Working-Class Guys?

Yesterday, I read through some political 'gossip', and this story came up.  The Democratic Party is spending around $20-million to come up with ideas....on how to speak to American working-class MEN (not women).

The angle to this story?  Well...after adding up November 2024's numbers....they realize that while they had a great message for women, trans-people, crazies, environmentalists, blacks, Hispanics, broke college graduates, etc.....they don't seem to have anything to get working-class men to vote for them.

I paused over this.  For at least six to ten years....I generally got the impression that a working-class guy had to fit into the special categories (druggie, illegal, Antifa, black, or Hispanic)....to get the attention of any Democratic candidate (even for mayor or governor).

You can imagine this group sitting there at a luxury hotel....BSing with lobbyists and foundation people....blowing the $20-million over booze, hotel rooms, and 'perks'.

In the end, this discussion comes back around to this weird landscape.....you'd have to recapture this men's vote situation....by talking like Trump, and engaging upon a dozen 'wild' topics....like taxes, crime, and corruption in state and national politics.

So I come to this last observation....you basically have to let go of the nutcases, Trans folks, and special categories of people....to attract the working class guys into coming back.

It's amazing how we circled back around to this topic.
