I noticed a lesser-journalist who made stops and interviewed people over the past week....asking about their 'feelings' for Kamala Harris.
So this odd factor fell into play.
He probably talked to 200-odd people in this week....just regular people....not journalists, Wall Street types, or pro-NFL guys. Around 20-percent made this odd comment....they don't really know Kamala Harris.
What's that mean? Well....over a 3.5-year period as VP....other than odd TV interviews (like 'The View' or Oprah)....they don't know her. Some of the twenty-percent remember her being from California, and maybe the four years as Senator....but they don't remember anything else.
My own suspicion....if you cornered the other 80-percent.....maybe half of them would admit the same issue....they don't know Harris.
The six years as AG in California? Well...if you lived in California, you might remember her....but if you were from the other 49 state, I doubt if people remember that fact.
The seven years as DA of SF? Same story....if you lived in SF and are in your 50s....you remember her.
Remembering her by the husband (the way you remember Hillary Clinton)? No....he's a nobody, so no one remembers that.
Books written? Zero.
A major step down from Joe Biden? Well....everyone knew Joe Biden....even if he was a bit 'lost' at times.
I'm not saying her campaign is 'lost'. I'm just saying she needs a awful lot of recognition over the next 75 days. She needs interviews and a remarkable amount of face-time.
Problems with independents? Yeah, that's really the bigger issue now.
