Gen-Z Topic

I don't watch much Fox News anymore....maybe five minutes in an entire week.  So this business item came up a day or two ago, and it's been on my mind....about Gen-Z.

Roughly three-quarters of parents of Gen-Z 'kids'....admit that they help the kid complete work assignments.  I assume....they mean spreadsheet and data collection....which the kid takes home.

The boss probably sits and 'thinks' that the new-hire did it himself/herself.

Bringing a parent to the job interview....probably to boost confidence.

But then you have 45-percent of Gen-Z kids who have mom or dad talk to the manager....to re-assure him....about some situation or mess.

If I were the boss....the minute I got the impression....parents were deep into my business structure and the Gen-Z kid could only function with 'guidance'?  I'd let the kid go (he can't stay).

All of this begs the question....was the parent doing the same BS when the kid was in high school, and college?

Six Random Thoughts

 1.   I watched a 90-minute 'debate'....one single pro-capitalist versus 20 anti-capitalists (really....they are communists and it seemed like all were between 18 and 30 years old.

At the conclusion....I noted two things.

First, the anti-capitalists always seemed to have zero-interest in what the capitalist guy said or suggested.  They seemed unfocused (constantly).

Second, in terms of persuasion-points....where viewers were sitting there and might lean toward something....the anti-capitalists pretty much lost each single point.

2.  The more I see on this Fed Governor Lisa Cook (with the mortgage paper problems)....the more I'm convinced she has less than the average IQ...considered to be '100'.

3.  I watched a interview with two parents, and a journalist:

Reporter: At what age do you think a child can tell they're trans?

Liberal parent: Our child told us at 1 and a half-years-old.

I'm just wondering if the kid (age: 18 months) had said he wanted a pet lion....if they would have gotten him one.

4.  Trump on Biden's pardons: "It looks to me like those pardons are worthless."

By the end of 2026....I expect arrests to occur....the pardons be deemed 'unqualified' and journalists mostly trying to convince people they were legit when signed by the machine.

5.  At some magical moment....enough of a Muslim society will exist in the UK....to take down LGBTQ entirely....in a matter of just 100 days.   It'll freak people out to such an extent....that there's a mad rush of everyone....to leave the isle.

6.  If you sat and listed out forty top values/points of the Democratic Party in 2025....I doubt that there's more than three that I might lean towards.  In 1978?  Of 40 in that era....I might have leaned toward 10 to 20.  What happened over 50 years?

My Gut Feeling On Bringing Back Insane Asylums?

The President says the time has come.  My interpretation?

There are three issues: (1) Democrats will say it's crazy to bring them back, (2) most mental health 'experts' will not vouch for 'Marty', 'Woodrow', or 'Charley' being crazy....even if forty non-experts suggest the the trio are nuts, and (3) this facility design is more for nutcases, than alcoholics or drug-addicts or low-IQ types.

First, I agree....you could  select forty plainly crazy folks, and most all Democrats would vouch for them that they were sane.

Second, I agree....experts are no longer valid...even if they have a title of Doctor-so-V-so.

Third, I agree....you need three separate type of facilities. One has to be for druggies/alcoholics....to dry out for three months. A second has to be for burnt-out braincell folks and low-IQ types....just to live out the remainder of their life.  Then you need a pure nut-house for those who can't live in a civilized society.  I wouldn't mix the three into one facility.

No....I wouldn't have any of these in some urbanized areas (like NY City, downtown SF, or Dallas-City).  I'd pick rural and rustic locations.

I'd have a state judge assigned to each facility....representing that state.

Public support?  You can go state by state, and find some states will have 70-plus percent of folks  wanting 'something' to happen.  You can also go to SF or NYC....to find fewer than 30-percent wanting 'something' to happen.

Numbers for the 1930s?  Nothing factual....but generally, it's believed that by 1940....there were in the range of 400k to 500k housed in some  facility.  If I were using the 'curve' and guessed here....out of present society....probably in the range of 1.5-million needs to be housed in 'something'.

Also...just a humble opinion....probably 25-percent of the jail/prison population of the nation....probably needs this type of situation....rather than remaining in jail.

Ten Things I Learned From The Air Force Chow Hall Over 22 Years

1.  If you walked in with low expectations....you were always happy.

2.  Yes, there were always random food poisoning events (1977 @  Sheppard AFB...they had to shutdown the chow-hall for a weekend and throw everything out).

3.  There's a rotating schedule of  x-dinners.....once you figured this out....you could mark off 12 evening dinners a month as 'crap'.

4.  Approximately 50-percent of the time....whatever pastry they had for breakfast....was probably 3 days stale/rock-hard.

5.  Chicken always came out of a freezer-bag and was crap.

6.  In the first five years of my military time.....for lunch, I either ate grilled ham/cheese sandwiches or hamburgers. It was the only thing they made in front of you....that you felt was not screwed-up.

7.  Mid-night chow was probably the best meal to attend...but around 1980...they made a rule you had to be on duty and in a uniform.

8.  I can't think any coffee worse, than chow-hall coffee.

9.  From my first ten years of using their 'service'....I got the  impression that none of the chow-hall cooks were skilled in anything other than opening cans and heating food.

10. The best chow-hall I ever used....was a the Incirlik-Turkey operation....appropriately named 'Satans-Inn'.  Most of the cooks were Turks and they were pretty liberal with herbs/spices.

Eight Random Thoughts

 1.  No matter how you view things....in the end, you are held accountable for the stupidity/nutty behavior of those under you.

2.  I'll just say it.....there are a infinite number of mental illnesses, and I suspect the number expands by 5-percent every full moon.

3. You can live beyond your means....until the day comes when you start counting pennies as a plus-up, or you can only drink cheap Pabst-Blue-Ribbon beer.

4.  If you go and read the text of this Minnesota transwoman shooter (now  dead)....oddly enough, he comes to blame two things for his ending (his mother, and cannabis).  I assume he used the high-thc content weed, while listening to his mother's advice.

5.  People who seem to be die-hard anti-capitalists....seem to believe we just haven't ever gone full-blown true-socialistic yet.

6.  Most people don't grasp....if you order a sub-sandwich.....the meat on it is the cheapest of the cheap lunch-meats that you can procure.

7.  I think if you really categorized things....more than 90-percent of Americans will be considered 'fringe' or 'unconventional'.....to the left and right.

8.  We are reaching a point where liberals and conservatives both seek out 'safe-spaces', yet....neither want the other within their safe-space.

How Ten Events Might Conclude?

 1. John Bolton.  As charges mount, and the prosecution starts talking 20 years and the crappy fed prison situation....Bolton will likely be offered some deal of 10 years of fed-prison (the nicer place), and admit guilt.  Tax troubles over hidden income?  That will come next and wipe out most all of his overseas income.

2.  CBS has a profits drain, and will likely go to some let-go deal of five of their big-ticket moderators.

3.  Cracker Barrel will quietly in early 2026....let the CEO exit, and undo most of the changes, but bump prices up by 20-percent....while trying to go back to original cooking (instead of frozen-food warming-up).  The new style of buildings?  My guess is that this will continue ahead.

4.  This burning of the flag  business.  Based on Trump's EO....if you do this in a public setting to incite people.....you end up in court and charged.  Grand Jury dilemma?  Well....the question is...are you doing this to get people riled-up/incited?  If so....your case goes to the next level.  I could see 3,000 for the remaining months of 2025....getting incitement charges and most convicted.

The odd thing....it ends up as a felony conviction, and the 'boys' in prison will be asking you how you got there.  Burning a flag....will you back for the remainder of your life....as a felony conviction.

5.  Decline of Vegas?

By the end of 2026....a minimum of 20k city residents will have exited the city, with properties rapidly dropping 10-to-20 percent in value.

6.   Some report by the end of 2025 will indicate that over 3-million homes are in a section-8 situation and  the resident is NOT an American citizen.

7.  Some Wal-Marts in 2026 will have a $5 off your purchase deal....if you allow them to examine the cart before exiting....to cut back on shop-lifting.

8.  Mental-health specialists in 2026 will start to treat obsessive people who are anti-capitalists.

9.  Crisis-actors and fake-protest-actors....will start to be dragged into court because they failed to report their 'extra-income'....amounting to more than $20k a year  for full-time actors.

10.  Finally,  a majority of people (80-percent or more) will start to admit whenever Governor Newsom come on  TV....they mute the set within 5 seconds.

My Theory On Manifesto-Intellectuals

After reviewing a fair bit on the shooting in Minneapolis this past week, with the transwoman....I'll offer my belief on these people who seem to think they are manifesto-intellectuals, and needing to write of the great wrongs in society, life and the 'demons' they need to defeat.

Most people go through their entire life....never writing a manifesto.   No one collects such data....if you asked me......less than five people per 10,000 get into this habit.  Most went to some college environment, or had a higher-than-average IQ.

Once you finished writing your manifesto...whether three pages, or sixty pages....it's  rarely ever read by anyone, unless of course you go out in some blaze of glory, and then 3-million folks will read your manifesto.

I've probably read a total of seven manifestos over my entire life.   It's not really science stuff....collected data....or even factual.  I'd lean more toward it being perceived things.

Adolf Hitler’s Mein Kampf (published in 1925) a manifesto?  Yes.  Awful wordy, and mostly a statement of perceived things (things to blame).

The Communist Manifesto (1848) by Karl Marx and Friedrich Engels, a manifesto? Yes.  It fits for early 1800s civilization....not modern society.

Common Sense (1776) by Thomas Paine, a manifesto?  Absolutely.

Always written by someone mentally ill?  No....you can't make that case.

Most always...the guy writing this...reaches some level where he wants you see things his way, and fix the wrongs.

The one odd factor I've noted?  Well....it's roughly 99-percent of guys who write manifesto crap.  I have no idea why women avoid this....maybe they got better things  to do. Maybe they've already fixed most of the wrongs in society.
