When Police 'Order' You

In 44 US states....if the police direct you (order you).....you have to comply or you will be detained.

Six states don't mandate the 'follow-the-orders': Connecticut, Kentucky, Maine, Massachusetts, Virginia, and West Virginia.

So, when in a chaotic situation,  and the LE gives you a order....once you say 'NO'....they have the right to arrest you (charges come  next).  If these were unlawful....the judge will determine later.

Here's your problem....if you say 'NO'....you will be detained in 44 states....pay some bail (in most cases).....then have to hire a lawyer (figure $500 minimum).

Do people grasp this?  I suspect....out of a hundred adult....fewer than ten know and understand this.

Do the police have to give you ten warnings? No....usually one single warning is the given 'rule'.

Money Chatter

Yesterday, I asked Grok/AI if Renee Good (the dead lesbian out of Minnesota) if she'd lived in Canada....as was being suggested.  Grok said 'NO'.

Well...this AM...I asked the question again.  This time....Grok said updates had occurred and in late 2024 (just after the election)....the Good couple (wife and wife)...had left KC-City....for Canada.

This move lasting long? No....about six months.

Why moving back?  No one really says.....but the one 'path' suggested is that Ms Good was a 'poet'.

I asked AI in particular....for Minneapolis....what job Ms Good held, and nothing comes up.

It's a odd situation....somehow, the couple survived and had some income going on but there's no identifiable work being done.   Professional protest folks?  Well....it just makes one wonder....could you survive (say $2,000 a month) off pro-protestism?

All of this brings me to this conclusion....there must be 20,000 folks walking around America....as pro-protesters....getting paid, and probably not reporting their income situation to the IRS.
