Ten Things I Learned From The Air Force Chow Hall Over 22 Years

1.  If you walked in with low expectations....you were always happy.

2.  Yes, there were always random food poisoning events (1977 @  Sheppard AFB...they had to shutdown the chow-hall for a weekend and throw everything out).

3.  There's a rotating schedule of  x-dinners.....once you figured this out....you could mark off 12 evening dinners a month as 'crap'.

4.  Approximately 50-percent of the time....whatever pastry they had for breakfast....was probably 3 days stale/rock-hard.

5.  Chicken always came out of a freezer-bag and was crap.

6.  In the first five years of my military time.....for lunch, I either ate grilled ham/cheese sandwiches or hamburgers. It was the only thing they made in front of you....that you felt was not screwed-up.

7.  Mid-night chow was probably the best meal to attend...but around 1980...they made a rule you had to be on duty and in a uniform.

8.  I can't think any coffee worse, than chow-hall coffee.

9.  From my first ten years of using their 'service'....I got the  impression that none of the chow-hall cooks were skilled in anything other than opening cans and heating food.

10. The best chow-hall I ever used....was a the Incirlik-Turkey operation....appropriately named 'Satans-Inn'.  Most of the cooks were Turks and they were pretty liberal with herbs/spices.

Eight Random Thoughts

 1.  No matter how you view things....in the end, you are held accountable for the stupidity/nutty behavior of those under you.

2.  I'll just say it.....there are a infinite number of mental illnesses, and I suspect the number expands by 5-percent every full moon.

3. You can live beyond your means....until the day comes when you start counting pennies as a plus-up, or you can only drink cheap Pabst-Blue-Ribbon beer.

4.  If you go and read the text of this Minnesota transwoman shooter (now  dead)....oddly enough, he comes to blame two things for his ending (his mother, and cannabis).  I assume he used the high-thc content weed, while listening to his mother's advice.

5.  People who seem to be die-hard anti-capitalists....seem to believe we just haven't ever gone full-blown true-socialistic yet.

6.  Most people don't grasp....if you order a sub-sandwich.....the meat on it is the cheapest of the cheap lunch-meats that you can procure.

7.  I think if you really categorized things....more than 90-percent of Americans will be considered 'fringe' or 'unconventional'.....to the left and right.

8.  We are reaching a point where liberals and conservatives both seek out 'safe-spaces', yet....neither want the other within their safe-space.

How Ten Events Might Conclude?

 1. John Bolton.  As charges mount, and the prosecution starts talking 20 years and the crappy fed prison situation....Bolton will likely be offered some deal of 10 years of fed-prison (the nicer place), and admit guilt.  Tax troubles over hidden income?  That will come next and wipe out most all of his overseas income.

2.  CBS has a profits drain, and will likely go to some let-go deal of five of their big-ticket moderators.

3.  Cracker Barrel will quietly in early 2026....let the CEO exit, and undo most of the changes, but bump prices up by 20-percent....while trying to go back to original cooking (instead of frozen-food warming-up).  The new style of buildings?  My guess is that this will continue ahead.

4.  This burning of the flag  business.  Based on Trump's EO....if you do this in a public setting to incite people.....you end up in court and charged.  Grand Jury dilemma?  Well....the question is...are you doing this to get people riled-up/incited?  If so....your case goes to the next level.  I could see 3,000 for the remaining months of 2025....getting incitement charges and most convicted.

The odd thing....it ends up as a felony conviction, and the 'boys' in prison will be asking you how you got there.  Burning a flag....will you back for the remainder of your life....as a felony conviction.

5.  Decline of Vegas?

By the end of 2026....a minimum of 20k city residents will have exited the city, with properties rapidly dropping 10-to-20 percent in value.

6.   Some report by the end of 2025 will indicate that over 3-million homes are in a section-8 situation and  the resident is NOT an American citizen.

7.  Some Wal-Marts in 2026 will have a $5 off your purchase deal....if you allow them to examine the cart before exiting....to cut back on shop-lifting.

8.  Mental-health specialists in 2026 will start to treat obsessive people who are anti-capitalists.

9.  Crisis-actors and fake-protest-actors....will start to be dragged into court because they failed to report their 'extra-income'....amounting to more than $20k a year  for full-time actors.

10.  Finally,  a majority of people (80-percent or more) will start to admit whenever Governor Newsom come on  TV....they mute the set within 5 seconds.

My Theory On Manifesto-Intellectuals

After reviewing a fair bit on the shooting in Minneapolis this past week, with the transwoman....I'll offer my belief on these people who seem to think they are manifesto-intellectuals, and needing to write of the great wrongs in society, life and the 'demons' they need to defeat.

Most people go through their entire life....never writing a manifesto.   No one collects such data....if you asked me......less than five people per 10,000 get into this habit.  Most went to some college environment, or had a higher-than-average IQ.

Once you finished writing your manifesto...whether three pages, or sixty pages....it's  rarely ever read by anyone, unless of course you go out in some blaze of glory, and then 3-million folks will read your manifesto.

I've probably read a total of seven manifestos over my entire life.   It's not really science stuff....collected data....or even factual.  I'd lean more toward it being perceived things.

Adolf Hitler’s Mein Kampf (published in 1925) a manifesto?  Yes.  Awful wordy, and mostly a statement of perceived things (things to blame).

The Communist Manifesto (1848) by Karl Marx and Friedrich Engels, a manifesto? Yes.  It fits for early 1800s civilization....not modern society.

Common Sense (1776) by Thomas Paine, a manifesto?  Absolutely.

Always written by someone mentally ill?  No....you can't make that case.

Most always...the guy writing this...reaches some level where he wants you see things his way, and fix the wrongs.

The one odd factor I've noted?  Well....it's roughly 99-percent of guys who write manifesto crap.  I have no idea why women avoid this....maybe they got better things  to do. Maybe they've already fixed most of the wrongs in society.

The Next Three Companies To Be Destroyed

After thinking over it and pondering.....these are my next three picks to be in the Cracker-Barrel situation:

1.  Walgreens.  Combination of factors.....online competition hurting them.  One dismal CEO away from total destruction.

2.  AMC theaters.  Massive debt....people not hyped-up to see movies....streaming services are getting more attention.

3. Spirit Airlines.  They are evolving into an airline that survives (marginally) from bankruptcy one....faltering into bankruptcy two, and so  on. They might linger around for ten years but never getting out of the mess.

Ten Random Thoughts

 1.  There is no such thing of infinite tolerance. There's X-amount, and then it's zero.

2.  Audacity is a noun....meaning boldness or daring....mixed to a fair degree with a sense of disregard for conventional norms, rules, or consequences.  It used to be maybe once a day....you'd see an example (either positive or negative).  Today?  I see forty examples a day.

3.  A guy in the 1980s...had a small toolbag with 16 screwdrivers, wrenches, or tools....for normal house maintenance.  Today, it's tool-case, which probably holds 75 different tools.

4.  Governor Newsom has all of the hand-signal talents....required to be a professional 3rd base coach for the Dodgers.

5. The threat of consequences....ought to make you do a fair amount of planning, pondering, and wise-decision-making.

6.  I'm actually against conceal-and-carry (weapons). I think everyone ought to have a holster on their belt/shoulder, and have a minimum of six rounds to fire.

7.   The problem we have with Cracker Barrel and Bud Light....the board ends up hiring CEOs who really aren't consumers of their product.  It'd be like a vegan being hired to sell your sausage or bacon products.

8. It used to be...when someone said 'so-and-so' fled.....they meant they fled a civil war, tidal wave, or volcanic eruption.  These days....when they say 'so-and-so' fled....they mean cops were coming to ask questions.

9.  If you told  100 people today....to drive from the east coast to the west coast....without a GPS in the car....to only use a regular paper-map...most all would refuse.

10.  If you lack incentive to move up or progress....you don't have a job that will last more than 12 months.  Flipping burgers is not a life-long passion....trust me.

On The Topic Of 'Crazy'

From my college years....I took one simple class of psychology (101), with some retired mental health director/professor who'd spent the 1950s/1960s/1970s....running a couple of different clinics in Washington and Oregon.

Most of these evenings....he'd give 20-odd stories of whacked-out people, and I usually left class by 9:30....in some daze...wondering  just how many nut-cases really exist in the world.  I'd be at midnight....thinking over things. It was the wrong evening class to take.

For the sake of eyeballing mental illnesses are typically categorized based on the DSM-5, which has 20 major categories of 'problems':

Neurodevelopmental Disorders (e.g., autism, ADHD)

Schizophrenia Spectrum and Other Psychotic Disorders

Bipolar and Related Disorders

Depressive Disorders

Anxiety Disorders

Obsessive-Compulsive and Related Disorders

Trauma- and Stressor-Related Disorders (e.g., PTSD)

Dissociative Disorders

Somatic Symptom and Related Disorders

Feeding and Eating Disorders (e.g., anorexia, bulimia)

Elimination Disorders

Sleep-Wake Disorders

Sexual Dysfunctions

Gender Dysphoria

Disruptive, Impulse-Control, and Conduct Disorders

Substance-Related and Addictive Disorders

Neurocognitive Disorders (e.g., dementia)

Personality Disorders

Paraphilic Disorders

Other Mental Disorders (catch-all for conditions not fitting elsewhere)

Over the past thirty years....I've of the mind that we need to force everyone through some mental-health class by age 15, and double-up by age 18 (in college).

Four Things

 1.  After a while....you start to understand that Donald Trump is merely selecting  issues that a 60-to-40 mix of people support.  Once the Democrats hear the issue....they immediately go anti-Trump. I call it the Wylie Coyote-Roadrunner Complex....they can't win.

2.  I've probably wasted two hours of reviewing this transexual shooting episode in Minnesota.  Total nutcase....with his parents supporting his stupid behavior for several years.  At some point....he even says (in writing)...he wished he'd never been  brain-washed.

3.  31/Atlas, the weird space 'rock'  approaching us, and there's thousands of theories that I've read  over the past month.

The weirdest?  I noted yesterday...someone wrote up the idea that it's a alien vehicle....heading close to Mars....to terraform Mars (to drop something that would make it livable there).  Pretty nifty idea...but who sent the 'rock'?

4. “I can tape a stick on a horse’s head, but that doesn’t make it a unicorn.” Trump's quote on trans-people.

How To Destroy A Restaurant

In the 1990s on Ramstein Air Base....there was a popular base-run Italian restaurant.  For lunch, they offered a buffet deal....around $7.99....all-you-could-eat spaghetti/pizza, with ice tea.

At the end of the 1990s...it went up to $9, and it still maintained popularity.  I would  take a guess between 11 AM and 1 PM.....they averaged around 350 to 400 guests.

Around 2003, the base-level management folks were freaking out that it was not churning out the profit it'd made in the 1990s. They had already bumped the lunch price up to around $10.50.

The manager up-and-left.

The new guy dumped the recipe for everything....went to cheap ingredients....keeping the price near $10.

Almost immediately, people grumbled.  The daily number of folks?  It dropped to 150 within six weeks.

The new manager?  He left about four months into this episode.

The next manager continued the trend, and the daily count fell to around 75-to-100.

At this point, I quit using the place.

What should have happened? They should have gone to $15 a meal....but that probably would have freaked folks out to  some degree.

This Lucy Connolly Story From The UK, And Where Things Might Land

Lucy Connolly was a Brit 42-year-old former childcare person from Northampton, UK, who was jailed for 31 months in October 2024 after pleading guilty to inciting racial hatred.

How the incitement occurred?  Well....on 29 July 2024, three girls were murdered in Southport by a young juvenile lad.  Later....she posted a tweet calling for "mass deportation" and urging people to "set fire" to hotels housing asylum seekers, amid false rumors the attacker was an immigrant.

The post, viewed 310,000 times, was deleted within hours, but she was arrested on August 6.

The prosecution made a 'deal'....which she would admit guilt, and accept X-sentence.  Well....the judge decided there was no deal and gave out the most harsh sentence possible....to  set an example.

So she served about 40-percent of the sentence.  Back in July....President Trump took up interest, and this messy situation had to be corrected....so she was released from HMP Peterborough in August 2025 after serving 40-percent of her sentence.

Where things might now lead?  She probably can sue 'someone', but I would imagine there's bitter feelings, and politically....this is the kind of thing you can't really clean up.  Lot of Brits now feel like they need a 'freedom-of-speech'.

In the present landscape....there's also financial folks talking of a massive financial  collapse coming....toward the end of 2025 in the UK. They don't have a level of income....to cover the massive present and future budget.  Some folks believe a massive taxation package would have to come....on the backs of the wealthy and companies....instead of cutting the budget.

At the very least...a new national election in 2026....is pretty likely.

With Trump around....he might go and utter that maybe it's time to bring a 1776 revolution to the UK....incorporating them into the US.  It wouldn't be serious but he's  said such commentary for Canada to be a US state....so it wouldn't be wild to think the UK itself could be made a US state.

Might be something to watch unfold over the next 12 months.

This Odd Bolton Necessity To Use Classified Material For His 'Product'

Customer X comes to John Bolton and say they need an assessment.  I'm guessing Bolton interprets this.....thinking some 50-odd page report will make them happy.

So in my scenario, he turns to get classified material (pages and pages) of mostly CIA crap, and DIA crap.  This is analytical reports written by GS-11/12 CIA guys who have a degree in X-matters, and were told by their boss to analyze stuff, and produce a 2-page report on 'something'.  The DIA reports?  Mostly stuff written by military teams (Navy, AF, Army).....with two or three enlisted guys summing up something an a Lt or Capt wrapping up the wording.

The odds of these reports being BS, or marginally of value?  Well....that's really a hidden problem which is often discussed.  You might go and read ten reports over a afternoon....finding that at least three of them are crap and not worth briefing your commander.  Some days....fifty percent of the reports you might read....are BS.

Bolton in this situation....probably has  more than a dozen of such reports....then cutting and pasting to his legal pad.....assembles some assessment....taking 10-percent of his report from some crappy CIA assessment, and 50-percent from some other secret agency with useless statistical data.

In the end, Bolton then sends his final product to X-customer.  If you read his entire summary....it might not make sense because it's words from several different reports, and Bolton assumes it's non-crap (when in fact, it is crap).

X-customer believing in Bolton's assessment?  That's the odd thing.   You might ask the guy/gal, and they remark that it's lot of BS sprinkled around general facts.  Then you ask....was it worth X-amount, and they laugh....saying 'no'.

Here's the thing....there's probably 300-odd former government employees who have some clearance still open, and to pump up their retirement situation....once or twice a year.....they take classified knowledge or reports...selling their assessment to some non-US group/person.

By Trump's folks opening up this situation....there is some worry (I would suggest) that they will branch out and start to raid other folks.

The only thing to correct such behavior?  Raid, prosecute, and assess five to ten years of prison.....over and over.

What'll Happen To Bolton?

Well....the script is reading this way.  Around five years ago....John Bolton was in Qatar, and appears like he was doing assessment work for 'someone'.  Maybe it's an industry....maybe it's a country.

To write the assessment....the suggestion is that he took US classified material (Secret, TS) and assembled some package.  For this....he was paid 'something'.

Then the speculation starts  up....if he did this more than once, and for more than one customer.

The raid?   They will assemble his notes and determine if he held classified.  The list of customers will follow.  Then the question of hidden funds will come up. If I were speculating (2020 time-period)....he probably got paid in BitCoin (then valued at 1 BC to $11,000).

The least of issues?  Maybe he wrote a clear and unclassified assessment....then was paid some small sum of Bitcoins. Other than tax issues....there's not much to worry about.

If he had Secret/TS material, worked for several clients, and made $40-odd million which was hidden 'gain'?  He's got a serious problem, and jail for 20 years is probably the eventual outcome.

Japanese Chatter

For those who didn't know....Japan is one of those countries who are firmly against migration INTO Japan.  It's also on a massive decline in population, and even more so in rural areas.

So this came up in a meeting this week....they are going to create a special  Africa migration program....which has stringent rules.

There will be four zones....“hometowns”....for migrants from Nigeria, Tanzania, Ghana, and Mozambique. The Nigerians will be settled in Kisarazu.  The Tanzanians in Nagai.  The Ghanaians in Sanjo.  The Mozambicans in Imabari.

When you apply....there's two things you agree to....first, staying in the hometown area that your visa says, and working there in the rural area (mostly farming).

The Japanese aren't saying the time required....but I  would imagine a 10-year minimum, and a harsh integration schedule (learning the customs/language).

How many will sign up?  Unknown.

If  you fail?  I would imagine there's some quick deportation deal in the details.

Just Three Odd Things

First, since the 2024 election....I've seen this continual comment by Democrats in the US....that they want to seek their version of (1) Trump, (2) Joe Rogan, (3) Stephen Miller, (4) Tucker Carlson, (5) Dinesh D’Souza, (6) Greg Gutfeld, and so on.

So far, this search has not found such people. It may be a mythical creature search...like looking for Loch Nessie, a dragon, bigfoot, a banshee, or a Kraken.  Such liberal things...may not exist.

Second, I've spent an hour or two this past month trying to understand why private-equity should go out and buy tens of thousands of homes....to be a private home owner.

Other than thinking homes are at some magnificent LOW point at prices, and that they can control/manipulate loans for private people to buy such property.....there is no rhyme/reason for them to engage in home-buying.

It defies logic....from a point of investing money, and making money.

Third, as this audit goes out against the 55-million visa holders....I started to review the various ways that you might fail.

If you were hired and given a visa for X-company, and you were working a 2nd job (unrelated company)....you could be deported.

If you were engaged in any kind of criminal behavior....you could be deported.

Not informing U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) of significant changes, such as a change in job duties or employer, can violate visa terms and lead to revocation/deportation.

Dropping below the normal college student  course load....could lead to deportation.

I have this odd feeling....out of the 55-million...I suspect that more than 10-million have a serious problem and this will lead to people working presently....to be deported....meaning x-number of companies are in some spiral because they have empty slots and presently no one to fill the job.

I also think a portion of the 55-million...are listed as voters, and in some fraudulent way....over the past 20 years....voted.  That alone, will be enough to deport the folks.

Nine Observations

 1.  Bad leaders destroy companies, and organizations....sometimes, without much effort.

2.  This DC-National Guard thing.

Based on appearances, the Guard will be shut-down by end of September....with phase 2 in DC likely to be 300 fed-LE folks continuing evening and weekend patrol for the foreseeable future.

This chatter of Chicago next?  I would imagine the mayor is fretting heavily over this, and the the Guard will be carrying weapons...prepared to fire back.

But here's the funny thing....black folks in DC are watching this and mentally....saying Trump is right...you can stop the killing and crime.  Chicago black folks....will say the same thing.

3.  This whole John Bolton-thing....is mostly about a guy who had a poor  sense about security and classifications....who wrote a lot of notes on yellow legal pads....never classifying the data as he wrote it.

So if they can establish a hundred of such citations.....of secret or above info....he's easily doing two-plus years of prison time.

4.  55-million visa-holders in the US will be audited.  There are a dozen possible ways that they will be put on a deport-list.  My belief?  At least 10 million will have problems and be forced to plan a quick and hasty exit.

My chief question out of this review?  How many of the 55-million were registered to vote?  I just have this bad feeling....more than 100,000 were voting somewhere.

5.  The most responsibility that I could assign Governor Newsom of California....is shift supervisor of a 7-11 store. Beyond that....he'd have to be supervised by someone.

6. If you review all of the 1980s...finding the top 100 articles of 'DOOM'....comparing to reality in the years afterward....about 90-percent of the DOOM-crap wasn't really much on the scale of 'doom'.

7.  If you spent $120k to graduate from some college, and are marginally making just over $50k (before taxes)....the degree is probably worthless.

8.  I can stand about 10 seconds of a melt-down on CNN....before I mute it for 10 minutes.

9.  When I'm presented a situation where I'm told one plus one can only be three...I react by considering the person in front of me....mentally defective. Lately, it seems like one out of eight folks I encounter are this way.

Crackle Barrel Chatter

Crackle Barrel has been in the news a good bit over the past two weeks.  I'll try to sum up the spiral with four observations:

1.  Late 2023....C-B's board hired a new CEO (Masino).  What you can say....she has 20 years of food brand work, and was qualified for the job.  What she decided was the right business direction (after Covid) was re-branding the operation (currently 600-plus restaurants.

2.  What few grasped...was from early 2020 to late 2023....they (C-B) were inflicted with Covid-numbers....meaning a weird business spiral.  So one might question the need to re-brand.

3.  Then you come to inflation.  That breakfast platter in 2019 that was $9.99 (without  coffee) went up a buck  or two,  or three).  That dinner plate  in 2019 that was $15.99.....today might be $21.

4.  Finally, people are pretty tight on money right now.  So back in 2018, you might have eaten out five times a week, between breakfast and dinner....today, you probably eat out just twice a week.

What'll happen here?  By spring of 2026...I expect the CEO to be let-go, and a new person brought in.....to 'un-brand' the organization, and go back to the old style.

Three Things

 1.  All this upsurge in AOC, Newsom and Mamdani chatter for the Democratic Party?

Look...in 8 to 12 states.....it might sell well.  But in 35-plus states....this is not something that Democratic-lite or independents can support.

2.  Just my belief, but some fed-order is coming shortly to render all non-Americans holding a US-CDL (trucker license) as invalid until they prove they can speak/read English.  My humble guess....50,000 licenses at risk, and there's going to be 'hell' for about 6 months until this is resolved.

3.  I sat and watched this AM a video....a passenger who got to the Orlando Airport gate TOO LATE....missing the flight, and she goes nuts.

Child-like?  Yeah....behavior of a 8-year old kid.

Monday, 18 August 2025

Two Things

1.  I  noticed a new word in the English language..... "delulu,"

It comes from the word delusional, or delusional. The Cambridge Dictionary says the term means "believing in things that are not real or true, usually because of one's own choice."

So it's a gal (or guy) who knows something is fake, bogus, or a made-up story.....but likes it so much....that they overlook the lack of reality.

2.  Just odd....all these rallies I've seen the past six months....the anti-Trump rallies. It seems like 50-plus percent of the attendees....are age 60 and above.

Like a 'old-farts' movement.

Status Chatter

There's a podcast I watch several times a week....which deals with US economics, finance, real estate and money-issues.

So this AM...the guy brought up this poll (2,000 people), and how 45-percent of folks now state....for whatever status they 'had'....they can no longer cover the cost of that status.

Meaning?  If this were a couple making $120,000 in combined income, with x-amount of vacation....two new cars (with payments)....and 'comforts', then they've reached a point where something has to go or be dropped.  Maybe it's the premium cable package....maybe instead of the $4k vacation to Aruba gone, you end up in Reno for a weekend....maybe it's one of the new $78k cars has to be sold (with a 8-year old Honda to fill the void).

It means of the 25-odd people that you know from work, from the church, or the neighborhood....there's ten of them in dire straits.

My question....back around 2000 (for the past 25 years)....were they continually on some track of spending excessively?  With each pay-raise....they bumped their status up a notch?

Then I start to wonder....how much of a status-fall has to occur?  Would this start to get on people's nerves?

How The Trump 'Lead' Should Go

As Trump sits down with Putin....he ought to center on four central topics:

1. What's the current demographics situation of Russia, and this Russia-ethnic area of Ukraine?  It's dismal.  Within the past month...Russia classified all demographics data....you can't talk about it....without facing charges.

2.  What's the financial situation for Russia currently?  It's crap and like some third-world country.  Banks are pretty close to failure, and most Russias...if given a chance to exit....will leave.

3.  Where is the bold plan of fixing this three Ukrainian states that Russia is all intent on 'taking'?  Crap plan?  Non-existent?  Are you taking an area to convert into some Russian ghetto in five years?

4.  Finally, if you take the three districts....do you (Putin) really think NATO will sit idlily by and not massively bulk-up for the next confrontation?

Putin will sit there and silently agree....there is no advantage to taking the three districts, and that he needs a massive recovery in terms of the economy.

Trump will lay down twenty-odd recovery projects....that the US and  Russia could engage upon.

Maybe by the end....the war just ends....no lines changed on the map.  Maybe.

My Advice On Handling A Highly Irrational Individual (5 Steps)

 1.  Ask yourself....do you really need to be there?  If you can find an exit, or just avoid the irrational person....take this step first.

2.  If you stay?  Go to de-escalation first.  Keep your tone neutral, maintain steady body language, and avoid taking their behavior personally.

3.  Logic versus counter-logic?  If they are giving some opening to TALK....offer some logical points to dissolve the irrational point.

4.  LISTEN, before getting full-up engaged.  Maybe around the ten stupid things they said....there's one single fact that matters.

5.  If irrational to the point of violence....put some space between you two....but prepare yourself to beat the crap out of the person (even if a lady).  Keep it in your mind....it's nothing personal, and most folks after a good threshing....will have a fear of being irrational around you a 2nd time.

Climate Chatter

 I watched a piece this AM.....Kamala Harris’s step-daughter....saying she’s really struggling now because she’s experiencing “climate anxiety.”

She didn't go into great detail....but it seemed like this is on her mind....all the  time now.

The non-worriers?  Well....you just observe someone  like this and wonder....how will they survive in the future....with this phobia continually on their mind?

Any storm front approaching....worry about climate change.

Any 95-degree temperature?  Worry about climate change.

Any snow-storm?  Worry about climate change.

Tornado warning?  Worry about climate change.

At some point around 2040....I would  suggest that 20-percent of society will be drugged-up...in order to survive the climate change phobia.

All This Governor Newsom Talk Of Redesigning Districts To Be 100-percent Democrat Wins?

There is this odd reality going on in California, if you think about it.

Newsom says the redesign will convert all districts to be Democratic-only 'wins'.

I would challenge this....there's been an effort to clear voting registrations.....getting dead people and illegals off.

Of the present 52 districts....nine are Republican-win and 43 are Democrat-win situation.

So....after the new map is published and challenged (forget about results coming in 2026 mid-terms)....it'd be 2028 before the real results occur.

I'm of the mind, with folks cleared off, and a new design.....Newsom might not even be able to clear 43 districts.  Yeah, I'm suggesting Republicans might clear 12 to 14 districts.

A bad situation for Newsom and who comes after him?  Yeah.

It means lawsuit after lawsuit, and the Supreme Court likely drawn into a dozen gerrymandering fights.

Vagrancy Laws: 1930s and Today?

Most of the vagrancy laws created in the 1930s.....targeted individuals perceived as "out of place" socially.....economically....or geographically. They criminalized statuses or behaviors such as being poor, unemployed, homeless, or loitering without apparent lawful purpose.

So it became a offense....to beg, wandering around without visible means of support, or being deemed "idle".  Yeah...it meant police could interpret things in a broad way.

Coming out of thin air?  Most historians suggest that there were some type of vagrancy laws....even going back to the 1600s...in early colonial America...depending upon  where you were.

So you come to  the 1930s, and this surge in transient populations (the "Okies" and "Arkies" fleeing the Dust Bowl).  No matter where they went....they overwhelmed local resources and heightened fears of crime and disorder.  So the vagrancy laws got even more strict.

In some ways...as President Trump talks about cleaning up DC....he's simply creating the vagrancy path of the 1930s again, and giving people a choice....get cleaned up and working.....take rehab in a facility.....or leave entirely.

The odd thing?  Well....the Democrats appear to  be anti-vagrancy and pro-hobo.  Trying to sell this to the general public?  It just doesn't appeal to most folks.

What'll Happen.....?

 1.  Senator Schiff.

Well.....there will be two confrontations (if you haven't figured it out yet).

First, this mortgage 'crime' will be dragged out in a grand jury, and it'll be apparent that he used fraud to get a better deal on the Maryland house....claiming to be a Maryland resident, while maintaining he's a California resident.  If he were smart....he'd admit it....settle on a fix-it agreement, and pay a fine.  If he drags this out....sooner or later, someone will ask WHO ELSE in the Senate/House did the same thing, and fifty-odd people will be pointed out.

Second, all this stuff he did with J6 and releasing intelligence information on Trump?  Federal crime situation. Another raid....another grand jury, and timed to hurt most of the 2028 election period for the Democratic Party.  On this....he might actually go to jail for 6 months.

2.  The UFO/alien business.

There's likely to be a point-of-no-return to occur in a year or two.....where the facts add up, and there's 'something'....meaning a visit, a crashed craft, or some massive hidden program by the US authorities.

The problem is....after you get hit with a massive dose of reality...after a week, you will settle back, and just worry about normal stuff.  You know....NCAA football, price of eggs, Governor Newsom dimwit chatter, and CNN falling further in a spiral.

3.  LGTBQ.

I see this opening to occur....probably in 2028....where about half of gay guys just stand up and denounce the association....admitting they are not benefiting in any sort of way.  The L's might swing the same way, then some idiot will proclaim a LG-only association, and saying LG-Lite-and-TBQ are on their own.

4.  Triggering as a national crisis

Triggering normally means provoking an emotional or heated response, often intentionally....meaning you want folks angry

A majority of Americans will admit that they are now prone to be triggered, and some national crisis will follow....where we all need triggering rehab.

5.  John Brennan in Austria

Well...rumor has it that Brennan has left the US...hiding out in Austria, and won't agree to a grand jury situation.

Trump has the authority to freeze/hold all his financial assets....making life  in Austria awful hard.  I would imagine  Austria doesn't want the guy to stick around, and I'd be asking more questions.

Predictions (My Crystal Ball)

First, before spring of 2026, at least five US metro-cities will have Nat'l Guard folks assigned and patrolling (probably a 90 to 120 day deployment situation).  Federal prosecutors will be doing daily charges....via the fed-court system, and bond will be substantial to cover if detained for any assault or physical violence.  Vast majority of public support....going against Democratic Mayors/Governors.  By mid-summer 2026, realization will occur that they picked the wrong side and their stupidity has lost votes for the mid-term election.

2.  Some foundation will go and test 18-year old school kids graduating....determining that more than one-third of them should not be any further along than the 8th grade of school, and that half of them are entering some first year of college (oddly enough).

3.  After the Putin-Trump peace deal is done....with 3 districts of Ukraine 'given' to Russia.....two years will pass and reporters will find fewer than 20-percent of original population (2020 levels) reside in the three districts, and that most of the Russian-ethnic class....refuse to live in what they see as a ghetto-like situation....either leaving for Russia itself, or for Ukraine.

What Happens In DC AFTER The Nat'l Guard Arrives?

I pondered over this, and would offer six observations:

1. Once Trump's 'crew' of Nat'l Guard arrives to 'check' on crime in DC, and interact with the Capital Police....I expect the Capital Police chief to attempt to be the 'authority' over the situation,  and within a week....be on suspended status by order of the President.

2.  I expect a financial review of police funds, and DC funds to occur shortly....identifying a minimum of $20-M a year in some money-pit, and no way to explain the situation.  I also expect them to find a number of Capital Police  on  long-term rehab situations (more than a year), and worthless while occupying a billet.

3.  DC judges will be found 'lacking', and mostly just working for juvenile 'gangs'.  The suggestion will come up that either they are blackmailed, or getting some under-the-table bribes.  A change in policy will result in policy will introduce fed-judges to handle the juveniles (probably by December).

4.  By October....curfew for under-18 will be established.

5.  Democrats in DC will find by survey results....more than 80-percent of the city residents approve of what Trump is doing.

6.  Finally, this period will end in 6 months....proclaimed a success, and 1,500 new federal police will be added.....with a federal appointee established to run the police in DC.....leaving the mayor and city council out of control.

How I Got Debanked

It's an amusing story, and I'd rather call it  deinstitutionalized.

For a number of years, I was a member  of stock 'unit' (to buy/sell stock).  It's a big-name unit and I'd rather not say their name.  I'd probably been a member for at least seven years.

One day....as I tried to log in.....it refused to allow me access.  I called the support line. They couldn't figure out why (almost 90 minutes were wasted on this).  I eventually got led to a IT guy, who discovered about 30 seconds into the call....I was on a non-American list (I worked in Germany, for the Air Force, and had a APO-box).

The IT guy read off the note....there had been some kind of rule handed down (fed  level), that if you met  x-conditions.....even as an American, you were going to be treated as a non-American.  So I was given limited access...told to sell off my stock, and 'leave'.

I spent several hours reviewing options and found a Texas bank dealing with banking and stock.  It took 15 minutes to open an account, and I transferred my situation to them. No problem.

It's been around 12 years since then....I hardly think about  it.  But oddly....once a year, from this institution (the non-American group).....I get an email about my status.  Yeah, I'm still listed there.....still an open account....with around 16-cents left in the account.  For some reason, they goofed-up and left the account open.

How many folks got screwed this way?  I would imagine out of Germany....probably over 100.  If you were in the military.....you had status.  If you were a civilian  working for the military....you didn't have status (from what I could figure).

Big Balls Story

About ten days ago....in DC....'Big Ballz' (the DOGE associate of Elon Musk) came to the rescue off a gal who was being roughed-up/robbed.

The basic story?  Edward Coristine (aka "Big Balls,") came under assault at the Logan Circle area....near Swann Street and 14th Street Northwest, during an attempted carjacking around 3 a.m. on Sunday, August 3rd.  I'll just say from the pictures of the guy after the attack....he was  roughed-up pretty good.

As for location?  If you leave Layfette Park (next to the White House)....straight walk of 10 minutes....you reach Logan Circle.  On my 'safe-index'....between Logan Circle and Dupont Circle (about 700 ft away to the West)....I'd give the neighborhood a '8' for day-time walking.  However, if you were discussing partying (as the young lady was) to  3AM?  NO, on my safe-index....it's a '3' at best.

I'd also tell you after 10 PM....generally avoid walking, traveling, or riding the subway.

Faked-up?  No.  Around 2010, when I was in Arlington, you could probably count  on twenty cars hijacked in DC,  Montgomery County (Maryland) and Prince Georges County (Maryland) on a weekend.  It's usually 2 to 4 young males....ages 14 to 18.  Even if they are busted (unlikely)....the judge will put them on some program....release, and within a month or two....back to juvenile bad-boy behavior.

Giving B-B a status?  Yeah, in a dozen years....I suspect he'll run for office somewhere and this is listed on his sheet as a remainder of how far he might go.

But this also got Trump's attention, and I would imagine it's a added weight to taking the capital  back to federal status.....possibly even splitting off  two chunks of the district to give back to Maryland.

As for partying in a unsafe area?  It's up to you, but I'd generally say if you are in DC, NYC, Miami, Atlanta, LA, or Portland at 3AM....you probably earned the robbery or assault.  We aren't living in the 1970s/1980s any longer.

Another Trump Priority

I saw this today.  It's been on my mind.  I lived in Arlington, VA across from DC, Jan 2010 to July 2013.  My six points:

First, it's an odd factor.....there's homelessness in DC, and across the area in Maryland.  But in Fairfax, Arlington and Alexandra (all Virginia)....it's awful hard to find homelessness.

At the bus-stop one day....two former homeless folks (residents of Arlington) told me the basic story.....cops in Virginia will treat you as 'problems' and give you a choice.....you get treatment, or leave the city.  Both ended in alcohol rehab, and in controlled dorms.

Second, DC homeless population?  It's generally figured in the 4,100 to 4,500 range.

Third, you can divide the group into five categories: (1) druggies, (2) paranoid shizophrenic folks, (3) severe alcoholism (to the level that they burned out most brain cells), (4) individuals with no income skills to handle housing, and (5) military folks with PTSD and no real help from the VA.

Fourth, you could pick up 100 folks a day, and put them through a line....establishing forced rehab/treatment, or a compound situation for the remainder of your life.  I'd be blunt...staying on the street is no longer your option (or you need to leave for NY City asap).  It'd take about three months to clear the problem, or put them on someone else's street.

Fifth, I'm fairly skeptical that the homeless charity groups are doing much constructive....except have management folks with high salaries.

Sixth, a lot of the crazies and the druggies....all fall into the same 'path', and mostly need a controlled lifestyle for the remainder of their life.

Three Humble Thoughts

 1.  All this chatter of Trump revising the Cannabis/weed/grass/pot rules....bringing  it to the level of booze?

If you had simply the type or lesser-weed that existed in the 1960s/1970s/1980s....I wouldn't say much.  That was low-grade THC  (meaning less than 14-percent on the content level of THC).

But we emerged out of the 1980s with commercialization...with THC levels of 50-to-90 percent.

The 1980s guy could get a buzz....sleep a bit better....over-eat  on occasion, and cut back on pain.

The 2020 guy with the high THC level weed....cognitive impairment?  Well...if he were a electrical technician, or a mechanical engineer....he's probably by the 5th year of regular use...not  going to be at his top level.

The 2020 guy with the high THC level weed....psychosis or paranoia?  Well...yeah, the  risk goes up with occasional problems....like thinking that dogs talk, his neighbor is an alien, or that the wife is hooked up with the minister.

The 2020 guy with the high THC level weed....experiencing anxiety on a weekly basis?  Yeah, there will be some point....where certain things will trigger this gal....to have anxiety, or panic attacks.  It might be the Piggly Wiggly clerk asking about your health, or some gas-station clerk noting your tires seem low, or your doctor asking about your drinking habits.

2.  I'm about 50-50 in belief now on the idea that Senator Adam Schiff has both a California and Maryland license/ID, and probably registered to vote in both.  If true, he has to be tossed from the Senate.

3.  DOGE will be doing a complete audit of US funding to Ukraine.  I'll just go and predict...50-percent will not be accountable (just dissolved into thin air).

What Happens In The End?

 1.  Since Trump wrote the EO to identify the drug cartels as terror organizations?

Pentagon will start using drones (yes, even over Mexico), and pick targets.  Cruise missiles will follow, and over the course of 2025/2026....probably over 3,000 cartel 'members' will die.  Mexico's President will complain and stage a UN protest.  The 'war' will escalate, with politicians/military members in the US being targeted. The only way you know about success?  If the price of cocaine suddenly doubles over a one-month period.

2.  Senator Schiff and AG of NY James?

Raid of their homes by fall....with grand jury situations.  Both will say they were given bad advice....stalling.  Both will be offered some deal....correct your actions, pay the correct taxes/fees, pay a $100k fine, and 3 years of probation.  The other issue that might pop up....did both register to vote in two states, and vote in a dual situation.....getting deeper into a mess.

3.  Mayor-Pete?

He's finished unless some Democrat wins the Presidency and appoints him back into some Cabinet position.

4. Clinton Foundation?

When all the Epstein 'smoke' clears....it'll be noted as a money-laundering organization....with Bill and Hillary telling most of the blackmail story (claiming themselves as victims).  We will also discover that various other charity foundations were designed the same way.

5.  New Census out of cycle?

Massive lawsuits will occur to stall this....with at least 20 activist judges doing their best.  Supreme Court will rule....there's nothing written into the Constitution to prevent it.

Virtually every single state will lose from the 2020 Census.

6.  Alberta, northern two-thirds of British Columbia, Manitoba, and Saskatchewan?

Free of Canada by end of 2026.  Likely to be applying for US statehood.  Remainder of Canada falls financially apart by 2027.  This will affect the House numbers for the present 50 states....giving up at least 12 to make entry possible.

7.  Governor Newsom?

Some money-laundering element will be noted with Newsom's wife.  President Trump probably will offer a pardon after the conviction....if Newsom just goes back to the catering business and stays out of politics.

8.   Gaza Strip?

My humble belief....once every single building is leveled....the Israelis arrange a path to exit....either to the West Bank, some other country, or a opportunity to stay (but to be evaluated that you are not connected to Hamas).  The strip will be rebuilt, under IDF control, and free of all Hamas players.

9.  CNN, MSNBC?

By summer of 2026....both will be sold off to media operations.  The high-cost folks?  Sent off.

What I Get Out Of CNN And MSNBC News Presently?

 Ten things:

1.  After a while, you realize there's a lot of irrational people who seem to have jobs to present their irrational views.

2.  Probably one-third of people  who graduated from college since 2000....lack any fundamental basic skills to assess information and present analysis.  Added to this...they can't do much with economic statistics or financial data.

3.  Being stupid but emphasizing your stupidity...is a talent with both networks.

4.  Funny accents....seem to score points in returning for discussions.

5.  It seems to be a fair number of folks who missed taking debate classes....but both networks are giving learning-on-the-job (LOTJ).

6.  Its interesting how they can find 'gangs' of these lesser informed folks....to come back for future irrational talks.

7.  One gets the impression that 90-percent of folks have never been outside of a urbanized city or zone....in their entire life.

8.  Moderators don't seem bothered with dimwit-guests.

9.  IQ-levels don't seem to matter.

10.  It's best to mute things....that don't seem to make sense, and try to forget what they said....as  quickly as possible.

What Will We Get Out Of The Epstein Hearings (Aug-Sep)?

 Well....just two things.

First, one group will be willing to talk but really lack anything substantial about Epstein.  The same group will admit bits and pieces of anti-Trump agenda....just enough to lead to 2026 hearings.

Second, we will find that the primary thing that Epstein dealt with....was the building of dozens (if not hundreds) of charity foundations....to enable money-laundering on a massive level.  This will lead onto banks being dragged in, admitting they suspected money-laundering, but were unable to get the Bush, Obama, Trump or Biden 'camps' to react.  This will lead in 2026....more hearings with Treasury Secretaries over a 20-year period.

How much money moved in this charity gimmick?  Tens of billions per year.

People will eventually ask CNN and MSNBC.....how this was possible, and the black-mail situation will be the only way to explain how this occurred.

Cult-Like Behavior (Even If It's Not A Religion)

Ten examples of you are standing in a cult....even if it's not designed as a religion:

1.  There just can't be any skepticism.  You can't have open discussions or open debate, because skepticism might erupt and then the fantasy comes to an end.

2.  If someone within your group says some words to indicate they may have 'fallen-out'....then you are led by your group to dump upon the friend.  They can't be a 'friend' anymore.

3.  There's always a border between your 'world' and the 'other' world.

4.  Shame-up, and shame-down.  Your cult keeps you focused to avoid being shamed.

5.  There's always a different moral standing for your group.  You get a explanation that never makes sense.

6.  Your group continually works on getting you to identify as something.

7.  Being rational....isn't a priority.  Being irrational seems to get you 'points'.

8.  Money/funding....is always a focus.

9.  Polarization always seems to be a daily focus.

10.  Indoctrination seems to be a regular thing.

Oddly enough....politics seems to be almost a cult-like state now.

Three Humble Observations

First, all this theatrical stuff with the Epstein documents being 'held'....just seems like Trump is begging for judges to go against him, and force release.

Odds here?  Probably some blackmail chatter....involving both Hillary and Bill Clinton....with them using their foundation as a money-laundering vehicle.  There's no way a judge can read all of the papers, and he'll accidentally screw over both Bill and Hillary by the release.  Just my humble belief.

Second,   I am rather shocked.....a new report by a former NY Police Department executive shows that more cops doesn't necessarily equal a safer landscape for the general public.

Third, if you live in a shit-hole metropolis....not desiring to exit, it's your call.  Don't go and whine about it.

Movie Review: Tenet

Past week, I attempted to watch Tenet.

Basic story?  Some bad guy has acquired a time-travel gadget, and is arranging things to fit his desires.  A future group of folks have arrived to recruit some guy....to be on the team to counter the bad guy, and the whole movie revolves around arranging or un-arranging some event.

Yeah, it was complicated, and marginally getting a story across.  It's one of those movies that you'd have to watch six to eight times to get the whole idea across.

My recommendation?  If nothing much on, and your wife isn't around....watch it.  Don't watch it with a German in the room because it'll be too complicated to explain.

What To Do With The District Of Columbia?

I spent 3.5 years living in the DC area, and walked around a good portion of it (the safe and unsafe areas).  So as Trump is discussing a change....just my ideas:

1.  Take the whole SE corner (south/east of the river) and call up Maryland....telling them to 'make-a-deal'.  Hand it over....yes, the ballpark, and Joint-Base.

2.  Repeat the same with the NW corner (the upper one-third of DC)....the Georgetown area.

3.  Put the remaining part under a partnership.....a commissioner for security and a mayor/4-person council   under the remaining pieces.  Put the commissioner under a 3-year contract...to be renewed one single time....nominated by the President and approved only by the House (not the Senate).

4.   Establish one federal judge for the remainder...same deal....one single 3-year period, and renewed one single time.  If you committed a crime in DC....you would only appear in this court.

5.  Finally, juveniles noted for crime.....are not given any 'free-passes'.

The Six Attorney General's Subpoenaed

These six were issued subpoenas for depositions related to the Jeffrey Epstein investigation (date to appear listed):

William Barr (Former U.S. Attorney General): August 18, 2025

Alberto Gonzales (Former U.S. Attorney General): August 26, 2025

Jeff Sessions (Former U.S. Attorney General): August 28, 2025

Robert Mueller (Former FBI Director and Special Counsel): September 2, 2025

Loretta Lynch (Former U.S. Attorney General): September 9, 2025

Eric Holder (Former U.S. Attorney General): September 30, 2025

There are two questions here....who will only say 'the fifth' and avoid talking, and then the question will come up about them having campaign donations.

I think Holder, Lynch and Gonzales will 'talk'....with the three indicating 'no'....they've never been to the island or met with Epstein.

Sessions?  Somewhere in the questions....they will ask about campaign donations, and he'll try to skip the question....maybe saying he doesn't remember.  I'm guessing down the line....he got a check or two, and probably doesn't remember  much of anything.

Mueller?  He's got dementia, and probably won't show.

Then you have Barr....who will not provide any info and claim the 5th on every question (my belief).

All of this leading to something?  Well....you have Bill and Hillary, and their subpoena situation will make things complicated.  How much Epstein gave to Hillary's senate campaigns or the 2016 race?  It might amount to several million.  In the end....both will  avoid prison (on things connected to Epstein), but find themselves locked out of interviews and public appearances.

If you are carrying around Trump score-card....you can say this wraps up 'revenge' upon the Clintons, and then leaves Biden and Obama for another day.

Footnote: Mueller was having early dementia probably even in the spring of 2019...as he prepared for the July 2019 House hearing on his Trump investigation.  You can review video from the five hours of 'talk'.  He's showing problems, and was clearly not focused.  He's probably been on a decline since summer of 2018.

The Rise, The Peak, And The Decline Of Pizza Hut

I watched a business piece this week....the financial losses of Pizza Hut (around $5.7-billion).

Around spring  of 1980....I visited my first Pizza Hut (Tacoma, Washington).  I was mostly sold on their pizza.

Over the next 15 years....I probably visited Pizza Hut around forty times a year.  Even upon arriving at Ramstein....I still went to the local Pizza Hut operation at least ten times a year.

If you asked me about the decline?  I would have said between 2000 and 2005....it was obvious that they had too many competitors, and there were too many fast-food chains to survive. Even today, if you ask me....between Papa Johns, Dominos, and Pizza Hut....P-H comes up in 3rd place on quality.  It's not bad pizza.....just that others do better.

Will Pizza Hut dissolve into nothing?  I'm of the mind that eating out 'costs' are killing the middle-class, and that everyone is slipping to a schedule.....probably to limit eating-out to once or twice a month, and the budget line now matters. Pizza Hut will downsize...probably to the level they were back in the mid-1980s.

The competitors?  They are suffering in various ways as well.

It's not the end of the world, but it's going to be a different landscape, where a number of buildings are empty and of no use to rent.

Seven Humble Thoughts

 1.  Chicago mayor Johnson gave a talk yesterday....more or less...admitting that the budget has reached a new stage, where massive new taxes have to occur....to keep the city running.

Yeah, it's a wake-up for commercial operations, and businesses in the city...you should start planning some exit.  They've 'Detroited' themselves into a pit where there's no exit possible.

2.  Each week that goes by now in California....folks seem to be asking where all the extra 'loot' (money) for Governor Newsom's lifestyle/home came from.  Yesterday, some folks started to discuss the idea that the Governor's wife....has to  be in money-laundering type of position....for this all to work as it does.

Who leads this (if it is  money-laundering)? Well.....no one says that part.  Makes you wonder if the Chinese have some input.

3.  If you notice, while watching CNN (with Scott Jennings)....they (the camera folks) do everything possible to have Scott silently sitting while the 'dimwit-lefty' speaks, and Scott does his crossed-arms piece, and you know....he's about to blast the 'dimwit-lefty'.  Five-star TV.

4.  All these Texas Democrats who left the state...hiding in Illinois....apparently had some ACT-BLUE donations to cover cost.  Well.....someone dug into it.....it shows mostly all of this to be folks with P O boxes.  So this has drawn attention....are they real people?

If not?  Who were they?  And if this was a fraud donation....will the state AG go after the money to be paid back?   (Figure $5k to $10k each).

5.  The map here is Republican (red) versus Democrat (blue) majority....county-by-county.

Someone summed up an idea that if you have a light-blue area....it's probably a higher chance of being more dead-voters and illegal-voters.

No evidence to support this, but it makes you wonder....would  someone go and rig up a fake population.

6.  2008....Jeffrey Epstein was a informant for the FBI....confirmed yesterday. How did this come to happen?  No one says.  Bush-era.  I suspect if you ask enough....you will find that he was a informant for the Brits, the French, the Israelis, and a dozen others....as well.

7.  In case you didn't notice....the Russian Central Bank raised the 'key-interest-rate' to 21-percent.  As bad as you might think things are in the US.....in Russia....it's ten times worse.

Three Things

 1.  I watched a video today....some young gal (probably 24)....college-degree....coming to a 'freak-out' over the college loan (she was showing the spreadsheet....$119,000 of debt presently).

Based off salary....she was pulling near $70,000 a year, but she had a nice apartment, and a relatively new $70,000 car (figure around $1,200 a month).

I got the impression that she had no financial advice given around age 18, and just kept thinking things would work out.  Are they really that stupid?

Surviving through 20 years of paying this off?  She'll be in some mental rehab by age 30, and probably half-way suicidal from that point on.

2.  Ghislaine Maxwell said that she never saw Donald Trump do anything that would cause concern.

What's odd to me....all this hyped-up isle-sex stuff, and neither Joe Biden or  Hunter....ever got involved?

3.  Someone asked Grok (AI for Twitter) to assign a possible IQ-level on someone.  Grok responded....kindly....'no',  that was not possible.

Generally, you can ask me about folks...and I have no problem in assigning a IQ-level.

Three Humble Thoughts

 1.  Some discussion started up with President Trump yesterday.....that 14-year-old 'bad-boys' are detained, then released (after a vicious assault).  Trump says....jail them with the adult 'bad-boys'.

It'll be fought but I think a majority of voters want some type of action done, and it's going to be a massive shock on first thousand bad-boys told by a judge.....'we are locking you in real jail for a month'.

2.  This is a map of the 4th District of Illinois.  Yeah, it's gerrymandered to the extreme.

There's probably over 60 points.

There's a case brewing at the Supreme Court....where they may decide that you can't design districts based on race.  If it goes that way....gerrymandering will be more difficult.

3.  More chatter today....that the Federal Government may take over 'operations' of DC.  What it means?  Not clear.

At the end of 1973....Nixon signed the act to allow 'home-rule'....meaning it could have a mayor, city council, and run local  affairs.

Before that point, Congress would approve a 'Commissioner'.

If you asked me where things are going?  They might lean toward sub-dividing DC....saying x-space is city-run, and y-space is controlled by a Commissioner. I might also suggest that they are ready to give 'back' property to Maryland (I'd suggest 40-percent of DC could be handed over).

Quebec, Alberta, and This 51st and So-On State Chatter

Over the weekend.....some political officials from the province of Quebec....finally said that they are also looking at exiting Canada.

So what are the numbers here?

Quebec: 8.7-million, Alberta: 4.5-million.  British Columbia: 5.3-million, Manitoba: 1,409,223, and Saskatchewan: 1,194,803.

If you agree that there's to be five states (figure 10 more Senators, and at least 25 House members split up).

At the point that Quebec goes....will the rest say 'enough', and walk away?  I would imagine it'll take a year or two....but yeah....all will go this way.

The Senate design having to change?  I would go and suggest that the Senate chamber will max out.....around 110 seats, and then you have to survey the idea of a whole new structure for daily business.   More House problems? Just basic  math.....I'd say the new states would need in the range of 85-to-90 House seats.

The Yukon being part of Alaska in the end?  It's possible.....same story for the Northwest Territories.

An odd historical era about to unfold? Yeah, remarkable and shocking at the same time.

Four Humble Observations

 1.  By the end of 2026....I expect a grocery store trend to start up....where you have to swipe a credit card to enter a store, and the cart will be taken by the door to scan, and deduct from your credit card.  By the end of 2027, I expect most all stores (including Wal-Mart) to have started the trend to prevent shop-lifting.

2.  Either in 2026 or 2030....a Census will occur, and I predict it'll lessen the US population by 30-million (mostly illegals). The exit of population in California will carve massively into the districts allocated...taking away 10 districts minimum.

3.  I suspect if you did a complete audit of all homeless funds handed out by state and federal groups.....more than 50-percent went into a money-pit with no value for homeless folks.

4.  I think all of the networks (NBC, CBS, and ABC) are adding up the losses.  If you run a show, and it's a no-profit/no-loss situation....you probably will survive.  Everyone else?  It's probably the moment that everyone has waited for....for  30-odd year.

Saturday Night Live To End?

I read through some stuff today, and NBC is having a talk.....losses of $100-million a year are now 'average'.  So the question is...do you just terminate the show completely, or fire the production-bosses?

So five observations:

First, probably from the start (Oct 1975) to around the late 1980s.....it was funny.  At some point around 1992/1993....after viewing an episode....I considered not that funny.  It'd peaked.

Second, there's an era of a dozen years (late 90s to 2009) that I didn't watch it at all. When I started to watch again....I'd generally say that just one or two skits in the show were funny....the rest were marginally worth worth watching.

Third, the slant since 2008 being anti-Republican/pro-Democrat?  Yeah, that's oblivious.

Fourth, just laying off the production team?  Then what?

Fifth and final....if you ended the show.....the network would just say it's free-and-open for stations to find their own 'show'.  I'm not sure of what would happen.  Maybe some science-fiction hour?  Maybe roller-derby?  Maybe a whole hour of one single-skit....just comedians allowed to go as far as they want?

My three most favorite skits from SNL:  Washington's Dream (2023), anything with the Californians, and 1976's Samurai Stockbroker with John Belushi (yeah, that was a real Samurai blade used).

Time Covers

I actually remember the Time issue from December 1973....bought it, and read the entire global cooling piece.

As the mid-80s came around and global warming was hyped?  I stayed true to the global cooling position.

When climate change came in the 2004 era?  I stayed true to the global cooling position.

As the carbon BS started....I stayed true to the global  cooling position.

Interesting Idea

The State Department is looking over this idea to connect to tourist and student visas....a $15,000 'bond'.

If you over-stay....they keep the bond, and upon arrest....you get sent out (deported) and can't  re-enter for a decade.

How many people violate the student/tourist situation?  Unknown.  I would be guessing....in the past....maybe in the 20,000 range (per  year).

If so....that's $300-Million a year that they would generate.

How much would the bond cost?  No one says much about this, but I would imagine that bond-companies would want a minimum of $1k  (probably off a credit card) to cover the bond, and the cost factor is a $100 fee.

Would this lessen tourism?   Yeah, I'm of the mind that a German, or Italian....would say no to visiting the US.

A Whats App Story

This is a true story, and you might be amused by it.  I told this about six years ago, and about once a year....it pops into my mind.

So it's mostly about 'Ms X', who is a 53-year old woman.....three times married, and currently with husband three.  I should note, she has a cellphone and uses What App a good bit.

So, X had health issues, and the doctors finally came up to say she had cancer....stage one, and in a resolvable state.  She's sent in the local area to meet Doctor So-V-So.  He's a young guy (early 30s), intelligent, and knows a good bit about uterus cancer (what she had).

Treatment starts up.

A lot of one-on-one conversations.  X was worried about her 'abilities' after treatment, and Doctor So-V-So got really into this topic and discussed it at length.

For whatever reason.....X felt that the doctor was going to the next level....'real friendly'.  We are talking about secret relations 'friendly'.

X handed Doctor So-V-So her cellphone number.

A week later, someone sends X some text via Whats App, and she thinks it's Doctor So-V-So.

Over the next five months, this hot-flash impluse thing starts up, and X is all fired up to have an affair with Doctor So-V-So.

Well....here's the thing.....that text?  Well....it wasn't from Doctor So-V-So.  It was from some guy who'd mistakenly sent her number a text.

As each day passed in this five month period....she was fantasizing a minimum of five hours a day on dumping her husband, and running off with Doctor So-V-So.

Remember, not a single word or text came from the real Doctor So-V-So.  And to be honest, from this mistaken guy.....I doubt if there were more than five text messages exchanged, with limited dialog.  He just didn't realize the mistake that started this.

Then one day, all of this fantasizing reached some peak, and she sent some long extended chat to the phone, and the mistaken guy gets this whole blunt message about him 'toying' with her.  He comments back to her.....well, he ain't Doctor So-V-So.

So begins to unravel this whole secret fantasy situation via Whats App.  The fact that she was entertaining 'firing' her husband and easily running off with someone else who she'd never even had a drink with or lusty moment in bed?

Five to six months of this, and it comes to some abrupt end, without a real ending.  Just all an illusion.

Would make a great five-star script for a movie.

Four Things

 1.  If Trump goes to a fresh new Census?

I would imagine Congress/the Senate....would deny any funding.  However, if Trump performs the Census with postal employees, and avoids the cost....there will be some lawsuit to arrive at the Supreme Court.

So here's the odd factor....lets say the Census is done (by alternate means) and the count says nationally (avoiding illegals)....is 26-million LESS.  It begs the question....does this screw with all 50 states, and massively with redrawing districts in all fifty for 2029/2030?

I do agree....Texas and California will both lose districts, and this re-drawing will turn into a civil conflict for the courts to handle in 2030.  I'd also agree...the ONLY topic for the 2032 election will be this effect forced upon the nation.

2.  When you ask Grok (the AI on Twitter) a question....it's only examining reports and coming to a balanced decision.  'Best guess' is the product in  the end.  Frankly, you can ask a 12-year old kid, and get the same answer.

3.  I think it would be helpful if you took all 17-year-old kids....tazed them...forced them into a jail-house for 48 hours, and made them rough-camp for a week in some wilderness....to demonstrate civilization and it's values.

4.  If you finished high school, and were tested on stupidity.....repeating the test five years later....how many people would improve their stupidity score (getting more stupid)?  Five percent?  Ten percent?

Harris On Colbert's Show

This week, I went and viewed the 25-odd minute 'talk' of Kamala Harris on Colbert's show.  Four observations:

1.  On my goofy-index for a chat....1-to-10....it hits 8-to-9 for most of the whole show.  If you asked me if she was on some tranquillizer or had a wine or two prior....I'd say I had that impression.

2.  In some way, I felt sorry for her....these type of interviews don't effectively work.

3.  For comedy show value (like comparing to Leno or Carson)....I can't really give Colbert any high marks.  Maybe viewers wanted to see a goofy Harris moment for 25 minutes....but the majority of folks would flip the channel to soccer, cooking with hot spices, or Mission Impossible episodes from 1970.

4.  Finally, if you asked me if Harris was potentially a candidate for California governor after watching this....I'd say NO.  After eight years of goofy Newsom....most are looking for someone who seems less drugged-up or fake-witty.

Dead-Guy Politics

I wrote this essay back in November 2013, and it's pretty much still accurate today.

It's often hard to be an American....occasionally explaining to some German or sorts....on how we had an election in some town, and the dead candidate won.  It's even harder....to explain how dozens, perhaps hundreds, and maybe even thousands of dead folks vote in regular elections.

This week (Nov 2013)....based on news reports....there's at least two candidates for small-time offices who won, yet they are dead (passed-on, as we say in Bama).

Yeah, the voters knew it.  This had been printed up in the regional newspapers, and if you read them.....you'd know that "Joe" was dead.  The general problem is that no one in either party wants to invent some rule where the political party steps in and selects a last-minute replacement....who immediately loses the race.

Naturally, there are rules where the dead guy can't occupy the office....so the county commission, the mayor, the governor....etc....picks some temporary replacement, and they run up another election in less than twelve months.

Dead-guy politics are difficult to figure out.  If there's a week left in the election....it's hard for any newspaper to come up and criticize a dead guy, his record, or his personal habits (boozing it up, gambling in Vegas, trailer-trashy women, missing neighbors, bar fights, corruption, real estate deals with fake companies, etc).

Once you are passed-on as a political candidate....it's pretty clear sailing.  Even your opponent can't say much against you.

Politics usually involves flip-flopping around....course, for a dead guy running for office, there's no more flip-flopping.  Positions are iron-tight at this point.

You'd think a third-party candidate would suddenly get a bunch of votes, and things might get more interesting, but that never happens.

So onward goes an American tradition.  Dead-guys can win an election.  Dead voters can determine close elections.  And it's all part of being a Republic....sadly.

Derangement Syndrome...How Many Versions Exist?

 I started counting:

Lincoln Derangement Syndrome (1861–1865)

Grant Derangement Syndrome (1869–1877)

Hayes Derangement Syndrome (1877–1881)

Garfield Derangement Syndrome (1881)

Arthur Derangement Syndrome (1881–1885)

Harrison Derangement Syndrome (1889–1893)

McKinley Derangement Syndrome (1897–1901)

Roosevelt Derangement Syndrome (1901–1909)

Taft Derangement Syndrome (1909–1913)

Harding Derangement Syndrome (1921–1923)

Coolidge Derangement Syndrome (1923–1929)

Hoover Derangement Syndrome (1929–1933)

Eisenhower Derangement Syndrome (1953–1961), although I should stress...this was awful mild

Nixon Derangement Syndrome (1969–1974)

Ford Derangement Syndrome (1974–1977)

Reagan Derangement Syndrome (1981–1989)

Bush Derangement Syndrome (1989–1993)

Bush II Derangement Syndrome (2001–2009)

Trump Derangement Syndrome (2017–2021, 2025–present)....most severe but second to Lincoln Derangement Syndrome

Yes, 19 DS's.  Note, I didn't count prior to Lincoln, and I marginally consider EDS (Ike DS) to exist.  If I ranked the top three.....LDS, NDS, and TDS.  B2DS would be 4th.

Why they seem to get more intense?  Mostly because of the news media, and inability to win elections for the Democratic candidate.

The True Cost of a Vegas Hotel Room

It used to be a simple deal....$99 room, with a local sales tax in the 10-percent range...meaning it was $108 room.  So presently?

Clark County tax, 13.38-percent.

Destination or Amenity Fees: Range of $20 to $55 per night.  What it covers?  Wi-fi, pool access, etc.

Sales tax: 8.25-percent

Parking fee:  if you drove....figure a minimum of $5 per day....on up to $20 a day.  A handful of hotels have zero charge.

Utility tax: a handful of hotels are charging around $3.95 per day.

Where the county tax leads to?  Well....to get the  baseball park project up and running....they needed cash flow, and some of that tax leads to that (not all).

I'll just say....around the US, for 'nice' hotel deals....the rooms tend to run $150 to $200 now.  Vegas is attempting to keep the $99 vision alive, but the fees and taxes are simply hiding the full-cost.

I'd also say that recession is in the minds of people, and gambling for three days....isn't a plus-up on most folks.

I hate to  say it.....but if you added flight cost, hotel, food, beverages, and 'fun-money'....you could fly into Turkey...stay at a beach resort 5-star...get breakfast/dinner with drinks as a package for the same cost (if this were a 7-day situation).  Yeah, it is cheap booze, and it's a bit unique to chill-out in Turkey.

Who REALLY Pays The Tariff Crap?

I've watched fifty-odd interviews where economists and journalist want to explain the Trump tariff, and how YOU, the consumer, pay it.

So....lets examine two facts.

First, any product made in Europe....comes to the US to be bought, will have the tariff, and you the consumer will pay the tariff.

Second, what exactly are you lined up to buy....made in Europe?

Agriculture stuff?  No....most of that is US or Mexican produced.

Wine?  To be honest, if you counted on both hands.....you probably only know two people who regularly drink French or Italian wine.  If I asked how wealthy they were....you'd grin and admit that they live 'high-on-the-hog' and can afford a tariff.

Cars?  If you know someone in the US with a Porsche, Mercedes, Audi or BMW....you will admit they also live 'high-on-the-hog'....as a doctor, banker, or engineer.  They can afford to pay an extra $7,000 on the tariff.

As you go down the list....after 10 minutes....you readily admit that you just don't buy anything much made in Europe.  You know some wealthy folks who do....but they can afford an extra $15,000 a year buying this stuff.

Does the financial dimwit on CNN mention this?  No.

I would be worried if I were buying German or Dutch stuff....but in a US-landscape....I won't be doing that.

The same being true for a German buying US stuff?  Yeah, that's the amusing part of the story.    I might see a reason to buy US whiskey, but that's the max I might go.

So all of this BS?  Yeah, if you think about.....the ultra rich will pay the bulk of the tariff crap.

How This 'Russia-Gate' Hoax Of 2016 Came To Be?

Basically.....one small group (probably a step or two below Hillary) suggested some massive fake rumor, and to connect the evil-Trump to the Kremlin.

This group briefed the idea....got some cash-flow to pay someone to officially create a intelligence assessment (fictional material), and as it flowed around at each level...it got BIGGER.

Eventually, with the election over...Trump won...the Obama crew picked up the same story and simply added to it.

At some point....I would imagine members of the FBI and CIA wanted the internal details...which weren't really factual. The snowball was rolling, and they were unable to halt the situation.

Journalists got the same material....never doubting it, and pushed it the rest of the way.

It is funny now to realize how many levels the hoax went through, and was simply revamped and energized each time.

Arresting and placing people in prison?  I don't think it'd really work.  I'm of the mind that a case  has to be created for damaging one's reputation, and put some amount....maybe $2-billion....maybe even $5-billion, and divide it among the forty-odd players.  Yeah, it'll destroy the savings of these folks, and make the remaining year miserable.

Maybe I'd offer a deal....you pay half of your share, and agree never to make a speech, write a book or do an interview....for the remainder of your life.

TDS

TDS, or Trump Derangement Syndrome is a non-clinical term coined to describe what some perceive as irrational, exaggerated, or obsessive criticism of Donald Trump, his policies, or his presidency.

I've reviewed clinic chatter, and no certified folks really want to say the syndrome  exists....although several dozen clinics have some type of 'program' where they take you in (provided your insurance covers it) and puts you in a lesser chaotic state of mind (they are all careful not to say their program relates to TDS....just that you are stressed-out).

I would imagine the 3-to-4 week  program...mostly training you to avoid news or political dialog/commentary.  They probably read some Bible scripture....watch some episodes of Happy Days....haul hay....mow some lawns, and mellow-out with some high-grade weed.

What this revolves around for the state of mind?  It suggests that critics are so consumed by their dislike for Trump that they lose objectivity, reacting with intense emotion or hostility that overrides logic or reason.

I was looking back over things...going past 2016, and this odd comment comes up around 2003....Bush Derangement Syndrome.  It was uttered by Charles Krauthammer.  For the record, before he became a journalist...he was a psychiatrist.

BDS?  Well....it means folks are consumed by their dislike for Bush that they lose objectivity, reacting with intense emotion or hostility that overrides logic or reason.

VDS?  Well....it means folks are consumed by their dislike for VP Vance-turned-into-President (2028) that they lose objectivity, reacting with intense emotion or hostility that overrides logic or reason.

XYZ-DS?  Well....it means folks are consumed by their dislike for anyone who is a Republican with high vote  probability....that they lose objectivity, reacting with intense emotion or hostility that overrides logic or reason.

I'm trying to think of an occasion  like this in American history but nothing really fits.  You simply have around 20-odd-million Americans now programed for intense emotion and hostility (it's embeded into their mental side).

Just an odd factor that we seem now stuck with.

(Note: if you are afflicted with TDS, BDS, or anything-DS....I'll pray for you, humor you to some degree....but in my mind....you got some kind of demon-problem, and probably four consecutive days of hauling hay on a hot August afternoon....to get the problem solved.)

Ten Things

 1.  Toward the beginning of 2026...I expect a Trump lawsuit against Hillary, Obama, and a cast of forty people....in the range of $2-billion...saying they went out to ruin his reputation.

This method....will resolve the mess of trying to bring them into 'real' court.

Taking two years?  Yeah, but at the end....by the time they carve up the loot situation...it'll mostly bankrupt Hillary and the rest of the crew.

2.  After reviewing this Cincinnati beat-down situation this past week....I'm of the mind that the city officials are Detroit-minded, and seek to bring the city to a lesser population within five years.

3.  It's just odd...growing up in the 1960s/1970s....and no one ever brought up CULTURE.

4.  I watched some podscast interview where a Dem-strategist said that Kamala Harris will be a big player/speaker for the mid-terms of 2026.  Not to cast doubt, but I think 90-percent of Dem-districts will 'pass' on her coming to speak for them.

5.  Viewing all this hard-luck status for Vegas....I am reminded that what they depended upon...were free-spending folks of the working class.  So when the economy shifted....folks had debt suddenly.....home costs expanded....Vegas had little to offer the typical guy.

I'm not saying Vegas is dead, but this model they've used since the 1960s....won't work anymore.

6.  We've reached a level where you utter 'unhinged' and ask 10 people to define the term.....then getting ten different definitions.  At least one will respond that it's when you remove a door from house.

7.  I probably watched twenty interviews this past week with 'guests' who were described in some way as 'intellectual'.  By the end, with about half of them....I felt they'd wrapped up school at the 7th grade, and whatever university they'd attended for intellectual status....they might want to ask for their money back.

8.  My wife (German in nature) sent me on an errand to buy two cases of her favorite bottled water (ONLY 1 particular brand) at the local grocery, while it  was on sale.  I should  note....the brand makes 3 'models' (with gas, no gas, and medium).

So I go over on Tuesday.  I've been issued orders to buy 2 cases of 'with-gas'.  There's none left.

I go on Wednesday.  There's none left.

I go on Thursday.  There's none left

I go on Friday.  There's none left.

And I go this AM......none left.  It just feels like I'm in old Soviet Union days.

9.  I noted this week....a Miami hotel has outsourced their front desk to India. Guests approach a video-display....get checked in virtually on video call with an Indian representative.

Just guessing, within five years....more than half the hotels in America will be this way.

10.  Iran says.....they have 'plenty of scientists' left to restart uranium enrichment and nuke operations.

I'm guessing all the successful 50-year old PhD types have been  buried, and they are approaching the 40-to-45 year old crowd....with them wondering if they are a big target, and if this is the career-job they always dreamed of.

Meanwhile....the 30-to-40 year old science crowd are looking at career advancement in two to four years....with their new bosses dead and buried.

The Luxury Burger Story

I watched a business report this week...where a poll was done and the public said....FAST-FOOD is now a luxury (so says 80-percent of Americans polled).

It's reached a stage where stopping off for a $15 bag (for 3) at McDonalds....is now near $35 (figure with taxes). So that once or twice a week 'thrill'....has dissolved.

I remember this as a kid in rural Alabama...where stopping at Wendys, Krystal, or Burger King was a big-deal and the family unit of four paid around $7.  Today?  You'd have to spend near $40 to $45.

So if this is a luxury....I'm wondering what else has gotten  tied into the luxury 'bundle'.  Cable TV, theater tickets, magazines, Nike tennis shoes, premium whiskey?

Did this evolve out of the Covid era?  I'm of the mind that 50-percent of the 'push-pull' came in this era....the rest created out of the Biden-direction in 2023/2024....which you can tie some 'pain' into the fed and their lack of understanding.

Yeah, in some ways....it's the 1930s.  You have hobo-residents, druggies, and nutcases residing in some public camping-ground (on the street by your house, or your local school).

Banks tittering like they were in 1930 and 1931?  Well....yeah, you could make a case that they are lacking some path to profitability and unable to get traction.

Trump in FDR's shoes?  Well....pretty much everything that FDR would say to do or NOT-to-do.....Trump is doing the opposite.  FDR was prolonging the depression by every single action he committed the nation to.  So there has to be a better outcome than what existed in 1940.

Nine Things

 1.  I watched some interview....American wife, with a Mexican husband....marriage of dozen-odd years....the husband has NO Green Card.  ICE came to collect the guy.

Reporter tries to tip-toe around this, but after watching 2 minutes of this...figuring up the guy had been in the US for sixteen-odd years...he MUST have had some Green-Card phobia (irrational fear of ever getting a Green Card).  Then I realized....his wife has to have the same Green-Card phobia as well.

I wish her well, but she'd best start practicing Spanish.

2.  I watched a collection of podcasts/videos this week....covering Portland, Vegas, SF, and LA.

I'd put both Portland and SF on a 'to-be-Detroit-status' by the end of 2026....fairly dead and unable to come back.  Blame?  Drug-use, homeless, bad-boy attitudes, loser-politicians, reckless police management, worthless judges, and no plan on recovery.  Both relied upon tourism and successful stores/hotels to survive.  Both failed.

In the case of Vegas....the economy has reached a level where no wants to spend money.  There's also the FEE-woes....where you rent a $99 room, and discover between fees and taxes....the total for the room adds up to around $179.  This puts the typical 3-night visitor into a tough position....with $1k on  food and room....then finding another thousand for gambling or shows.  This won't work.  I'm of the mind....at least twenty fairly well-known hotels will not be around by the end of 2026.

As for LA.....how would a bank lend you money to rebuild after the fire....if they know insurance companies won't connect with you?  I don't think Mayor Bass understands this side of the rebuild story.  In support of insurance companies.....where exactly is the fix-it plan or the fire services?

Oh, and wondering about NY City?  Once the socialist new mayor 'arrives'.....I will put NYC on the 'doomed-list' as well.

3.  I don't understand this American Eagle jeans BS.  Some young attractive blonde puts on a pair of jeans, and people freak out?

4.  Over the next year....you will hear the term....Operation Mockingbird a good bit.

Operation Mockingbird was, and still is....a large-scale program of the United States Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) that began in the early years of the Cold War (1950s) and manipulated domestic American news media organizations for propaganda purposes.

Hint: it has never ended.

5.  Not that it matters....but in about twelve months....Canada will be a chaotic state of existence....with at least 3 to 5 provinces....leaving, and the remaining 'pieces' are unable to figure a budget plan to keep the rest surviving.  In this moment....around half the population....which leaned awful left....will be asking for a miracle.

6.  I watched a Joe Biden speech that he gave this week.....he seemed witty/sharp and not 'off'.  It makes me wonder and ask how much drugs was he hooked-up to for four years.

7.  Maybe it's old age, but I'm pretty much agreeable to loitering laws now....unless you are sitting on a bench in some town/city....if just standing or protesting....you need to be constantly moving, or face a $50 fine for loitering.

8.  My agenda for high schools, if I ran the system?  From 8:15 to 10:15....PT every single day, and no waivers to get out of it.

9.  I watched this Colbert show program, with the interview of Kamala Harris.  Giggling through the piece....yeah, this seemed like she was high on something, or had a glass or two of wine prior.
