Silent Al

In April, Al Gore is slated to show up in San Fransisco....to deliver a major speech to the RSA conference. Al is getting paid for this.....which those kindly RSA folks are paying up to $3500 to get in the front door (rumored entry fee for the entire week). Al set one rule for his speech.....NO media or cameras or recording devices. Everybody is to be frisked as they enter. The RSA folks who run the show....said "no problem" so far.

Its kinda funny. Already, there are a couple of folks offering cash (some rumors suggest up to $10k) for a recording of the session with Al. Some folks are suggesting (wildly)....that Al has not really been seen since the Nobel Prize episode months ago....and that he has been on the fat farm.....having weight sucked out or simply running the weight off.

I sat there when I read this comment...that Al is giving a major speech which might be a indicator of the political mess in America. Al might be losing weight although this is the wildest suggestion I've seen in the last year. So lets sit back a moment to review this idea.

In June...the party attempts to meet in Denver and decide the super-delegate situation...with everyone upset about the mess created. The Hillary crowd and the Obama crowd....will make up 65 percent of the folks there. If the super-delegates split their votes...there could still be a 50-50 situation without a true winner. So then.....a "fighting" Al emerges and gives a huge speech. The super-delegates start to talk....and by the second ballot.....they have dumped Hillary and Obama.....and creating a third option with Al.

Al seems shocked.....Hillary goes ballistic and Obama would be standing and shaking his head. Al starts a speech or two on TV.....and suddenly by the 3rd ballot.....he wins. Al picks a young Democratic female with no real national image.

Now the mighty McCain must face a strong and healthy looking Al....something he wasn't expecting. Al is prepared and giving the best performance of his life. By November....Al has lined up a electoral college win that gives him a good 100 votes more than McCain.

It is a silly scenario....but one has to wonder what the real game is....and why Al has not been seen in two months.

4 June 1968

Up until 4 June 1968, RFK was set to become president of the United States. The California visit and speech in the hotel the next day......was the "yellow-brick road" tour. By November....RFK was set to become president of the United States. Alot of people would debate the running of Nixon against RFK and the possible win by the Republican but if you examine the Kennedy "dream" within America.....Nixon would have found this a tough race to win.

As we look back over forty years and wonder about things...there is this period of January 1969 to January 1977. The outcome of the Vietnam War would have been almost identical with no other possible outcome. But from that point on......things might have gone in an entirely different direction. Without the Watergate hearings....numerous things within the government and the CIA would never have come out. The chance of Carter coming up in 1977 to campaign? Zero chance. The relationship with China that Kissinger forged? Might not have happened.

Alot of things went down the drain on 5 Jun 1968. This week.....several guys have come out suggesting a second gunman there in the area....and more shots than Sirhan Sirhan could have ever fired. Sirhan Sirhan readily admits today.....that he remembers nothing.....which only adds mystery to this entire case.

There are few points over the past fifty years that really draw deep thought into "what would have happened" but this is one of those events.

Spitzer Version 5.0?

So we now have hints of another fresh round of Eliot and his sexy women. Today "Billie" Davis....from New York and a major "model" (in Ripley, we use other words, but in New York....model works fine).....is apparently linked to Eliot....and this company called Wicked Models. Yep.....I can't even make this stuff up anymore. Thats how sad the thing gets.

I sat and wondered just what "Billie" looked like and checked at the New York Post site....and then.....I simply melted.....like butter on pancakes. Yep....."Billie" makes even Britney look like trailer trash (something I never thought I'd say). Based on reports....."Billie" is working on a masters degree in some kinda mental health area.....so she says. Personally, I'd believe just about anything.

Eliot? Well.....I would say that he was probably shoveling out at least $80k per year on hookers....and if you figure estimated $3500 per session (to include the hotel)......thats a minimum of twenty visits per year. I must say....at least compared to Bill Clinton.....Eliot has good taste and certainly does alot better than Bill. I don't know what "Billie" charges but would reckon its a bit more than $3500 and Eliot probably reserved those special sessions.

Can the Spitzer story ever end? I'm starting to have doubts. Between him and Paterson.....it might continue on for weeks. By the end of next week.....I expect Spitzer's wife to pack up and leave....preparing for a payoff of some sort. Paterson's wife? I kinda doubt she lasts more than four more weeks. So.....just be happy its not your state.
