Five Things I Now Think

 1.  The Republicans could hype up some female trans radical leftist as their next Presidential candidate, and immediately the person would be accused as not being far enough left, and identified as a far-right extreme fascist.

2.  It appears some group in the White House is trying to guide Biden to create a definition out of thin-air for 'women'.  You would think, with all the various problems now existing in America.....this would rank near bottom of 250,000 priorities.

3.  House committee being asked to investigate Governor de Santis over the migrants being flown into Martha's Vineyard.  I think they will drag the guy into DC, to be in front of cameras.  Biggest possible mistake to pump up his 'star' and have him as the anti-Democrat player.

4.  Lot of weird stuff in past 72 hours going on in China.  Roughly 70-percent of in-country flights?  Cancelled.  Lot of military vehicles moving around.  No one seeing leadership in public.

5.  Kherson, Ukraine....held by the Russians....has been ordered by Putin to be 'held'.....meaning no retreat.  Two weeks ago, it was figured to be in the 15k to 20k range of Russian troops there, with marginal supplies being brought in.  If they start to retreat?  Some suggest special units being around to shoot retreating Russian forces.  Sounds an awful lot like things in WW II.

Panama

I 'bumped' into someone 'chatting' today.....who spent time in Panama, which back a lot of odd memories.

I spent three years there....1986 to 1989.  It was the Noreiga period, and I left about 6 months before the 'invasion' occurred.

My top ten memories:

1.  If anything went out on your car.....it could take you 90 days for the BX garage to get the part.

2.  You always kept a $10 bill in visor of the car, to bribe a cop if necessary.

3.  There were always snake issues.

4.  Christmas trees arrived in three or four steel containers from North Carolina....being about 80-percent dead.

5.  I walked in the car registration office in the second year (being a Panama gov't operation) and here were 20-odd Panamanian women (18 years old) dressed in the most slutty outfits possible, with one 60-year old gal supervising them.  Each one performed ONE single function.  I stood there for about 45 minutes....waiting.....and observing the flirting eyes and function of each gal.

6.  Virtually every single car failed the yearly inspection, and was fixed with a $10 bribe.

7.  The chicken 'shack' at the club (CTMS) had the best fried chicken in the world, at $4 for a five-piece tray and a ice tea.  It was super-ultra crispy.  On calorie count?  It was probably near 1,000 calories.

8.  At the entrance way of the NCO Club on a Friday night, there must have been forty Panamanian women waiting to get a invite inside.  Guys could easily get attached and married in six weeks.

9.  A legendary story was that one of the Tony Noriega's mistress gals was scheduled to arrive back at the airport in town, and Tony's wife found out the time.....meeting her and having a knife on her for several minutes until security took her down.

10.  The most excitement ever on Albrook (my housing area) was the arrest and detention of Tony's oldest daughter for racing through the housing unit.  The next day, Tony had around 100 Army and Air Force people arrested to pay them back.

This Pennsylvania Senate Race

You can script out 99-percent of Senate races, for the past hundred years, and they tend to go down a certain way.

This year in Pennsylvania?  It's just odd and strange.

Democratic candidate.....John Fetterman....will admit that he had a stroke back in May, which goes back to a 'mysterious and unknown previous condition' of  cardiomyopathy.  Most people who have cardiomyopthy....probably have several years of history to accompany this.

This guy....Fetterman...seems to act like its a shock.

Since May, everyone around Fetterman (campaign staff and family) all have the same scripted answer....he's recovered.

To prove the point?  Zero medical points.

Yeah, at this point....being around six weeks from the election....most everyone is skeptical of his brand and message.

The general belief?  He would get elected....serve twelve months in a weakened condition, and step down.  I'd say about 50-percent of state residents believe that now.

Dumping the guy back in June and going with a 2nd candidate?  Not possible.....Fetterman has the name recognition for this election.  It'd be a total loss.

I watched a speech by Fetterman from three weeks ago....last night.  Basically a two-minute speech, with eight mis-steps in the 'chat'.  If you asked me if he's mentally not 100-percent?  I'd say he's doing pretty well for a stroke guy, but mentally around the 90-percent point.  I'd also add....if I had a stroke....the last thing I'd want to do....is take up a 50-hour a week Senator job for six years.

The other side of this?  If you vote Republican.....you get stuck with Doctor Oz for six years.  I'm not that thrilled over Senator-Doctor Oz either.  Can't we find retired cowboys, or Beverly Hills Hollywood actors, or former wrestling stars to run for Senator?

This NY State Case Against Trump

After the smoke has cleared....what the AG (Letita James) has built up is a collapsible case.

For those who aren't aware.....it's an election year in New York state, and if you gaze at the polling data....the Republican candidate for state AG....went into a more aggressive position, and about ten days ago....AG James move down to a percentage point less than the Republican (Henry).

Just for the record, back in July....James was 'safe' at 50-percent, while Henry (the Republican) was at 36-percent.

So James needs a serious amount of plus-up, and I believe her intent is that she'd convince people to vote for her....in order to get Trump or his kids....in jail.

What'll happen on 9 November (the day after the election)?  Based on trends.....I'd say that the current AG (James) will lose by 5-to-7 percent.  The Trump case?  Come January....will be dumped.

What James really misjudged?  Maybe Democrats get hyped-up on this chatter, but among independents....it's just not selling much.

What was the Trump case mostly based on?  Well....that Trump over-stated the value of his company or assets, and got better deals via banks because of that.

The problem I see....if you made this a big deal....out of NY City, there's probably 25,000 business operations which have inflated themselves and tried to make themselves look better than what they are.  Trump might be guilty....but what about the other 25,000?

So this case dissolves away?  Yeah, and in two years.....no one will remember much of anything.

What Is Psychosis?

Well....you start to think or perceive things, which aren't real (call it hallucinations) o you start to believe things....which simply aren't true (delusions).

I sat and viewed a podcast recently, and came to realize....probably a quarter of the American population....fits into this problem.

How you notice these folks?

Typically, it goes to five things: first, you start to screw up at work.  Second, you start to lose your concentration.  Third, you are both uneasy and skeptical of just about everything around you.  Fourth, you only chat with certain people....who mostly identify with your version of reality.  Finally, you start to notice that you have maximum emotions on things which would usually be one-star events.

Drugs a part of this?  I'd say it contributes, but a lot of folks go off on this tangent....without any drug-help.

Two Unique Experiences Yesterday

I went to a Air Force clinic....which is a rare thing for me these days.  Last trip?  Maybe five years ago.

So to the first experience.....the bathroom visit.  I needed a brief stop at a bathroom, and stepped into a stall to do my business.  When I finished....I reached for the toilet paper....to realize it's not your normal regular Air Force or Army toilet paper situation.

Here was some ultra modern dispenser, which only allowed you to 'pluck' one single sheet at a time, and it was moist in some odd way (feeling oily). I probably spent a good 90 seconds admiring the technology involved, then it hit me.....it had to be double or triple the cost of plain old regular toilet paper.

Yes, I did eventually wipe myself, and it did take several 'yanks' of toilet paper sheets to accomplish this.

Second experience....having to deal with Sergeant so-and-so on these 25-odd questions.

Do I feel happy?  If I were suicidal?  My consumption rate of alcohol.  At some point, she handed me a list of seven medical words and asked me to pronounce them.....to which I looked at the terms and admitted to myself....five of the seven I'd seen in my life, but never verbally pronounced them.

She did apologize toward the end.....the Air Force medical empire mandated the questions to be asked.  Me repeating this?  No.....there's zero chance I'll entertain them a second time on the stupid questions.

Note: If some person was suicidal.....they would not be crazy enough to admit this to some stranger at a medical clinic, unless they were on their 3rd or 4th cocktail.

Three Odd Things You Notice In The News Today

 1.  There's chatter that McDonalds is having a discussion....moving their headquarters out of Chicago.  Reason?  Crime, and the feeling of threats in the city.

Any real truth to it?  My guess is that a couple of folks in the building have just said 'thats enough' and found jobs in safer territory.

Where would the company move?  There is some suggestion that they'd go to the far extreme western part of town.

If I were betting?  I'd put North Carolina, and Tennessee on the list.

2.  NIH did a study over the Covid vax given to kids.

So far?  The study says after 20 weeks (from vax date), you (as a kid) have negative effectiveness.  You'd have to take the vax every three months to get anything positive.

3.  Finally, this guy who plays the Flash (the movie), Ezra Miller, apparently has some mental condition now....that he believes some Jesus-like character.  Yeah, pretty wild situation.

This NYC Chatter of a Criminal Case Against Texas For Migrant Buses?

Basically, the only case possible is if Texas authorities made a threat, or forced the migrants to board the buses.

If they were just told of better work-conditions in NYC, given a bus ticket and a box-lunch, with a dozen beers to drink during the 24 hour 'journey'....there's just not a legal case that you can make out of this.

It would be like those Vegas casinos offering you in Tucson a free bus ticket (with a bag of snacks)....to journey for six hours to reach a casino....gamble for six hours, and then journey back home.

Hate crime?  No.

If the Texas guy said there's better paying jobs in NYC?  Well....there is, and no one can argue about that in a court.

The idea here by the Biden administration that you'd just let folks cross, and then maybe use some weird set-up to take some to special sites in Florida, or various Republican strongholds?  Well....the Republican states figured this out and 'played' another hand of poker.

What'll happen?  I suspect by December....some House draft bill will say that you can't charter buses or planes for crossing state lines, unless you get permission from the destination-state to accept the folks.  But in doing so.....you will make state-to-state tourism nearly impossible to function.

It is truly screwed-up but no one wanted a true border.

Five Observations

 1.  Covid officially declared by President Biden over the weekend, as ENDED.

Frankly, it was probably over in the spring of 2021 (my humble view).  Will the White House walk his comment back this week?  Some people have suggested that.

2.  This illegals and Martha's Vineyard stuff.

Everyone in the US has the right to travel from one point to another.  If none of them were handcuffed or forced....then I don't see the big deal or reaction by the Vineyard 'idiots'.  If you were asking me about accommodations in the Vineyard?  Well....there is no Motel-6 or cheapo place to stay, and they intentionally limit the unwanted guests (doesn't matter if they were illegals or homeless folks).

3.  This discussion of President Biden holding a campaign rally in Florida?

BS mostly.  They would have to find some method to get a minimum of 3,000 people to show up, and I would suspect at least half would be getting free pizza or some $50 gift-card.

4.  Apparently, there is some trend to bring the eunuch crowd up under the LGTB*** group.

I sat and paused over this chatter.  For those not familiar with the eunuch folks....they are the ones who were forced or volunteered to be castrated.

The numbers?  Medical folks generally say in the range of 500,000 men exist in the US in this eunuch condition.  However, they also point out that most all of them got there because of a medical condition (usually cancer) and you probably can do the statistical stuff to say half of them are Republicans or conservative lifestyle guys.  Maybe there's a couple thousand of them to fit under this LGTB*** umbrella.  Eventually, I think at least sixteen 'letters' will fall under the group....some of them twice or three times mentioned.

5.  Some BS story circulating that companies (really HR departments) are advertising what they call 'ghost-jobs' (meaning it's a fake advertisement and no interviews will occur).

The general belief to this trend?  That the company is seeking a government contract and wants to show resumes, but if the contract fails to occur.....they didn't waste valuable time.

Five Odd Things In The News

 1.  The Biden Administration is discussing regulations for cryptocurrency.  Odds of this working?  I'd give it less than a 10-percent chance.

Why this discussion? Back in 2013, there were 50 of these worldwide.  Today, it's believed to be in the 10,000 range.

2.  World Bank now talking 2023 major global recession?  Yeah.

What has been going on for past year?  Don't ask.

3.  Where all this secret document business is going with the Mar-a-Lago?

Once the appointed 'master' completes his survey.....he's going to have a list of documents that President Trump stamped unclassified.  At that point, the judge is going to turn to the DoJ and just tell them to hand those documents back to Trump ASAP.

One can only speculate here, but it might end up being close to 100-percent.  At that point, the whole raid 'game' will become a joke.

I will make this prediction....several of the DoJ lawyers are going to quietly hand their resignation papers in and leave the group before Thanksgiving.

4.  Pretty wild idea brewing with several major US cities....where they would get a program going where empty hotel rooms would be made available to homeless people, and normal hotel guests would be next-door to the homeless crowd.

I would anticipate those cities would see a drastic reduction in tourism (almost overnight).

All of this will trigger lawsuits over loss of profits, and trigger some cities to see less tax revenue (via hotels and tourism decline).

5.  The Pentagon last year (December timeframe), hired up a educational 'diversity chief' (mostly for overseas schools for American kids).  Well...in the past couple of months, someone went and dug up Twitter comments from this person hired, where they got all hyped-up and spoke racist comments.

Vetting being non-existent?  Well, you wonder how the system worked and no one asked about past commentary via social media.

What Is Human-Trafficking Really?

The Pentagon mandated some kind of human trafficking 'training' on personnel around twenty years ago.  The idea was.....no one would go and pay for hookers or pass money into the human-trafficking 'gimmick'.

In the past week, I've noticed the term of human-trafficking used a good bit....mostly by people who don't understand the concept.

If you go and buy a seat aboard a train, bus, or airline....to transport someone somewhere.....with no return on your ticket cost, it's not human-trafficking.

If no money is earned or expected on the expenditure of the ticket....it cannot be human-trafficking.

Why this vast misunderstanding by the news people?  I'm not sure.  I suspect they want to believe something 'terrible' but can't explain how it relates.

Four Things I Wonder About

 1.  Every time I see Governor Newsom of California on TV, I gaze at his hair and wonder how many tubes of gel he uses weekly for his greasy hair look.

In the 1960s/1970s of rural Alabama, I would notice  adult guys who probably used a jar of gel weekly....to get the right 'swag' of hair 'look'.  Maybe around age 12, I even went to the gel-look for a month (apply a dab each morning prior to school).  It just felt 'wet' all day long.

2.  On this Pennsylvania debate discussion between Oz and Fetterman....I've come to this thought that Fetterman probably was never 100-percent mentally up for much of anything, and that maybe a fair amount of Cannabis use as a young guy....got him to this 'level' of existing.

But on the other side of this.....Oz is pretty much the last guy on Earth that I'd want to send to DC for Senate work.

3.  Rap artists in Atlanta getting political, and putting out their own message/brand.....which might disagree with established Democratic political brands?

Yeah, and you just have to wonder....where this will go.

The thing is, you could write up a 2-minute rap-jingle, and using Twitter or Tik-Tok....get it across to 100,000 Atlanta voters in a matter of minutes.

The city ending up with a rap-mayor, and half the city council being rap-minded?

4.  Study showing intense workouts.....causing more stress on people, and possibly trigger memory problems?  Well....it begs questions and makes you wonder about all these hyped-up folks who exercise twenty hours a week.

Observations

 1.  Exactly 402 years ago today....the Mayflower left for the new world.

Late in the season?  Yeah....they should have been leaving already in March, and had a whole growing season behind themselves, with shelter built.

2.  Some kind of statement by Governor Newsom of California.....suggesting to the DoJ to charge up states sending illegals by bus anywhere....that it ought to be kidnapping.

3.  Some (just a few) colleges are now admitting there is a mental health crisis with students who are conflicted over global warming and the crisis impending.  It's reached a point where some intervention and wellbeing efforts have to occur.

In simple terms, these are kids who are too fragile to handle climate change.

True Positive, False Positive, True Negative, and False Negative

One year at the community college I attended in Tacoma, Washington (my Air Force years), they offered up a Logic 101 type class....to be taught by some Italian visiting professor from Milano.

From the class, we had fourteen people total.  Yeah, it wasn't an hyped-up deal.

Somewhere in the 2nd class held....he got onto this true positive, false positive, true negative and false negative discussion.  I had no problem and visually.....I got it in about 60 seconds.

From the rest of the class....I'd say more than half of the people didn't get it.  This meant minutes added while trying to get them 'over-the-hump'.  It was probably more than forty minutes wasted on this, and what it came down to.....at least three people didn't see a reason for four of these conditions to exist.  They felt once you established a true positive and false positive.....the rest were illogical.

At this point, for me anyway.....it was more interesting to view the class as a psychological unit than a class.  It was a statement about society....that a quarter of people were simply not going to see a necessity to have a true negative/false negative added to the true positive/false positive situation.

Today?  I would suggest we've gone way past the quarter of society, and probably more than fifty percent would be skeptical of the necessity of having four conditions.

A bad thing?  I wouldn't necessarily say that.  It's just that people want less complicated matters.  X and Y should just come to equal XY.  Once you suggest that something beyond XY exists.....people start getting skeptical of a second answer.

The entire class there (1980) came to an end where the professor didn't want to have a final test/quiz, and in some shocking way....found a logical way to hand each of us an 'A'....without a paper handed in or a quiz.  Of all the classes I've ever taken....it was the most entertaining class environment.

Can Anyone Write A Report Card Over Biden's First Two Years Of Office?

I would suggest that it's hard.

The recession business is a mystery.

The college debt deal for $10,000 will be challenged in court and likely revoked...angering the White House that someone figured out President Biden didn't have the power.

The Afghanistan exit was mostly a 'F'.

The 'gift' money for the Ukraine has everyone disturbed.

Other than 'V for Vendetta' 'red' speech.....no one remembers a single speech given by President Biden over the past two years.

On selection of VP Harris....that's mostly proven to be a 'F-plus'.

I could probably write another sixty lines but for what reason?  Maybe it'd be better if I wait ten years after he's left office....before I get to a report card session.

Biden's 'Red' Speech and V For Vendetta

Someone brought it up this week.....how the Biden 'red' speech was a lot like the movie 'V For Vendetta'.

I sat and pondered upon this.

V For Vendetta was a movie released in 2005.  The key element?  It was originally designed as a DC Comics story (late 1980s) where England had been taken by a agenda group, and the public was being lied to....on a national scale.

It's mostly a movie about propaganda and to what degree you'd drag the public into a dire situation where trust was no longer there.

In this comparison with Joe Biden's 'red' speech?  He wants you to believe it's a us versus them type of reality.  It was not a unity speech....it was a divider speech.  No one can argue about that suggestion.

So this is my question....the guy or gal who wrote the speech and designed the stage, with the red lights, Marines, and flag business.....had they watched V For Vendetta in the past six months and figured to create the same image?

It's a crazy idea.

House To Rush $50-Million For Chicago, DC and NY Refugee Crisis?

Well....there is a bill out there now....which would funnel $50-million over to the city governments of NY City, DC, and Chicago.

The question here....out of each dollar sent....how much is funneled to some middle guy who is providing a $4 plate of food for $10?  Yeah, carving out some corruption money.

The $50-million?  It'll arrive and probably be spent in four weeks.

My issue?  At the end of August, it was figured that 9,000 refugees had been put on buses for the three destinations.  At the current pace, by Christmas.....I would figure the number would be up around 16,000.

That 50-million would have to re-occur every six weeks....to 'save' the three cities.

Equating Levitation To Gender Stuff

At some, when all this 'wave' of gender stuff started up, I came one day to think that if this all made sense....then levitation made sense as well.

To define levitating?  Well....it's the rising of the human body....maybe an inch....maybe a couple inches.

The background....most all of the episodes ever discussed came from either hallucinations of the crowd, or some illusion of the guy demonstrating his ability.

Most religions at some point....have entertained levitation to some minor degree.

I felt that if you could change sexes.....you might as well go and claim you could levitate, and use the same degree of illusion or hallucination.

Everyone wants to believe in some gender change....to such a degree....that hallucinating it is not that big of a deal.  It'd be different to say you were changing your dog into a cat, or making yourself into a tree stump.  But this is just a simple task of getting the audience to think something....whether true or not.

Burn-Out Chatter

This week, I read through a news piece which talked up the burn-out rate of ministers in America....now developing into a problem where guys/gals walk off the job.

Trigger?  Well....you would think that the primary job is just to write up a simple 40-minute sermon for Sunday, chat up Moses ten times more than what he deserves, avoid Revelations and demon-chatter as much as possible, pray for sick folks, and just provide a marginal amount of inspiration to folks.  That's it....it was pretty simple.

In the past decade, the minister folks have all become politicized.  Either the 'headquarters' hypes this, or the local deacons, or just membership itself.  So you are working constantly to irk a quarter of congregation....forcing them to leave, and then constantly back in a recruitment drive to bring new people in with like-minded ways to your political dynamics.

Was the profession completely neutral prior to the past decade or two?  No....you can go back even to the 1960s/1970s, and find some political gaming going on.  It's just that in the current era....everything is played to the maximum.

If you were trying to run a non-politicized church?  I think you'd generally fail within a year or two....because of the current dynamics at work.

What happens to the burn-out ministers?  I would imagine they end up selling real estate, running a insurance agency, and shift-manager work at grocery stores.

Just an odd thing to think over....burn-out from too much politics.

This soon reaching schools and teachers?  Oh, I would imagine it's already going on.

The Batman

I sat yesterday and watched the new Batman movie (2022).  Three observations:

1.  It's about as 'dark' of a script that you can possibly imagine.  If you tried to compare it against the first three or four....it won't work.

2.  It's more of a mystery thriller than a superhero story, which is fairly entertaining.

3.  This Robert Pattinson guy does a pretty good job (not as good as Christian Bale).

It's just an odd piece designed as a mystery movie and keeps you interested.

Pregnant Men and Bearded Ladies Chat

I noticed a poll done (published yesterday)....where one in five Democrats believed that men could get pregnant.

Pausing over this....I pondered the number and the reality.

If you'd asked....do you personally know of any men in this fragile and delicate condition, the response would have been zero.  Yet, they believed this.

So it begs the question....what else might this quarter group believe in?

Could demons create global warming?

Are there any 5th grade teaches who can teleport from Nebraska to Miami?

Are there thousands of Americans with a second asshole?

Was there a fake JFK killed in Dallas in 1963, and the real JFK resides in a underground bunker in Virginia?

Did Hitler marry a guy six months prior to this death in 1945?

Is there a Biden plan to tax birth control pills at $3 a pill?

Did Joe Biden accidentally marry some French lady in 1963?

This brings me to a county fair visit in the early 1970s (in rural Alabama) where the carnival folks brought in some $1 show.....with a gal who had a beard.   For weeks after that, at the school....discussions centered on this, and why she was the only woman to have a beard that we knew of.  Eventually, we came to the decision that the beard had to be false, and that ended the discussions.

I guess I'm waiting for the fake beard reality to hit with pregnant men, and some Democrats having a wake-up moment.

To Be Honest

With all this woke, transgender stuff, pronoun chatter and folks stressing out....I'll quietly just say this....to be honest:

- I really don't care to know you, your sexual fantasies, or your 100-page self-spoken history of woes and problems.

- I really don't care to know your shoes size, your boob size, or the reason for your nervous tick with your right eye.

- I really don't care to hear about your disadvantages in life.

- I really don't care to your feelings over religion.

- I really don't care to discuss your reasons for being a vegan.

- I really don't care to hear your thoughts on daylight savings time.

- I really don't care to know how your first, second, third or fourth marriage failed.

- I really don't care to hear talking points over the unfairness of welfare.

- I really don't care to hear your blame-chatter over the amount of stress in your life.

- If you do want to talk over the TV series 'Lost', or Gumby episodes, or septic tank placement, or cowboy westerns from the 1960s, or Star Trek (but not Star Trek Discovery), or the health of Putin, or the failures of New York City.....then I'll give 30 minutes of my time.

Beyond that...maybe you and I really don't have that much to fill three minutes of conversation.

The Anti-MAGA Discussion

With the hype of MAGA, we got some dose by President Biden of the anti-MAGA business last week, and it brings up this odd discussion.....why can't President Biden or the national Democratic 'players' invent opposite MAGA....to oppose the Trump 'gimmick'?

In the past six months, this has been on my mind.

I eventually came to this conclusion....there are probably forty different minor counter-MAGA 'gimmicks' at play currently, but nothing really ties them into one central package.

You can't invent a national counter-MAGA that influences working-class Democrats, Hollywood Democrats, Hispanic Democrats, Black Democrats, Puerto Rican Democrats, farmer Democrats, mass urban Democrats, rural Democrats, woke Democrats, environmental Democrats, and so on.  So there is some minor theme being played out, and probably only appeals to 5-to-10-percent of the Democratic base itself.

The college debt thing?  There's a lot of folks in this group....but if you spread it out across the US....it's not a unifying thing.  A fair number of non-college working-class Democrats actually aren't that thrilled of the deal.

The 'soul of America' speech by President Biden last week?  Maybe in some weird way....he tried to present a negative slam on MAGA, but then you wondered....where was the counter-MAGA?  Basically, he just wanted you to stand up and hype democracy.  Thats a sales gimmick with limited potential.  If you lined up a hundred odd Democrats....probably a quarter of them were thrilled with the speech and the rest were either shaking their heads or wondering if there was a phase two to the 'soul of America' 'arc'.

So this is the odd part of the landscape.....as badly as there needs to be some counter-MAGA.....no one has yet to figure out how it'd work.  It's like inventing a cheesecake which has only 16 calories per slice, and you know it just isn't rocket science.

Paper and Digital Chatter

For about twenty years of my military life....I worked in vaults and handled classified material.  Just in paper content and shredding/burning....I probably handled enough crap by myself to fill five tractor trailers with material.

At one location, we had a closet area big enough to store about two-hundred grocery bags of plastic or paper.  About every two months, we'd have a group of three folks who'd get forced into hauling this to one central burn facility on the base.  You'd start the fire around 10 AM, and it'd take a good three hours of continued burn to be done.  Then you wasted an hour cleaning the ashes.  Your plus-up?  By 1:30 PM.....you were done and sent home.  Usually, you were dehydrated and your uniform had this smoke scent to it.  I should note, this was always a Friday job.

But added to this burden, there was usually every six months....this effort to clear out the folders.  You'd go through three-hundred-odd folders (marked Secret or higher) and you'd rid yourself of old crap.

What you did with the old folders?  Well....you threw them into a box, and they got re-used.  You might have a couple hundred of these stamped folders....with nothing in them.

So I look at this FBI chatter going on in the past day or two, and nothing makes sense.  They seem hyped-up about stamped but empty folders in the Trump raid....like they should not exist and something funny is going on.  No....the crap that was not useful to keep....got shredded or burned.  It's not rocket science.

Why are the FBI idiots like this?  I sat and contemplated this, and came to this logical 'ending'.  In the FBI world....shredding/burning is not their function.  They probably hire out some contractor group....a $15 an hour job....for Marvin, Woody and Delmar to come once a week....pick up their classified waste and dispose of it.  So they've never gone on a burn trip or wasted four hours shredding 700 pounds of paper garbage.

Looking at this whole discussion over achieves, the Trump material and discussion.....you come to this odd aspect.  Data is data, and typically....there are probably 15,000-odd copies of x-message around on literally hundreds of servers throughout the CIA, the White House, the Pentagon, etc.  To say that the message (one single message) matters when on paper?  No.....it's the digital copy that should matter and exist in the end.  It's been that way for over twenty years now.  We no longer live in a paper/plastic world.

Maybe there are some sixty to eighty year old government idiots around with paper on their mind, but at this point....the shred/burn gimmick is becoming less and less of value....because there's more digital than paper.

The Joe Strategy For Mid-Terms

 This centers on four things:

1.  Shipping out tons of US funds to Ukraine.

2.  Selling Trump as a combination of Cartman (Southpark), Stewie Griffin (Family Guy), Cruella de Ville (101 Dalmatians), and Mr Burns (The Simpsons).

3.  Making MAGA sound like a combination of Covid and the plague.

4.  Allowing woke to be a national standard.

Fascism Chatter

With all this semi-fascists chatter going on via the network news business....I sat and contemplated this 'word-game'.

Could you be just one-quarter-fascist, or 50-50 fascist, or three quarter fascist?

Could you be woke and still a tiny bit fascist?

Could you be normal at home, but full-up fascist at work?

Could you be a juvenile fascist?

Could you attend Sunday school, and hype your fascist side?

Could you avoid showing any movie from the 1950s, without being fascist?

Was Deputy Dawg, Space Ghost, or the Coyote (from Roadrunner fame) fascist?

In today's world, would Italian Benito Mussolini be considered full-up fascist, or just one-quarter fascist?

Are there more male fascists than female fascists, and why?

Finally, is there a rehab or propaganda program to counter fascism....without creating a whole counter-fascism angle? You know....fascism versus fascism?

Three Observations

 1.  When you go back and add up the participants of the Confederacy in 1860, it's something like 99-percent who were NOT slave-owners.  So it's hard to sit at a table today and say they were pro-slavery.

If however, you examine the amount of biased news, corrupted chatter by both political parties, and the dynamics of the day....it was a 'us-versus-them' situation, and men felt compelled to fight over 'something'.

If you then take this script and apply it today?  You get a very enthusiastic group, who in a single year....could go from simple woke-enthusiast to a fighting individual over 'something'.

It is odd how history repeats itself.

2.  About fifty-percent of the hype that President Biden uttered at the Philadelphia speech....has been 'walked-back' by the President.  He says he didn't mean all those things he said.

Just odd, but he makes so few speeches these days.....you have to assume he never read the speech text before that evening.

3.  I noticed off one news site.....apparently Americans are applying for pay-Apps, where you can buy groceries, then 'loan' you the money, for you to pay back later.

Yes, for grocery money.

It looks remarkably like 1929/1930 in a way.

The Thing About Neanderthals

I'm one of those people fascinated by discussions on Neanderthals.  This week, I sat through a podcast where a PhD guy sat and discussed this one odd difference between modern man living in this same age as the Neanderthal folks.

When you go and talk about a crowd of Neanderthal living in some cave or some location....the number goes from five to fifteen.  Modern man in the same era?  It could be as low as twenty but typically got into the 120-range (yeah, a tribal unit).

Why?  No one has figured this element out.

You would think that with zero birth control and lusty relations going on....typically every two years, the Neanderthal gals were delivering new 'troops' to the clan.  Were they more susceptible to disease or early death?  Unknown.  Was it simply bad luck and one out of every births lead to a death by age ten?  Was there some weird ritual going on where someone was sacrificed every six years?

The problem with a low number in the tribe 'game'....for defensive purposes.....you just never can be sure of some fight with the other tribe on the far side of the valley.  You might wipe most of them out in a hour-long battle and find two members of your clan were wiped out as well.

Were they just territorial and always inclined to fight over a forty square mile space with any intruder clan?

It's a silly question but you just wonder if the Neanderthals just never grasped that there was safety in numbers.

Observations Over Joe Biden's 'Soul of a Nation' Speech

I sat this morning and watched the roughly 25-minute Philadelphia speech.  Some observations:

1.  The days where Biden could deliver a peppy and highly enthusiastic speech (probably as late as the 1990s) are long gone.  It was a kind of speech that VP Harris should have given.

2.  It was just odd how Biden walked to the podium with his wife....then she stepped off to the left.

3.  Lighting?  Well...it was somewhat dim.  Maybe somewhat intentional....maybe accidental?  I don't know.  It was like they had a 40-watt bulb over him.

4.  Scratchy throat thing?  Well....yeah, one could notice that.

5.  Maa-gaa chatter?  It was a funny pronunciation that he tried to use for MAGA folks. How many times did utter the phrase?  I stopped counting at ten.

6.  The F-Joe Biden chants?  Well....you could hear them toward the end.

7.  For 2022, there hasn't been that many speeches made by the President and so it's hard to grade this one.  I think a lot of people would suggest that 'beacon-to-the-world' status, that he uttered, has come and gone.

My humble guess?  You might see one more speech like this prior to the end of 2022. It'll probably come just prior to November's mid-term.

Socialism Chatter

It was a good piece on Political Insider today....topic?  "It’s Easy Being A Socialist In A Country You Don’t Have To Escape From."

The general problem with absolute socialist countries....is that you reach some level where you have burned through the company-owed money, and go to private money....then wake up to realize there's no one much to finance your 'gifts' to the public.  From that point on....you are in Venezuela.

You can always claim some success with marginal socialism....like Finland, Iceland or Germany....where you talk socialist a lot but your entire landscape is capitalist in nature.

I was in a office once where the topic came up....where would we escape to....if we could up and leave the US.  No one really voiced Mexico or Canada.  In fact.....most voiced places like the Philippines, Australia, Italy or Greece.....more for the scenic stuff and hospitality....than the economy business.

I've always been of a mind that giving some idiot kid (age 20) four months of time to travel around the globe...would bring 90-percent of people to the reality that it's hard to find a better economic place to live, than the US.  I will admit....if it were just for scenery or food....I'd be in Italy in a heartbeat.
