How Many People And Fire Rescue Personnel Died When Building Seven Collapsed?

 ZERO.

At the time of the collapse....5:20 PM.....no one was inside.

Among the 40-odd resident organizations in the structure?  Central Intelligence Agency (CIA): (Operated a clandestine station, never fully disclosed), the Department of Defense (DoD) (again never fully disclosed), the Secret Service (maintained a presence, likely for security and investigative operations),and the Internal Revenue Service (IRS).

Just odd....every single person was told to leave, and no firemen allowed to enter.

The Reality of City-Run Stores

Over the weekend....this idea of a city-run grocery-store (suggested in NY City) has been on my mind.  Being process-driven....I considered a number of factors.

First, you'd need to hire the 'CEO'.  Using their logic....it will be a social-worker, lawyer, or community organizer....NOT a grocery-CEO type.

Second, this CEO would hire a staff....figure  at least ten folks.....with none of them probably schooled in the 'art' of running a grocery.  At least $250,000 will be spent on a research crew to figure out a name for the operation  'People's Grocery' will likely be the end-name...or P-G.

Third, at least six sites will be leased...all for a minimum of ten years. All will be in medium-to-upper class neighborhoods.

Fourth, the six managers will be hired, and each making around 150-percent of what the local pay-scale is.  Most will have no background in grocery operations.

Fifth, more than $1-million will be spent on opening day 'show-case' design.

Sixth, about six weeks into operation....it'll be noted that 10-percent of the shelves are empty on a regular basis, and the Soviet nick-names for grocery stores will be commonly used.

Seventh, more than forty guards will be hired by day 60....to handle robbery and theft.

Eighth.....a numbers guy will figure operations cost, and pricing....coming to a number that the stores can only survive if the city itself covers the lease cost and utilities.....otherwise, it's a financial failure.  Several product lines will be noted....refusing to offer products at the management sales cost.

Ninth, all six original managers will be gone by the 12th month of operation...admitting this is way beyond their skill and ability to operate.  Part of their whining goes to the mandate that they have to hire non-English speakers to be employees at the stores.

Tenth and final....more than 20 non-city-run grocery stores will dissolve in the mean-time...admitting they can't be the cost.  This puts the city in a dire position....having to expand a failing grocery operation....to make up for the crappy planning.

A state audit will  eventually occur (by the 3rd year)....admitting $25-million a year has to be injected to  keep the six stores afloat, and to pay the CEO's staff.

Fitness Story

Around 1992, while stationed  at Bitburg Air Base, Germany....my squadron appointed me as one of the fitness-test-gurus (3 of us).  This was the year, they went to bike-testing.

So the three of us go over to the base gym, and 'Larry',  the 'guru of gurus' was set to train use for about 90 minutes.

The training game is to orientate us....then we (two testers) would test the 3rd member of the group.

First guy up....'Kenny'.....a 1.5-pack a day smoker.  I'd offer the opinion that he was average in-shape, and  after the  initial pump-up (maybe 2 minutes)....we started the test, and in roughly seven minutes...wrapped it  up.  'Kenny' passed.

I came up....non-smoker....better than average shape. Same story....2 minutes of build-up and in seven to eight minutes....I passed.

Then  'Wanda' comes up.  She was a 20-mile a week runner....zero fat....she did a half-marathon every other month.

We did the initial 'pump-up' with the bike.....probably four times.  Then we stopped and readjusted all the numbers possible with the stupid bike.  We could not get her heart-rate up to what the test required.

'Larry' did pulled out a cheat-sheet....which  basically said something like 8-percent of all  Air Forces folks could not pass the bike test because they were in over-the-top condition.  So we adjusted the bike values to the harshest level possible....it took maybe four minutes, but we finally got the heart-rate up and started the test.  She marginally passed the test....but by  'Larry' and his cheat-method.....she passed.

A crappy test method?  I probably tested 40 folks the next six weeks.....with four of them in this situation.

Most everyone who tested via the bike...felt it was a failure.

It was one of the ten times that I felt the Air  Force did crappy planning and knew the change was crap, but still proceeded on.

Ten Thoughts

 1.  This NY City mayor primary with Democrat Zohran Mamdani winning?

Look, if you add up the opposition he rant against.....roughly 55 percent of folks voted for someone else from the Dem choices.  Blacks enthusiastic for guy?  No.

Being a former rapper, and media 'click'....doesn't really amount to much experience.

However....NYers are crazy, and it's possible that they'd go and elect a comedian just to make a point....then watch 500,000 residents up and leave over 2026.

2.  Did Joe Biden really 'pick' KBJ for the Supreme Court, or was she already on a short-list of Barak Obama back in 2015/2016?

I'm willing to bet Obama personally met her at least once or twice and he pushed Joe's team to select her.

3.  I'm having mute-finger problems.....as much as I try to watch CNN, CBS, MSNBC, and Fox....I average 16 mutes per news-hour.

4.  If this NY City idea of city-run grocery stores makes sense....why can't city-run bars be next...with no-name beer labels, and 1-dollar  pitchers of beer returning (like the old Air Force NCO clubs used to offer)?

5.  I sat the other day listening to a podcast, and the term....The Great Tribulation....came up.

So for reference, this is a term in Christian eschatology referring to a future period of intense suffering, persecution, and divine judgment, often tied to end-times prophecy.   The suggestion was...since 2020....with the Biden era, the riots, violence and crazy antics going on....we are in the midst of Great Tribulation.

Where did this come from?  Well....biblical texts...Matthew 24:21, where Jesus describes a time of "great tribulation, such as has not been from the beginning of the world until now, no, and never will be," and Revelation 7:14, which mentions a "great tribulation" from which a multitude emerges. The concept is rooted in the Greek word thlipsis, meaning affliction, distress, or oppression, often intensified by the adjective "great".

After a fair amount of review....rationally thinking over this.....I just can't describe reality as INTENSE suffering or DIVINE judgement.  McDonalds still sells the rib sandwich....the Braves doing OK....both Alabama and Auburn football seems on track....God intervened to turn Trumps head last summer....and I just can't see myself suffering much.

6.  Based on Diddy's remaining charges....to be honest....of the five possible charges....it's still pretty likely that he gets a minimum of 10 years in prison, but out in 7 years.

7.  If you show the text term of colonizers to guys over 60.....they ID on colon first, and think you are talking about some stool softner.  So a conversation with a 16-year old kid won't go far.

8.   I use the term 'scam' probably five to ten times a week now.  Prior to 1990....I probably used the term three times a year.

9.  If CNN had covered the Battle of the Alamo (from February 23 to March 6, 1836), in San Antonio, Texas.  They would have said Mexican forces, led by General Antonio López de Santa Anna, had permanently took down the Alamo mission....finally winning the 'war'.

10.  Zohran Mamdani comment on emptying jails:  "Violence is an artificial construct."

Not sure if he's ever been assaulted or beaten up....usually, it's not some artificial feeling.

Three Humble Thoughts

 1.  On the average of twice a year....I'll go and read a Supreme Court opinion piece....to understand how they 'saw' the situation and rendered a decision.

So I read two pieces yesterday....one by KBJ (appointed by Biden) and one by ACB (appointed by Trump).

After finishing up the KBJ piece....I was left with the feeling that neither she, or her clerks wrote the piece....it just seemed to be something that a journalist would have written.

Then I turned to the ACB piece....which took time to identify KBJ, and 'knock'  down a step that she wasn't capable of doing the 'job'.  Yeah, it was a harsh moment of reality.

All of this concerns the executive limits of President Trump and the majority of the court said that judges can't really rule over the Executive Branch of the gov't.

Just an odd feeling....maybe some law degrees aren't the same.

2. I watched a 6-minute piece where a CNN analyst went to say....Trump was 'winning'....meaning he was on a roll that we haven't seen in a long time.

I will admit this....I've never seen a situation where you needed two or three updates a day....tracking announcements/changes.

3.  On my index of weird....maxing at a ten....from NY City, a trans person wearing devil horns....was twerking on a police officer while holding a cross and a sign that reads “Mary Magdalene”.

Two Things

 1.  The five US states affected by the 2030 Census....if illegals are  NOT counted:

California: 5 to 6 House seats  lost

Texas: 5 House seats lost

Florida: 2 House seats lost

New Jersey: 1 to 2 House seats lose

Illinois: 1 House seat lost

2.  President Trump today requested a special prosecutor to investigate the 2020 election.

Odds of jail-time?  Near 1-percent.  But if you were in the middle of it.....getting paid something....you might want to find some country to go and hide out.

Four Humble Thoughts

 1.  I've watched the 1 hour 51 minute 'talk' between Bernie Sanders and Joe Rogan....entirely.

So, I'll just say it....Bernie tried to get at least 15 points across that were false/misleading, and Rogan pushed back on every single one of them.

Trying to get this type of push-back from CNN or Fox?  Impossible.

This is why I enjoy Rogan's conversations.

In the end....I'm not that impressed with Bernie.

2.  I watched Senator Kennedy give a talk from yesterday......quote: "Do we give money to Fox? Do we give money to Politico? Then WHY are we giving money to public broadcasting? Why?"

He is correct....NPR will survive on without fed-funds, but it'll be a lesser organization.

3.  Trump is the only President ever....to use the F-word, and not feel hindered by uttering it.

4.  Investment-wise, I'm having the best year of the past decade, and it's only half-way through the year.

Six Humble Observations

 1.  The Immigration Reform and Control Act (IRCA or the Simpson–Mazzoli Act), passed by the 99th United States Congress....was signed into law by U.S. President Ronald Reagan on November 6, 1986.

Within four years....the problem reappeared and simply 'replanted' itself.

Best guess today?  Between 12 and 14 million....is considered a 'fair' number.

In areas like Texas and California?  Combined?  Some folks figure 5-million in the two states.

If you remove the illegals from the Census?  Both states would likely lose 5-to-6 House seats each.

2.  If you asked me to define a 'loser' in 1980.....it would  mean something totally different in 2025.

3.  People who admit they have physical issues (over-eating, lack of energy, more  boozing) because of Trump-Delusionary-Syndrome (TDS)....will need a new defined medical term, and probably a rehab requiring a minimum of 3.5 years of help.

4.  I suspect if you asked 100 20-year old adults....have you ever watched a movie from the 1930s, 1940s, or 1950s....more than 60-percent will say 'no'.

5. Trump says he's now started interviewing candidates to replace the Fed Chairman.  Way ahead of schedule.

6.  People who seem happy.....around clock....365 days a year....I suspect are medicated on something.

Three Things

 1.  This socialist guy running as a Democrat for NY City's mayor position....has said he wants city-run grocery stores....which he details as zero-profit operations.  I've sat and pondered the idea.

First, you can figure to get the property leased for just three stores....you'd be talking about $20-million to lease-up and make the properties presentable.

By the opening point....figure around another $20-million to fill the shelves.

Then you say zero-profit.....just sales taxes.  Salary business?  I don't think he's ever run a business.

So I'll just say it....about 18 months later....the three will be a scandal situation where the city is sinking $1-million a week into operating cost for each store.

2.  I've watched about an hour of the Joe Rogan interview with Bernie Sanders.

God.....Bernie comes across as a nutcase.  The way he sells the party?  I would have to consume half-a-bottle of Jack Daniels to get 'happy' with the Democratic message/brand.

3.  Just for the record....the NY City Dem primary......almost 57-percent of Dems voted against Mamdani (the socialist guy).  It's not a great number to base your campaign against.

2028?

I sat this morning....asking Grok of Twitter to list the top 15 Democratic politicians currently.

After a while....I came to this pondering....it's almost like a collection of comedians, being given a six-pack of Mountain Dew and performing for some comedy show.

The list?

Barack Obama - Former President.

Bernie Sanders - Senator from Vermont.

Kamala Harris - Former Vice President.

Hakeem Jeffries - House Minority Leader.

Elizabeth Warren - Senator from Massachusetts.

Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez - Representative from New York.

Bill Clinton - Former President.

Pete Buttigieg - Former Transportation Secretary.

Gretchen Whitmer - Governor of Michigan.

Jon Ossoff - Senator from Georgia.

Adam Schiff - Senator from California.

John Fetterman - Senator from Pennsylvania.

Josh Shapiro - Governor of Pennsylvania.

Gavin Newsom - Governor of California.

Cory Booker - Senator from New Jersey.

The comical  side to 2028?  Either the Presidential candidate or the VP candidate....has to be either trans, a woman, or gay guy.

My Theory On Putin, Iran, Ukraine, And Israel

I have this theory.  Somewhere along summer of 2023....with the Ukraine-Russia war in a dismal situation for Russia....I think that Putin turned to his 'friends' in Iran and asked them to put the US/EU into a bigger bind....lessening support for the Ukraine....by getting a Palestinian-Israel civil conflict going.  Iran would sect its Hamas folks onto Israel.

It didn't take a lot of encouragement, and the conflict started up.

About six months into this....Iran began to realize that Hamas was in a terrible situation....so Iran encouraged it's second folks...Hezbollah to also get involved.  That also...over six months....went bad.

So the Mullahs then went to  nuke discussions, and this got Israel to another level.

As Israel engaged...the Mullahs then turned to Putin and asked for military help....discovering that they were limited to mostly empty talk.

The military folks in Iran with almost no options now?  Yeah.

Adding to this....Putin has played every single card in his 'deck', Trump had a pretty long talk with Putin several days prior to the bombing. I'm guessing he laid out some cards....letting oil-plus-up card laying on the table (positive for Putin if he does nothing much) be shown.

Zelensky in all that lays there?  I'm wondering about that.

Trump ended the Pakistan-India conflict.  He has the right 'cards' being played to end the Iran-Israel conflict.  And maybe he has the 'cards' to get Putin to a table. Nobel Peace Prize guys?   Yeah....they might be cornered....giving Trump the award.

Ten Things I've Learned

 1.  Journalism, in pure form....probably died somewhere around 2000 to 2005.

2.  Probably in the 1980s....5-percent of folks could recognize propaganda.  Today?  It's between 30 and 50 percent of the population.

3.  I learned this AM....that the American College of Cardiology no longer recommends diet and exercise for weight loss.  Go straight to Ozempic.  I guess I don't need to dump fatty food, cookies or ice cream.

4.  The Emerald City 'invention' (seen in the Wizard of Oz)....was 100-percent BS, and no matter how much people bullshit about it truly existing....there is no such place.

5.   It's amazing how many journalists now pop up and admit Joe Biden was 'out' for four years.  It's like they were on vacation for the whole era, and never observed anything.

6.  It appears....virtually every 'big' construction project in LA....is currently on shut-down status because of a lack of manpower.  Some probably won't restart in 2025.  Cause?  ICE raids.

7.  Probably five-percent of the nation is mentally unstable.  The question is....do you just pause things and force yourself to accept nutcases in the yard or at the coffee shop?

8.  Numbers-wise....California is figured to have 2.7-million illegal migrants....giving them 5 extra Congressional Districts. The way that the math works....this balances out to the twenty-lowest states with representation.   So you can grasp why it's detrimental not to arrest or chase-out any illegals from the state.

9.  If you pay close attention to five minutes of WNBA action....there's at least five 'walks'....which are never called.

10.  I think the whole of Democratic Party, across the nation, are now committed to  comedy...duplicating Saturday Night Live.

Exploited Laborers?

This term....exploited laborers....has been on my mind for a week now.

Basically....each time you work a migrant-illegal into the mix....you are exploiting someone.  When you stop at the transmission shop,  and some 'Jose' from Venezuela does a $1,200 job for the 'boss'....the state and social security are not getting their 'cut' of the job.

Same deal when you buy coffee and muffins from the illegal lady at the donut shop.

Is this 1850ish?  Well...yeah, it is some form of slave-labor  that we just overlook...mostly because we got used to it.

The Democratic Party now handcuffed?  Well....yeah, that's another angle to this whole story.

Greater LA surviving off half-a-million exploited labor folks?  Same story in Vegas?

How you explain this in financial numbers?  You can't, and it just begs more questions.

Four Humble Thoughts

 1.  This US bunker-bomb attack on Iran.

US story.....12 x bunker-busters dropped.  Iran....entrance and exit leveled, but facility still existing.

For some reason I don't believe the Iran side of the story.  Facility was 90 meters below the surface....300 ft.

My belief?  This was a pretty large underground facility.  There might be a section or two that didn't collapse.  But here's the thing....all those support personnel who were down there....are probably 'goners'....includes scientist/military folks.  Then you have probable radiation results going on.

I  doubt that anyone really wants to dig down and save anyone.

2.  Retaliation from Iran?

Some ex-CIA analyst back in early 2025...said that there were around 1,000 Iranian 'agents' in the US and waiting on orders.  I felt part of this was BS....but now I wonder....if they were activated....what the targets would be?

3.  Some evidence that enriched uranium was removed from this bombed site....2 days prior?

Satellite imagery detail....just a convoy of trucks leaving.

Maybe they had some nuke warheads hastily prepared and removed for safety.

4.  If China did drop in 100k fake driving licenses and million-plus absentee ballots for the 2020 election?

Before August, I expect Trump to  appoint a group (probably 3 Republicans and 2 Democrats, retired) to assess the evidence.

My question....if you've already done it once....why didn't they do it for 2024?

As for the system working?  You'd have to dismantle every single  poll listing, and remake every single license in America....making it impossible to  accomplish things by November 2026.

But I end this with an odd question....if they helped Biden in this 2020 effort....what House/Senate/Governors.....did they go and help?  Is Newsom a product of this effort?

Trained To Be A Killer....Off The Books?

Minnesota politician assassin Vance Boelter now says (in  written text)....he was trained 'off-the-books' by US military to kill people.

I tried to contemplate this.

Best I can assume.....he hung  out with Minnesota Nat'l Guard folk....like Governor Tim, got some drug-up situation going on, and they spent  several hours giving him BS stuff...convincing the guy that he could be a Minnesota James-Bond-like killer.

Nothing on this make sense.

Regular Army having some 'off-the-books' killer-training course?  Maybe the Rangers or Green Beret folks....but the rest would have normal boot-camp training.  Maybe he spent a weekend with them and thinks he got special training.

I'm guessing at this point....the wife is asking questions and beginning to believe the guy is a nutcase (maybe always was a nutcase).

This all  contrived by CIA guys?  Well....if you pull out the Oswald story....from beginning to end....nothing makes sense (very similar to this guy).

Then you have the other story....this guy was told by Governor Tim....to go murder the standing Senator to Minnesota...so Tim could replace her.  If he had done this...quietly, without getting suspected?  Makes you wonder.

Crystal Ball Predictions

1.  By the end of 2026....some US clinic will offer a vitamin/hormone treatment for kids (ages 6 to 12) to enhance their IQ by 10-plus points.  Thousands of parents will rush in and beg to pay the $12,000 per year to get 'Mona' and 'Johnny' smarter.

With the package....the clinic requires mental health counseling....saying the kids can't handle the increased intellectual ability without being told/coached in a certain way.

Within a year, it'll be established that the injections do next to nothing...and the kids were mostly BS'ed in some way to fake-believe they were brighter....when they weren't.

Ten years down the road....the kids will be deemed a problem now because they are fairly normal but continually want to prove they are ultra-bright and intellectual.

2.  Around 2035....more than 500,000 American women will be identified as single (never married), fairly leftist, and miserable over the lack of husband.

A social company will start up selling counseling (brain-washing) to get the women to a point of accepting MAGA-men...for a price of $16,000 for a four-week rehab in some desert location.

3.  By the summer of 2027, a Democratic version of  Joe Rogan will be established.  At best, for each 100 of Joe's listeners....there's 3 for the Democratic version.

About six months into this 'era'....this  person utters a comment doesn't agree with the Dem-crowd, and a year later (after the 2028 election)....the guy disappears.  Joe Rogan actually goes to interview him after the 'gimmick' ends.

4. Justice Thomas gives notice of leaving the Supreme Court at the very end of 2025.  When asked later about the worst part of the job...he responds...'don't send crazy people to argue your case before the Supreme Court'.

5.  AI will be 'blessed' with some tool within three years.....to review your commentary on social media, and proclaim you a 'racist'.  A 2nd AI program will review the racist-AI program....to say it's built/designed....to throw the identification out there with random numbers.

6.  Some foundation starts to IQ-test entry-level college students by 2028....discovering four years later....that 15-percent exit four years later with a 5-point drop in IQ.  Blame?  Either drug-use, alcohol consumption, or they were destined for a drop.

Eight Humble Thoughts

1.  In the back of my head....I have this sinking feeling that a third of society (adults)....are mentally structured to think like 3rd-grade kids.

2.  Sunny Houston of the VIEW....says 'Many blacks and women won't be able to VOTE if ID is required’.

If you lined up 1-million Americans...of the age of 18 or older....we'd probably find only 20 folks with zero ID, and they would fit into a category of mentally unfit, drug addicts, or with some disorder where they irrationally fear IDs.

3.  The more this Biden/auto-pen BS is discussed....the MORE I think it has to be forbidden and identified as a threat to democracy.

4.  The minute we got to $7 a cup for the XXL cup of specialty coffee at Starbucks....reality fell apart for the working class...convinced that they could afford such a coffee....daily.

5.  For those who  aren't into this stuff.....a bunker-buster bomb and a MOAB (the GBU-43/B Massive Ordnance Air Blast)....whats the difference of the two?

When you want to get down deep into a cave complex....you use the bunker-buster.

You use a MOAB when you want to demonstrate a massive non-nuclear impact to an enemy.....leveling off half of an entire base of operations.  It's more of a inspiration weapon.

6.  For reference, back in 2003....it was figured that 40,000 Mullah-students were in a training program in Iran.  It's figured by the late 1980s....over 80 seminaries existed in Iran.

In rough numbers (in Iran).....for each 300 resident (kids too)....there's one Mullah.  More Mullahs....than dentists (roughly 35,000 nation-wide).

7.  My impression of WNBA action?  It's about two steps away from being professional wrestling....and fake.

8.  With all this nutty behavior on airplanes....it's time to create a personal bond program....you buy a ticket and there's a $25,000 bond attached to it (included in the cost)...you trigger any whacky stuff in the airport or on the plane....you get taken by the cops, and the bond becomes airline property.  You successfully complete the trip with no issues....the bond-fee is refunded within 7 days.

Ten Dynamics Of Change Which AI Will Bring (Probably By 2035)

 1.  Baseball umpires will be entirely replaced, with AI calling the plays.

2.  The NBA will eventually introduce AI to work side-by-side with ref's.

3.  Cube-modules will be developed in schools where a kid is placed in a sound-proof booth....lectured by AI, and given intense lessons designed to 'fit' for the kid.  Homework/classwork will be entirely done at school.  AI will test kids on a daily basis, and advance each individually.  AI will eventually advance kids 1.5 years for each year of instruction...meaning by age 15...they are prepared to move on...either to trade-school or college.  AI will also project success or failure rate of college attendees....preventing goofballs from attending.

4.  AI on farms will reach a level where 'it' knows each of the farm's 122 head of cattle....naming each, and monitoring their health statistics. AI will operate a drone over your farm and scan for cattle each morning...giving you a status report of all 122 cattle within a 30 minute period.

5.  Grocery AI  will be developed to such a degree...that facial recognition will occur, and if you are on the 'bad-boy' list....AI will  alert the security and prevent you from entering the store.  As bad-boys begin to realize....more than 90-percent of grocery options will not be possible.

6. AI by 2035 will probably monitor Congressmen and Senators on financial aspects....letting residents know of corrupt  practices.

7.  AI-mechanic will be developed to scan errors on a car software....telling you the problem, and asking if you want the part and AI-advice on how to fix the car yourself.

8.  AI-movie creation....will eventually lead to 12 different versions of 'To Kill A Mockingbird'....with AI-John Wayne, AI-Paul Newman, and AI-Steve Martin playing Atticus Finch.

9.  AI-Coffee Index will eventually come to 'warn' you on various coffee brands....which are overly rated but not of sufficient quality.

10.  AI-match-maker will eventually be used to pair up people....to ensure successful relationships occur.  So you could tell AI-MM that you only want to pair up with a gal who is 6'3'', consumed about NFL football, who rates only as a '3' on the liberal-nutcase index, and is pro-beef.  AI-MM will search a 7-state area and eventually find such a gal, and arrange a date with you. Long and successful marriages will become normal.

Where All This Iran Crap Is Leading Onto?

First, there's no doubt that the fall 'invasion' in 2023 of Israel by Hamas....was dreamed up in Tehran....sponsored by the Iranians.  Some might go and suggest the Russians wanted the Americans stuck in a difficult balancing act between the Ukraine and Israel.

This led to reaction that Hamas/the Iranians probably didn't expect....the total destruction agenda of the Gaza Strip.  So the Hezbollah folks in Lebanon got dragged in, and they were next on the 'screwed-list'.....with Tehran now wondering how to get ahead.  So the nuke-threat agenda got discussed again.

All of this led back to Israel discussing the end of the Iran regime...once and for all...something that Trump didn't want to really engage upon.

So we are at a end-point and I'd suggest three likely end-scenarios:

1.  Mullahs kicked completely out, and the return of the 'King' (the son of the Shah).  To be honest, if you open this up to the Saudis  and most neighbors....it's  not a bad situation.

2.  Mullahs kicked out, but a new round of elections occur, and a new parliament elected....with no limits on party choices.  This is the NO-KING scenario.

3.  Mullahs stay but fairly limited on nuke energy...only under supervised control.  Least likely successful long-term scenario.

The hinge to all of this?  If you go and survey folks....somewhere between 60 and 80 percent of the public (depending on how you word the survey)....want the Mullahs gone.  After that....it gets tricky about bringing the King back.

If the Mullahs left (in the 10,000 range minimum)....where exactly do they go?  I don't think anyone (even Pakistan or Afghanistan) want them.  Going to Russia?  No way.  Saudis?  No freaking way.

The fact that something is going to occur...but only with Trump around to swing deals?  Yeah, that's the odd part of the story.

Wednesday Observations

1..  Just interesting....PhD guys are asking Artificial Intelligence (AI) to study on time-travel.  My humble guess.....in six months....AI will figure out that this is a top ten problem, and devote more unnoticed study.

Just makes me wonder if all this UFO/drone chatter last year.....is some evidence from 100 years in the future...where AI is now sending 'aliens' back to our time for some oddball reason.

2.  After viewing all this chatter of 'NO KINGS'....I'm of the mind we should start up a 'NO QUEENS' counter-group.

3.  Watching about 15 minutes a day of CNN/MSNBC...I probably hear at least three incitements for violence.  I just don't remember this BS back in the 1980s/1990s.  Imagine some nitwit watching four hours a day of the BS.

4.  Where the LA riots are headed?  Eventually, the crowd will go and injure forty-odd bystanders....with them suing the city for a billion dollars...for failing to establish public safety.  Only by bankrupting the city....will this come to an end.

5.  If you counted up 10,000 voters from three months ago, and asked today....are you now more-so pro-Gavin Newsom.....no one would utter a 'change'.

6.  My humble belief.....If you packed up 100 pro-Mexico Americans and sent them to actual Mexico....more than 90-percent would ask to return within 30 days.

7.  The staff from the Louvre (the Paris most-visited museum) is in a shut-down situation....demanding changes because of mass tourism and the stress involved.

8.  This is the week from 10 years ago....that Donald Trump declared his candidacy.  Just odd remembering this, and how quick he was dismissed by news types.

9. For  anyone in protest-status, blocking roads and threatening drivers....I think you should be detained, and sent to a 30-day mental  evaluation....each time....to determine if you are mentally fit or 'suicidal'.  Once it's happened twice....you should get a longer stay (6 months) and be treated for suicidal feelings.

10.  What if Iran prepares to close the Strait of Hormuz?  Thirty-percent of world oil....would stop.

Reaction?  This by itself draws the US into the conflict.  Russia being happy by this event?  Yeah....it means their oil is now worth something.

11.  My humble  thoughts on people blocking streets/road/interstates.  Police (local/state/fed) should be authorized to pick up such people and take them to a local mental hospital for a 7-day evaluation period....on why they are so suicidal in nature.  If you've been on this 'wave' three times or more....the visits to the mental facility should be a minimum of 30 days.

12. I'm having trouble believing....America is apparently a country of 330M people and yet every industry has a difficult time “finding workers.”

Something doesn't make sense.

13.  I believe as the Ukraine-Russia war finally simmers and ends (hopefully by the end of 2025)....Russia will go into a crisis stage...admitting that they are in urgent need of massive manpower (3-to-5 million workers), and will end up with India providing a lot of this support.

Four Observations

 1.  With this MN killing business....if they don't find dna at the murder scenes, or the pistol....then convicting the guy (my humble belief) is near impossible.

Adding to this....cops confirm whatever papers they found...DON'T amount to being a manifesto.

2.  Bluesky was supposed to be the App for liberals...like Twitter is for conservatives.

So in the past week or two...I've noted a lot of commentary.....that Bluesky is trending downward...less comments....less chatter.

Various reasons given, but obviously....no one central trigger.

3.  FBI now says....for 2020 election....fake licenses were generated by China and shipped in....along with fake mail-in ballots.

If true....it means that around 8-to-10 million votes were generated.

Polling lists?  If true....you'd have to toss each listing, and force a whole new system out of thin air.

4.   New York mayor election.....Islamist socialist candidate wants to have state owned grocery stores.

If this guy was to win and you live in NY City....my advice....haul your stuff out of the city and deem it unlivable.

How Trump Marketed Himself

I was one of those people who watched Donald Trump in the 1980s/1990s....on talk-shows (Larry King, Oprah, Phil Donahue, etc).  By 2015, when he started talking about a campaign.....there were four blunt 'truths'....Trump was more of a TV reality guy than a politician....Trump seemed to know more about economics or finance than every member of the House/Senate....Trump was this rare breed of character that you could pose a thousand questions to, and get a response.....and finally, Trump was basically a 1980s Democrat in a suit and projected himself as Republican in character.

So....here's the odd thing....there's at least five TV networks who burned through their trust to take down Trump....failing.  In the case of CBS and 60 Minutes....they lost a fair amount of their audience.

What Trump projects?  I'd say he's become this mythical creation....Odysseus, Homer, Neo (from Matrix), Buffy the Vampire slayer, James Bond, Beowulf, Jean Valjean (redeemed hero of Les Misérables), Aslan (the Lion savior in The Chronicles of Narnia), Tarzan, and Perseus (the Greek hero who killed Medusa)....all bundled up and running a daily 'stage-show'.

Trying to equate Kamala Harris at Trump's level?  It was never possible.

The fact that everything seems to be a staged theatrical show now?  Well...yeah, that does come up in my mind.  If the Democrats had a version of Trump....then they'd launch him  right now...but the best they can stage is Governor Newsom of California.  On my showman index (1-to-10)....he can barely scratch a '5'.

Five Observations

 1.  I've probably watched about two hours now of 'NO KINGS' action from the weekend.  They claim....nationally....about 2.5-million people showed up at various sites. Not sure about that claim.

One odd thing....at some NC showing....I'd say of the folks who showed up...more than 90-percent appeared to be age 65 or older.  Maybe that means something....maybe not.

2.  Iranian propaganda BS.   I've probably viewed at least forty photos of the Israeli attack on Iran....which are faked-up.

3.  There's a insider trading investigation going on with AOC.  Stupid crap....but if they can lay down a charge or two.....could be a hefty fine and maybe even a couple of months in jail....just for making a $1-million on insider knowledge.

4. The moment you run out of rational things to say/suggest....you need to practice the art of silence.

5.  The rumor is....12 Senators (unknown party status) are under investigation for bribes.   If prosecution occurs....12 folks are finished and whole new crew would have to arrive before the end of 2025.

LA Chatter

"I don't think the President understands that we have entire sectors of our economy that can not function without immigrant labor."

-- LA Mayor Karen Bass

I paused over the comment for a while...thinking....so since early 1990s...everything in LA that came after Reagan's 'deal' for the migrants....ensured this slave-like economy.

You needed 400 man-hours of landscaping a year....but weren't willing to pay normal wage....you hired a Mexican for the 60-to-70 percent wage of that normal wage.

You needed 16,000 man-hours of roofing repair for your small company each year....you hired a Mexican.

You needed 40,000 man-hours of restaurant work per year.....you hired a Mexican.

You needed 20,000 man-hours a year for your muffler shop....you hired a Mexican.

It was a non-existent and fake economy.  I hate to say it....but we basically need a 'Lincoln' to sort this out and clean up the mess.

Ten Humble Thoughts About Manifesto Writings

I wrote this in mid-2023, and re-wrote part of it today

 1.  I've read around seve manifesto pieces (the last one being this Nashville nutcase) in my life, and generally....all of them have the problem of a writer who is marginally rational, sometimes severely irrational and probably not capable of living in a society with other people.

2.  The writers of manifesto documents....tend to want to fix/resolve world or society problems.  I'm not saying their vision or thoughts would work....just that they want a broke system to be fixed.

3.  Even a 3rd grader could probably sit and write a simple one-page manifesto.  I'm not saying it's a talent you really need....just that anyone can write BS like that.

4.  People seem to be attracted to commerce, political or society type manifestos.  You just don't see someone writing a manifesto over NBA rules, winter tires, or weight issues.

I'll add here.....if you asked me about it being a male or female thing.....women seem less inclined to fix things....so I think it's mostly a male-dominated thing.

5.   When someone wants to protect you from reading a manifesto....they seem to have the thought that you can't handle the content or chosen topic.  Naturally, they have read it....meaning they can handle it.

6.  I get the sense (maybe I'm wrong) that more men write manifesto documents, than women.  Maybe women just walk out and skip this BS-gotta-write-a-manifesto, and just make change without a lot of chatter.

7.  There doesn't seem to be any value to writing a 7-page manifesto....to writing a 700-page manifesto....on the same subject material.  You'd think that readability would make a guy keep change ideas to just twenty pages max.

My advice....if you are leaning toward 700 pages of manifesto....you probably should be looking for real work (hauling hay), or starting cult following.

8.  Is the Bible a manifesto?  Well.....you might make the case that the Old Testament might fit into this way.

9.  The problem in that two guys could write a manifesto each....on the same topic....equaling 700 pages each, and each come to a totally separate vision/problem?  Yeah, it's possible.

10.  The odds of a hundred folks being offered 'free' manifesto material, and 99 flat turn down the opportunity to read such a document?   Yeah, that is part of the sales problem of manifesto creation.

Egypt Chatter

Over the past month or two, I've been following the scan business of the ground under the Pyramids (in Egypt).

So  someone spent some time to image the data into a graphic chart.

My thoughts?

First, whatever amount of time people speculated on the building of the pyramid structure....with the underground stuff....logically, you should triple the building time.

Level of engineering talent?  It's stuff that only a PhD-type engineer would dream up (at today's level).

Then the issue comes up....with all other structures in Egypt....are any built like this?  No.....which means it's probably a whole different crowd who built this...from scratch.

Then, the new added details say that the Great Sphinx has the same underground structure....so they were all built around the same time.

Purpose of the spirals and the structures underground?  You would not go to this layer of detail....to bury a body or two.  It has to have purpose/design.

Digging down?  So far, the Egyptian authorities have not gone to suggest that.  Their whole story....for at least two-hundred years....doesn't really fit well with this 'bunker-stuff'.

Purpose of the structures under the ground?  I'm of the mindset that it's electrical generation of some type.

Digging?  I'd suggest digging one single hole adjacent to the Great Sphinx....connect to the spirals, and eventually to the structure.  You could do this in six weeks.  The question is...could you handle some crazy scenario where it's technology at least a hundred years more advanced than what we have today?

Does The 'We-Hate-America' Or 'No-Kings' Advertising Work?

 Well...NO.

If you already hated America....it does help reinforce your logic, laying a secondary layer of cult-BS on top of what you already have..

Maybe if you grew up in western Oregon/Washington or the LA area....you might have 50-percent of the public believing in some of the BS.  If you grew up in the midwest, Tennessee, or deep-south....it's hard to influence more than 10-percent of folks to feel 'hate' on the US.

All of this evolving into a NO-BS campaign, or NO-radicals campaign,  or NO-riot campaign?  Yeah, I could see people reacting that way.

I end this commentary with one analysis....all this 'babble' reminds me of Joe Biden talks from the past four years.....mostly making little sense.  Did Joe design the No-Kings BS?

This Whole Vance Boetler 'Saga'

For about 12 hours....I've been following this 'saga'.

Nothing makes sense.

Boetler was a 7-11 manager....who happened to hook up with Governor Walz.  Then he's hooked with a USAID program in the Congo....millions moving around.

Boetler then happens to have millions to spend on property.

Money-laundering situation?  It just looks like he moved a couple million a month, and had a machine to avoid being noticed.

Elon's crew destroying the model?  Yeah.

But the more you look at this....fake PhD degree....all-connected up.....former 7-11 manager status.  He seems like a CIA Oswald/PhD character.

I don't think you will ever see the guy alive, and it's better if the 'controllers' simply take him out of the public eye.

Odd thing?  He has a manifestowhich happens to be deemed inappropriate to release to the public.  Wonder why?

Iran: More of the 1970s Spiral Story

Yesterday, I told a good bit of the history decline of Iran, and the Shah.  A fair amount of the ending....leads to economic woes of the 1970s.   So this blog today digs into the end.

One single problem in economics?  No.  This was a cascade of issues....some related to the Shah's management of things...some by bad luck.

First, there was a over reliance on oil profits/revenue.  The bulk account for the majority of government revenue. Amazingly....the 1973 oil boom, triggered by OPEC's price hikes, gave Iran a flow of cash.....but this also hooked up the nation to a chaotic economic path.

When oil prices dipped and fluctuated....the nation wasn't ready for this type of environment.  All of this....with the Shah's 5th Development Plan (coming in 1973 and lasting through 1978).....was planned oil income positives....not the negatives.

From 1970s on....inflation was a yearly topic.  The Shah's crew cranked up the "White Revolution" and designed a pretty aggressive industrialization scheme to re-make Iran into a European-style economy.  Within this mix....came big plans for infrastructure, military, and nuclear-power projects.

Inflation level?   Twenty-percent per year...minimum.  The working class?  Screwed.

Then came economic mismanagement.  Large-scale projects with unsustainable growth were prioritized. Bureaucratic inefficiency went hand-in hand with corruption....with elites and insiders getting rich.

Public anger was noted as these issues were seen.

Then came the effort to modernize agriculture...which oddly changed traditional family farming systems.  The small small farmer couldn't compete....so they packed up and moved to urban cities for 'real' jobs (this simply created urban slums by the mid-1970s).  Late 1970s?  Iran's agriculture’s share of the GDP had dropped like a rock, and Iran became dependent on food imports.

All of this led to what one could describe as social inequality....where the rich did ok, but the working class were left to deal with inflation and housing shortages.

Skilled labor shortages?  Yeah....so the effort to update ports, roads, airports and power grids were in a spiral. This led to a lack of trained professionals...meaning non-Iranian expensive foreign contractors.

So as Iran approached 1980....unemployment was up in the 10-to-15 percent range....inflation was killing off public support for the Shah.

It was an odd public anger where four groups were now...anti-Shah.  The radical Islamic crowd....the radical leftist folks, the urban-working-class, and nationalists, all pitted against the Shah, and not  really grasping what the alternate path would bring.

The Shah?  You could make a case that he was surrounded by people who didn't really agree his agenda....saw insider ways of getting rich, and weren't capable of evolving the general plan when it was leading to failure.

It's been 45 years of the 'after-the-Shah' agenda, and you probably could say that the period has been just as screwed up as the 1970s....just longer in duration.  Banks marginally work....capital mostly flows out of the country as business owners don't see a reason to expand.

Inflation?  Since 2000....up to to 2010...it was in the 10-to-15 percent range.  From 2010 to 2020....20-to-30 percent per year  inflation rate.  From 2020 to today?  Mostly 30-to-40 percent range.

Currency issue?  If you have excess Iranian currency....you convert to dollars, Euro or Dubai currency.....arranging for it to leave the country.

Amazing story.

If You Have To Pay People To Protest

I read a piece this AM....where some folks in Seattle  were going to pay approximately $125 an hour....if you showed up and did a protest situation.  A four-hour block?  You'd get $500.

Cash?  Well....that's the hint given.

In rural areas of the US....for hauling hay...the basic rate starts at $15 an hour, and you can find in some areas....it's up to $20 to $30 an hour (depending on the area and heat).

So you could make pretty good money for a 4-hour afternoon....protesting.

My question is....if you have to pay folks.....is your protest even genuine in  nature/scoop?  It just seems to me to be a fake-protest...if you need 200 folks (costing $100k).

Would Republicans pay $125 per hour?  I doubt it.....they'd probably offer ice tea, some donuts, and a brief prayer for your safety/health.

All of this a fraud....with CNN or NBC trying to image the protest in some frame of mind.....but not telling you that the 500 folks at such-and-such protest were mostly faked-up?

Basic History of Iran From 1945 to 1980?

After World War II, Iran was occupied by Soviet and British forces due to its strategic importance and oil resources.

The Allies forced Reza Shah Pahlavi to abdicate/leave power in 1941.  His son, Mohammad Reza Shah, took the throne.  It's safe to say that Pahlavi was 'friendly' to the Germans in this 1941 period.....so the Brits and Soviets pushed the 'dad' out.

After WW II?  Cold War dynamics fall into play.  Iran became a geopolitical battleground between the US, U.K., and USSR.

The Soviets for a couple of years....support separatist movements in Azerbaijan, Iran and Kurdistan, but withdrew in 1946 under international pressure (at least they say this story).

Around 1951...Prime Minister Mohammad Mossadegh  comes along.  He's mostly a Iran nationalist.  Mossadegh's agenda?  Basically starts a movement to nationalize the Anglo-Iranian Oil Company (AIOC).

This starts a British-led boycott of Iranian oil and economic woes. In 1953, the US and U.K. design a coup (Operation Ajax) to oust Mossadegh.  This solidifies the Shah’s power and securing Western oil interests.

This starts a 25-year period with the Shah.  Iran...in several odd ways...gets westernized.  There's all these reforms (women's rights) from 1963 on.  From 1967....Iran Air expands routes, and Tehran’s Mehrabad Airport becomes a regional hub.

By the early 1970s, Iran is in the middle of tourism 'boom'...with 100k to 200k western visitors per year.  Everything you see in Dubai today?  That was the growing potential of Iran in the 1970s.

Luxury tourism factor?  That's another odd story....Five-star hotels like the Tehran Hilton and the Shah’s promotion of Iran as a “gateway to the East” caters to affluent travelers. You even start seeing package tours by Western agencies included Iran alongside Egypt or Turkey.

Starting around the early 1970s....discontent starts to become evident.  The groups?  Oddball form....secular intellectuals, students, bazaar merchants, and the Shia clergy, led by figures like Ayatollah Khomeini.  Oddly....the Shah’s secularism and authoritarianism are a problem.

Beginning of the end?  Well...economic woes increase.  No one can say the exact turn or path of problems....but they connect up to political repression, protests in 1978, the death of Khomeini’s son (blamed on the secret police), and widespread demonstrations.  Russians involved?  You can probably lay that out there but there's limited facts to talk about.

From early 1979 on?  It's a gov't led by Kohmeini's crew....with limited  economic recovery, and

How many Iranians support dumping the Kohmeini-thugs?  Well....a Dutch group tried to do a independent statistical collection in 2022.  What they suggest is that around 81-percent of adults want a complete change in gov't.

As bad as the Shah's path fell apart....Kohmeini's crew has arrived at the same location.  A lot of this disgruntlement due to economics and cost of living?   I think the bulk want a change, period....thinking anybody would be better than the current group running the  program.

Finally....if the US and UK had never bothered to throw out the PM in 1953? Some folks wonder about that.....what Iran would  be like today...without all the religious turmoil.

Attention Story

I tried to make sense out of this Charlotte NC story..

Local gal....on the city council.....Tiawana Brown....in position for an re-election....now indicted on federal charges for stealing $115,000 in COVID funds.  Note....NOT state charges.

So you might wonder....how she spent the $115k?  Well....allegedly...she used the funds to throw herself a $15,000 birthday party.

I paused over this.  I grew up in a rural farming community, and the biggest deal someone might 'throw'....would be a bar-b-q, and a banjo-picker or two.

So this gal hired up some catering operation....which featured a throne and horse-drawn carriage for the display.

Throne, and horse-carriage?  Yeah.

Just arriving at such an event....I'd be asking (as a guest)....how you can afford a $15k affair.  When you go and steal money....the last thing you should do....is draw attention to yourself.  This being the only time she ever got caught?  I doubt it.

Fed time?  Maybe there's potential for a deal, but I'm guessing she'll have to serve a minimum of 6 months unless she pays back the $115k.  If it were me....I'd go to family members....beg and borrow  the cash,  and try to deal as quickly as possible.

Five Observations

 1.  I sat this AM....trying to watch Washington Senator Patty Murray struggle in some childish way....uttering a fake cry during dramatic and juvenile-like speech.

It's childish how play-acting is such a part of politics today, with these dimwits unable to 'deliver'.

2.  Watched a news reporter discuss riots in LA....since Wednesday morning. Apparently....before Wed....there were X-number of folks at five or six sites.  Since Wed (with Nat'l Guard/Marines deployed)....X-number has been cut in half.  No reason given....other than perhaps they don't want confrontation anymore.

3. This Democratic Party agenda.....'NO KINGS'....comes across as a 8th-grade type operation and doesn't  seem to attract anyone much (unless you pay them to gather).

To be honest, if you offered folks the opportunity to make Trump a 'king'....probably 20-percent of folks would say they'd be fine with it....if Barron (his son) follows on next.

4. Egyptian teenage kids are seen.....dragging off western activists (mostly from Canada and US)....who came to Egypt with the aid of breaking through the border to Gaza in order to deliver aid.

As they get dragged to buses....they are taken and hauled to the airport, and given the deport-order....where they have to purchase an immediate ticket to exit.

I think most had this agenda....seven days of hotel stays.....photo opportunities....fake protests.

Riot Observations

 1.  Someone commented off Twitter....ex=LA resident conversing with friend who still lives in LA.   The LA guy commented: '99.9 percent of LA folks are living like 'normal' and feel no worry about the riot business'.

2.  Suddenly....Hispanic folks have awaken and grasped that New Mexico/Arizona/California territory....was ONLY under Mexican rule for about 20 years, and prior to that (200 years)....it was owned/operated by Spain.

3.  The guy who bought/delivered those gas masks for the riot folks....was ID'ed and detained.  So what the fed LE want....who gave you the money.

4.  The Police Chief of LA had to explain what obstruction of justice means....to a city council lady.  She made a big scene and wanted him to obstruct, and he just wasn't that happy about the idea.

5.  I watched about 60 minutes of riot video from Thursday.....just curious....all centered in a 1-by-1 mile area.   If you asked me on numbers of riot folks....I'd have to guess no more than 2 or 3 groups....maybe 100 in each group....all gathered near ICE or federal structures.  It's not as massive as CNN often portrays it.

6.  Some activist groups are being identified, and it just appears....over the next ten days....some of their leadership will be dragged in for insurrection charges.

7.  Some folks are beginning to chat about 2030's census, and if you 'chase' 10-million illegals out of LA....the city will lose two districts/two House seats.  If you think things are stressed out now....just wait for the census to start up.

Five Things That Seem To Stand Out About the Riots

I've watched about 16-to-20 hours so far of the riots...mostly LA....maybe an hour of NY City.

1.  There just aren't any black engaged in the art of riots.  It's  about 50-percent Hispanic and 50-percent young whites (age 18 to 30).

2.  All this action in LA is in a 1 by 1 miles area.  If the FBI, ICE or Marines were to use modern surveillance....you could track the cellphones being used, and image 'players' with drones.

3.  Each time you tossed a brick, and it was noted on a camera....identifying you....that's a fed-charge....minimum of a year just for attempted assault.  I doubt that the 'players' realize this.

4.  By the end of summer....I would anticipate more than 3,000 'players' in some conviction deal....doing a minimum of one year in a fed-prison.

5.  The more that Mayor Bass appears on some interview....the less convincing I am of her capability to be a city leader.

Threat Chatter

I watched a podcast this AM....former Democrat strategist....Dr. Naomi Wolf...gave a assessment of the 'beginning' string of events...warning of a Bolshevik-style revolution in the US....with the LA riots simply stage one.

She thinks some financial collapse in the making, and around the 4th of July....there's likely to be some terror-event or mass casualty situation.

I paused over this and pondered.

Financial markets are in decent shape....with the worst sector being commercial property mortgages 'crapping-out'....meaning too many properties (like hotels, restaurants, malls, office-buildings).....half-empty or failing in terms of lease options left.  Lot of banks are handcuffed to these people....were giving excess time to find buyers.

As for revolution?  There was a ISIS-rumor from early 2025...suggesting in excess of 1,000 'agent' in the US, and staged for some future event.  BS-level of the story?  From one to ten....I'd give it a '5'....meaning some agents are probably here but the 1,000 number is a question-mark.

If you had fifteen events in one single day to occur?  That's the kind of trigger that I'd say it's mass terror and would trigger public reaction.  However....to suggest anyone beyond the current crew (Trump's picks)....would be ridiculous and I can't think of any Democratic senator or leader that I'd want in the driver's seat.

That the terror stuff and Antifa riot folks being tied together?  NO.  At the very top....there might be some ex-CIA folks who lead both groups....but I can't see how ISIS and Antifa would be teamed-up.

The last analysis?  I would suggest most Americans (probably near two-thirds of society)...aren't pro-riot, anti-ICE, or willing to support Antifa.  Buying into CNN's theme, or MSNBC's propaganda?  NO.

Last advice?  For the 4th....stay local in some small community and be skeptical of your safety.

Lawlessness Inflation

So you own x-storefront in a zone with  riots and lawlessness.  You pay taxes....you pay for property insurance....you expect 'protection' by the police and fire department.

So you get peaceful riot folks.....who scare off customers.  The riot folks also interfere with the delivery of goods. The riot folks damage  your windows and signs.  The riot folks also loot on occasion.

So your cost of business escalates....which you pass directly upon customers.

Your insurance cost?  That goes by by 100-percent....perhaps even 200-percent.

The police cars burnt out?  That cost burden goes onto your property tax.

The police officers wounded or medically retired because of PTSD?  That  cost burden goes onto your property or sales tax.

At some point, you evaluate the idea of leaving a metro-area for a more rural area....for less profit, but with less lawlessness inflation.

In the case of LA...the cherry on the cake?  Why would any tourist come and visit?  So your chances of getting a piece of the tourist dollars?  Pretty much zero.

That World Cup stuff, and Olympic guests business?  Forget that.

Different Landscape

I looked up the affected riot area  of LA....it's just 1 square mile.  Yep, that's it.

Total size of LA?  500 square miles for the core city itself.

Greater LA?  4,000 square miles.

If I were a riot guy?

Well...I'd be worried....the Marines might bring in their recon air assets, and monitor enough of the 1-sq mile.....to bring in secondary forces, and start taking possession of folks from the rear.  This isn't 1975....the 'boys' have toys.

Riot folks grasping any of this?  I serious doubt it.

1 sq mile just isn't that big of an area.

2028 Poster

This AM....someone put up the Kamala Harris for President poster for 2028.

I spent about 60 seconds looking at it, and I came to the conclusion....it looks like five guys....in some sexual situation from San Francisco.

I tried to be moderate on this, and think it was something else.  But each time...I circled back around....it was sexual in nature.

The chief problem here?  She likely paid some graphic artist....minimum of $10,000 to render this...and never once got the thought that it was sexual in nature.

LA Riot Video

I  probably watched about 75 minutes today of LA 'non-violent peaceful' protests.....mostly of police cars being damaged....break-in's of shops, and crowds engaged in urbanized 'peaceful' warfare.  This also included interviews with political folks, city leaders, etc.

So five observations.

1.  Each time I see the Mexican flag waved (probably in 40 shots today)....I get the impression of insurrection and revoluution....so if you were a US politician or city leader...trying to bring me to your 'side'....you need to do something over the Mexican flag business.

2.  It's only a matter of time before some violence is conducted against the LA police folks, and the mayor is stuck into a mess where they have take action.

3.  Curfew?  I'd lock down the affected area.....6 PM. Anyone out....grab them, and bring them to a curfew warehouse until 7 AM the next day.

4.  The ONLY people who ICE was committed to haul in (at least originally)...were the ones with police records and noted for bad behavior in the past.

5.  At some point.....local business operations will start to show weapons and suggest reactions.

You Aren't In A Civil War If.....

You aren't in a Civil War if....your post-man/woman still delivers.

You aren't in a Civil War if.....your McDonalds still offers the full menu.

You aren't in a Civil War if.....CNN tells you most protests are peaceful (even if it looks otherwise).

You aren't in a Civil War if.....Amazon still delivers to your house.

 You aren't in a Civil War if.....the View TV program doesn't feature a nation-X and nation-Y edition.

You aren't in a Civil War if.....the NFL season is running along like normal.

Three Observations

 1.  This idea suggested that at least twenty other urban 'zones' (Portland, Seattle, Houston, and Atlanta mentioned) will be 'civil-chaos' areas?  There's a story or two this AM suggesting a list floating around.

I pondered upon this.  The amount of manpower required?  You'd have to gauge the situation and suggest at least a thousand nutcases/revolutionary types....being able to show up and present 'muscle'.

In each case (well...except Seattle and Portland)....the local and state authorities would be supported by 1,000 to 2,000 National Guard troops.  In the Seattle/Portland scenario....I think the President would allow both to burn the cities as much as possible, and injure the local police enough to dismantle via injury-retirement the entire police force.  But for the remainder...if I do the numbers....there's likely to be 50,000 to 75,000 protest folks arrested by mid-July and each might be facing a minimum of five years in prison.

Manpower-wise....on the revolutionary scale....the crew will have burned through their manpower situation.

2.  Each time the CNN crew utter 'mostly peaceful' protests....Trump's crew will counter that the fed LE folks/National Guard....are also reacting in 'mostly peaceful' ways.

Ninety-five percent of Americans will get used to it, and always utter 'mostly-peaceful' whenever they speak on the topic....eventually infuriating Democrats.

3.  Around the 15th of June, the Mayor of LA will finally grasp that via sales tax reports....the revenue collection for LA in a typical June....will be about half the normal take.

Tourism numbers will also show a problem...with cancellations of hotel reservations at a all-time level.

This Week As Parents Get A Call From "Ricky' In California

Starting this week....I expect around 500 American folks to be detained by the federal authorities for violent behavior and accused of riot crimes.

Most will be shocked, and call 'mom' to ask for help to get out of jail.

Questions will be asked....how'd you get into jail....did you really throw bricks at the police....who were you associated with?

'Mom' will get dad involved, and then some lawyer, and bail-bondsman.

The shock of a million-dollar bond?  Yeah, that will come up rather quickly.

So the lawyer will talk to 'Ricky', the prosecution folks and come to realize that if they press on all charges and get a guilty situation....it could be a minimum of 10 years of prison for little 'Ricky'.

Eventually, a 'deal' will be made....'Ricky' lists the people who paid him (probably in the $8,000 a week range, and that there were some drugs involved....so he might have been drugged-up when he made these mistakes).  'Ricky' will do five years of prison...in a nice unit in some fed unit in Florida.

The thing is.....as days go by....the best deals are the ones done early on.....with the no-deals being the norm by August, and guys doing 12 to 15 years of fed-prison....in places like Nevada or New Mexico.

By the end of July....I figure at least 2,000 sets of parents to have the 'Ricky' conversation and find that all the best advice they gave....was tossed into the wind.

Quote Story

I saw this yesterday, and it's been on my mind.  Calvin was president from 1923, to March 1929.....leaving six months before Wall Street fell apart.

What most people don't grasp....from 1920 to the fall of 1929....the US was in constant financial turmoil...with speculation going rampant.

When he made this statement....he was mostly aiming at Congress trying to build regulations....to control speculation.

The chaos going beyond Wall Street?  Well....that's the odd part that we tend to miss today....there was massive property sales going on in California and Florida during his era, and guys at times were doubling their investment money in a matter of just a year.

$12,500 A Week To Professionally 'Riot'?

So, with your life....if a guy came up and offered you $12,500 to go out to LA, and professionally riot for some crew or operation?

Someone came up on Twitter and pointed out an advertisement....wanting dynamic and 'tough-people'....to take on protesting in LA.

They didn't say how long this deal might go for....I assume 4 weeks is minimum in this deal, and that there's no bail-out deal (if arrested).

They make it clear.....no quitters...no losers....no cowards.

Living conditions?  Unknown.  I would assume there's some chow-spread (probably burgers or pizza), and probably bottles of water handed out daily.

But $12,500 is at the high-end...where you can prove experience.  Minimum? $6,500.

I would imagine some guy is walking around as the  'cash-cow'....with a bag of $2k bundles....which he distributes every week to folks.  Where the cash came from?  Unknown.  It might be cartel folks.....maybe USAID....maybe even from Russia or Ukraine.

The question is....do you have the wit to hop on a bus....get to LA, and do four weeks of professional rioting...for $50,000 in the end?

Ten Things I Grasp

 1.  All these folks protesting in California....with the Mexican flag flying....none of them seem to really be in Mexico....but they seem stuck on their lifestyle still being Mexican in California.

Adding to this mystery stuff....probably half of the illegal Hispanics....aren't originally from Mexico (Venezuela, Peru, Honduras, etc).

2.  While a lot of the action going on in LA seems orchestrated and planned....they don't seem to have any concern about casting negativity toward potential tourists (coming to the region), or destroying local business interest.

3.  The more I see of Mayor Bass on TV....I seem to get the impression that her skill sets could be written on a 3 inch by 5 inch card, and she would NOT rise above manager of a gas-station.

4.  I've wasted around 12 minutes trying to watch CNN coverage of LA since Saturday AM.  They don't seem to to grasp anything much, and keep uttering 'safe' over and over.

5.  If I were a property owner from the burnt-out section of LA and considering staying....this riot stuff would be enough to convince me to leave.

6.  Why would the Olympic committee keep the situation with LA in 2028?  It's a 3rd-rate shit-hole.

7.  If the numbers are right....there are a minimum of 1-million illegals in greater LA.  If you do the math and figure ICE might be able to capture 500 a day to deport....you just need 2,000 days to wrap up the deportation in the local area.

If the number is closer to 1.5-million....then at 500 a day.....you'd need 3,000 days.

8.  The next four cities with a high portion of illegal Hispanics?

Houston, El Paso, San Antonio, and Phoenix.

I'd prepare for riots in those cities within the next ten days.

9.  In terms of Civil War status....if you can still order via Amazon, pick up pizza at Papa Johns, watch Hee Haw, and get lectured by CNN on fake news....it's a pretty faked-up Civil War.

10.  Finally....with all these fires being set in LA....you'd think environmentalists would be hot-and-bothered.

Rumor: LAX Shutting Down Monday?

I noticed a rumor noted....that the protest folks in LA...intend to shut down LAX at some point on Monday.

9  AM to Noon.

BS-level?  There's enough info to lead me to think some effort will be put into this.

Reaction?  This will draw massive FBI folks...probably to arrive by Tuesday night.

I would just speculate....things are going to another level by this upcoming weekend....with a minimum of 3,000 non-migrants...detained for 'something'.

Wouldn't surprise me if 20,000 Americans are arrested/held by the end of the summer for violence/insurrection.

Five Predictions Of Where Things Are Headed

1.  The Olympics are scheduled to be held in LA in mid-summer of 2028.

I'll go and predict that a Olympics committee meeting (emergency type) will be held in two weeks.  A representative group will be appointed to visit LA by the last week of June.  It'll be a make-or-break situation where the group tells Mayor Bass/Governor Newsom...they have ten days to rectify the situation and bring peace...or the Olympics will go to Paris.

A list of 20-odd 'planners' will be given to the LA police to apprehend.  The group will be hunted down and dragged to a max-security situation.

Either the violence halts....or the Olympics are lost.

2. Antifa arrests will be conducted by the FBI....by the end of June...with a minimum of one-hundred enthusiasts detained and charged under 18 U.S.C. § 2383 (insurrection), and several charges related to violence/damage/assault.

It's safe to say each will be offered a deal....confess, and provide your cellphone access willingly....you get eight-year sentences.  Go the no-deal route....minimum of 15 years in fed prison.

As people confess....another 200-odd Antifa members are picked up with evidence connecting them to the 'club'.

3.  By the end of June....more than 1,500 businesses will have been looted, burned-out, etc.

Insurance companies will react and triple business-structure costs....driving prices up in LA by 30-percent.  Majority of those affected....will cease their operation, take the insurance checks and leave the state.

4.  The effort to recall Mayor Bass (has to be filed by mid-July) will exceed the 330,000 minimum signature requirement.

While I believe the recall election will occur.....I believe a majority of voters will vote to KEEP her in office.  A month after the election....it will  be found that more than 150,000 of the KEEP-vote....were non-American....making the situation 'confusing'.

5.  Finally, a poll by mid-July of Orange County (LA's broadside, 3.1-million residents).....will find that 20-percent of the residents are fed-up with the theatrics and violence...wanting to re-locate.

By the end of 2025...almost 60,000 residents will have left the county and the state.

I Got This 1860ish State Of Mind In My Head

"The Democrat Party has transformed California into a modern day Confederacy and the Mexican Flag has become their 13 star battle flag to keep cheep labor."

-- Via Twitter, Free_States_of_America

I pondered over this comment today.  Via my military years and association at times with Californians....it is obvious that the state is bundled in some way...into one state, but geared to be five-to-six different states...some liberal....some conservative....some heavily-connected to Mexico.

There's no doubt that California surged ahead in the 1980s/1990s....with a lot of cheap (illegal) migrant workers in the mix.  A couple of years ago...I was reading a summary of a house-renovation project....where a guy needed around $100k of work done. Some of the work (like electrical) was pro-stuff....but the majority was illegals at work, and the guy saved in the range of $30k in the end.

Back in 2017....before Covid....Pew did a research project...saying in the LA area....there were around 1-million illegal migrants. This being before Biden....you have to figure from 2020 to 2024....probably 500k additional illegals ended up in LA (as a minimum).

So here's the odd factor at work....if ICE came in and simply arrested 10,000 of the 1.5-million....it'd likely shut down construction, and daily operations at restaurants, bars, grocery operations, and such.   I'm not even talking about the other 1.40-million.

The state, county and city all tied into the mess, and unable to unlock the handcuff?  Yeah....that is part of the gimmick.  You can task the LA mayor, and city council....they've made promises which they can't really untangle.

This threat by President Trump to withhold fed-funding (I assume of public safety money)?  Well...Governor Newsom said no....if you do that....we will withhold money that was taxed and supposed to pass onto IRS/the feds.

I pondered upon this issue.  You as the business....hand your taxed situation over to IRS...NOT the state guys.  So the bulk of taxed situations....Newsom can't touch or grab.

The money that Newsom can grab?  It has to go into banks...which come under fed regulations.  I'm pretty sure none of the banks will cooperate with Newsom and HOLD by California orders.

All of this sounding like 1860?

Well...lets examine the facts.  Following Lincoln’s victory in November 1860....seven Southern states (South Carolina, Mississippi, Florida, Alabama, Georgia, Louisiana, and Texas) seceded from the Union between December 1860 and February 1861.  They formed the Confederate States of America. South Carolina was the first to secede on December 20, 1860, citing fears that Lincoln’s administration would threaten slavery. The secession was driven by deep divisions over slavery, states’ rights, and economic differences between the industrial North and agrarian South.

So you view LA....building itself upon a massive 'state' over a 40-year period....with assumed (but not legal) rights, economical boom (based on cheap Mexican labor), and some projected economic 'gain'....which wouldn't exist....if you done it with legit labor.

In a rather simple way....California (LA in particular) has imaged itself as a pretender Confederate state....2025ish in style and design.

What happened to the leadership of the Confederate states in the end (after 1865)?  Well...at the least....they were replaced for several years by agents of the federal gov't.  Some went into court situations....with some years in jail.

I just look at the LA leadership, with Governor Newsom....wondering how far they really want to take things, and if the state can survive...in a Confederacy-like state of mind.

My final comment?  If you were a innocent business guy who played legit for the past 30-odd years in LA, and looked at the state of violence/destruction going on....with LA cops useless....why would you stay?

It feels like some 1996 film.... Escape from LA (directed by John Carpenter).....set in 2013.  The script follows the anti-hero Snake Plissken (Kurt Russell) as he’s coerced by the state authorities to retrieve a doomsday device from a dystopian Los Angeles, now an island prison for "undesirables" after a massive earthquake.

Presently....ICE needs a Snake Plissken to reset the undesirables situation in LA.

California 'Insurrection'

I probably watched about 75 minutes this AM of riot-crap out of LA.   So four observations:

1.  If you were a owner of a business....riot-damage/fire, and the insurance guy showed up on Monday....assessing it was a total loss of your quickie-mart, but the check won't come for 90-to-120 days....what's your future?

Stay in LA....leave LA?

I'd take the $400k check and leave.  Reason?  If you stay and rebuild....the insurance company rate....will at a minimum, double.

So I'm guessing here...out of the fifty-odd structures heavily damaged....most all will not fix anything and just leave by October (when the check comes).

2.  Cop gets off-duty at 7 AM....presents his heavily damaged car to the under-staffed mechanic crew for the station (30-percent manpower cut because of under-funding by the mayor)....with the back-window gone...some fire damage....enough for the mechanic to say he and his contract body-shop/paint-crew need a week and $10,000 to cover the repair.

Chief assesses 12 cars from his station, and entire city says near 50 cars requiring work.

Question is....does the mayor have $500,000 to cover just one night of riots?  Repeat nights over six weeks?  $10-million laying around?

No, and just admitting this....will be a problem for the public to accept reality.

3.  If you asked a non-California resident....what insurrection looks like?  This is it.  This is the crew that you need to send off for five years of fed-time in prison.

4.  Finally, whether the regular cops agree with Mayor Bass/Gov Newsom or not on ICE goals....they are now in some target zone and treated like ICE.

I don't see the pro-migration strategy lasting long with rank-and-file police.

I also question....if you were injured in this riot business (as a cop)....there's a high probability that you will claim injury status or PTSD....getting some early retirement/medical pension, and putting LA/state of California deeper into a financial crisis.  As bad as cash flow is now....it can only get worse.

Crystal Ball

Within the next ten days....I think that Trump's crew will find a position to deny fed funds to California law enforcement (both state/local), and cut the funding 'off'. Financial officers across the state will go into a panic because they don't have the funds to pay salaries.

Figure $70k for a starting-up policeman in LA.  A guy with 15 years?  He's probably making $90k a year.

In addition.....various issues at the same time will pop-up where city council/county commission folks are detained by the FBI, with charges thrown at them.  Some will use threatening language....getting them into a no-bail situation.

Reactionary judges trying to undo the situation?  They will find themselves disqualified.

By mid-summer?  It'll be as close to civil-war...since 1865...with more than 10,000 charged-up on a fed situation.

How long will state/local workers work....if the system is cash-flowed down to marginal numbers?  That's really the question to ask in July.

Working in fire season....into the mix?  I'll predict that insurance companies go into a massive reaction....terminating policies left-and-right.

None of this makes sense for stability....something that exists in 49 other states.

Humble Thoughts

 1.  I sat this AM and watched some liberal gal on Twitter complain that lawn maintenance costs are now about to skyrocket due to mass deportations of Mexicans.

To be honest....if you have a full acre....even the illegal 'Juan' is probably charging somewhere around $60.  If he doesn't exist?  Then yeah....that kid 'Timmy'...probably wants $80 for the full acre....maybe even $90.

The thing here....neither are reporting their income to IRS.  A smart 'Timmy'....might put in sixty hours a week, and take home $4,000 a month (assuming he works Saturdays too).

2.  Just viewing the BS going on in California....I'm guessing that 5,000 Homeland Security folks are about to descend down  upon LA, and mass-arrested 500-to-1,000 folks per day.....for vandalism and destruction.  Jail-time?  They might be shocked....to find themselves in a court in Vegas...NOT in their home-district, and facing five to seven years of fed-time.

3.  Some retired CIA officer says bank account records reportedly show Senator Lindsey Graham laundering money....from the Ukraine....into his personal bank accounts.   The term used in the 'talk'?  “Significant amounts of money.”

What that might mean? Well....if you said $1-million...to me, that's significant.  However....it might be $300-million.

If he did?  There's IRS/SC state tax issues.

The trouble here....if you open up a complete investigation....you might find fifty House/Senate members who got some 'bribe'.

4.  All this Trump/Elon talk?

I'll say this....once Elon's crew found all this wasted money....they expected the cuts to be permanently etched into stone, and Trump's crew weren't that enthusiastic in dealing with Speaker Johnson or the House (wonder why).

So Elon says.....he's up to create a 3rd party.

My interpretation? He needs to aim at 15 to 25 districts.....where there are mostly disgruntled voters (angry at both GOP and Dems).  He doesn't need a nat'l position....just 15 to 25 seats.

So you wrote a blood-contract....25 things have to be forgeable changed.  Some examples: (1) no draft laws/budgets more than 250 pages in form with the draft released by Thursday night, and voted upon on Monday; (2) amendment to force retirement upon any gov't official after 12 years (to include Judges); (3) Balanced budget amendment.

Then you set your crew up....to support nothing from either party unless your blood-oath items are in the mix (at least one or two).

Go watch an entire year go by....with zero accomplishments, and see how the Republicans and Democrats  feel.

5. Every time I watch Scott Jennings on CNN....which is now almost daily....I feel like he's the only adult in the room.....with mostly 9-year old children.

6.  This Trump threat to California....to cut off bulk-fed-finances to the state?  It'll be stopped by a judge...but the question is....will the Supreme Court agree that fed money is tied to the Executive Branch?

Without fed money....the state will fall  apart in roughly four to six weeks.

Five Observations

 1.  Former White House Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre says her new 'tell-all' book of the Biden period....comes out in the fall.

I just don't see anyone that interested...unless she admits that she personally saw Biden face-to-face no more than six times in the whole time.....with the morning chats mostly with Jill Biden.

2.  Some Florida high school gave a writing assignment entitled....have you ever thought of going gay?

Originally....I thought this was a joke...but yeah....that's the assignment handed out.  There were several other odd questions....one being: “What do you think caused your heterosexuality?”.

Just another reason I believe to end high school by age 15,  and get kids into occupational job training situations.

One almost gets the impression that high-school is mostly designed to dumb-down society.

3.  New study by the Center for Strategic and International Studies (came out early this week)....shows that Russia lost around 1 million men....with Ukraine losses near 400,000.

The odds that Zelensky or Putin know the actual numbers?  I seriously doubt it.

4.   Was the real purpose of selecting Kamala Harris in the summer of 2020 as VP....to have a person that people really don't want as President....so they would be agreeable to having a dimwitted Joe Biden being acceptable?

5.  If you wanted to screw up the 'game' that Republicans and Democrats play....start a 3rd party aimed at House districts ONLY,  and make an effort to take 15 districts/seats.

In so doing....you'd create a wave where neither Democrats or Republicans could accomplish a 'win' in legislation...unless they bent over to make the 3rd party happy.

Yeah, you'd endear two full years of zero accomplishments....teaching the two parties how to play a new and different game.

The $465 Story

I sat and read over the Air Force food allowance granted for 2025....monthly rate is now around $465.77 per month for enlisted members....meaning you get $15.50 a day now.

I pondered upon this....back-in-the-day....1990s...it was in the $180 range (per month).

Does the $465 really cover the food you might consume as a E-1/E-2?  Well....maybe if you were dining chow-hall, but if you ate out (off-base) at least once a day....NO.

Economic constraints?  I would imagine if I were in the Air Force today....as a 'newbie'....I'd be looking at cash-flow and shaking my head.  Just buying a marginally acceptable new car ($30k range)...would be an issue....assuming insurance costs of $2k minimum a year.

The only way it'd make sense?  You'd have to assign me to Turkey or some fairly cheap location....where the standard of living was less.
