Theater Chatter

The NY Post wrote up a piece last week...entitled 'Movie theaters are trying everything to bring audiences back.'

Basically, ever since Covid....theaters are in a spiral, and can't get people to show up.

Part of the problem?  I would suggest for the past decade....it's been a crappy production element at play....making movies that you really don't care to view.  There was a period in the mid-70s....where for a year or two...it was crap.  Presently?  We are working on five to six consecutive years of mostly crap.

Another element?  If you were fairly stupid and putting $200-million at risk....making another Marvel 'loser'....you probably will just turn enough to break even.

1991, the last time I was in a theater was IMAX in Seattle for the Rolling Stones concert movie.
.
I went with my chiropractor buddy and her two adult offspring.
I had a wonderful time, me and my Raisenets.
She concluded Keith and Mick and the fellows hate women.
Her adult son bragged about shoplifting earrings from the gift-shop.
.
I guess I shouldn't let little things bother me.
That was also my last time in Seattle.
These days, I would need a convoy of Bradley Fighting Vehicles for a run to the grocery store.
I feel the same about pornland Oregon, San Franeedle, and that Los Angeles mess.
