Thoughts About Twitter

 1.  Basically, if you feel some anger or ill-feelings about something that someone said.....'mute' the individual.  If you go and spend hours getting all hyped-up....what purpose does it really serve?

2.  Out of every dozen things that you typically read on Twitter....one comment will be witty and clever....five or six will be somewhat thoughtful, and the rest will be garbage-talk that some immature adult threw together in 60 seconds.

3.  Prior to Elon, there were probably two-hundred topics that moderators would cross out or terminate your account upon.  Presently....zero.  It's not something that I'd regard today....as the end of the world, or leading to massive chaos.

4.  It just looks like that 50-percent of the manpower....wasn't really needed, and begs the question....how did they keep expanding.....with no real defined work-load?

5.  For all those folks that walked out....fired, then bad-mouthing Elon Musk.....they are basically saying they wanted less management and less supervision.  They also showed that they can only work for certain people.

6.  Twitter being a magnet for fake-news?  It's always been a magnet, and even with Elon's work....it'll still be a magnet.  But generally, people have some BS-meter in their mind, and as time advances.....get wiser about propaganda.

7.  Finally, this level of portraying Twitter as a demon (under Elon).....lays out this crazy discussion....can people handle rational discussion or disagreeable topics?

A lot of baseball freaks want to openly discuss the DH-rule....in place since 1973.  Some still want it gone.  Some folks want to openly discuss fatty food being sold at McDonalds or Burger King....with the idea that it can be ceased.  Some folks want to discuss climate change, global cooling and global warming.

I don't have a problem with a open handed discussion....at least being agreeable that talk doesn't destroy society or culture.  If you reach the point where censorship is the only way ahead.....we have a serious problem.
