Ohio's Amy Action

Look....people under stress...for weeks and weeks....will get to a point where anxiety and stress are top-level problems.  So you react...either by doing stupid crap....dosing yourself with medication....or boozing up in the middle of the day.

In the case of Action....I'm of the mind that she was medicating more than usual.

I watched a collection of five or six campaign stops from the last two weeks.  There's no doubt in my mind that she was influenced by 'something'.

In the same way as Kamala Harris?   More or less....yeah.

But I think this was a positive seen by some folks....maybe 10-percent of those who voted for Action....wanted 'drama', craziness, or weird behavior.  If you went to version 2 of yourself...saying there are 64 genders.....that God is binary/non-binary....that witchcraft plays a vital role in schools....that alien-bases exist in Tampa Bay....that 6-year-olds should be able to pick trans-lifestyles, etc.

Unlike the old days of 1970s/1980s....where something could destroy a candidate's chances, I think in 2026....it's nearly impossible for a candidate to lose voters over crazy stuff.  How we got to this level?  Mostly by Joe Biden's antics over four years, and it's pretty normal to do stupid crap these days.

As The Smoke Clears (4 Nov 2026)

 Five observations:

First.....2027 will end being a fairly complex year where both parties are in full turmoil and unable to do anything but campaign for 2028.

Second....I fully expect at least ten impeachment efforts....all failing....by the end of 2028.  Trump himself?  At least four.  I expect at least one effort to remove Clarence Thomas from the Supreme Court.

Third....the Democrat ticket for 2028?  Harris/Gov Amy Action, Harris/Talarico, or Harris/El-Sayed.  I will suggest that around 20-percent of the public wants to gear the Presidency (Demo-style) to be Biden-like and having daily theatrics/drama.

Fourth....once CNN resets itself, and CBS re-invents itself....there's no mouth-piece for politics around the clock.  2027 might be a strangely odd year where journalists ask legit questions, and forces the public to look for results.

Fifth....Census odds of starting in 2027?  I'd put it at 75-percent chance, and it'll hype the House/Senate ten times that before.
