported over to some Waffle House forty miles away.

I watched the interview five or six times.

If you asked me to grade it on 'truth' (1-to-10).....I'd rank it a '3'...mostly because he can't substantiate any of it.

So I went to the destination topic.  If I were dealing with aliens, and they were teleportation-crazy....then yeah, I'd be thrilled to end up at a Waffle House, and probably have the All-Star-Special ($14.99).

But the reality of this....sitting there at the Waffle House....I'd have to call the wife afterwards and ask her to come to pick me up.  She'd have questions....mostly over my drinking or what buddy dropped me off there. The alien-teleportation story wouldn't work.

As you dig into the story....the FEMA guy was sitting in his car....when the teleportation took place (his story).  So you'd  wonder....why didn't the car teleport?

The problem in this story....if you were in Alabama....folks would ask fifty additional questions:

1 Were you traveling on highway 99, between Cider-Town and Harper-Town?

2.  What kind of attire were you wearing....Sunday clothing, or your Braves T-short with shorts?

3.  Did this occur after dark?

4.  After you got there in one-piece....did you praise Jesus?

5.  Did you and the aliens discuss this destination before it took place, or was this just a goofy 'prank' by the aliens?

6.   Was the Waffle House next to a strip-club?

7.  Aren't you fearful that they might teleport you to California (hell-hole of the Earth)?

8.  Did all your 'pieces' arrive with your at the Waffle House?

9.  Were you on some drugs when this took place?

10.  Did you talk to the aliens about teleporting you back home after the breakfast?

Yeah, the story sounds like something you'd make up.

Alien Sex Stories

I paused yesterday....reading over a comment by former Rep. Matt Gaetz.  I originally felt it was a April-fool's story....but came to realize....it was till 31 March....so it's not a 'joke'.

So what he said: “I had someone come and brief me who was in a military uniform, worked for the United States Army, that was briefing me on the locations of hybrid breeding programs where captured aliens were breeding with humans to create some hybrid race that could engage in intergalactic communication".

Yeah....alien-human sex scene.

Alien....being male or female?  Never laid out.

Volunteers from the human side?  Maybe they told Private Jones (Army guy) that he/she was alien-like.  Maybe they didn't mention the alien situation.

Maybe halfway into a liaison.....Private Jones realizes it's a combo situation....the alien is both male and female.

Maybe as Private Jones entered the room....he reassessed the situation...realizing the alien-gal was 9-ft tall, and maybe he was the wrong volunteer.

Maybe the alien-gal was Klingon-warrior-like, and a beasty-type gal.....way too much for mortal men.

After an hour of fantasy-thinking....the reality of this....it's way too much for Private Jones, and I just hope he got a medal for his act, and a week off following the experience to recover.

BS?  Well....I'm from Bama,  and there's probably 300 guys from around the state have alien-sex stories that they tell...of which are totally bogus. It comes from drinking too much and watching Star Trek late at night.

Five Humble Thoughts

 1.  Bob Lazar, the Area-51/UFO 'talker'.....I've reached the point where I think he's not bogus....most all of what  he says....is probably true.

His IQ? I would assess to 120-to-125.

His most interesting 'talk'....well, he gets into how he was hired (that guy met a unfortunate 'end'.

2. Just about every German has this mental image of 'clan-warfare'....where non-Germans fight other non-Germans.

3.  It's just odd....so many white fragile folks....who have an anxiety problem....if they walk into a store, and it's 100-percent whites in the store already.

4.  I've come to a point where I equate TPUSA.....as a carnival side show.

5.  There ought to be one single federal budget, and if you fail by 1 October to approve it (Congressional vote)....then everyone's pay (House and Senate, their staff)...ought to stop completely.

My Thoughts On This NO-KINGs BS

I watched the German news last night.....they wanted me to know about the great success with the hate-Trump/NO-KINGs stuff.

The problem in telling this story?  Well....as you look at DC and its staging....I do agree that around 20,000 folks appeared there.

In Alabama?  State sources mostly argue....a couple of groups appeared....maybe forty to eighty in each group. State-wide?  They might have had 800-to-1,000.

For most states....they were like Alabama.

I noted that one guy mingled with the DC group....at the conclusion...his group met up with the bus, and some guy came to collect signs.  Then he paid them....appeared in that case....for four to five hours....they got around $600 each.  They got on the bus and rode home.

Odd factor?  Well.....images from DC and other locations....NO blacks....just mostly white retirees...in their 60s/70s.  That was also seen in the German video...although their 'talker'  didn't really notice that.

I'll say this....if I were retired and you came to offer me a 18-hour bus/demonstrate deal....free breakfast ($20) at a Waffle House, $600 cash, and free supper ($20)...yeah, I'd hold a sign.   But the max I'd ride is 6 hours (say 400 miles max). I'd also have to be assured of toilets, and no rain.

The attempt by the German news to say this was a big-deal?   Well....NO.  Just saying its a big deal....I'm not that stupid to believe that BS.

As for Trump flipping this around as a clown-show?  Yeah, he has pretty much done that.

Yeah, it's all a comedy show at this point.  Maybe on the next Saturday deal....guys could mingle in with NO-QUEENs signs.

Seven Things Likely To Unfold By The End Of 2026

1.   Iran will collapse....with Trump declaring victory.  Within six months of this event....the US does a drawdown of troops in NATO.

2.  Oil will drop to around $60/barrel.

3.  Interest rates will be cut 3 times.

4.  As late-night comedy shows dissolve away....no one seems to really miss them.

5.  With the exception of the west coast....unemployment will drop below 4%.

6.  Republicans will win mid terms.  Figure a shift of 30 Democratic seats....flipped, and at least three Senate seats.

7.   At least ten small airports are ordered shutdown by President Trump...over the TSA crisis (still unresolved).  Oddly, all ten are in Democratic districts.

Hugging Story

I wrote this originally in 2018...about eight years ago.

My brother and I got into a discussion over a marginally serious event in the Alabama home-town....over excessive hugging, which got the local non-Alabamian doctor arrested on charges.

The gals being hugged....felt it was overly dramatic and maybe borderline 'wrong'.  The country prosecutor apparently accepted their version and so....some version of a court case will open up over lusty hugging versus general hugging.

Generally, I would take the position that the less hugging you do....the better off you are, but some folks think that a hug-a-day is Ok.....unless you grab ahold of someone in some inappropriate way.  In Alabama, we don't really have regulations  over hands in the middle of a hug.

But my brother keyed into the topic that we'd be better off if the local channel (WHNT) ought to have a Doctor Phil type program that takes on Alabama topics.

I paused over this.  The problem is that most Alabama folks have a variety of problems that might shock folks nationally, and the Alabama Doctor Phil might be pretty weird.

For example....we have a lot of veterinarians in Alabama, and they've all got four-star stories over critters, fallen mules, killer-cows, and hunting dogs.  They'd take up a number of these local Dr Phil shows.

Then we have fallen Baptist ministers....who huffed on some magic 'smoke' and did some indecent acts with the Wurlitzer organ lady at the church.  Or they went to some conference in Tampa and got caught with a guy in ladies clothing.  Or they fell into some demon spell and hooked up with a Beverly Hills ventriloquist lady who does a sermon-episode with puppets.

We also have NCAA obsessive folks who spend near $6,000 a year on personal attendance at various games (sometimes as far away as Texas), and chat only on NCAA football.

We also have former female high school associates that suddenly show up twenty-five years after graduation and want to let you know that they've been obsessed with you ever since the senior year, and they are finally free of that idiot husband that they dumped.  You kinda stand there and admit after three minutes....you don't remember them or their name.  They'd like to talk to Dr Phil about this problem now.

We also have those folks who've gotten into some obsession about Mennonites, often dressing up to look like them, and using Mennonite-language accents.....while driving modern cars and violating the general standards of the group.  In simple terms, they just want to look fake-Mennonite.  They could probably go to the WHNT Dr Phil and talk about their problem.

There's also those folks who woke up one morning after being a Democrat for thirty years of their life and suddenly jabber away that they feel 'changed'.....like they could possibly vote for Trump.  They've talked this over with neighbors who think they've suffered a stroke or had some emotional breakdown.

Finally, you've got those Alabama folks who approach age fifty-five and start talking about this wild idea of moving to Alaska or Idaho.  You, as a concerned relative or neighbor, want to get them some special help, and maybe this Alabama-style Dr Phil could get them back into the right state of mind.

Yeah, we probably need such a Dr Phil.

The Sage Guy

Generations ago, when Greeks held 90-percent of the wisdom on the face of the Earth (so they'd often brag)....you had these guys walking around who were Sage thinkers.  They were different from philosophers.

Plato tried to explain the difference the two guys (sagists and philosophers).  The sage people had what the philosophers were already seeking.....but then he kinda left this on the table.....never explaining what exactly the sage folks had in the first place.

In simple terms....sage folks weren't that interested or thrilled with knowledge, facts, or wisdom.  In some ways, they figured that this kinda cluttered up the details part of a mess.

Plato went on to write up a piece on sages.....saying in Theaetetus, that sage folks were 'righteous, holy and wise'.  The suggestion was....they were set to make good and sensible decisions.  You were supposed to listen to them.

In this time period (going back 2,000 years) sages were typically the folks that you turned to in the village or city....to describe a serious problem going on, and then generally ask for advice.  It really didn't mean that they were book-smart, successful businessmen, clever at math or science, or extremely moralistic.  It's just that they could look at a problem.....ask a few questions, and then offer a middle-of-the road opinion about how to proceed.

Yes, they were a bit stoic in nature, susceptible to intense reasoning 'pains', and prone to offer up a blunt opinion about folks with the problems.

If you stand view things in modern society, we have an awful lot of fake sages.  They'd like for you to believe their wit, and problem-solving abilities.  Pretenders at all of the general sage abilities?  Probably so, and they don't mind a bit of gossip about themselves, or their future.

Virtually every single night on some network, some sage guy is appearing and offering up his advice on such-and-such problem.

Your problem?  In all of Greece, a thousand years ago....there might have been forty-odd sage guys.  Today, just in the US?  There might be 40,000 sage guys, and 99-percent of them are fakers.

So beware.

Army Bootcamp At Age 43?

I sat and read a piece yesterday.....it's  been on my mind.

The Army wrote a new regulation....you can enter Army bootcamp up to age 42.

I tried to imagine....me at age 40 (I was still in decent shape....running 4 miles a week, and spending three morning at the gym)....signing  up for Army bootcamp.  But that was my Air Force period. If I were farmer-status....I doubt if I could handle the fitness requirement.

How many plus-35-year-old guys will sign up?  I would guess a couple hundred guys....maybe more women than guys.

The thing is.....you'd approach age 60....retire for 50-percent of your pay, and four years later...pick up social security.

The Rubio

"We in America have no interest in being polite and orderly caretakers of the West's managed decline."

- Marco Rubio

'Fake-intellectual' equals 'polite'.....my view.

Trump has removed the speed-control-system to Rubio....where he can say just about anything he desires, and Trump simply grins when he hears what Marco said.  If you gaze around....there's probably seven fantastic Rubio quotes per day.

Thursday, 26 March 2026

Four Observations

 1.  The TSA crap....within about 2 weeks will flip to one of two scenarios....the President will convert all TSA slots to ICE positions, or five to ten minor airports will be shutdown (probably in key Democratic districts).

In either case...Dems will be freaked out and end the crisis.

2. People freaking out about a  $4/gallon of gas, but standing in line for a $8 latte at Starbucks.  Make sense out of that.

3.  Reading through some news pieces.....early 2024....U.S. intercepted Ukraine government messages discussing plot to route money to Biden re-election (before he  exited the race).

4.  Between 180,000 and 300,000....religious instructors are in Iran.  Basically....they have to 'go'....so it's curious, where will they end up?

Tuesday, 24 March 2026

Six Crazy Things

 1.  Looking over five states and their taxation plans (Cal, OR, WA, IL, and NY)....it's obvious that sports teams in these states are about to 'dumped' upon....with four-star players mostly saying no to future contracts.

Teams like the Angels, Padres, Giants and Dodgers?   Screwed.

2.  The topic rarely came up in the 1970s/1980s/1990s....but if you ask folks if there are states which they WON'T move to....more than 50-percent of folks will list five to ten states of which they can't possibly move to.

3.  Someone brought up a growing German issue....that schools used to openly offer free music lessons, and today....don't.

Chief reason?  Well...if you openly offer music....Muslims get offended because they consider it a 'grave' sin.

4.  After viewing the TSA mess (no pay)....I have the solution.

Charge me as I enter the airport for security....$10.  Hand me a voucher for the $10....which I can flip to the bank after Congress resolves the mess, and  pay me the $10 back later.

5.  It just seems odd....bunch of news folks freely admit that Joe Biden was goofy and 'suffering' for four years, and now admit they noticed this.

Someone ought to invent a mental condition....for seeing reality but can't admit it until five years later.

6.  This past month....I've seen various folks freely admit they can't find or resolve their birth certificate situation.  It's like they are mentally handicapped, or freely admitting a IQ level of 65.

Voting Chatter

I noticed a Supreme Court episode yesterday....arguing over 'counting' votes past election day.

Roughly 19 states (Ala  is one)....allow for mail-in votes to be counted after election day.  Some allow a day or two....some allow almost 3 weeks.

1978....I was stationed in West Germany, and we were all told....to vote....do it as early/quickly as possible, and  mail in the ballot at least  seven days prior. The Air Force was flying at least twice a day from Frankfurt....to get ballots to the East Coast.  The warning given....if your ballot didn't get to the state by election  day...it would NOT count.

The key problem in this whole 'count-business' for mail-in-voting?  Well....the postal system.

While stationed at Bitburg (1993)....this topic came up and someone had run a 'test' mail-in.....finding that  a letter mailed on day ZERO....took around 12 days to reach some rural location of Idaho. Course, what they didn't test....if you mailed from  north Idaho...to southern Idaho....it probably took 6 days to reach the end-point.

In Alabama....if you were to mail from your house....to the guy six houses down....the letter gets picked up. Then  it gets dumped into a bag at the local post office, and sent to Birmingham (3 hours away)....then gets checked....to come back to the local area, and then delivered to the neighbor. Amount of time involved?  You can figure a minimum of three days....probably five days if mailed on a Thursday.

My general advice....if you were living overseas....hand the ballot to FEDEX, and feel pretty sure of its arrival in 72 hours.

The court action?  Most folks think the 19 states will be directed to count only up to election day.

My Interest In Economics

At some point in the late 1990s....someone I worked with (in the intel-vault business) had been working on a finance-related degree, and brought in a dozen tapes with Milton Friedman.  I agreed to take to take one of the tapes home for the weekend.

In the end, I had watched all of the dozen tapes they had, and over the next year....I probably consumed four books on pure economics.

If you'd introduced me to Milton Friedman back in 1975 (in high school)?  I might have gone onto some university program....instead of the Air Force

A dull topic?  Oh yeah....but here's the thing....if you make economics into rocket science, it is absolutely crap and boring.  Friedman knew precisely how to relate various topics to the normal guy on the street....continually telling you that it simply wasn't rocket science.

I can sit today and read over agricultural reports, stock market analysis, futures, derivatives, failed banks, and understand the bulk of what is going on.  But here's the odd part of this 'path'....it's after college that I get into this topic, and it's all on a reading/viewing schedule of my own choosing.  Yeah, I've probably near 500 man-hours of my time into it....with no degree earned in the entire process.

Yeah, just a hobby....more or less.

Ten General Rules I'd Suggest In Life

1.  If it feels like indoctrination....it probably is a point you want to find the exit to the room and leave.

2.  There's good beer, and bad beer.  Don't waste time or thirst on crappy beer.

3.  If you are listening to a politician, and after three minutes....nothing much of what they say....makes sense, then mute the rest of the news piece.

4.  If your co-worker isn't married or has never been married....don't seek marriage advice from them.

5.  Some days....just a cup of coffee and a cupcake....will brighten your day.

6.  The quickest way to failure in life.....is just riding the 'wave' and never laying out your path or direction.

7.  Simple debt (say in the $10,000 range) is easy to pay-off.  Massive debt (beyond $50,000)....will drag you along for 10 to 20 years.

8.  If you make something into rocket-science....it's a 50-50 chance that it's not really pure rocket-science.

9.  If you are living in a ghetto-town or ghetto-neighborhood.....making no effort to leave....you must enjoy the lifestyle and trend.

10.  If no road-map exists for where you want to go in life.....make one.

Ten Things I've Noticed in 2026

 1.  If you were hooked into premium coffee places....paying $5 for a 'superior' coffee....the customer base is less.

The 'system' has reached a point where if you were into the coffee and they were charging $6 to $7....folks won't buy the product.

Same for burgers....pizza....ice cream...etc.

2. All this TSA-non-payment-of-salary.....it will reach a point where they quit, and airports start to shutdown.

If you asked me on timing...I'd say the first airport is probably about 10 days away.

By mid-April?  I'd assume five  to ten airports marginally operating.  If you said I needed to be at the airport six hours prior to the flight to get 'checked-out'....I'm not flying. I suspect 80-percent of people are this way.

3.  AOC spoke up this weekend and said: Republicans are "radicalizing and exploiting young boys" and pushing them towards a "masculinity that requires the domination of others who are poorer, browner, darker, or a different gender than them."

I paused over it....to be honest....young boys have been radicalized for twenty centuries minimum.

Also, to be honest....if you were a dumbass, or low-IQ person.....you probably were begging for someone to exploit you.

4.  If you wanted any medical procedure, and talked-up the idea of 'cash'....not insurance paperwork-crap....about 90-percent of clinics/doctors....would be willing to talk and discuss 50-to-60 percent off....if you charged it to your credit-card or paid them in cash.

5.  I am convinced...within two years....one out of ten folks (mostly those ages 15-to-20)....will always ask AI if a decision has to be made.  AI will have to support the idea....or they won't do it.

I'm not saying its a bad thing....but risk-taking is going to collapse like a rock.

6.  Just a gut-feeling....those upper-dimwit-level CNN hosts....about 80-percent of them are probably gone by the end of April.

Them getting podcast audience....maybe one out of three will give it a 'go'.

7.  Just browsing Georgia state Republican-chatter.....I'd say about 50-percent of GOP-office holders....are going either to jail, or be fired...by spring of 2027....for election fraud/corruption.

8.  Just a odd mentality....some transwomen (former guys) want to proclaim that they only desire to date 'straight' guys....not gay guys.

I've tried to make sense out of this.....thinking some gay guys are trying to fake out their transwomen...claiming they ain't gay, and it seems to work.

It's hard to imagine this level of 'crazy'.

9.  From a American educational prospective....sitting in a 7th grade math class.....if you can't get such-and-such point across in five minutes....the kid turns his interest 'off'.

Looking back at my 7th grade math teacher....they would waste teaching us on something for 55 minutes....when the point should have been simplified to 8-to-10 ten minutes max.

10.  Trump sending ICE  to fill in at airport TSA operations?

He's baiting a trap.  You suffer from anti-ICE feelings....start acting goofy or making threats....ICE detains you and charges you for airport security violations. You go to court and discover 90-days in jail is a possibility.

My TSA Experience

I typically fly in/out of major airports.  I made the decision this year....anticipating the nature of the Congress mess....to fly in/out of Huntsville (which is a small airport).

So Friday morning....I figured it'd be a 3-hour 'problem' to get past security.

I walked in for the bag-turn-in, and no one was there.  Odd.

I went to TSA's line....one single person in front of me.

It took 90 seconds to get past point-one.....through the x-ray machine....to the end.

Yeah, I basically had three hours to waste now...sipping $5-a-cup ice-tea.

Those stupid TV monitors with CNN coverage?  No....Huntsville doesn't feature that.

I did overhear a discussion over salmon fishing....another one over some parent telling 'Wanda-June' that she didn't need to attend some private-college, and some older couple discussing condo buying priorities while in Tampa.

Yeah, it was a low-blood-pressure afternoon.

Four Observations

 1.  This AM, I watched 60 seconds of the View, with Sunny Hostin (co-host)....suggesting that she thinks solar eclipses, earthquakes and cicadas are all caused by “climate change.”

The problem with this....at least 10,000 women will watch this BS, and believe she's right.

2.  I noted today....some study was done in Finland....over Somalia residents there.  They figured over a lifetime....there is a lifetime burden of roughly $1-millio-plus required to support them (each) from beginning to end. There is no plus-up.

3.  I did the cross-the-Atlantic flight again (probably 40th of my life), with Delta....rather uneventful.

What is odd...virtually all of the flight crew (stewardesses)....were age 50 or older.

The odd thing upon returning to Frankfurt's airport....I was heading to the NON-EU line for passport control, and the security lady noted my visa-card.....thereby directing me to the EU line (simple passport scan and no border control check).   Yep....I'm considered EU-status.

4. The UK Government is apparently going to offer each farmer £2,500 ($3,300) per Hectare to leave a non-produce situation in the ground or not plant....if you sign up for 3 years.

Finances

Starting in the 2027-28 school year....the state of California will offer a new personal finance course to high schoolers and mandate/require it for graduation beginning with the 2031 class.

I paused over the story....pondering.

It's just a one-semester course.

First, you'd have to have math-skills....to grasp the fundamentals, and I'd question if more than 50-percent of California kids can reach that level.

Second, if you get into debt management.....won't the kids ask how the cities of California, or the state....can manage a failing 'mess'?

Third, won't this be culture shock....to learn you can't afford a thousand-odd dreams?

Fourth....could Governor Newsom himself take and pass the course?

I do agree....every kid ought to get 40-hours of finance understanding.....but just wonder if the state of California can teach this.

Diego Garcia 'Hint'

This past day or two....Iran fired off a longer-range missile....toward Diego Garcia (missing widely).

So here's the thing....if you use the range shown....there's some European cities now within the range of Iran:

- London

- Berlin

- Paris

- Munich

- Rome

- Oslo

I paused over this....pondering. Probably up until  this point....they thought they were 'safe'.

Imagine a world where your whole safety concept is based off some nutcase Mullah....who might say you were deserving of a missile or two.

Observations

Spent 6 days in Bama....mostly getting my new 'star-card'-license-ID. Six  observations.

1.  Rode Delta.....curious....their attendants are all mostly 50-plus years old, and  25-to-40 pounds extra.

2.   Ate at the Waffle-House (Athens, Ala) twice.  Got the bill at the end.....each time....waitress wrote on the back 'Jesus-loves-you'. You don't get that in Germany.  Yeah, I tipped extra.

3. Ate fantastic catfish, bar-b-q each day.

4. Upon return via Frankfurt Airport....customs lady saw me heading toward the 'all-others' entry point  with my German visa card....stopped me, and said 'son, you use the EU point instead....you are one of us'. I felt special....but to be honest.....I'd rather it not get around that I'm 50-percent EU.

5. Stopped at a Buc-ees.  Spent about an hour walking around.  Yeah, it'll kill regular gas stations, but I'm not really seeing interior shopping as a plus-up there.  They do have five-star bathrooms....I admit.

6.  Just seems like a awful lot of medication TV advertisements.  Some  point....local plastic surgery shop (Huntsville)....telling you if you get seen by Doc-so-and-so.....he can lessen your butt appearance/size.  Seems like folks are prioritizing butt size.

Five Observations Over This Iran 'Operation'

 1.  The end-situation?  The Grand Ayatollah situation ends, period. Even if 10-percent of the population feels life isn't possible without a Grand Ayatollah.

2.  Around 250,000 to 400,000 IRCC people (police, security, journalists, Mullahs, etc) exist somewhere at the end, and in disbelief that their lifestyle ends.

3.  Somehow.....eight to ten ethnic groups have to survive  in one country, or it splits into several states.

4.  The banking and finance sector will need massive help to rebuild.

5.  Tehran needs five-star help to resolve water shortages.

The General Story

About two weeks ago....retired Air Force Maj. Gen. William Neil McCasland, age 68, disappeared from his Albuquerque home (leaving on foot).  He left his cellphone and wallet in the house.

So the interesting thing about the guy?  He was all 'in'....on the UFO business for most of his career.

My belief in the disappearance?  It's one of two things: (1) aliens came and picked him up....or (2) the Chinese finally realized his value....kidnapping him to advance their UFO program.

The Day Approaching

There are around seven to ten states (Cal, OR, WA, NJ, ILL, Virginia, Delaware....as a minimum)....that will have a cash imbalance situation....with massive debt owed to banks over loans....covering pensions, salaries and operational costs....where companies simply said enough, and left.

When that day arrives....the states will turn to the federal government for a bailout.  In the case of California....it's probably in the range of $50-Billion with a second year bailout likely in the same range.

This being strictly a state thing?  No....I would  imagine at least one-hundred cities lined up with the same imbalance problem...with Portland and Seattle at the front of the group.

Will the feds save them?  I think it's highly unlikely.

So I'll predict three things likely occurring in lightning speed: pensions across the board cut by 50-percent, property taxes in cities like Portland and Seattle doubling (triggering a massive exodus), and public services (like fire departments and libraries) curtailed.

When does the fallout occur?  2026?  No....nor in 2027.  Somewhere between 2028 and 2030....the collapse will start to occur....with some banks saying 'enough'....that they don't believe states can honor the loans currently existing.

I'm also of the mind....that very negative 'wording' (like 'ghetto-states') will come to exist.

So....settle back....it will be an entertaining event to watch.

Who Do You Call

Back in the late 1970s....I started traveling.  I was fortunate that the Air Force gave me that chance, and I've traveled through dozens of countries and admired lots of different cultures. I've observed TV, comedy series, food, beverages, hostility, and lots of aspects that you typically don't think about.

I sat and pondered over cultures and reactions to chaotic events.  You can't say precisely in every single case....how various cultures will react, but there's this trend-line....you tend to know alot about chaos, and human reaction.

So you throw up some situation....a barn on fire....a broken water-pump....a flight to be cancelled where you need a plan 'B'....or some bear that has walked into the middle of your backyard.  You then mix the various cultures.

1.  The German.  This culture wants to study the problem for a fair amount of time.....making a plan which likely revolves around six options or resolutions.  All might work, but the time to reach that moment is generally more you'd like to imagine.

2.  The Italian.  The Italian will go from zero to sixty in ten seconds flat in terms of emotion, and might possibly do more damage than the current situation is creating.  Some emotion will be driven into the problem, and you can't be sure about the final outcome.

3.  The Greek.  Well....does it really have to be resolved or fixed today....will be the first question.  How important is it to be fixed....will be the second question.  This will be like a question and answer session with Socrates (former blacksmith in his early years).  At least an hour will be used to center on the relative significance of the problem.  In the case of the bear event....you'd hope that both of you are inside of the house at the time.

4.  The Japanese.  An immediate question or two will pop up first....how did this all occur?   They'd like to know the cause and only work toward resolving that one single problem.  Emotion will be throttled back....maybe to 20-percent of what the Italian guy was displaying.

5.  The Icelandic culture.  At least five minutes will be devoted to watching the chaos develop because they've never seen something like this....EVER.  Then about forty minutes will be devoted to talking about nature, and this chaos is part of the bigger picture in life.

6.  The Brit.  Some quick reactionary plan will be put into immediate action, and it'll be something of a creative nature that you could never repeat in a thousand years.  Even after the event, no one will be able to describe why he took fourteen different steps, how each step fits into a precision solution, and how they stopped the barn fire, or removed the bear from the backyard.

7.  The Chinese culture.  There will be a period of review....perhaps a few minutes, then a plan will be established, and a solution put forward.  There's a fifty percent chance that the solution plan is more dangerous than the current event....that they might make the problem worse than it already is.....or that some fight might break out among the handful of Chinese folks over comments uttered or insults thrown at bystanders.

8.  The Irish culture.  They will mostly stand and talk a good bit about the problem....suggesting a pint of some ale as part of the process, and then talk over the woes of the problem in detail.  Their son, their daughter, or their relatives....will have seen the problem and it's a matter of talking this over and repeating the process.

9.  The French culture.  They will suggest that there is a special office or agency to handle this, and it's best to leave it to the government to fix the problem.

10.  Finally, the Russian. In one sweeping motion, with almost no plan, or words.....the Russian ends the problem in seconds.  They kill the bear....put out the fire....or arrange for a plan 'B' after the cancelled flight. Then, there's vodka to be poured, and long discussion over everything except the chaotic event.  By morning, most of what happened is forgotten. Then they proceed on.....remembering nothing and rarely writing down the solution for future generations.

Book Recommendation

About 5 years ago....I spent time reading a Civil War history book......'Field of Blood' by Joanne B. Freeman, 480 pages.

First, she lays out the whole period of 1830s to 1860, in magnificent detail and you get a great feel for DC, and how things were crumbling.

For a high school kid (11th to 12th grade), I'd probably make it mandatory reading and it really sets up the nation and how it'll fall apart for the Civil War to occur.

The second thing, as 1860 comes around, it's common knowledge that EVERY SINGLE House and Senate member were packing a pistol, or had one in their desk in the Capital building.

The threat of a conflict starting there....on the House floor?  It came down on several occasions where enough was said, and threats made.....that the war could have easily erupted there, and a hundred House members could have been shot dead over an entire evening by gunfire.

If you've ever had questions over the Civil War and how things leading up to 1860 never made sense in high school or college, or via the stupid video lessons.....I'd recommend this book.

Does The Muslim Religion Have A 'End-of-Days' Segment?

 Well....yeah.

Islam has a detailed eschatology (beliefs about the end times) that includes the concept of an "end-of-days" period leading up to the Day of Judgment, known as Yawm al-Qiyamah.

This is a core tenet of the faith, emphasizing the resurrection of the dead, divine judgment of deeds, and assignment to paradise (Jannah) or hellfire (Jahannam).

Both the Quran and Hadith (sayings of Prophet Muhammad) describe both minor and major signs heralding the end, such as widespread moral decay, natural disasters, the appearance of the Mahdi (a guided leader), the Dajjal (a false messiah often likened to the Antichrist), the return of Jesus (Isa) to defeat evil, and the emergence of Gog and Magog.

These events culminate in the destruction of the world, resurrection, and final accountability before God, with the exact timing known only to Allah.

Pentagon Story: Lobster

About two days ago...story pops up....DoD went and spent several million to buy lobster for the troops....getting the Democratic folks very peeved (waste of money).

I paused over it....pondering.

In my 22 years of Air Force time....there's only two occasions where the chow hall on base went to the extreme...serving lobster, or steak....both came after a base inspection.  On both occasions...I selected the steak option....thinking I was getting a great rib-eye....but getting a three-quarters size steak.

Over the 5,000-odd times of using the chow-hall....I mostly ate 'cheaply'...meaning two grilled-ham-and-cheese for lunch, or two marginal chicken pieces for dinner.

An associate of mine who was deployed in the 2007 period....often commented about the full-year he spent in Iraq....where at least once a month....they had steak.

I doubt that the political folks have ever been in such a position...where they ate crap for several months at a time.

The Odds Of A Iranian Sleeper Cell In The US?

As loose as the border has been over the decades....the odds are 100-percent in favor  of 'some' cell-members.

The real question is....how many?  Ten....forty.....three-hundred.....two-thousand?

Where?  I'm mostly of the mind that they hung out in California....pretending to be Lebanese, or Egyptian.

The fact that some might have been 'sleepers' since the 1990s?  Yeah....some might be approaching age 60.

Four Humble Thoughts

 1.  I sat  and viewed the podcast of Jessie Michaels yesterday (here)....four hour  talk....with psychists Eric Weinstein and Eric Davis...talking over gov't secrecy and UFOs.  Worth viewing....but four hours.  I'd advised to watch 1 hour at a time.

Key question on the UFO secrets?  Since 1940s....gov't has had control of craft, but mostly only allowed engineers...NOT psychists....to view the craft.  For this reason....both guys agree....there's likely to be no insight on the craft (I agree).

2.   Financially-speaking....Iran is probably crippled-up enough....that the corrupt-class (the ultra-gov't officials) are discovering they are ultra-broke at this point, and war is way more 'designed' to defeat you....than in just the military sense.

3. My gut tells me that Rubio is probably 30-points ahead of Vance at this point, for 2028's election. The sad thing?  December 2027....Rubio likely resigns as Secretary of State....to campaign for 2028.

4.  The Trump administration will likely conclude by the end of March....a  economic deal with Cuba.

Includes?  Travel restrictions for Americans going to the island....to be dumped.

Some arrangement will include fresh new and open elections....involve agreements on imports/exports, energy and tourism.

Generational Iran

If you were in your 20s in Iran....in the 1950s....you sat there and watched the 1953 Iranian coup d'état (the 28 Mordad coup) unfold.  It basically involved the overthrow of the democratically elected Prime Minister, Mohammad Mosaddegh, and the strengthening of the monarchical rule of Shah Mohammad Reza.  You were told things would get 'better'.

This rigged up the Shah to be the focus of power (for the next 26 years).  Oddly, the common belief is that the Brits and Americans arranged the coup, and for all negativity over the 26 years....it's this group getting the four-star blame.

So  1979 and the Islamic Revolution comes around....you are in your late 50s, and  the Shah leaves....for the Ayatollah Ruhollah Khomeini to run things.  You are told....things will get better.

Twelve month pass....Iran now engages with Iraq on a war.  Total dead by 8th year of the war for Iran?  Minimum of 200,000......some suggest on up to 750,000.

What you notice by 1990....just about every single component of the government of Iran....is 'favored-son' status of Islamic guys....along every department of the government.

You pass on in the 1990s, with your son (probably in his 50s)....seeing incompetence and corruption as key features of the local, state, and federal government.

By 2000, Tehran is suggesting there's a water issue....but they can't seem to find the solution, and grasp of some way of paying for it.

With all the oil being sold....it doesn't make any sense on how the general public has become.

Fantastic sums of money now being spent on terror operations (throughout the Middle East), nuke energy (mostly weapons development), and corruption.

By 2010....you are nearing the age of 70....about to pass away, and your son nears age 50....being told that things will get better.

This grandson....age 50....2010....quietly moves profits/currency out of Iran....no longer believing in anything  improving.  Iranian banks are in continual trouble.....no currency to loan out.

2026 arrives....you are passing on, and the great grandson of the original guy told things will get better....is now around age 50.

You are depending on some guy named Trump to dispense the solution....and the return of the Shah (his son and grandson).

All this cashflow from 1979 to today....where did it all go?  No one really knows.

Did anything ever get better?  No.

If you start in 1979.....roughly five-million Iranians exited the country...probably all admitting things got better (after they left).

Four Observations Over Iran

 1.  If you wrote a list of the top 400 Iranian national authorities (Mullahs included)....roughly 90-percent are dead as of today.  So I'd say....there is chaos brewing and a whole new crew thrust into jobs they probably aren't qualified for.

Their question?  Who do I surrender to?

2.  Trying to make the 'war' last six months (to the US mid-terms)?

I believe from whoever is still in power....this is the only goal left.....to hurt Trump enough.  Oddly, the same goal might exist for the Democratic Party itself.

But....this logic goes to the 1980s strategy....the 8-year war between Iran/Iraq.

In that war....Iraq had around 3 strengths going into the conflict....with a dozen weaknesses....same for Iran.  In this case....US Admirals/Generals are playing the idea of making every marginal strength that Iran has.....into a collapsing weakness....in a matter of days.

3.  Fronts?

I'm of the mindset....there will be four fronts developing (shocking Iran's generals).  Kurds in NW.....Pakistan mounting a minor  limited front on the NE (carrying out defense obligations with Saudi Arabia)....US Marines on the far south (near the Hormuz area)....and some US Army front.

Toss in Israel special operations personnel.....the war (at best).....lasts around ten days.

4.  The biggest loser of the war?

The UK.

Iran, In The End

In about six weeks....the end will exist....where Iran as one nation ceases, and you end up with three to four 'republics'.

My scenario?

Kurdish territory on the far NW....probably 10-percent of the country....ceded to Kurds.

SW Iran....ends up as a Arab-Lur ethnic region.....probably taking up 35-percent of the country.

Most of central region (includes Tehran) to the eastern border......reverts to Persians, and old name comes back.

The thugs and Mullahs?  Most attempt to disappear....finding Pakistan exceptionally unfriendly toward them, and things barely acceptable in Afghanistan.  The 'loot'.....the US tracks down the  bulk and returns it.

Persia ends up as a US-protected zone for a 3-year period.

Nuke energy?  Accepted and watched over by the US.

Terrorism by the end of 2026.....mostly gone from the face of the Earth.

This Trump-Alien-UFO Chatter And Where It Leads Onto

I have four concerns/issues over the hype that Trump is said to be close in laying out the alien/UFO/UAP story.

First, I'd like to know what treaties got signed in the 1950s by Eisenhower.  I don't think anyone with the knowledge of that situation...really wants to admit things.

Second, I'm curious how far China and Russia have gotten with the situation....as well as the Nazis of the 1930s/1940s.

Third, I'm about 99-percent sure a nuclear 'event' occurred on Mars.  After the 'mess'....I think whoever lived there....left, and that's probably the bulk of the 'guests' on Earth today.  If you ask the guests....this nuke-history is mostly why they are so anti-nuke.

Fourth, fear over the 'guests'?  Unless you come out and say they are cannibals....I don't think anyone will have serious issues.

Are We In A Civil War Era?

About seven years ago....I spent most of a year surveying/reading over the 1800-to-1860 era.  So I'm listing  today....12 similarities between the United States in the period from 1800 to 1860 (leading up to the Civil War) and modern times (around 2026):

1.Extreme Political Polarization.

1800s, the nation divided sharply between Northern and Southern interests, with parties like the Whigs (not yet Republicans) collapsing amid ideological rifts.

Today....similar hyper-partisanship exists between red and blue states, with Democrats and Republicans seeing each other as existential threats.  Pure and simple demonization.

2.   Sectionalism and Regional Loyalties:

1800s era saw exaggerated devotion to regional interests over national unity, with the North and South prioritizing their economic and cultural identities. Today, coastal urban areas clash with rural heartlands, fostering "red state" vs. "blue state" identities that undermine federal cohesion, just like the North-South divide.

3.  Debates Over States' Rights vs. Federal Authority:

Southern states in the 1800s championed states' rights to resist federal overreach on issues like tariffs and slavery expansion.  Today, states challenge federal mandates on topics like immigration, abortion, and gun laws, with actions like Texas's border policies echoing nullification crises.

4. Economic Disparities Between Regions:

1800's North benefited from protective tariffs that burdened the agricultural South, widening wealth gaps.  Today, economic divides pit prosperous tech-driven coasts against declining manufacturing and agricultural interiors, exacerbated by trade wars and globalization debates.

5.  Cultural and Ideological Clashes:

1800's cultural differences....includes urban vs. rural lifestyles and religious views, deepened mutual distrust between North and South. Today....disagreements  over education, sex rights, and religion create similar rifts, with urban liberals and rural conservatives seeing each other as culturally alien.

6.  Rise of Extremist or Single-Issue Political Movements:

1800's reform of the Republican Party as an anti-slavery force radicalized politics and accelerated division. Today?  Movements like far-right nationalism or progressive activism dominate, sidelining moderates and pushing parties toward extremes on issues like election integrity or social justice.

7.  Immigration and Nativism Tensions:

1800s nativism, fueled by immigration waves, contributed to party fractures like the Know-Nothings.  Today?  Debates over border security and migrant influxes mirror this, with anti-immigration sentiments dividing communities and parties along similar lines.

8. Threats of Secession or Disunion: 1800s southern states threatened and enacted secession in 1860-1861 over perceived threats to their way of life.  Today...modern discussions of "national divorce" or state autonomy, especially in conservative areas, evoke this, with some viewing federal policies as intolerable overreach.

9.  Contested Elections Sparking Crises: Abraham Lincoln's 1860 election, won without Southern support, triggered secession.  Today?  Recent elections, like 2020 and 2024, have led to disputes and events like January 6, 2021, where outcomes are seen as illegitimate by large segments, fueling ongoing unrest.

10.  Violence and Social Unrest:  Events like Bleeding Kansas in the 1850s involved guerrilla warfare over territorial issues.  Today?  Protests, riots, and political violence, such as those in 2020 or ongoing clashes over policy.....parallel this, raising fears of escalation into broader conflict.

11.  Loss of Faith in National Institutions: By 1860, distrust in Congress, the presidency, and the Supreme Court eroded unity.  Today?  In 2026, plummeting confidence in institutions like the federal government, media, and judiciary mirrors this, with accusations of bias and corruption deepening divides.

12.  Nationalism Overriding Unity: Southern nationalism in the 1850s prioritized regional identity, leading to fragmentation. Today?  Modern American nationalism, often tied to "America First" or identity politics, similarly places factional loyalties above national compromise, risking further divisions.

Yeah, we are at 'war' but have yet to grasp that.

State of the Union Speech, and Democrat's Alternate Speech

 Four thoughts.

Man, 90 minutes long...probably the longest SotU ever.

Second, Gov Spanberger giving the alternate....several goof-up's and they were noticeable.

Third, the whole thing is likely to be made up into November campaign pieces....supporting Republicans and demonizing Democrats.

Fourth, before Obama/Trump/Biden came along....this was pretty dull stuff.  Past 20 years?  Charged-up.

Five Things I Now Believe

 1.  The 2028 Democratic Primary will not be won by AOC, Governor Newsome or Governor Whitmer.

All three will be deemed too 'dimwitted' to handle the job....even by current standards.

2.  A study will be concluded by 2027....to establish that one-third of all high school graduates (graduating in 2026)....are no more than 6th grade level in abilities. The primary question after that....what do you do with such people?

3.  By 2035....marriage between humans and robots will be approved in the US.

4.  Farts will be determined to be pollution-like by 2030.

5.  After President Trump gives his Aliens-exist speech....more than 3-million Americans deny it and launch into what I'd call aliens-delusionary-syndrome (ADS).

Where This Mexico Cartel 'War' Goes

First, between DEA, Intel, and CIA folks.....this one particular cartel in the news....has been on the minds of people for 20-odd years....waiting for  this 'war' to start up.

Second, if they take  a couple hundred hostages (Canadians, Americans, Mexicans, and Europeans)....a number of lesser cartels will step up to hero-status....briefly putting down this mess...in the interest of their cartel business.

Third and final....tourism-wise....you can figure the rest of 2026 is screwed-up in Mexico.

NYC: Do You Really Need A ID To Shovel Snow?

I read through forty commentaries....with all the freaking snow in NYC in the past week or two.....it's reached a point where the mayor needs regular people to 'stand-up' and shovel snow.

But there is a catch....you need a ID.

I read through all the BS, and here's the deal....if you want to be a paid emergency snow shoveler with the Department of Sanitation (DSNY) for city-contracted work during major storms...like clearing bus stops, crosswalks, fire hydrants, and step streets, then actual requirements occur....to include specific forms of identification and other documents.

This is a temporary, per diem role paying around $19 per hour, activated during significant weather events.

So you could work 12 hours in a day....making $228?  Well...NO....after taxes and Social Security is taken out....you'd likely get around $100 for a 12-hour job.

But here's the odd part to the story....you must be 18 or older....be eligible to work in the United States (no non-citizens)....and be capable of performing heavy physical labor. How you prove the heavy labor thing?  Unknown.

Then you must bring the followings for registration....two small photos (1-1/2 inch square each).....a Social Security card (original)....and two original forms of ID (plus one copy of each), such as a driver's license, passport, state-issued ID, or birth certificate.

If you have no birth certificate (like in the case of 75-percent of Democrats)?  Well...some state ID and the license would do.

Complicated? Yeah.  My advice....move to Florida and avoid snow.

Note....after you get registered and have a snow-shovler-ID.....you can probably use it for voting purposes.

Also note....you don't have to be a NYC resident. If you felt some passion for shoveling snow....you could fly up for a week, get the ID, and shovel some.  Note, your food expenses per day....likely exceed the paycheck.

This Chicago Bears Situation

The Bears said 'enough'....giving notice, and will move across the state line (roughly a 40-minute drive)  to another state.  Four observations:

1.  I don't think the mayor or Governor ever thought this day would come.  They acted 'shocked'....but I would suggest half the population knew it was coming.

2. If you were a fan....you'd probably park your car in the Chicago stadium/parking  lot, and take a party-bus over to Indiana.   So Chicago will still make 'some' money.

3.  Fans flying in?  There's likely to be five or six hotels built around the new park, but how will they make money in the non-NFL season?  This part of the talk...makes no sense.

4.  I  could see five or six other NFL teams doing the same thing....particularly around Seattle, SF, and central  Cal.

Four Observations

1.  I watched a 30-second clip of Governor Newsom explaining something....with at least 12 hand-signals given (like a 3rd base coach).  To be honest....I watch the hand-signals more than paying attention to the words.

2.  Odd page three story I noted this week.....there was this car that rammed into LADWP power substation in Nevada, prompting investigation of a ‘terrorism-related event.’

Rental car....inside....two shotguns, an assault rifle-style pistol, and flamethrowers.  Driver?  Wearing “soft-body armor.” Guy dead from self-inflicted gunshot wound.

I'll guarantee....unresolved and closed case within a week.

3.  Kamala Harris comment this week: "We have so many stars in our party. There are so many stars. And let's not be afraid of them. You talk about Mamdani… Crockett… I mean we have so many stars."

I just can't put either Crockett or Mamdani in a 3-star or 4-star status.

4.  This week, I noted the numbers.....3,920,028 illegals were given Social Security and Medicaid over 4 years.  The chief issue?   If you think about the formula....the low-paying jobs these people will have because of zero professional skills.....most all of them will never get more than $500 a month upon retirement.  The Biden crew created a special category of people....the ultra-poverty status.

Wednesday, 18 February 2026

Four Humble Observations

 1.  Rumors exist that Kamala Harris intends to run again in 2028.

For the 107 days of the 2024 campaign....she spent $1.5-billion. For a 300-day campaign, with a primary? I'd imagine she'd require $3.5-billion.

2.  Emmanuel Macron, President of France....gave a talk: "Free speech is a pure bullshit if nobody knows how you are guided through this so-called free speech, especially when it is to be guided from one hated speech to another hated speech."

I had to read over it five times....realizing it was never meant to make sense.

3. Something I learned today.   Erika Kirk (widow of Charlie Kirk)....several years ago....landed a job at the Corcoran Group, the luxury international real estate dealer.

So here's the curious thing....before that, she had zero background/experience....in real estate.

Who were the Corcoran Group?  Well....they handled Epstein’s properties, and that of Epstein's best buddy....Les Wexner.

4.  Anytime  you have some joker wanting to blab on-and-on about the evil super-rich/ultra-rich....gaze over at their watch. Hint: it won't be a Timex or $99 type.

The Essential Problem

I  contemplated this idea today that some people in the US....perhaps even over the age of sixty....have NO birth certificate (ZERO).

According to a 2024 national survey conducted by the Brennan Center for Justice, VoteRiders, Public Wise, and the University of Maryland's Center for Democracy and Civic Engagement....somewhere around 3.8 million voting-age US citizens have no form of documentary proof of citizenship at all. This means they lack a U.S. birth certificate, passport, naturalization certificate, or certificate of citizenship.

Truth to the matter?  No one has ever jumped into this issue. You can't say x-number from this state or that state....have no birth certificate.  You can't say 300,000 Indians exist with no birth certificate.  You can't say 44,000 folks granted citizenship in the 1990s....arrived with no birth certificate, and were given paperwork for citizenship, but lacking the certificate.

Do we even want to open up this discussion?

The solution?  Well.....you'd have to appoint some gov't  folks to make up birth certificates....with minimum data or facts.  I don't see this going well.

Couric Comment

Katie Couric commentary: "The socio-economic disparities are significant, and class resentment is widespread. Anti-intellectualism and elitism are driving many of these anti-establishment individuals — who are largely Trump voters — so I think that is a huge problem we have to address."

I pondered over the 'lecture'.

To be honest, I haven't really thought much about Couric since the late 1990s.

On the anti-intellectualism BS? What I'd generally say.....a whole lot of people have appeared since the 1990s....claiming to be intellectual, but apparently skipped about half of the classes, and seem to be hooked-up to some type of fake-intellectualism.

The other issue....it's bad enough on 'elitism' now....that you have to use a fake-elite  index....assigning folks a score, and simply admitting that you 'mute' a fair amount of their commentary.

But then I come to the central theme....what the intellectuals need to do....to recapture the bulk of society.  If your 'brand' or message doesn't work....you might want to start learning a new skill or trade.

The Back-Pack Reasoning?

The Guthrie situation in Tucson presents an odd factor.  I watched the video of 'Hocus-Pocus-Joe' at the door (with mask/gloves on)....and this overly-filled back-pack.  I ran through it a dozen times.

So first, if you were on a kidnapping adventure....why bring a full-up back-pack?  This wasn't a kid's type (small bag).....this was the type you'd use for a full-up day hike....with water, snacks, change of clothing, etc.

Then I wondered....is the back-pack bulked up with newspapers (we used to bring deployment bags to a Air Force 4 AM recall like that)?

Then I got onto this....guy parks the car/van near  the house....why put the back-pack on...if you were grabbing the old gal, and escaping to the car?

Then I thought about....is the idiot bringing something to drop off?

For about two hours this AM.....I've pondered this.  It makes no sense, unless the purpose is to 'trick' you into thinking it was full for some reason.

Abduction Chatter

Today, I viewed an odd map.....where some guy had sat down over decades and added up alien abductions.

Apparently....the state you live in....increases the odds, or lessens the odds. The number on the list? Around 150,000.

The possibility states?  New Hampshire, Idaho, Vermont, Maine, and Oregon.

The marginal states?  New Mexico, Indiana and Nebraska.

Slightly above the marginal states?  Alabama, Mississippi, and Tennessee.

I pondered over this.

Personally (from a Ala prospective)....I think Alabama is way over the top, but most guys who've been abducted....haven't said nothing much about the experience.

We tend to be quiet, reserved, and a bit stoic over the matter....even if it's been eleven  or twelve times that the alien 'lady' has encountered us while hauling hay, returning from the stateline bar, or passed out from the heat.

We don't want to mess around and brag about the experience, or get woeful over the experience.

What isn't in the index?  Was this a friendly abduction, or a crappy abduction?

More guys than women?  That's  not in index, and I wonder about that.

Are A Quarter Of Americans Low-IQish Enough...That They Can't Get A Legit ID?

I watched a podcast today, which led me around to the suggestion....maybe a quarter of society is ill-equipped to get a ID.

I pondered over this. On my person....I carry a US license, a German license, a German visa-card, and a passport.  The Germans are a bit blunt....no discussion....you will have a visa whenever on the street.

If you ask a German where to get the license or  ID....everyone knows the address.

I would imagine in my home-county of Alabama....if you asked about the license situation....about 99.9-percent of folks know the building and address. State-wise?  If you tested folks....it's probably near 98-percent of folks.

But if this is the case....too low of a IQ....maybe we should hire some folks to lead the low-IQ folks to the right county office. I'm not saying to pay them $18-an-hour....just set up a burger-flipper situation....paying them $12-an-hour and give them a Ford to carry passengers.

I might even make it interesting.....if you got the ID, and used it to vote....we ought to give you a coupon-card for $40 off at the local Piggly Wiggly.

Micro-School?

 I had to ask Grok/AI.....this AM....what the hell is a micro-school.

So....it's a small personalized learning environment that basically acts like theold 1890ss traditional one-room schoolhouse.....It'd typically serve 12 to 15 students (varying ages).

So it acts like a homeschool and conventional school.  Flexible?  Yeah....they can run with personalized knowledge sets.

Does it have to be in a building?  Well....no.  You could be the instructor, with a 20-pax bus, and have daily trips to parks, museums, historical sites.

Testing-out?  I would imagine most kids in this situation....could be finished with basic school by age 16, and move onto community college.

State Story

WV Senator Chris Rose has proposed a resolution for certain counties in Virginia to leave & become part of West Virginia.

I pondered over this.

Virginia is trying build districts (for House members) which are pure Dem-voters.

Gazing over the red counties....if  you add up the population...if's around  1-to-1.4 million....probably 80-percent Republican.

Would Virginia allow an 'exit'?  I doubt it.

The problem with this....if you gaze across the US....there's 30 states which would like to re-arrange borders.

Wildest Thing I've Seen From The Epstein Files?

Hillary Clinton email discussing resurrection chamber of the buried Nephilim, and document request related to Gilgamesh’s resurrection chamber (in Iraq).

This BS starts up originally....from a 2003 BBC report suggesting that German archaeologists might have found the tomb of Gilgamesh within the Euphrates riverbed.

After this come out.....no science or discovery reports ever get documented.

However, there are these various idiots connected to Epstein who keep believing that Gilgamesh's 'chamber' is held by the CIA folks.

Part of me wants to believe that the CIA intentionally built this into a fake story....just to pull someone's leg.

So at some point....Hillary is asked to find report and report back.  Did she just make up BS....or pay someone to document fake secret stuff?

The 2027 NFL Super Bowl Half-Time Shows (Plural)

I'm of the mindset....there will be five options  for the half-time show for 2027.

1.  The NFL 'original'.

2.   The TP-USA 'invention'.

3.  A Nashville country-music show (with five to eight musicians).  On-line and streaming.

4.  A Vegas 1990s/2000s-theme show....built to attract 71,000 fans at their Allegiant Stadium.  Downloadable.

5.  Louisville KFC arena show....22,000 seats.  Downloadable.

My thoughts....the NFL from this point on...will not  be able to attract folks to their show.

Six Thoughts

 1.  The dead gal in Minnesota....just curious....just over 30 days since the shooting, and no one much today remembers her name.  I would imagine fewer than 10-percent.  Interesting how quick folks forget.

2.  I watched about 12 minutes of 'clips' of the Bad Bunny NFL Super Bowl  show, and maybe 8 minutes of the Kid Rock alternate show.

To be honest....it would have been better to turn the TV  off....catch 45 minutes of Fleetwood Mac tunes.

3.  My gut feeling for the NFL and planning the 2027 half-time show....get some demonic people or zombies lined up....if you want to even fewer people watching.

4. Perpetual psychodrama for the past ten years.  Just about all Americans need a rehab of some sort.

5.  Since 1945 and the surrender...Japan has been forced to having a coalition-party gov't.  Well...this past week....one single party (right-wing) won enough to avoid  coalition-building, and will have a re-writing of the Constitution.

6.   Something I started wondering about....people need an ID to obtain SNAP benefits but these same people are too stupid to use voter ID?

'Not Infinitely Accessible' Story

I watched a podcast piece this AM....a CEO of something called the Institute for Sustainability Leadership.....this gal...Lindsey Hooper, says that water, soil, and oxygen should not be infinitely accessible.

She wants them all classified as 'limited'. It'd be like a pallet of beer, with it being like a global balance sheet.

I paused over this....stuff you'd expect a 5th-grade kid to utter.

I just can't find the logic where there is ONLY X-amount of dirt, or air....unless you were space-traveling, or locked-up in a cave somewhere.

I would agree....there is limited amount of toilet-paper, whiskey,  aspirin, Snickers, or Ford 150s.

In her mind....only x-number of people could get certain thing, while some fellow managed the spreadsheet. It don't make much sense.

The "Other" Debt

You would think there would be alot more turmoil and protests over the debt games being played out in Washington.  There ought to be protesters....angry mobs hating Republicans....upset conservative folks....etc.  But there aren't.  So why?

Well....because Joe, your neighbor (age 30), owes $80k in college loans and he admits he won't be finished paying this off for another 20-odd years.

Aunt Maude, your beloved aunt, owes near $60k on seven VISA cards that she uses regularly to shop QVC....and will likely never pay off the cards before she passes on.

Charley, your favorite barber, owes $70k on a brand-new car that he bought.  He admits that he has never cleared more than $32k a year on salary but he's willing to take out a eight-year loan to get this sports car of his dreams.

Claude, your cousin?  He bought the $350k house back in 2007, with only $35k in the down-payment.  The house has gone down in value to $200k now and Claude is contemplating just handing the keys to the house over to the bank and declaring bankruptcy.

Karl, who lives down the street....wrapping up divorce number three?  He works sixty hours a week and barely takes home $1400 after paying alimony and child-support to the three ex-wives.  He's 42 and says he might find the right woman next time....if not....he'll be bankrupt by that point.

Sid, who bought property in Vegas as an investment in 2020?  The value just dumped by fifty percent and he's still paying $450 a month for this "investment opportunity".  It may take twenty years for the property to get back up to its original value....and maybe sell.

Tim, your buddy from high school?  He finally found a job after three years of unemployment....but had to move to Fargo, North Dakota to achieve this honor.  He lives out of a RV because his wife won't move to Fargo....and most all his check goes to the wife and kids at the old house.

Frankly, we have become a huge debt crowd....in a debt nation, with no real grasp of what it was like in the 1970s.  Before the credit cards, QVC, massive college costs, alimony-on-top-of-alimony, and stupid property prices.....we were living a simple life, without much debt.  The same could be said for the nation itself.  We didn't build museum after museum.  We didn't build bridges on a whim.  We didn't hand out cash to research teams to figure out why bears like honey.

So, as you sit back tonight.....counting the few dollars left in your billfold....and watching a bunch of news folks get excited about the evil Republicans, the dimwitted Democrats, or the President's five-star speeches....you kinda wonder why anyone should get excited.  Until you've charged $80k on a couple of VISA cards....you really don't grasp debt or the depth of problems.  Course, the reverse is true too....if you as a nation owed a trillion dollars.....you really don't know debt.

Only in America.

Unemployment Rate for Huntsville, Alabama?

My German wife....eager to hype the negative nature of unemployment in America....was utterly shocked....December  2025 numbers for Huntsville, Ala...1.9-percent.

What this generally means?

If you run a BK or McDonalds operation...you probably have a full-time HR guy constantly recruiting, and a french-fry guy/burger flipper is probably paid $10/12 an hour starting out, and making $15 an hour within 3 months (to keep them there).

Across the board....you could marginally pass out of high school, and within three years...probably make $17 an hour easily.

Aliens Chatter

I sat and watched a AM podcast interview with the actor Laurence Fishburne (one of the few Hollywood actors that I truly enjoy watching)....so the topic of aliens/UFOs come up and the podcast gal asks Fishburne...what he thinks: (he says)

“I think they walk among us…I think they’re right here with us and we just don’t know who they are.”

To be honest, it wouldn't shock me some 'truth' were to arrive where we found around 100,000 aliens live among us....paying taxes....flying planes....running bars...repairing transmissions....working as soap-opera stars....wrestling...NCAA football coaching, and even being a President.

Why?  Well....if you were highly advanced....you probably are fairly bored and wish to have some adventure (West-World type).  So some travel agency exists....providing you a year of language training, and some basic trade skill....then whisk you off to Earth with some 10-year adventure.

Are People 'Blessed' With Such A Low IQ....That They Can't Gather-Up An ID Or Present It?

This AM, I pondered for half-an-hour about presenting an ID to vote, and if the real problem was a quarter of society has a IQ level of 65 to 75....meaning they are destined for food-prep-help, farm-work, assembly jobs, and House-of-Representatives work.

The question is....if you 'herded-up' a thousand of the low-IQ people....could 50-percent of them be unable to prove anything for a ID situation, or that they are even a US citizen?

Then the bigger question comes up....do you want the low-IQ  people voting?  I pondered over this for a while.  I don't mind asking low-IQ guy to flip burgers, haul hay,  or do dimwit-level work for the Senate job...but if they are this stupid....do I want them to have the right to vote?

So I'll just say it....this whole ID talk we are having presently....is a 50-foot deep 'hole' and we might want to have a serious conversation.

Harris Chatter

I sat this AM...watching a interview of former VP Harris, and the topic of mandating an ID to vote.

For a brief 20 seconds, Harris seemed to have the clarity and competence of a 16-year-old teenage girl....then  she said something to the effect that rural folks didn't have access to a Xerox machine, so they couldn't have copies of documents their American citizenship or residency.  This led me back to her mental side being that of a 8-year old girl.

I grew up in the 'boonies'....at least I considered it boonieish.  Today?  The forty-odd houses on the county road....all have multi-printers with Xerox/fax capability.  McDonalds?  There's one six miles away. The dry-county status dissolved around 15 years ago. Ninety percent of folks have internet capability and cable-TV.   On a boonie-index (1-to-10)....we probably won't get past '2'.

All these Democrat folks who seem passionate about about the rural folks existing along some 1940-timeline?  I think they need to take a month off....just travel around the nation, and talk to people.

My Thoughts On The Washington Post

There was a time....up through the 1990s....that they had 4-star investigative journalism. I worked with a Air Force officer who'd occasionally bring his Sunday edition into the office and I'd get a chance to read the bulk of it during lunch.

For my 3.5 year period (2010-2013)...in DC.....I was a subscriber for about 9 months.

I eventually came to a end-point.....mostly over 3 reasons: their analysis often seemed one-sided.....they just would not criticize or comment on the DC city council....and as many sports journalists as they had, they seemed to barely talk sports.

With the laying off this week?  Well...the folks that remain....probably are looking at three years of 'life'....before  the WP goes under.

My Humble Thoughs On:

Voter ID?  Look....I suspect this...if you mandate the ID and force people to re-accomplish registration...across the fifty states....around 50-percent of registered voters will disappear (more so in California than any other state). How would you go and explain this?

People unhinged/upset over use of words?  Look....if you are that childish in nature, then you ought to hook up to some Amazon tribal folks, and just find some group with 1,600 total words.  Live a simple life....boil lizards...and stare at stars an hour every evening.

News content?  If you write mostly BS, or stuff that people aren't accepting....you need to prepare for a 2nd career.

Life skills?  Around the 8th grade....there ought to be two hours a day on cooking, repairing, banking, etc....skills that you need in real life.

Trump giving a UFO's exist speech?  Some people will believe it....some will be on a TDS-frenzy and refuse to believe it.  We will end up with UFO-DS being a new problem.

Addictive Story

This AM....I read through a research piece briefly....this paper by Milbank Quarterly suggests that soda and sweets are designed to be addictive, in some odd way....copies the tobacco industry tactics.

My wife (the German health nut) has believed this for 30-odd years.

Up until 2010....I was a two-to-three soda a day consumer.  Since then....I might drink a Pepsi or  Coke three times a year....mostly at airports.

On a addictive scale....some are pretty high up, and then you have Tab, Sprite, and 7-Up....which I tend to see as zero on being addictive.

The 'Other' Joe?

About three years ago....the Joe-Biden-mask story came up...suggesting that someoe was acting in Joe's 'spot'....with a mask....playing him.

At the time...I laughed. About a year later...I started to give it a 5-percent  being true, mostly he walked in a awkward way from the helicopter to the White House on Sunday evenings....returning after a weekend in Delaware. Added to this....from Monday morning....till Friday evening (another chopper ride)....you'd notice for a whole week....no meetings or photo-ops.

Over the past 6 months....various 2020 to 2024 photos have popped up....where Joe looks like he has a mask on....maybe 50-percent of the time.

This week....a Epstein email popped-up....suggesting Joe was shot dead in 2019, and a sub was placed. Course, Epstein might have simply made up a joke.

Jill all in on this...if true?  How she'd sign up for duty like this?

At this point....I'm at the 20-percent point.

NY City Story

I sat and watched a 2-minute exchange....journalist....and a supporter of Zoharn Mamdani (NY City's new mayor)....arguing over the idea....businesses shouldn’t be allowed to leave over taxes and that the city should just seize/operate them instead.

The resident didn't really state his work or expertise....just by the way he talked...I assumed he had a degree (or two).

I'll admit....about two minutes were all I could really stand.

In some way....he assumes that the pricing of the business, and profits....will just stay on a path of continuing...without any issues.

A bad example of this idea?  At some point...the NY Yankees will start to have a problem  in signing 5-star players....because of the state/city taxation program.  This is the current problem in  Chicago...with the Bears (serious talk of leaving the state). I expect both the Dodgers and  Giants to have this discussion in a couple of years.

Crazy world we live in.

Four Humble Thoughts

 1.  I watched about 75 minutes of House situation with Secretary of Treasury Scott Bessent with House Democrats.

It was a college-professor moment....with 11-year old 'children'.

It was a 5-star disaster for the Democratic 'brand'.

2.  I read over a summary....parent writing how things went the the day prior at their kid's school.  Kid....I get the impression was probably 12 or13 years old.

So....the politicized 'kids' in the school had a 'walk-out' planned....to dump on 'ICE' as a protest.  School director got word....blocked off the doors, and forbid the exit.

Via phone-chat (I assume)....whoever was directing the school-gang....went to plan 'B'....where kids were to wear anti-ICE labels/pins.

What the parent indicated....almost no boy in the school got into this pin-business.  It was purely a girl-event with the pins.

It's amazing  times we live in.

3.  The journalists-reporters at the Washington Post....viewed it as their purpose in life....to "spur change".

So as they exit the office (dismissed/let-go)....they should write it on their resume.  Apparently, their brand of change....means non-profit for the newspaper.

4.  The most dangerous man in America today...is not Donald Trump.  It's Joe Rogan....and here's the thing....Joe's going to be around for 20-plus years.

Civilization Doomed

Comparing Minneapolis to Maya City....in terms of a collapse.

The Maya civilization, one of the most advanced pre-Columbian societies in the Americas, experienced a significant decline known as the "Classic Maya collapse."

This occurred between 750 and 950 AD.

This was NOT a sudden, empire-wide catastrophe.  It started as a gradual process.....where crappy situations occurred over decades or centuries.

Populations plummeted.  Monumental architecture halted.  Commerce failed.

The Maya people didn't vanish....they just kinda walked away.

The collapse is often described as a "hell-hole" scenario in the sense that once-prosperous cities became uninhabitable due to intertwined environmental, social, and political crises, leading to mass out-migration.

I look at Minneapolis and would suggest within a decade....the population of the city will go from 429,000....to around 380,000.

Some will simply leave the city, but stay within the state....finding rural surroundings to be safe.

The population of the Somalis in Minneapolis?  I'll go and suggest that they increase, the household income level of the city (presently at $80k per household)....without federal fraud funding....will slide to $65k.

Detroit-status?  Yeah....that's the target.

By 2046?  The population is likely to hit near near 250k.

Like the Mayan civilization...it's doomed.
