What Went Wrong?

Looking over the past month, I'd offer these 10 observations about what things went wrong:

1.  Bad-boy cop reports went into the system, and the system failed....miserably, decade after decade.  Mayors, prosecutors, police commissioners and police unions all helped to achieve this.  This one cop in Minneapolis probably should have been let go 8 to 10 years ago.

2.  Every single day.....hundreds of cops are faced with handling drug-laced individuals who have no idea whats going on, or how much of a threat is being demonstrated.  You can ask a 10-year veteran of the police....how many incidents did handle in an average year where drug-rage guy was confronting him.  Yet, we don't seem to care or recognize the enormous stress put upon the police.

3.  We seem to have hundreds of thousands of adolescent 'kids' (18 to 30 years old) who seem to wear adult clothing but act like 10-year old 'thugs'.  The amusing thing....they borrowed lots of money for college, and don't seem worried about being arrested for a felony charge, having jail-time on their resume.

4.  A lot of people seem to fixated on Antifa and revolution.  Things can only get better with this type of society....is the general belief.  Part of the chatter, if you pay attention....they want capitalism to fail, and the government to run most everything.

5.  For over fifty years, trillions have poured into big urban magnets like Baltimore, Detroit, Chicago, and Philly.  Has the money changed much of anything for black neighborhoods?

6.  All of these big urban magnets....run by Democratic Party mayors, Democratic Party city councils, and Democratic Party prosecutors.  Great results or marginal things that we don't talk about much?

7.  People sought comfort and 'healing' via the news media.  A lot of them have come to realize that it's like a drug now....you watch to get adrenaline and anger pumped up.

8.  You watched kids progress through high school, and by age 18....they seem to be remarkably 'lacking'.  You started to question the maturity and competence....suggesting that the 18-year-old seemed to have the knowledge level of a 14-year old kid.  Then they go off to college and come back....seemingly dumber than before and acting more like a 12-year old kid.  If anything....they got stupider.

9.  As you flipped through the channels and observed nightly news.....a whole bunch of experts appeared on TV, and after a while, you got this crazy idea that you were more intelligent than the guest person on CNN.

10.  Finally, onto Washington DC.  You just woke up one day and grasped....there's just not much being done, but a lot of talking and 'huffing'.  TV gave them more of a chance to appear in public, but it didn't really improve performance, or make things any better.
