How DEI (Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion) Will End

Officially, I see it around for another decade...probably in some form until the mid-2030s.  But I'll lay out six things likely to happen...to hasten the disappearance:

1.  At some point, either via a Amtrak accident or a airline crash...the discovery team will eventually find that one single unqualified guy, with no real certifications in the work they did....triggered the accident, and was a DEI hiree.

This will trigger a massive gov't review of how many people might fit into such a accident, and this lays out five to ten thousand unqualified folks in such jobs.  Overnight, fear of airline safety is drawn as a national problem, and cutting air-travel by 50-percent.

2.  Bob and Marge, parents of Timmy (a 5th grade graduate last month) and Becky (a 8th grade graduate last month) get worried that both appear to be stupid (they can't tell you what a noun or adverb is).   So they arrange a private testing of Timmy and Becky.  The results?  Both are two years behind in grammar, history and science.

Bob and Marge ask for a principal and teacher meeting (actually the grammar, history and science teachers).  The principal reassures them...no, the kids are OK and normal...simply a bad test.  The three teachers?  They seem pretty marginal, low-IQish, and unqualified).

Bob and Marge hire a lawyer...suing for $750,000 in damages for each kid.  The school lawyer reassures the board and school....the couple can't win.

In court, it comes out that the three teachers for each kid.....are DEI-hirees and not that competent in cross-examination.  The judge agrees....handing the $1.5-million in damages to Bob an Marge.

So, here's the thing....in less than six weeks....more than 3,000 parents across this one single state...do the private testing and hire lawyers.  For more than 30 school boards....it basically is bankrupting them...causing an additional property tax to be discussed to keep the DEI folks on....while more people are suing for damages.

The governor freaks out, and has a 'commission' appointed to figure out the problem....figuring 90 days will cool things off.

Well...the commission comes back and say one out of four teachers hired since 2018...are incompetent.  Then they say no one has the power to release them because of DEI rules.  This only speeds up the process where 50-percent of parents in this state cease participation in public schools, and opt to go private or home-school.  The teachers for the public system?  Several thousand are released because there's not enough students to hold school.

Sadly, the teacher's union can't pay off politicians anymore....because of a lack of funds.

This all triggers a nation-wide crisis.....where colleges start to admit....one-quarter of those in the system....aren't capable of first-year studies and they are recommending a whole year of college be geared to repeat high-school.....meaning you pay for what they didn't teach you.

3.  Department of Defense finally goes in the middle of 2025...asking why there is a manpower crisis for the Air Force, Navy and Army.

The analysis leads to two issues.  Not enough recruits from high school/college.....present-day officers and enlisted are exiting quickly after the 4th to 6th year.

Analysis then says....DEI was the BIG problem that most all cited.

Within a year....virtually all of established DEI standards within the Pentagon....are tossed.

4.  More than 300 companies across the US by the end of 2025....discover that their products....from AC units to washers....aren't being pursued by consumers.  They prefer non-US made hardware.

Why?

Well....after a full year of study....standards of production show fallen quality, with DEI-hired people making substandard equipment.

Several companies start to dismiss inferior personnel, and openly tag their products....made by NON-DEI personnel, which oddly enough catches on.

5.  An analysis of people with serious college debt problems....comes to show that people who fell behind and can't really pay....have a lot of connections to DEI.  The belief (whether true or not)...is that DEI personnel can't find success, even with a degree.

This triggers the federal gov't to opt out of all college loans.

6.  A private study examines the on-camera news people for CNN.....mostly appear to be DEI-hirees, and the study will show that people watching CNN....generally don't believe the stories told to them by the DEI people.  CNN goes to a new strategy.....to train viewers...'you-must-trust-us-even-with-DEI-people'.  This tactic fails miserably.

Around 2100....there's a national fascination over how DEI arrived, was carried out, and miserably failed.  No one can understand why you'd hire people unfit for the work required.

I have a notebook with 30-odd book ideas...fictional. I start a piece and get to 30 pages....it then sits there. After 20 years, I've come to realize I'm a blogger or short story guy. After my1,200 days of life in DC...I had couple of folks who wanted me to package my 1,600 blogs of that era into a book. I wasted 30 days trying to whittle this into a simple 500 page book....i'm presently 4 years later at 1,000 pages.
