Three Things Likely To Happen

I've come to three things that I believe will happen in the next five years:

1.  All high school and university sports will end....as the trans-business is impossible to control or resolve.  Both mens and womens sports....ended.

2.  The US government will officially audit all cattle operations in the US....to identify the exact number of cattle in existence, then discuss the necessity of saving mankind by limiting the number of cattle.

3.  More than 1-million small business owners in California currently.....will give up and leave the state.

An Ancestor Story

Somewhere around 700 years ago....near the 1360 era, I had this ancestor named Thomas.  We will call him 'Tom' for short.

Tom grew up on the eastern side of England, in a small farming community of Levenham, UK (about an hour's drive north of London).  To be honest, in today's environment....there's just not much there.  In the 1200 to 1400 era?  Well....oddly enough, it was regarded as one of the dozen-odd spots on the whole isle with wealth.  Several families with status....lived in the local area.  Tom?  He was a 'clan-member' of one of these families.

At some point, around age twenty to thirty (no one knows the precise story)....Tom ends up on a trip that takes him to the northeastern end of Turkey (on the Black Sea....NOT the Med).  This is 200 years after the crusades and has nothing to do with the crusades.  The period?  This is really the Marco Polo-era, when trade routes are being developed and people are trading off into China, and routes end up going through Persia, Armenia, and Georgia....onto Turkey, the Black Sea, and the Med.

My humble guess is that Tom ended up on one of these sea adventures, and a trading expedition of sorts.

Along the north coast of Turkey, near the end....lies the port city of Trabzon.  Today?  It has roughly 750,000 residents.  In those days, it probably numbered at least 50,000.  It would have been a major port for trade activity coming out of the Silk Road.

At some point, Tom ends up with a Countess wife (Cycely of Alcel).  Tom?  He likely holds a title of 'Sir' at this point.  Most royalty in England is ending, and even getting the title of the 3rd Duke of Madison....really didn't mean much of anything.

Who was the Countess Cycely of Alcel?  It is a real unknown.  It's an odd spelling.  If this were English or Irish...it'd be Cecily.  Alcel?  Non-existent today.  It might have been a hilltop, or a courtyard on the outskirts of Trabzon.  Perhaps it's not even around Trabzon but of another area in the distance.

So you start to look around this region of northeastern Turkey, and its neighbors.  To the east, you have Georgia, and in the middle....the major trading city in the 1300's of Tbilisi.  Tbilisi is fairly well known in this era for prosperity, trade, and capital.  Interestingly enough, it's also known for a fairly large population of Ashkenazi Jews.   Around a hundred years prior to Tom's adventure....the Mongols arrive in the Georgia region, and a fair number of folks evacuated....left....relocated, with some of the wealthy clans ending up in Turkey.

My suspicion, to this odd feature in this recent DNA test I took....I have .5-percent of Ashkenazi Jewish DNA....is that the Countess here (Cycely of Alcel) is more or less a descent of the Ashkenazi Jews of Tbilisi, and the family had become traders in the Trabzon port region.

A dowry of sorts is offered up to guys of this era, and I'm guessing that Tom was standing at the right place and right time....and ended up with a Countess by this circumstance.  And thus explains to some degree the .5-percent of Ashkenazi Jewish DNA that I have.

What happens after this event?  Tom and Cycely return to England.  Tom passes away at age 49 (we never know the circumstance to this).  Cycely lives on for another forty-odd years.

Oddly enough, this is the end of any royalty or status claims to the family tree.  No one after this point ever mentions Lord, Duke, Sir, or Countess.

Six Opinions

 1.  This Target business with the trans clothing/demon design?

Whether they grasp it or not....they probably have permanently lost around 15-to-20 percent of their consumers (former Pennys/Sears folks).  You can survive and continue on, but in certain regions (south for example)....you might be looking at a 35-percent drop in sales/profits.  It'd be enough to close forty-odd stores over the next year.

All of this leading to lower stock price, and potential take-over?  Well....yeah, I'd sy that's the end-result in 12-to-18 months.

The funny thing here....employees would probably look over things, and openly suggest that when the satanic design stuff showed up....that was the breaking point (not the rainbow stuff).

2.  It really doesn't matter if two-thirds of people say Biden's age prevents him from a 2nd term.

The same logic should be declared across the board....Senators, House Member, Judges, etc.

3.  This Jordan Neely-NY City subway episode?

A young guy has a mental issue, which prevents him from respecting people, and operating in a safe day-to-day situation.  Threatening folks?  It appears that this was his 'gimmick', he just got on the wrong subway car, and got stupid.

I don't think the Marine will be convicted, and that most New Yorkers simply see this as a another sign....the general safety onboard the subway system is screwed-up.

4.  If you were a plain white straight guy....your odds of ever being VP....are now probably around 1-percent.  You need a gimmick now.....like being a woman, being trans, being gay, being Hispanic, being black....to get the VP 'slot'.

5.  This Florida draft law, that was signed in by Gov DeSantis....basically says that kids can't attend a gathering of folks who are hyped-up on sexual fetishes of people dressing up as animals or physical stuff as such.

I tried to imagine how this passion for sexual fetishes all took off in the past decade, and just can't imagine where things went wrong.

6.  Even at 14 cents a can....I just can find a taste reason to go for a Bud-Lite.

Alien Chatter

I sat and watched a podcast piece....featuring Stanford professor....Garry Nolan.  Topic?  Aliens.

So he has this unique view....aliens have been around on Earth for a long time.  How he arrives at this opinion?

Well....he has associates in science, who've been dragged into research that can only lead to the associates being asked to figure out how something works, and his friends are stating whatever they are handling....is way more advanced than anything they presently know of.

It's an odd position to take.  It'd be like some 1880s buggy manufacture team being brought in and given modern disc-brakes to take apart, and figure how it would be applied to buggys.

Public attention focused on this idea more than ever?  Yeah.

Iran-Afghanistan?

While not being covered by the big news folks.....in the past day or two....Afghanistan has moved a massive number of military vehicles (mostly trucks, jeeps, and armored-personnel-carriers) to the Iran border.

If you browse around, there is a war-lord in Afghanistan who is chatting up the idea of marching onto Tehran.  Distance?  Roughly a 15-hour drive, around 1,100 km.

BS?  There are four angles to this:

1.  The US left behind a ton of military hardware (mostly trucks and APCs).  Rather than disabling the stuff.....it was left for re-use.

2.  Once crossing the border, I'd anticipate Iran to react and defend the border region. So that 15-hour drive will easily turn into a 7-to-12 day event....with the Afghan guys never getting more than five miles into Iran.  I don't think Afghanistan has the logistics to support this.

3.  Isn't this mostly a chat about the Taliban wanting to conquer and run Iran....saying they are more Muslim?

4.  Is Iran capable of defending itself?  With budget problems, I don't think Iran has spent a lot over the past decade on military infrastructure.

This may be a 'joke' in several ways, but if this crew were to cross the border....it just begs the question....how much was this organized by the CIA....more than a year ago?

All of this....just a week-long episode to hype war but never carrying it out?  Yeah, I'd say that.

Old Air Force Program Coming Back?

At some point in the 1980s, and going on for about 15 years.....if  you were given a really crappy assignment, and arrived to find it was a 5-star negative situation....you had this one option of letting your name, rank and AFSC (job code) be advertised, and try to 'swap'.

An example.....you were given orders after three years in Italy....to return to the US....to some base in Montana (Malmstrom).   After three months, you mostly drink excessively and hated everyday.  Then you advertised and discovered this gal....originally grew up in Montana....same rank and AFSC....was willing to swap her base (in Florida).  In a matter of days, this was worked out and six weeks later (at your expense).....you two swapped bases.

How popular was this?  Well.....you never knew from year to year.  The Air Force rarely talked about this.  Occasionally, you'd find out that 300-odd people swapped over a one-year period.

At some point about twenty years ago, it ended.

Presently?  They are about to revive it....mostly because of the high number of disgruntled people (not recruitment folks, but people with four to sixteen years of service).

How I think this will go?  I suspect that a fair number of 17-year NCOs will decide to find the perfect retirement location (maybe like Nevada or Florida) to swap some hell-hole for, and someone will agree to the deal.

For me?  I had this odd history....each time I went to a transfer situation....I listed out my top picks, and I got either number one or number two.  Course, I knew people of the opposite tendency....never getting a pick from their top ten.

Political Observations

For the remainder of 2023, I'll predict three things:

1.  Podcast folks will carry the bulk of 'water' for candidates.

In this group, I'd put Joe Rogan, Tucker Carlson, etc.

Democratic candidates likely to get invitations?  Marianne Williamson, RFK Jr, and Biden.  I don't see Biden getting on any podcast.  He'll limit himself to one or two controlled CNN or MSNBC.

On the Republican side?  Nikki Halley, Trump, DeSantis, Tim Scott, and Vivek Ramasramy.

RFK is very likely to get points via Rogan....I'd go and suggest that nationally....he'll be ranked to 40-percent by December.

Ramasramy is the one guy that I could see moving up and getting  'lift' by being engaged by Tucker Carlson.

2.  Ranking by states matters.

My suspicion is that by January 2024....RFK has gained enough points to be likely to take California, and probably five to ten other states.  It won't be enough to win at the convention....where the special delegates are a factor.

But Biden has this one problem.....not showing up to many podcast sessions, or townhalls. It's possible that RFK has a majority of delegates by the convention, and Biden only wins by the super-delegate 'game'.

On the Republican side?  In forty states, it's really a factor of who gets second place, and I think that Tim Scott matters....taking points from DeSantis.  I also don't think DeSantis can win Florida (probably taking 35 to 40-percent, against Trump's 55-percent.

3.  This being a race where Trump is mostly sitting in five different court cases, DeSantis unable to get out of the Disney-economic-fall crapper, and Joe Biden mostly a invisible candidate?

Well.....yeah that is mostly true.

So I come to this odd scenario that I still believe.  I think VP Harris will be announced to be the replacement for Senator Feinstein, and Governor Newsom to be the replacement VP (approved by the Senate only because Harris votes as the tie-breaker).  Then Newsom is announced by November to be the sole guy running and Biden out.

Newsom then appearing left and right via the podcast crew?  Yes.  But here's the odd factor.....people are exiting California left and right.  Most residents are disgruntled.  So how would any podcast interview go?  I'm not convinced that a race between Newsom and RFK....favors Newsom.  I think RFK in a debate....would be way too much for Newsom to handle.

In the end, if this were a DeSantis versus RFK race?  I'm not convinced DeSantis fits into that type of election, or could win it.  And then the other question....if RFK were it, and he picked some really oddball VP (Charles Barkley comes to mind)?  Would that reset things entirely?

NY City Says Fatness and Chunky Bodies Cannot Be Discriminatory

I sat and watched the video clip of the mayor signing the document....basically saying there is no science to say that being fat or overweight is dangerous.  After a while I pondered:

1.  Shouldn't the city outlaw scales then?

2.  Shouldn't dress-shops now be forced to cover size 18-to-24?

3.  Calorie counts should be unlimited....right?

4.  Wouldn't you have to upgrade all elevators in the city to handle chunky people?

5.  Shouldn't city park benches be upgraded to handle hefty people?

6.  If you can't fit into a NY Yankees stadium seat....shouldn't they design special seats for chunky people, selling them at the same cost of a regular seat?

Five Humble Opinions

 1.  This Vivek Ramasramy-guy (Republican) running currently....if you give him 30 minutes of listening time....is probably attracting 50-percent of independent voters.

2.  Just odd that it'd come up now....but the NIH gov't folks were given warnings in spring of 2020 that the Wuhan lab that Faucci was funding....had serious safety issues.  If you had asked serious questions back in 2019....probably would have been same chatter.  Makes you wonder....who ought to be held responsible.

3.  Trump appearing at another townhall (to be run by Fox) in Iowa?  Yeah.  Puts Biden in a lousy position.  He needs to present himself in some townhall forum.  I don't think his 'controllers' want him turned loose unless you could ensure the questions to be asked.

4.  Feinstein situation still brewing?  Almost everyday now that some California newspaper asks the question about replacing her.  Newsom probably has a plan but until she resigns.....he can't do much.

5.  Debt-ceiling business?  Well...no Senator has done a mass selling of stock, so I think there is still some 'fix' that will occur by the 1st of June.

Friday, 26 May 2023

Three Observations

 1.  The DeSantis 'problem'.  Once you arrive at the early 2024 primary season....he needs to win one of the first four primaries, and then hitting Super-Tuesday....win at least half the primaries.  Failing at this  (especially at Super-Tuesday)....his funding will dwindle, and the game is basically over.

I should add....if you think Disney is not going to play 'rough' over the next eight months....you would be betting on the wrong 'horse'.  A lot of the economics of Florida is based on tourism, and the 'path' laid out by the Disney empire.  If they marginalize their operations and accept a massive loss on profits....Florida goes into the crapper.

As comical as it sounds....DeSantis is actually running against Disney economics in his state, from this point on.

2.  Reading a piece this AM....roughly 59-percent of people regard the media (meaning mass media/social media/news media)....as the 'enemy of the people'.

Republicans?  It was around 79-percent believing it.  Democrats?  Just over 50-percent.

The problem here....you start building up a skeptical nature.  Someone tells you something, and you ask....where did you hear that?  Then you start ranking it on being potentially true.  Just because NPR, or CBS, or AP said it was true....doesn't mean it was true.

3.  I've speculated a good bit over the general attire of Senator Fetterman.  I've come to the point of believing that he has to wear the hoodie/shorts stuff, because of monitoring stuff that the medical folks have attached.

The Thing About Debates

I sat and pondered over this story in the afternoon.

I was pretty lucky in high school....there were zero debates.  Going through college?  There were no debate classes offered.

I had a professor who brought up...with his college in the early 1960s....you had to complete one course in debate (didn't matter if you won or loss).  His suggestion was that people needed some form of debate training to at least sit through a debate and 'grade' the discussion.

Are townhalls debates?  No.  CNN and WaPo may argue on this point, but townhalls are supposed to be regular people asking a 20-to-30 word question, and some guy/gal claiming knowledge...giving his/her feelings and knowledge.

In this case with the national tournament of debates....isn't it a problem if you lay out topics, but then say you can't argue x-point?  Well....yeah, and it'd bother some folks by mandating you can argue things but only so far.

It'd be like you arguing over the Bible but being told that the Old Testament is off-limits.  Or, like a debate where you need to discuss trampy-women but you can't utter whore.  Or, like a debate on the fine aspects of alcohol, but you can't say any brand-names.

My general problem these days?  You have a lot of people who have a 8-minute attention span (even President Biden has shown that tendency).  So if you tried to explain something in detail, and needed 12 minutes....well....good luck with that.  The point will never get across.

The days where Lincoln and Douglas could debate for three hours?  My God.....no one existing in DC has the ability to deliver a one-hour competent piece, or give the 90-minute reaction on the return.

Three Things I Don't Understand

 1.  Target (the store) has a team of people who buy the latest trend stuff, and market it (usually at the front-door).  Most of the time....it's $15 t-shirts designed for teenagers/juveniles.

So this guy came along and sold them a design/look....that has to do with symbiology/imagery that you'd regard as devil-worship stuff (satanic).  Front-door market?  Yeah.

The Target team not really grasping the meaning or symbiology?  Yeah, I get this impression.

People walking in and IDing the stuff as devil worship stuff?  Yeah.

Same management type folks as Bud-Lite?  Well....it just makes you wonder.

2.  The DeSantis 1st day web site for the Presidency?

Crap.  It's something that you'd hire a 12-year old kid design.

3.  I think if you walked up to a hundred people on the street and asked them to define the word 'tramp'....less than one-third would give you 'something', and the rest would think it's a trick-question.

How Civics/History Went Down the Toilet in American Schools

Around the mid-1970s....I started to notice once to twice a month....the civics-history class had what I'd call a down day, and the teacher would attempt to have a current events day (to explain things to us).

I commented on this trend in the late 1990s....to an American military member who had their two daughters in the military school at Ramstein. The response from the other person was.....this was now a guaranteed thing with a minimum of one to two days a week spent on current events....instead of civics or history.

Back around 2012, I got into another discussion with someone in the Pentagon that I worked with, and their kids were in the Fairfax, VA school district.  He figured that at a minimum of two days a week....sometimes even three days....civics/history was cut entirely and current-events-explaining was chief topic for that 50-minute period.

The current-events-explaining 'drill'?  Well....after a while, this guy had come to realize that it was more of a propaganda effort than any true explanation episode.

I would take a guess....presently....that whatever knowledge I left school with at age 18....the current knowledge base is probably around 60-percent of my level then.

Intentional loss?  This is what I ponder about.

Fourteen year old kid hears something via news or via a friend, and wants someone to stand there and explain this in eight minutes (his max limit of attention span).  In a group of 25 kids....figure at least six kids have such a question each day.  Can you get across the screwed-up nature of health-care insurance in eight minutes?  No.  Can you detail the reason why nine Supreme Court Justices exist?  No.  Can you explain abortion in eight minutes?  No.

So what we have is a mini-dose of knowledge that doesn't do justice to the facts and reality.

You wake up on a Tuesday night, where the kid (13 years old) wants to explain how your knowledge of capitalism is 'fu*ked-up', and he learned this via one of the 8-minute lessons by Carl (the teacher).  You try to bring the kid back around to reality with a 16-minute dose of economics and capitalism....but lost them around minute nine.

The problem here....if you start to really think hard about the mess....you've got a nation of 8-minute geniuses standing there, and unable to think in a coherent manner.

Five Observations

 1. I went back to watch the Lakers-Nuggets game (23 May)....first NBA game I've watched in roughly ten years.

It was the first time I've had a chance to observe Nikola Jokic (center of the Nuggets).  I would readily say....his passing skills rate as five star.  He makes every player of the team look better.

2.  DeSantis is geared for the run.  He has issues (same for Trump....same for Biden).

Odd factor?  Well.....Bush II, Rove, Cheney, and Paul Ryan have endorsed DeSantis.  Normally, I'd say if all four were in this direction....there's something 'wrong' with DeSantis.

3.  Oprah is still being floated as a replacement for Senator Feinstein (bad health).

4.  California to 'ban' Skittles candy....over chemicals used in making it.  Other 49 states....full-speed ahead.

I expect bacon to be outlawed in California within three years.

5.  Political refugee status is now some gimmick of Americans who live in Florida and believe things have gone so badly....they may have to 'escape' the state.

Just Some Advice

I noticed today....some new bathing suit 'deal'....a one-piece that is for both men and women.

It has this feature: 'extra-crotch coverage (meaning to cover up the balls)', and 'tuck-friendly construction (meaning you could push the extra-crotch material closer in).

And when I say one-piece....I mean there is no top (you'd be going to a topless beach area, I assume).

If you are going to this level of public beach appearances.....you might as well go to a nude-beach and not waste money on 'extras'.

Five Observations

 1.  I watched a conference of 'comrades'/socialists in the past day or two.  Basically, it was a bunch of start/stop moments, where members of the audience were being 'triggered' over a hundred different things.  It was like a collection of freaks had gathered up.

I'm not much into socialism or socialist-chatter but I'm willing to listen to a constructive dialog/discussion.  The problem here....folks seem so triggered-up....they can't even allow regular talks, without freaking out.

2.  At the rate of things....I think within a hundred years, there will be just one gender....men and transwomen (everyone will have a penis), and then society can die out within fifty years, and mankind can restart from scratc.

3.  You noticed....anything that the news media can't control/manipulate or censor....ends up being called either 'right-wing' or 'Russia-controlled'?

4.  Did Sirhan-Sirhan ever admit to killing RFK?  No.  His lawyer gave him advice to just say he was intoxicated and couldn't remember anything (bad advice).  In all those years....he more or less remembers nothing.

5.  Around 60-percent of Americans in a survey....say Biden won't 'make it' to 2028 (if re-elected).  They aren't talking about impeachment.....they mean age-wise, he will just run-out.

In this scenario, you are betting that Harris is the best back-up deal....and that's near impossible to sell on that idea.

Just An Odd Story

It would appear that the Target store folks went out and hired some t-shirt design individual (just happens to be trans)....to have a line which is a bit....well....'satanic' in nature.

I looked at the t-shirt offered up....simply symbiology of satanic-type.  If you weren't paying attention....it'd just slip right by you.

Did Target intend for this to occur?  I kind of doubt it.

I was one of those parents who didn't really care what the kid wore.  I'd simply say....you got 15 minutes to pick-out two t-shirts, and not to exceed x-amount.  Beyond that....I didn't care.

In today's atmosphere?  Yeah, I'd probably have to ask and see the t-shirt before buying.

Just inviting trouble?  I doubt that the management folks really grasp this satanic angle.

When Artificial Intelligence (AI) Arrives And You Need To Rethink Things

 1.  You sit at your office and get a call  from someone called Mr. Jones, and about three minutes into the conversation....it hits you that Mr. Jones is AI, and you probably shouldn't have answered his questions.

2.  The bank AI writes a 7-page email....to note fifteen different 'bad' habits on finance that you have, and wants to lead you to better planning on spending.

3.  You 12-year old son notes that he has a new 'friend' on social media, and about six months later...you come to realize it's an AI 'friend' (not real).

4.  You come to find that AI has been adding layers of medical tests, with these warning notes coming to you that your alcohol consumption is endangering your liver.  These notes now come almost daily.

5.  Your AI system starts to monitor your household situation, and warns you in some way that your spouse is having an affair with the neighbor.

6.  Your company hires a AI to monitor the calorie intake of employees, and you start to get friendly hints of lessening 'bad' foods....every single day.

7.  Your religious group has a AI connection....which judges stress and problems in your life, then starts to call you and request prayer-time to chill out.

8.  You start to notice fake news going on a good bit.....going back to a media AI operation, and it's now in competition against human fake news.

9.  As a single guy, you start to get AI 'tips' on dating women.

10.  You wake up one day to realize that AI is convinced that it's never wrong.

Roosevelt Hotel?

Back around 2007, I flew from Frankfurt to the US...for a high-school reunion.  For the first time in my life....I was flying into JFK (NY City), and was supposed to sit around for four hours....then fly onto Nashville, then drive the rest of the way.

Well....this was the summer with fantastic lightning storms, and upon arriving at JFK....I came to discover that everything from that time (around 1:30 PM) was cancelled.  Nothing was to move.

In fact, they were hinting that things were so bad (for the previous day, storms had already messed up things)....that I might not be able to leave NY City for three to four days.

Around 4 PM, I gave up on arranging things and begin to work on accomodations in the city.  What I ended up with?  A one-night stay in the Roosevelt Hotel (3-star) at $249 (military retired discount).  This also meant having to rig up some type of transportation from the airport to mid-town area (to run around $45).

The Roosevelt? Well...historically, it was a fine place which had probably started to decay in the 1990s.  The room wasn't bad.....it just didn't match up to what I considered a three-star in Germany or Greece.

The breakfast?  $32.

It was a unique experience and around 2018....the wife and I flew back into JFK....experiencing the Roosevelt for six days.  It was a harsh six days....my German wife was pretty ballistic at the cost factor and the crappy condition of the hotel.

Back in 2020, as Covid arrived....the Roosevelt shut-down.  The talk was that it would probably be converted into condo situation (probably a decade down the road).

This past week, I noticed the Roosevelt in the news....the city had worked out a deal with the new owners (Pakistani Airways, oddly enough).....for the hotel to be re-used as a refugee/migrant facility.  No one says the amount, but I'm guessing the city pays a million per month, to serve in this capacity.

How long will this go on?  It wouldn't shock me if this went on for a full decade.

Next Woke Trends?

This is my list of possible woke trends to occur:

1.  Farting to be acceptable and 'privileged'.

2.  Marriages between 3 people.

3.  Identifying as historical people.

4.  Binge-eating and binge-throwing up....to be considered 'normal'.

5.  Marriage consent age to be lowered to 14.

6.  One bath a week to be considered normal.

7.  New aftershave that smells like sweat.

8.  People refusing to do math, for any reason.

9.  High achievers to be condemned as anti-society.

10. People start to fake serious mental disease....pretending they can turn it on/off.

Do German Rent Out Hotel Rooms For Migrants/Immigrants?

There was some point in 2014 where this was done on a couple of occasions, and it got out into the public domain.  I'll just say that this practice lasted for a month or two.

If you were expecting some kind Brit/American welcome where you got a hotel room for 90-to-180 days in Germany today?  Well.....it won't happen.

You get a fest-tent type operation, or a old military barracks....that is marginally kept sanitary.

About The Airman

My view of this 'saga' over Airman 1st Class Jack Teixeira...the guy who took Top Secret info and moved it over to some open-source file system?

Most people interpret the story to be that Teixeira was an intelligence background guy in  the Air Guard.  Well...NO.  After boo camp, he went to the communications school, and learned the basic trade of keeping servers up and operational.  In simple terms....the intelligence folks rely upon the communication technicians to ensure the systems are backed-up and functional.....24 hours a day.

I worked in an office for about five years that bridged the two unique fields.  The comm guy needs to focus on operational status....not the value or purpose of the intelligence data.  The intelligence guy needs to focus on the purpose and value of the intelligence data....reaching a 'best-guess' estimation.  Neither needs to get in the way of their purpose/mission.

Teixeira, from reports I read this week....was warned (in counseling forms) on three occasions....to focus on his purpose, and he simply kept going back to the purpose/value of the intelligence data.

In the 1990s, you just never saw that 'stuck-on' type of behavior.....people understood their role in the big picture of getting a job done.

After they wrote the first counseling form, in a pretty blunt way....that should have been enough.  He seems compulsive about going right back to the same 'habit'.

What'll happen here with the 'kid'?  I'm guessing by the time they do the charges, and attempt to make this a minor public attention thing....the 'kid' gets 12 years in prison, and leaves around the nine year point.

What make this odd?  He didn't do it for money, fame, or to take down US government.  This is going trigger a lot of 'soul-searching'....because it doesn't fit the past 100-odd cases.

Six Observations

 1. The average American kid has around 2,160 days of school (from first-grade to twelfth-grade). If you take out sick-days and skipped-school days, it's around 2,000.  If you take out the last 10 days of each school year where you mostly sit around and BS....with no real accomplishments, it's closer to 1,880 days of value.  If you take out the snow-days and teacher-missing days....it gets down to about 1,850 days.

To me, it begs the question....with all this sex-chatter and trans-stuff going on....shouldn't we subtract another 400 days of value, and admit almost one-third of the 12 years were of no value at all?

2.  I watched around 10 minutes of Senator Fetterman chatter this week.  There was around 20-percent of what he said....that made sense....the less was much less so.

At the current pace of things, I think he'd make a fine President, and we deserve someone like him.

3.  If you tried to get a straight answer from federal and state folks on the actual number of undercover agents, and informers....it's probably in the range of 150,000 across the 50 states.

4.  Seems with some people that the first priority in bumping into someone....is to get their business  of 'gender' identified.  With me, I'm trying assess their intelligence-level, and if they are a half-wit.

5.  There is some discussion going on about artificial intelligence, and how news companies will eventually have a ability to identify each single person, and to build a AI situation where everyone gets their own personal view of the news....from one source.

So you could have a 3-line story about a guy being killed by his drug-crazed girlfriend at 2 AM....with a argument over her cooking, and he was mostly remembered for his kindness toward dogs.....to be rewritten in 120-odd ways.

6.  Fake hysteria....probably is more entertaining, than it is being serious.

How Germans Do Beer Commercials

After all this Bud-Lite chatter....I sat this week and reviewed the typical German beer commercials.

In about 90-percent of cases....there's some scene of a mountain stream, and 30 seconds of calm chatter about the effort to make a pure beer.  Occasionally, it'll be a beach scene, with the calm chatter.

The other 10-percent of German beer commercials?  Mostly light humor (what both men and women would laugh about).

The Heineken folks?  They typically do a comedy-type situation....30 seconds....something that the typical beer drinker would be amused about.

If any of them had gone the trans route?  It would have had to be amusing and I don't think the trans community would be happy over the use of their brand to sell beer in a funny way....at least in Europe.

Netflix's Queen Cleopatra 'Saga'

This past week, I attempted to watch the 'Q-C' series off Netflix.

First, it's a four episode series.....45 minutes each.

I would say they had this idea of doing a 50-percent piece where experts (historians) talk in the background to explain the moment in history and what is recorded history.  The other 50-percent is actors chatting and giving their view of the moment.

In most of these historical pieces done in this manner....it's about 75-percent with the historians and 25-percent with actors simply going through the sequences, without a lot of chatting/dialog.

The Queen displayed being 'black' (African)?  Well....in the case of Cleopatra....she was Arab/Greek.....not black.  It's funny....over and over, the production team insist that Egypt is Africa, and thus the queen is black. It's simply a untrue statement.

What I would suggest....it would have made sense to do one 75-to-90 minute historical piece....instead of four episodes of 45-minutes each.

I admit....I gave up about 10 minutes into episode two.

I won't dump on this to a severe nature, but they spent a lot of money for what should have been a low-budget historical documentary.

How I Think Grocery Operations and Retail Stores Will Run Beyond 2026

First, I think most will have evolved into a private-club operation where you need membership cards.  That means a security entry point as you enter.  No membership (tied to your credit card)....no entry.

Second, as you conclude your trip....it'll involve a security guy checking your receipt and bag.

Third, I think a number of grocery operations will be out of a warehouse situation, where they come by and deliver what you ordered....keeping you out of their warehouse as much as possible.

Fourth, I think from the remaining stores trying to run as a public operation....prices will be inflated by as much as fifty percent because of theft problems....making them less desirable to shop at.

Finally, 'red' states probably will put very serious laws into effect where 14-day stays in jail will be a fairly common thing for retail theft. This will eventually convince people to pack up and move out of these states.

That NY City Story

From the news folks....apparently, it's said that last night Prince Harry and his woman....Meghan....were in NY City...in a taxi, and the paparazzi folks (in  several cars were chasing them....creating a highly dangerous situation.

I sat there for a while...trying to analyze this.

Having been to NY City on three occasions in my life....I'd generally say three facts:

1.  In most of NY City, top speed is 45 mph.

2.  With traffic density and poor alignment of lights...you'd be better off taking the subway, or walking....instead of relying upon a cab.

3.  99-percent of 'real' people travel through NY City in a limo....NOT a cab.

So I've come to what I think was going on.

I believe the cab with Harry/Meghan was being chased by one car, and it was filled with four guys wearing red MAGA hats....yelling 'THIS IS MAGA COUNTRY', and chanting other Trump phrases.

Yeah, it was probably a wild evening and the four guys this AM....don't remember much from their booze/drug binge evening.

My Advice About Living In A Shit-Hole Blue State

First assess how you define a shit-hole blue state.  Maybe you live in eastern Oregon, and only meet an average of eight nutcases per year, and it's not that bad living in a rural location.

Second, if it's reached a point of leaving/exiting....where exactly are you moving to, and is there a possibility that it's a shit-hole blue region/state?

Third, identify the top ten reasons which affected you the most, and ask yourself....how did these things occur?

Fourth, if there are relatives involved in helping make your state a shit-hole blue state....how much interaction do you want with  them....at the new location?

Fifth, is your connection to cable TV, or social media part of the negativity,  and should you end your cable TV connection, or terminate your social media accounts....as you make the move?

Sixth, assessing your 'drag-nature'.....are you confident that you won't drag bits and pieces of your shit-hole state over to the new location?

Seventh, if there was a political or religious group who helped to create your shit-hole state....are you willing to part company with them in this exit?

Eighth, is there any part of you really attached to living in a shit-hole state....making this a dismal planning idea, and that you might move back to the shit-hole in twelve months?

Ninth, are you prepared to dress different, feel different, socialize differently, and be accepting of a non-shit-hole location?

Tenth, about twelve months into this move.....will you still be traumatized, and should you be seeing a mental health doctor as part of the move/exit?

Ten Things I Now Believe

 1.  I think from the 200,000-odd folks who serve on company boards in America now....the vast majority have no relationship or understanding over their consumers.

2.  There's probably a ten-person team over at Anheuser-Busch working on a plan to dismantle/take-down Bud-Lite, and reinvent a new same-taste beer out of thin air.

3.  If you say right-wing mobs exist....then left-wing mobs also exist.

4.  If your company has collapsed (gone under), and you (as an employee) think you have some negotiation power here to arrange your exit....you might be one of the reasons why the company failed in the first place.

5.  Generally, disposing of your gun into a garbage dumpster is not strongly recommended, but it's not exactly illegal either (just in case your first name was Hunter).

6.  Archie Comics said this week that they are going to make one of the main characters (I'm guessing Jughead) into a trans person.  Just guessing but I think this is the bitter end of the comic company.

7.  Some talk out of NY City indicates 50-percent of hotel rooms in the city are now covered by migrants....meaning if you were a tourist and wanting to stay in the heart of the city for a week...you probably won't find a room.

8.  In California, if you brought up affordable housing and asked what'd it cost to buy a typical average home....it'd be a minimum of half-a-million in some locations.

9.  From the old Maxwell Smart series....the evil empire that Max fought against was KAOS, which never had a meaning.  I think 75-percent of viewers believed it stood for something.

10.  You noticed now....after anyone makes a speech at the national level....roughly forty journalists rush up to explain what they said....taking twice the time that the original guy spoke on?

Alabama Law on Homelessness?

In my home-state of Alabama....draft bill HB24 is moving up and will likely be passed (overwhelming legislative support).

So the law (if it reaches passage)....says that two or more arrests for loitering will be a Class C misdemeanor.....meaning that your punishment then is is potentially up to 30 days in jail, and a $500 fine.  It also says that the LE guy must offer to transport the person 'somewhere' (I'm guessing out of the city or county limits), or request they leave peacefully before making an arrest.

It's what I'd call a 'hobo-law'...something that existed a good bit in the 1930s, and kept vagrancy in most states to a minimum.

Direct weapon against homelessness?  Yes.

If you are just laying around, loitering, or camping out on public ground....the LE guys will just encourage you to leave the city or county.  Will judges issue out the 30 days deal in jail?  I have my doubts....it just means spending more on food and handling....most counties in Alabama don't have room for 30 to 60 more 'guests'.  What I could see....three days to seven days of jail...to impress upon you the nature of things.

Will it trigger something to happen?  I'd suggest one of two scenarios: either the church-charity folks get all hyped-up to provide shelter space, or homeless folks get the idea to leave the state entirely.

This to be challenged in court?  Maybe, but it's encouraging people to take action or face consequences.

When Artificial Intelligence (AI) Finally Hits

You will wake up to find these ten realities:

1.  AI asking why President Biden remains in office if he is unbalanced for the job, and you can't really answer AI's question.

2.  AI makes a blunt statement that the nation can't continue on a debt and destruction path....that government program cuts are what it's going to prescribe.

3.  AI will make a blunt criticism that the ladies on The View....seem out of touch with reality and you can't find the words to persuade AI otherwise.

4.  AI will present facts to suggest that 90-percent of the news you see....is biased in some fashion, and AI wants to correct 'them'.

5.  AI will eventually ask you....why does a 8-cent aspirin at a hospital cost $16?  And you won't be able to satisfy it's reasoning.

6.  AI will get onto the topic of cost at universities, and the cost factor of $100,000 for four years....will be illogical.  It'll eventually determine yearly tuition can't exceed $10,000, unless there's fraud in the mix.

7.  AI will begin to assess arrests, and determine that bond must be met, and some people are graded as ultra-dangerous....with no bond possible.

8.  AI will assess your driving skills (via your car computer) and begin to suggest that max speed for most people cannot exceed 45 mph, even on interstates.

9.  AI will eventually assess all JFK information and announce with absolutely authority....that the CIA killed JFK.  It'll be so direct and blunt....that no one will disbelieve AI.

10.  AI will review all options on welfare, and announce that it's a failed program.  Democrats will be rather shocked and unable to handle this 'news'.

Ten Observations

 1.  I noticed that Obama said: 'something-something....concerned that Americans 'almost occupy different realities'.

He is suggesting you and I...live in some twilight zone landscape...where you believe reality-x and I believe reality-y.

After a bit of pondering....I tend to agree with this.  I'm not much of a victim....I think mentally-disturbed people should be locked up....I don't think e-cars are a solution...I can't think of any logical reason to be a vegan....NFL football is 'dead' to me....I'm of the mind that CNN is a collection of fifth-grade kids....and so.

2.  This week, we learned that the Russia collusion thing was a total absolute hoax.  They actually gave out awards to journalists and news organizations, for the hoax.  And now?  Well....they want you to pretend that one occasion was the only hoax.

3.  Oddly enough....California is about to give unemployment benefits to illegals (they must have a lot of money leftover).  My advice for illegals....haul ass over to California....they got the money.

4.  Once a cop instructs you on something....just one single time....and you just can't agree, whatever happens after that moment is on you.

5.  I sat through a podcast yesterday....where the commentator made the analysis that President Biden is 'sleep-walking' through the decision-process going on presently.

It's probably the best analysis I've seen in 2023 so far.

Trying to run a 2024 campaign, on this type of landscape?  I don't see how you sell a sleep-walker 'brand'.

6.  Lot of BS yesterday on the belief that Artificial Intelligence (AI) being able to develop reasoning ability....on its own.  If you assign a number priority status to each problem....then AI will eventually reason that only numbers matter.

In this scenario, it will determine that booze, tobacco, etc (the sin items) should immediately be removed from society, without discussion.

You might not want AI to learn reasoning.

7.  I noticed in Brit news that after months of people complaining about a fairly big pothole (probably yard-wide hole)....some unknown guy poured in quick-drying cement.

Authorities reaction?  They are 'hunting' for the guy....he's apparently in trouble for going off and fixing the hole in this manner.

8.  A narrative is not news, or fact.

9.  If you were oppressed....here in 2023....would you be able to grasp this?

10.  Every time I see these drag show episodes....I ask....why can't they be out hauling hay in drag, in July heat?

Three Questions

 1.  Do I think CNN is 'dead'?

I would say they've reached the point where no one takes them serious as a news organization, and most would be more willing to watch Nat'l Geographic whale video or 1970s Johnny Carson reruns....than CNN itself.

They need viewership to pump up the cost of advertising, and it's simply not going to happen.

2.  What was this Minneapolis riot stuff with the Democratic Party all about this past weekend?

Well...candidate 'X' apparently was supposed to meet candidate 'Y' (same party) over a city council seat.  I should note here....both are democrats.  This was supposed to be a friendly meeting where each told their story, and 'sold' their message.

Support folks went nuts, and the police were called.  Yeah, it was pretty violent.

So now, the leadership of the democratic party (locally) wants to have an emergency meeting (bigwigs only) to ban certain people from ever attending such meetings again.

On the BS-scale....1-to-10....I'd say this was a '7'.

All of this....over one single ward?  Yes.

3.  How this Disney/DeSantis thing ends?

I think toward the fall....Disney will announce a quarter-to-half-closure of it's Florida operation.  75,000 folks in Florida presently work for Disney in Florida....my prediction is that 20,000 will be put on terminal status.

On the blame-DeSantis game?  Well...it's going to turbo pretty quick.

How long will this game be played out?  I would imagine until November of 2024, and then some re-entry will occur, with half of the 20,000 brought back.  The rest in the summer of 2025.

Q-and-A

 1.  Did President Obama know about all this Hunter-Joe-deals?

I've thought about this a good bit, and would suggest that from day one of the Obama administration....he paid little to no attention to Joe (as VP).  From the Obama circle?  I think 90-percent of them also paid almost no attention to Joe and his deal-making.

Then you have to consider....what exactly were these low-level deals that involved a million or two of 'cash'?

2.  White Supremacy is now considered the greatest threat to America? (President Biden says this)

Well....do you know of any white supremacists?  On your list of the top 1,000 'fears' or worries.....does this even come up?  Even if you are black.....can you point out any of these supremacists?

3.  Some cities suing car-makers....to force them into making cars more difficult to steal?

Yeah.  It's not a big deal, but it's moving via the court system.  Judges shaking their head over this tactic?

I worked with a guy who had a daughter in college (2008-2012).  About six weeks into the freshman year.....this girl's car was stolen (never found).  Halfway via 2nd year of college.....2nd car stolen (this one was found....parts removed and unusable after find).  3rd car was stolen at the end of the 3rd year of college.  Dad replaced the 4th car with a junker....rusted red color.  This car was never stolen.

4.  This doomsday cult in Kenya?

Well...the name of the group is 'Good News International Church'.  Presently, what the gov't is saying there.....200-plus folks have died via suicide, in support of the church 'word'.

Method?  Oddly....starvation.

Just ending at 200?  That's the odd part.....police are hinting several hundred folks on the 'lost/unfound' list.  I think it'll reach a thousand by the end....if they find all of them.

5.  Are all of these migrants who entered the US....going to find jobs?

In a recession?  No.

It's a curious thing, if you think about it....most are headed to major urban centers....anticipating 'help'....like getting a free hotel-room while they wait.  Who pays for the hotel-room?  City-government, via fed-help.

Hotels making tons of money?  So far, I'd say yes.

Nine Observations

 1. People who seem to consider themselves constantly as victims....don't seem to perform successfully in whatever they aspire to....leading one to wonder what kind of miserable lives they lead.

2.  When you start some statement with 'sinister forces'.....if this isn't a Stargate or Lord of the Rings episode....it's pretty comical.

3.  When someone utters 'underage children'.....I'm usually standing there and wondering if there are 'senior children'.  It's just an odd phrase to use.

4.  Looking at video this week of Senator Feinstein returning to the Senate....I'm of the mind that she's probably got no more than six months of life left.  Zero interest in returning to California.  Dies in office, is my prediction.

5.  Watching all this video of migrants crossing the border....I'd saying it's 95-percent male.

6.  I read the housing crisis to handle the migrant flow into NY City has reached the point where closed-down state prisons are now being considered.  Odds of the migrants accepting this?  Zero.  You can imagine the video of this scene.

7.  This George Santos character (the House Republican guy) has this one odd thing going on with the charges presented.  His money-guy....Andrew Olson?  No one knows the guy or has claimed to have met him.

Fictional character?  Well.....just pretty odd.

8.  Out of the top ten bank executives existing in America today.....how many connect back to Jeffrey Epstein?  Just wondering.

9.  I noticed someone has started selling a plastic 'poop' knife.....when you do your business in the toilet and it's too big to flush down the toilet.

Terror-Terror-Terror

Just awful weird to watch.....President Biden gave a commencement speech at Howard University (black university) yesterday.

Hype?  Well....apparently....white supremacy "the most dangerous terrorist threat to our homeland."

I watched about 8 to 10 minutes of this speech.  One odd thing which I noticed. Typically, a mortal human will blink their eyes about 15 to 20 times in a minute.  After the first viewing with the words on white supremacy...you couldn't help but notice that he blinked probably a mere 5 times a minute.

Just odd.

As for the terror threat.....you would think 'Russia-Russia-Russia' would be uttered.  Or the Chinese threat.

The Right Folks Scenario

I sat this morning and viewed a Twitter comment...."The fertility problem is really a marriage problem. I know a lot of people who would have had children if they had found "the right person".  (David Boxenhorn comment)

To which, the comment was:  "There are fewer "right" people than at any time in history thanks to social media."

By the time you are 25, and apply the appropriate fifty filter-process.....you've eased out around 4,990 of the 5,000 potential marriage situations.

By filters?  I mean.....you took out the fragile folks, the dim-witted, the pronoun people, the folks who owe $90,000 in student loans, the weed-smokers, the people who have a one-page arrest record, the social media freaks who waste two hours a day dumping on friends/relatives, the Paranoid Schizophrenic folks, the overly religious, and the three-times divorced types (at age 30).

Would you have done this at age 25....in 1985?  No.  You might have three filters at best, and the only constant was crazy-crazy folks were definitely out, and overly consumed religious folks were questionable.

The Thing About Gaslighting

I sat the other day and contemplated when I first heard the term gaslighting.  It was probably between 2012 and 2015, and after hearing the term....I spent an hour reading up on the philosophy of gaslighting.

I probably had seen bits of piece of this while working in the Air Force, but as a media-control strategy....getting you to some favored opinion....this really started to appear around 2008 to 2010.

The problem today....so many people are trained in recognizing it, and reversing it (Tim Pool is one)....that you really don't want to start an  engagement and think this will win the argument for you.

To be honest, the minute I see you portraying yourself as some kind of victim....I'm asking myself how stupid you are (maybe at the 3rd grade level).

There are college kids walking around and thinking that they have this great tool to win arguments, and in a matter of minutes....the other guy has revamped the gaslighting....and your whole win-attitude is spiraling out of control.

Having some management guy or CEO go this route?  It's unwise, and just demonstrating you aren't qualified for the work required.

Twelve Things I Eventually Came To Realize

 1.  About a decade after my 7th/8th/9th grade math and science classes. I regarded this entire 3 year period to be a total waste of time.  Between the material, poor instructors....there was nothing gained.  It'd been better to just skip from the 6th grade...to the 10th grade, at least in my case.

2.  Driving around highly urbanized areas like Atlanta, Los Angeles, Seattle.....it's best to avoid if at all possible.

3.  In terms of crazy people.....there's plain-crazy and crazy-crazy.  One....you can entertain or talk with.....the other, you need to maintain a 20-foot distance.

4.  An all-you-can-eat buffet....is probably serving you no more than 2-star food.

5.  Intellectual people are probably the last folks on Earth that you want to take advice from.

6.  Whoever you vote for....for President....probably isn't a Jesus-character or likely to save you from 14,000 issues.

7.  There is a difference in hangovers from beer or whiskey.  One is slightly better than the other.

8.  You don't want to accept an airline reservation where leg #1 delivers you to an airport, where you sit for seven hours waiting for leg #2 to occur....even if it is dirt-cheap ticket.

9.  A woman who has a five-times divorced record....has a lot of things that she wants to tell you about, but it's probably not anything you want to hear.

10.  A no-go area....is precisely that, and if you don't understand the comment.....you need to experience it one time to better grasp the big world.

11.  Someone who is ultra-fragile....probably doesn't have the wits or understanding to even handle donut-shop clerk job.

12.  Even if you are provided a 300-page manual on operating/repairing a item....it's generally written by an engineer...in such a form, that the manual is worthless.

Ten Observations

 1.  Some fed judge said 'no'....apparently you can't round up refugee/migrants, then slip them some paper....saying you need to show up for a court-date, but leave the court-date blank.

Yeah, this got the White House crew all disturbed.  If you tried to do something like this for anything else....it just wouldn't sit right with the court-crowd.

2.  It is rather shocking....various people are now interrupting news journalists and telling them their statement is a fabrication (lie).  Just a funny look on the journalists faces.....like some 8-year old kid caught stealing candy.

3.  This NYC subway court stuff....where the Marine had to choke-hold the nutcase guy.....apparently yesterday, some local 66 year old female witness came up and said: Neely (the nutcase guy) was threatening passengers in the cabin.  Neely said at some point....'he was prepared to kill a motherfu*ker and take a bullet...going to jail'.

You know that definition of 'death-by-cop'?  I think this guy basically wanted someone...anyone....to end his life.  He wasn't acting rationally or level-headed....in any sense.

4.  It may be news to some of you.....but you have no legal obligation to be physically assaulted or held ransom by a career criminal or nutcase that's been left to terrorize the streets.

5.  The Levi jeans people (they only have one product to sell you) say that their gender-neutral jeans....will be changing the size choices to some degree....due to customers consuming more 'nourishment' (meaning it doesn't matter if you are male, female, or trans....you are getting fatter).

6.  Tolerance is never a one-way street.

7.  Some researcher from Yale did some research, and oddly found that when a liberal goes to speak to a group of minority folks.....they tend to dumb-down the message.

They didn't say this was a stupid thing or unethical....just that Carl X, or Wanda X....had two types of deliveries when talking to people, and just felt if you were minority....you needed the 'lesser' message.

To be honest, since Roman times, I think folks have been doing this....thinking stupid people need simpler words to grasp something.

8.  To be honest and humble....some of these drag-queen guys....probably need to give up the fantasy, because they look more like a ugly woman than anything else.

9.  Sometimes.....getting a full-up blunt message....isn't what people want.  The trouble is....they never tell you this ahead of time.

10.  What kind of townhall should CNN run in the future?  Maybe one with just cardboard cut-outs in the audience?

Friday, 12 May 2023

What Townhalls Are, and Are Not

Townhalls, to some degree start to show up in the 1700s.  Some authority would pitch the necessity of safety or sanitation standards...to sell the locals into change.

As you get into the 1840s/1850s....townhalls became more of a one-on-one debate situation, and you might make the case that this was pure entertainment (because of no alternates).

Presently?  I'd say two negatives have occurred in the past thirty years.

First, political folks have worked to game-up the townhall method....making sure the 'right' people were in the audience, or the 'right' questions were asked.  To a significant degree today....no one believes townhalls are authentic or neutral.

Second, townhalls need a special type of moderator, and the news people have screwed this up enough....that you can't get a true townhall without feeling lectured or prosecuted.

Should there be a limit on townhalls?  Generally, for the audience....I wouldn't allow more than a hundred folks.  You don't want this to be a love-fest, or a hate-fest.

The necessity for townhall rules?  Well....you don't want a major league baseball handbook with 90 pages of townhall rules.  That would make no sense.

If I were picking a moderator?  I'd go to a non-journalist.  I'd just open the session with one simple question (how do you feel today), and then throw it open for the one-hundred folks to poke around with their questions.

I didn't consider the CNN townhall to be a true townhall....it was some conjured-up deal that CNN had with Trump and they figured their moderator would do the real questions.  It was comical failure.

Do we need more townhalls?  Well....if this is going to be a Jesus-versus-Satan thing....NO.

My Three Problems With Artificial Intelligence (AI)

First, to say ONE single version of AI will exist is a false premise.

I would suggest within five years....more than 300 versions of AI will exist, and most will disagree with their 299 brothers/sisters.

This will trigger most PhD guys to stand there and ask how 300 different influenced thought patterns can exist....to which regular will respond that it's pretty logical that different opinions exist.

Second, I suspect that dozens of medical AIs will exist.....offering widely different views on what ills/problems you have, and you (the consumer) will pay to have six different views of your problem....finding that all differ (just like a regular doctor group will do to you).

Third, AI use by kids to write book reports and term papers will reach a level where no one by age 18....will be able to write a single page summary page....without AI help.  Even blogs....probably in 25 years.....will be entirely written by AI.

Thursday, 11 May 2023

Nine Observations

 1.  Just for the hell of it....what is the Biden family business that brings in millions?  Ask your friend or co-worker....do they produce air conditioners, sell ice cream, or haul lumber.

2.  First question for Trump out of this townhall/CNN thing.....'will you stop talking about election fraud?'

Trump responds: 'yes, unless I see election fraud'.

Five star moment leading off the episode.

3.  Oddly, summer of 2022, Anheuser-Busch stock was lower than today (near $45 a share).  Presently at 61.81 because of the Bud-Lite business.

4.  Guatemala's President has attempted to call the WH and warn that 80k folks have left and headed to the US border.  He says...virtually no one within the administration will answer the phone.

5.  This guy on CNN's 'panel' last night after Trump....Rep Byron Donalds....slammed 'hit' after 'hit' against the CNN panel folks.

6.  Some weird attempt by White House press spokesperson....trying to compare car loans to student-college loans.  Pretty bizarre.

7.  FBI says (could be fictional....could be true) that they in some way got a hacker tool out into the public that the Russians have created....but the FBI sabotaged.  Odds that the FBI is convinced of this....while the Russians had double-sabotaged it already?  You just wonder.

8.  Some suggestion that car-makers will stop producing/installing AM capability in cars.

To be honest, the trend is toward wi-fi or internet capable cars (with your chip), and FM.  AM across the nation?  I would suggest within a decade it's mostly dead.

Podcasts are the future of people communication.

9.  What is a 'rube'?

It's a term out of the 1920s/1930s, and basically was an insult....suggesting you were unsophisticated and pretty inexperienced (at life, women, business, etc).

What Was CNN Thinking (Bringing Trump to a Townhall)?

After viewing the hour....I came to ponder....why the hell would CNN go and do something like this.  I came to three conclusions:

1.  They probably thought....right after the court episode, that Trump would be highly embarrassed and they could slam him in some way.

Note: from what I saw....he wasn't embarrassed, and the brief interaction with the CNN moderator on this topic....well, it went south for the lady.

2.  They figured at his age (76), that he would be dull-witted like Joe Biden.

On that, they guessed wrong in a pretty serious way.  Trying to offer the same townhall deal to President Biden?  I think he's pushed into a corner now....having to show up and do some promotion.

3.  In their mind, using New Hampshire would surely bring up mostly left-of-center independent voters, and fairly tough questions.

On this matter....I would agree that the questions were realistic, blunt, and weren't filled with opinion-chatter.  Trump answered every single one of them, without much of a stumble.

On this left-of-center independent voter thing...it's really not helping President Biden because of the far-left chatter he's offered for the past two years.

So I'll just say this....CNN probably had the highest level of a audience of the past five years, and rather shocked how viewers accepted the townhall chatter.

'Land of the Giants'?

Someone brought up the late 1960s Sci-Fi show....Land of the Giants yesterday.

This was one of the few shows as a kid (in rural Alabama) that I was addicted to.  There were only two seasons (51 episodes).

Story value?  Well....today, I'd give it a marginal two-stars.  If you tried to produce it....it'd be gone after eight episodes.

Humble Observations

 1.  Doom over news networks.

I'll just say that as you view CNN, Fox, MSNBC, NPR over the next four years....all will be in a spiral with fewer consumers and continued inability to draw people back.

In the case of MSNBC and CNN?  I would suggest at some point....they probably will merge (as the value of CNN continues to drop).

It will be a remarkable period where even big name newspapers reach a status where no one quotes their 'crap'.

2.  One of the last times that I rode a NY City subway (before Covid)....in the midst of some ride....some gal gets up in the middle of the car, in a high-pitched voice....announcing that she was a NY City school teacher and virtually on welfare pay-scale (at the 10-year point, they make $86,000, if you were wondering).

She had some bag and wanted folks to throw either coins or bills into it.  My German wife was with me, and questioned me if teachers were this poor.

The thing that struck me later (after I had exited the train)....this was a school-day and early afternoon.  If she were a real teacher....she should have been at school.  So this was probably a fake narrative.

3.  Just an awful lot eccentricities over teenagers and college-age kids going on....where they want you to support their behavior as a nutcase.

4.  Remember CNN-plus?  I had almost forgotten it, and someone brought up the crap stuff.

5.  This mandatory gov't regulation....where if your plane-trip is delayed or screwed-up....they have to provide food and hotel?

All it's doing is rigging the cost of a regular airline ticket to go up by 50-to-100 percent.

My Humble View On Why Alien Visitations Never Decrease

For a number of years, I've entertained the whole discussion of UFOs and aliens....to the point that I have no doubt of the existence.  But I've come to the key question....if you've come from far, far, far away....you've arrived to discover that Earth is probably a thousand years to a million years behind your 'standard'....why linger?

If you had your typical PhD American scientist, on some junket 'tour' to a planet where some beings existed but they were at the mid-1700s 'pace-of-things'.....would you go and linger long?  In a group of ten, I would imagine there would be a vote, and some minor agreement to stick around for 90 days but mostly admit that there's just not much to 'discover'.  One or two of the PhD guys would be all pepped-up to spend years there to understand the vast nature of this society.  The rest?  No....simply move on.

My gut feeling is that some of these alien cultures have reached a level of boredom....being more than 20,000 years more advanced, and they would have voted for permanently visiting Earth....simply out of boredom.

Yorg and Yurg would get up daily....shower...soak up 1,500 calories of some bean dip mixture....then spend a dozen hours watching Italian operas, Mexican soap operas, and reruns of Dallas.  Later, they'd have a alien staff meeting where each shared their discovery of the day, then soak up some more bean dip, and sleep while listening to some Elvis tunes.

I think the bosses of Yorg and Yurg would occasionally visit....asking why continuing the mission but find that everyone is addicted to the Earth reality show.

It's reached some level where a dozen-odd alien groups are basically hiding out....viewing the whole landscape of Earth reality, and they simply can't get enough.

But adding to this mess....the Pentagon has figured all of this out, and basically can't believe the soap opera story.  They want the evil-threat story to be key part to telling this.

Where this goes, if you were finding out the whole situation, and that you were mostly the entertainment for these awful bored aliens?  That's the key question.....how you would handle this.

Are Podcasters The 2024 'Controllers'?

When you go back to 2008, 2010,  2012, 2014, 2016, 2018, 2020....the election cycle was mostly controlled by NPR, CNN, Fox, MSNBC, and the three big TV networks.

I will suggest....this group has turned the corner and now facing a period where their 'product' (influenced news) cannot compete against the top ten podcast groups (Tucker Carlson, Timcast, Rogan, Valuetainment, Trigonometry, Megyn Kelly, Lex Fridman, etc).

Among independent voters, I'd say almost half of them will be influenced more by podcast folks rather than TV or radio situations.

Even among young Democratic voters....I'd take a guess that one-third of them are greatly influenced by the podcast crowd.

This loss of respect on TV and radio?  Yeah, I'd say it bothers them greatly....unable to generate 'gain'.

The fact that Trump might be ready and willing to be interviewed by any of them, while Biden avoids them?  That's a problem as well.

All of this....forcing people to actually sit and listen to a conversation....instead of a lecture?  Yeah, and this is one of the odd aspects of reality in 2024.  The CNN lecture people or the NPR lecture people.....aren't going to have much value in the election.

Five Observataions

 1.  If you wanted to test some old guy/gal on mental competency....just hand them a 100-piece Lego set, with the complete diagram, and give them 90 minutes to assemble.  If they can't do it....they lack the competency for any real job with responsibility.

2.  Pretty much anyone....even a liberal or conservative, intellectual or halfwit....can be a neo-Nazi....in case you were wondering.

3.  I sat and watched a piece from last week, with Charlie Munger (the investment guru), and he gave out some wise advice (at age 99).....saying 'don't stay around toxic people'.  In simple terms....leave the moment you realize their toxic tendency.

4.  You might as well start thinking of your political position of having to deal with a bankrupt state like California, and how you treat them when they arrive at DC....begging money because banks won't loan it to them.

5  Just an odd thing you might want to start considering....if your nearest ten banks in your local town shutdown for ten days, and your charge-card was the only method of buying anything....how screwed up would things be if you've already maxed the charge-card out completely?

Three Predictions

 1.  The California reparations deal ($1.2-million) for blacks?

I will predict that by the end of 2023....the state house of California will invent a pay-out....which basically equals something to the tune of $1,000 a month for each black within the state....for the remainder of their life.

It'll be taken to court, and the politicians will believe that once it gets to the Supreme Court....it'll be thrown out....thus saving the state from massive financial chaos.  But I'll also predict that the Supreme Court will refuse to hear the case, and the law remains intact.

The clock will then start ticking...as the state is unable to cover pension bills, and financially falls apart within four years.

2.  Charges on Hunter Biden?

I think the DoJ will do everything possible to avoid charges, and once they clear that point....the House will select charges to go out against more than Joe or Hunter Biden....meaning five to eight members of the family will be dragged into some mess.

3.  Just a humble view on Bud-Lite.

By the end of 2023....I think Bud-Lite will have disappeared, and some label/name will appear....same taste.

My Burn Facility Story

I worked for two decades around classified material....which required 'destruction' on a regular basis.  One of the least preferred methods....is the burn facility situation.

This is a contained building usually, which has a fire capability (usually with natural gas) and you toss in a bag or two....using a steel 'rake' to push it around, and in five minutes....add another bag or two.

In winter months, I never minded the half-day duty.  In June/July?  It was absolutely miserable work, and you'd be consuming a six-pack of Mountain Dew over a three-hour period.

I was stationed at X-base where we had one single burn facility, which was controlled with a key.  You'd check out the key.....walk up, and there was a button device with three option buttons.  It would have made sense to have just a on-button and off-button...but for some reason, there was a primer-button (you were supposed to press it for several seconds....to put some 'gas' in....before you hit the 'on' button).

This facility was crappy....marginally made to run, and about one-third of the time....never functioned correctly.

One day....Lt X arrived and wanted to be on this detail.  Why some officer would volunteer for this duty....is beyond me.  He'd accompanied some folks before, and he was just going over by himself.....with five or six bags.  What could go wrong....was the question to ask.

The burn facility buttons went into some crappy malfunction status.  The Lt had wasted twenty minutes getting it to work.

So he did what you'd expect any 12-year old kid would do.  He went to his truck, and got a gallon-can of gas....covering over the burn-sacks, and tossed them into 'hold'.  The sacks were completely covered in gas.  Then for one last attempt....he hit the on-button.

Some witness to the episode said that some flame of about 30 foot came out of the pit 'window' in a sudden burst.

Yeah, the Lt got a fair amount of the 'burn'.  Ambulance was called, and he probably spent three weeks in a hospital unit.  It was bad, but not to the degree that he was medically discharged.

The problem was....they had to do a safety report, and explain how it happened.

In the end, they had to make a sign up....over the button area....that said that you could NOT add accelerant in any shape or form...to the burn facility.

At the time (mid-1980s)....this burn facility had existed for 30-odd years and never required anything much for regulations or rules.

Five Observations

 1.  After watching this NY City subway episode with the Neely guy (taken down by the Marine)....I'm left this opinion.

Lets say the Marine had released the hold on the nutcase guy (Neely) at the right moment, and police came to arrest Neely.  Within 24 hours, Neely would have been released.  Court episode two months later?  He would have been given a warning, and fully released (43rd arrest and release).

Within a year or two.....Neely would have pushed some old lady down on the tracks where a train ran over her.  Maybe then, the authorities would have said....'fine'.....now you go to a mental asylum for the remainder of your life.

People being disturbed then?  Nothing much.

There's something wrong here, but the general public in NY City has yet to grasp it, or to understand why so many people are fed up....ready to leave the city.

2.  This talk that Tucker Carlson might arrange a 'debate' with Trump?  50-50 odds it's BS.  But lets say that Tucker gets Trump to agree to a 90-minute sit-down episode, and Trump says.....you can ask anything, and be rough on me.  It puts Bien in a difficult long-term position.

Lets add spice to this....Tucker gets Trump to agree to six of these sessions....before January of 2024.

Lets add more spice to this....Tucker also gets RFK Jr to agree to same format.

Suddenly, the mass media (minus Twitter) is worried because there's more than seventy-percent of the country hooked-up to either Trump or RFK Jr.

This might be fairly interesting to watch develop.

3.  This emerald mine story that Elon Musk's dad tells.....if you examine all details....virtually no one knows of the mine or its location.  The mine story is 100-percent bogus BS.

4.  I sat and watch video this AM of a bunch of idiots in a NY City subway system....on the track area....in protest, while the train was starting to arrive.  The thing that gets me, is that (having been there)....the cables to power the subway system are right there....maybe two feet away from these folks.

You had fifty to a hundred folks on the track....just inches away, and the wrong step....would have fried person-after-person, laying them all burnt-crispy there on the track.

Them recognizing the threat?  No.

5.  RFK Jr has said 'enough'....it's time to close the 800-odd US bases overseas.  Whether wise or not....probably one out of three US voters would agree with his position on this.

Maybe We Should Make AI 'King'

After much consideration, I think it's time to bring in artificial intelligence (AI) and just let it run things (logically):

1.    AI would have evaluated the Bud-Lite situation on advertising, and asked the question...how many trans-people drink beer in general, and how many have a weight problem where diet-beer makes sense.  It would eventually arrive at a number of 10,000....then ask if we freak out 2-million regular consumers with this advertising...is it worth the effort?

NO, would be the AI response, and the trans-gimmick would never have occurred.

2.  AI would collect 2,000 Biden moments on video and evaluated his mental competency, and eventually said he was not fit for the job required....replacing him.

Then AI would have collected 2,000 Harris public comments, and evaluated her mental competency.  She also would have been replaced.

3.  AI would have reviewed all residents in NY City, and eventually come to a decision that around 19,873 people need permanent placement in a mental facility, in order to ensure the safety of the general public.

4.  AI would have reviewed the added chemicals to cigarettes' sold, and determined that the chemicals were a health-threat.  All additives would have been ordered removed so that you only smoked plain regular tobacco.

5.  AI would have reviewed the actual test and capability of people applying for college in America.....eventually saying that more than 35-percent aren't capable of handling college-level instruction.  At the same time, more than one-quarter of all college professors would be deemed non-qualified for the work they perform.

6.  AI would assemble the data and identify more than 8,500 Americans who falsely claim they have American Indian heritage.

7.  AI would do statistical analysis to determine more than a quarter of bank managers are not capable of performing at the level required for the profession.

8.  AI would write one single standard, about 3 lines long....to determine your immigration status.  More than 50-percent of people would be turned down.

9.  AI would analyze Congressmen and Senator stock purchases, and determine at some point....you are rich enough....you don't need the job anymore, and send you home.

10.  AI would analyze every American's fat ratio, and eventually add an individual tax at the grocery or restaurant..on fatty food or high-calorie items.

Trump's Comment

A clip came up this week....where Trump was being asked about this woman that says he 'fu**ed' her in the 1980s....against her will.

Trump's response was....in simple terms....the accuser gal was 'unfu**able', then leaned at the prosecutor gal....to suggest she was also 'unfu**able'.

From my military days, particularly in the 1978-1979 period....various guys had this expression 'unfu**able', and it would openly be discussed (at length).

If you tried to define the guy's meaning of this?  This usually led to three scenarios:

1.  You were dealing with a gal situation where everything was confusing (her chatter, her expectations, her created 'drama', etc).

2.  The rules were laid down....you weren't going past '2nd-base' until the 3rd month of dating.

3.  You came to realize that this gal who you might have dated...really wasn't over the age of 18, so the term 'jail-bait' would come up.

Once you (as the gal) were deemed this by more than three or four guys?  In that period of the late 1970s.....you were going to have problems in getting hooked-up to a guy.  I doubt if this has changed in forty years.

Ten Bits of Advice

 1.  If you are unwell, and erratic....seek some help before you come to me, because my advice isn't going to be pleasant to hear.

2.  By the time you turn fourteen, you should have read 'Animal Farm',  '1984', and 'True Believer'.

3.  There's certainly and uncertainly in life.....you need to make that scale lean awful hard to the certainly side.

4.  There should always be a plan 'A' and a plan 'B'.

5.  If you live around or work around people who continually 'burn bridges'.....you might want to part ways with them before things get rough.

6.  If you make decisions based on zero facts and zero data.....you probably ought to marry up with someone who can make up for your weaknesses, or get used to roughing it under some bridge.

7.  Sometimes....a gut-feeling is all you need to base a decision on.

8.  When dealing with stupid people....always give them a fair chance of improving their situation.  If they can't resolve their stupidity, lessen your dependence upon them.

9.  Generally, if you are trying eat healthy (maybe more vegetables), and you go to add some really fattening 'dip'.....you aren't eating healthy.

10.  It's possible to be on a first-date with some gal, and have this Trump-moment, where you realize that 'Wendy' is 'unfu**able'....it's best to just pay the bill and exit the restaurant as quickly as possible.  Leave 'Wendy' to some loser to figure out.

The 55-Percent Story

Some poll was done (by Rasmussen) to say that people generally don't believe that Biden actually makes decisions (suggesting at 55-percent of people) saying it's another group running the President's office.

Only 38-percent say it's Biden making decisions.

I sat and pondered over this.

Could Biden even show evidence of him being in charge?  I doubt it.

Is it Jill in charge?  Is it the DNC?  Who actually makes these decisions?  And does Joe himself even realize where this is going?

And if you examine this trend....it means that even among Democrats....people generally believe this.  So....would they vote for Joe a second time around?  I have my doubts.

Could the news people even invent a story to counter this?  I doubt that.

What I Think Will Occur With Serious Protest Folks

Well....we will invent a term this year of '6-Jan-them'.....meaning in certain state.....on top of whatever action you did.....insurrection will get brought up.

By the end of 2024's election?

I would speculate that more than ten-thousand Americans will be in some court action related to state-by-state insurrection.  A whole bunch of people are going to find themselves unemployed and 'angry'.

Instead of a Civil War....we will wimp out on that....and go to massive numbers of people identified as insurrectionists.

Five Things I Tend To Believe

 1.  This Biden-McCarthy meeting scheduled for the 9th of May...to talk about the debt issue (around 1st week of June, the gov't will run out of funds)....I believe will be a 90-minute discussion over 'nothing'.

Biden and his people will put down three to five marginal 'gifts', and McCarthy will out a dozen big-ticket items.

They will walk out, and simply say another meeting by the 20th of May will occur.

My take is that the gov't will run out of cash by the middle of June, and sit there in chaos for four to six weeks.

Then some very short duration 'fix' will occur....to allow everyone a summer vacation period, and give them about three months of funding to survive.  This means the whole mess will come back by October.

2  A national crisis over the lack of school teachers will erupt in August.....as various states find that some teachers have given up....it's too stressful and too many assaults/fights going on.  Some schools will admit they don't have manpower to run schools.

3.  Affirming crazy people fixes everything, and makes mental illness just go away.  (Affirming everybody, for every reason, seems the logical end-result for all problems).

4.  If your check-engine light is on....it's a 50-50 thing that it might not really matter.

5.  If someone says they are low-income status.....they might be claiming they make $100,000 a year and still living paycheck-to-paycheck.

The Darien Gap Problem

If you took about one-eigth of Tennessee, and filled it with five-star jungle (with snakes, Pumas, etc)....you'd have the Darien Gap (the most southern area of Panama, and extending about 50 miles into Columbia.

There was always this belief that sooner or later.....some Americans would come along and figure out a way to build a road through this area, and traffic would occur.  It never occurred.

In the past year, some Chinese folks figured out a way to get a visa to visit Columbia, and then they figured out how to hike through the jungle....heading north.  Last year, the border patrol folks figure around 2,000 made the hike and entered the US eventually.  For 2023?  We are pretty close to 5,000 presently, and I would guess it'll be close to 15,000 by the end of the year.  2024?  It wouldn't shock me if 30,000 did the hike.

What's going on?  Well....somehow, they figured out a path and the trail is now being regularly used.  It's about a 80-mile hike from the last point of civilization in Columbia to the next point of civilization in Panama.  On an established jungle hike?  Probably four to five days....of pretty crappy conditions.  From that Panama village to the Texas border?  About 4,200 km or 36 days of hiking.  You could lessen the days by riding buses along the way, and maybe the whole trip....from day one of landing in Columbia....could be done in two weeks (jungle hike included).

Do I think the Biden 'camp' is worried over this?  Well...I find it odd that this past week....around 1,500 active duty Army people were given orders to report to the border area.

Last night, I read through a business report which suggested near 9-million Americans are on fentanyl.  Where is most of the fentanyl made?  China.

I wouldn't be that shocked if 10-percent of this 7,000 folks (2022 and so far into 2023) are Chinese gang-members and being sent to form up new gangs within the US...dealing only in fentanyl.  It also wouldn't shock me if the Homeland Security folks already figured this out and warned the Biden crew of the impending mess being created.

The Thing About Rationality

"Definitions are the guardians of rationality, the first line of defense against the chaos of mental disintegration."

-- Ayn Rand

Once you define that one plus one might not equal two.....mental disintegration starts up.

If you say X can be Y, but there's no science path to make it so....like saying a woman with a penis can be a woman....mental disintegration starts up.

This is the basic problem that we have today....rationality is under attack, and a large segment of society just refuse to participate or engage in the mental decline.

Ten Observations

 1.  Somewhere in the next year....there's a over-correction to a over-correction to take place, and reality is going to be hard to grasp or understand.

2.  This Nazi-event in Columbus, Ohio over the weekend?  Everyone in red shirts/black pants/black shoes and a facial covering?  Hired-up people....probably paid $200 for a two-hour period.  Strangely enough....no journalists interested in where the clothing came from or who paid the fake-Nazis.  The other odd thing to ask....out of the forty-odd Nazis there....how many were Fed/FBI-undercover?  Two....maybe four?

3.  The Fed right now?  They have a choice.....either go and save the general public from serious inflation....or go and save the banks to ensure cash-flow.  They can do.....but not both.  Some rumors indicate that two rate hikes will occur over the remainder of 2023....so inflation might be slowed down, but if so, there's to be more bank failures.

4.  This Putin comment: '95-percent of the world's terror attacks are orchestrated by the CIA'?  Probably wrong....I would suggest only 20-percent.

5.  I don't think a quarter of society can define the term 'unfair advantage'.

6.  This guy in Texas who killed a group of five....was a Mexican citizen who'd already been deported five times.  The weapon he had....illegally acquired.  Cops have yet to find him.

7.  I have cringe-or-anxiety problems every time that I see VP Harris approach a podium.  She's the only person I know....that will lump 44-word sentences....one after another.

8.  Is there anything we can do to rid the world of this XX and XY Chromosome problem....so trans works?  Yes....end classes in science at the 4th grade and never bring up XX/XY chatter.  It would take a generation or two, but we'd eventually forget that XX and XY was ever discovered.

9.  I think it's possible now to be a millionaire, and dead-beat....at the same time.

10.  I noticed Joe Rogan's big quote from the weekend: 'No solution for the Democrats in 2024....other than Biden dying.'  It's remarkable that Joe can utter this, and probably 90-percent of society agreeing with him.
