I asked AI (Grok).....how many law degree folks NEVER pass the bar?
AI says it's around 8-to-12 percent (depending on the state).
At some point in my Air Force career....I worked under a junior officer who'd done a law degree, and failed twice on the bar. His plan 'B'? After a brief talk with the Air Force recruitment folks....he signed up and became a intel-officer.
I asked how the four years of instruction were....compared to the bar exam. His belief? He was mostly focused on grades, and never really diving deep into what the bar exam was about. Maybe if the school had spent the last year....talking bar exam study/facts.....things would be different.
I paused over this....thinking.....if I ran some college law school, and statistics showed 30-to-40 percent of graduates failed the bar exam the first time around....I might be worried about the value of the school and it's teachings.
