First, there is no real evidence to say this.
Second, I tried to imagine this from a tactical stand-point....believing yes...if you had eight hunters and at least 2 of them were female....they probably got 'smart' and strongly recommended the safest way to hunt (ensuring survival).
But then I came to the issue....what if the team were seven women out of the team of eight....how much arguing would have taken place....with 'Larry' simply shaking his head over the level of debate going on.
What I expect here? Within a year....the question will drift over....what if 3 members of the eight were transmen or lesbians? Or if four of the eight were gay men?
Personally, it's all indicators of too many scientists existing.
