Six Humble Truths

 1.  If Joe Biden had indicated in October of 2023....he wouldn't have run this year....the primary would have occurred, and all of these 'problems' with Kamala Harris would have played out, and she would NOT have been the candidate running at this point.

I know...it should have run this way, because she's just a lousy person to run a campaign around.

2.  I suspect that one out of every four 'juveniles' (meaning 14-to-25 years old)....have no name recognition with 'Hitler'. 

3.  Going back 50 years....I kinda remember Reagan, Bush I and Bush II....being referred to as 'Hitler'.

4.  Even if they started tomorrow in the Gaza Strip....it'd take 50-plus years to rebuild from scratch.

5.  NY Post says the fed folks spent around $150-billion on migrants in the past year.

Triggering a bigger mess with the budget in 2025?  Yeah.

6.  There's a discussion within DoD (Pentagon) channels.....about weight reduction 'shots', if chubby would be mandated to take them, and how they'd pay for them.

Just in the Air Force alone, I'd take a guess more than 300-million dollars might be required...yearly. 

Two Things

 1.  I watched a TV show in the past week, where the chief character (a lady in her 30s) had gone to some psychic course, graduated after a 'test', and was now a crystal-ball 'reader'.

In the 1970s....99-percent of people being told this....would have laughed and been amused. Today? I'd say 20-percent would be willing to buy into this and whatever she saw in the crystal ball.

We are as a society.....dragging ourselves to a new state of mind, where we believe BS.

2.  Trump saying he wanted more generals like Hitler had?

I laughed over the story.  First, it  comes ONLY from one single source....his EXEC....who happens to  remember this now, not 4 years  ago.

What I suspect happened?  Trump often tests the confidentiality of his people....telling one or two people a comment....to see if they leak the comment later, and this sounds like such an episode.

Harris running around for the final two weeks.....uttering Hitler-chatter?  If this is the strategy......it's a one-star plan.

Ten Humble Opinions

 1.  Without any doubt...picking Governor Tim Walz as a VP candidate....was one of the top three most stupid political things done in 2024.  On my personal 'goofy-index'.....1-to-10.....he maxes out at '10'.

2.  As many stupid decisions made by the new Labour gov't (UK) on helping Harris campaign and general comments (anti-Trump).....I think PM Starmer will have to offer Trump a knighthood.  

I'm not saying Trump wants a knighthood....but he'd treasure the sword, and hand it off to Baron.  

3.  I expect one-million age 65 and above Americans to be homeless by 2030.  Half of them will be former Florida residents 'chased-out' by the condo crisis.

4.  I expect President Joe Biden to quietly exit the White House, and not be 'seen' by the news media for the remainder of 2025.

5.  Just odd.....so far in the Philly vote count....over 1,200 mail-in ballots have been identified as 'rejected' because they lacked dates....or were misdated....lacked a signature.....or were missing an inner secrecy envelope.

Just interesting....you get the ballot, and it takes merely 3 minutes to fill it out, and there's 3 key instructions...which YOU must complete....to make it official and counted.

6. Its just funny....how you bump into a stranger today and try to converse for 20 minutes, and try hard to avoid talking about politics or anything political-related.

7.  It's just interesting what the Apostle Paul wrote and how it fits into today's world:

"But realize this, that in the last days difficult times will come. For men will be lovers of self, lovers of money, boastful, arrogant, revilers, disobedient to parents, ungrateful, unholy, unloving, irreconcilable, malicious gossips, without self-control, brutal, haters of good, treacherous, reckless, conceited, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God, holding to a form of godliness, although they have denied its power; Avoid such men as these."

Yeah....Paul did say....just avoid such people (even if they were former friends, relatives, or neighbors).   

8.  As many dangerous stunts as I did on a farm in the 1960s/1970s....surviving....in today's same world, folks are doubling and tripling the dangerous stunt routine. Some are not surviving.

9.  Depending political affiliation....if you asked a hundred 'friends' what is a woman....I'd say it's a 80-percent chance if your friend is democrat....they won't answer the question.

10.  If  I were walking around the US today....I might go and suspect at least four people per day....are not mentally stable.

There's about forty additional syndromes I could make a case for....oddly, ODS (Obama Derangement Syndrome doesn't exist).

Also, just odd.....you could have five or six of these, but not require a visit in some mental facility in Kentucky.

Yesterday at a campaign stop for Kamala Harris....Obama uttered this quote.

I sat and pondered upon it. To be truthful....you could see the toxic nature of things developing in the 1990s to a small degree.  But as you got to the 2005 to 2015 era....between the print-media (NY Times, Newsweek, Nat'l Geographic, WaPo) and the TV news-media....things simply accelerated. Adding Facebook and Twitter to the mess....just made things worse.

The comical four years of Joe Biden?  Having a dementia-person as President makes things a joke.

As for people being 'bitter'?  I would make the observation that more than half-a-million people have reached a stage where they have no emotional control of themselves.  

Wade

 It came out yesterday....in talk around Nathan Wade (the Atlanta prosecutor against Trump)....that he'd been to 'several' White House meetings prior to the prosecution stage.  

Who he met with?  Unknown....in this testimony....Wade just says in a funny way....he doesn't remember much.

What I believe?  I think ALL of the meetings revolved around Joe Biden and Nathan Wade, and that the 30-plus hours were just chats between the two guys.  They probably connected on NCAA football, WNBA games, and slutty women that both knew in their lives.

Staging

 I kinda quit reading Time and Newsweek around 2012.  I considered both to have marginal news and mostly designed to function as a propaganda unit.

I stared at a story from yesterday....Newsweek's journalist want me to believe the Trump French-Fry thing was 'STAGED'. (actual word used)

Hell yes, it was staged.

But here's the thing....I can go back to the Clinton era and readily identify at least thirty staged events a week....that were arranged around either Bill Clinton or Al Gore. Bush?   Yeah, he had staging but it was probably six to ten a week.  Barak Obama?  Somewhere between ten and twenty stagings a week.

Trump stagings?  I'd readily agree....the last six months....he's been staging stuff at least twenty to thirty times a week.  

My argument with Newsweek? Mostly that they are thirty years behind the era and the team is mostly juvenile in terms of skill and journalistic behavior.
