There's something that's been on my mind....this chatter of a 'new' Census.
In the case of California....particularly LA....you have two situations developing.
First, if you deported just 10k illegals, and said illegals don't count.....there's likely to be 500,000 fewer folks in the LA area....to be counted.
Second, in the burnt out section of the area....it'll be noted as people at such-and-such address....are just a burnt residence (not there).
There would have to be a massive re-draw of the state.
Currently, there are 52 districts. My humble guess is that five to six districts go away entirely....leaving them with around 46 districts, and massive problem in drawing the seven districts around LA.
Imagine running a campaign where 30-percent of your residents live in burnt-out situations.
