Movie Review: The Lobster (2015)

If you are up and have some connection to streaming video, and come across the Lobster.....you ought to review the movie.

Angle?  Well...things have fallen apart in Europe (in the future), and David (chief character) has been brought to a resort hotel.

David has this issue....his woman/wife....up and left him.

In this future time....the government has decided that as a single guy, it's best to be mated up (even if she is an idiot), or you will be 'dissolved' into being an animal (your choice).  The rest deal is for 45 days, and other guests are there....hoping to hook up as well.

It's safe to say....virtually all the women that David bumps into....for a number of days....are nutcases.

There are various propaganda pieces presented by the hotel....to demonstrate being a couple is swell stuff.

I won't ruin your viewing of this....but will say that nothing much works out in the end.

They made this low-budget piece for about $4-million, and worldwide distribution netted around $18-million.

It's safe to say that whatever the government has as some good intent.....probably went the opposite direction in the end.
