No one really talks about this, but somewhere over the next two years...it's quiet likely that President Biden will face an end-point and the cognitive issues will disqualify him. So at that point, we arrive at the President Harris era.
What happens then, in terms of dealing with Trump?
Harris is simply not a candidate who attracted any public attention in the primary period of 2020. She actually wrapped up her campaign on 3 Dec 2019....before even arriving at Iowa. So she didn't even get a chance in her home-state of California (Joe came in second with 27-percent of the vote).
There will not be a single week from that point on....where Harris will have some gain, and the whole period left (whether it's one year or three years) will be attached to some campaign position (Harris versus Trump).
It's silly to imagine this scenario, but this is how crapped-out this whole thing thing has been constructed and played-out.
Getting the Democratic House members charged up and focused on some Harris agenda? Don't count on much occurring.
This is a lousy poker hand to be handed, and there's just no real way of winning (in 2022 or 2024) at this point.
