Brad Jayakody, an IT dude from London....got into trouble with the British nipple police (the airport security folks). You see....Brad was traveling from London (via Heathrow) when the security idiot looked at the T-short....with Megatron (holding a robot gun), and they basically told Brad....there would be an issue and he needed to change shirts or be denied entry to the plane. Brad thought this was silly but pulled out another T-shirt and switched.
I paused here and thought about this....what powerful men these Nipple police have become in the US and London....worried about nipple rings, pieced nipples, and Megatron from the Transformers cartoons. Had Megatron been carrying a chocolate bar.....it might have been ok. Had Megatron been carrying a woman's vibrator....it probably would have been ok (unless on a Baptists plane). But this imaginary gun in the imaginary hands of imaginary transformer.....simply isn't ok.
Cartoon warfare is going on....and becoming a problem across this globe. We are starting to fear cartoons more....than reality. What would Mighty Mouse say? What would Deputy Dog say? What would Shaggy and Scooby say? This is the sad state of affairs in the world today. Cartoons convey a bigger threat than one can possibly imagine.
